Ok for a brief visit.

A one night stop en route to San Sebastian. The hotel was quiet, staff were helpful and friendly, however we weren't able to use the bar due to a private function, and the restaurant was closed, resulting in us going out in the pouring rain. A coffee machine in the room, however no coffee available. Breakfast was good, however we felt it was a rip off paying for parking for a hotel that was not in the centre.

Nice friendly hotel. It is part of a training facility and a little out of main area with only one good restaurant in walking distance

Very polite and friendly staff. The building has a lot of character and it’s handy from the airport. Rooms are spacious and clean. It was a great choice for my one night stay in the city.

How to have a good break!

As with our previous stay, we found the experience gave us full satisfaction. All the staff were friendly and helpful, and the facilities very good. If we ever come back to Santander we would definitely stay at Las Carolinas

We arrived 20 minutes after check in time at 23.20hrs. This was no fault of our own as our flight was delayed from London. We phoned the hotel from Santander to explain that we were running late.On arrival we were greeted by an obviously annoyed receptionist and made us feel unwelcome. Other than this the one night stay was good-nice old house and good breakfast.

The room was quiet and clean and the staff was very nice and helpful. There was plenty of parking for 8 euro. There was a nice restaurant around the corner and plenty of watering holes nearby. Don't hesitate!

Quiet hotel in Santander

This was an ok hotel in Santander. Old villa, nice garden, good breakfast, big rooms and bathrooms, in a quiet area of town so you don't hear anything. The hotel was a bit hard to find since it wasn't where google maps said it was, but the reception desk lady was able to guide me to it well when I called. The hotel is a 10 min walk from town center. I would say for the price one could find better hotels in Santander, but other hotels I've stayed at there before weren't that impressive either, so maybe the price is ok after all.

Not Reccomended

Hotel does not have air conditioning and weather was very hot. In order to get some cooling at night we left a bathroom window open and were attacked by mosquito's. Spent the next few days scratching and being absolutely miserable. I would have a hard time recommending this hotel.Very poor selection of places to eat within walking distance was also a problem. Free parking and internet access were only good points.

Loveley old hotel with modern updates.

Once we found it, by asking a burger van owner!, as the sat nav didn't recognise it, we had a lovely stay overnight. The English speaking young receptionist booked us in and served us a couple of drinks in the bar.

It took a while to find the hotel even with sat nav. But nice when we got there.

Superbe parador.

Notre séjour s'est très bien passé. Toutefois, le bar qui normalement est ouvert jusqu'à 23h n'était accessible que pour des boissons sans alcool, le spécialiste etant absent! Nous sommes restés 5 nuits ! Le restaurant est fermé depuis la pandémie. Par ailleurs, le parquet de la chambre craque au moindre pas! Dommage! En ce qui concerne le parking, il est privé mais jamais fermé. Des personnes extérieures à l'hôtel le traverse ainsi que le parc de l'hôtel qui est privé lui aussi.

Buen servicio, sin embargo aún sabiendo que la reservación era para dos personas con una cama matrimonial, nos dejaron dos camas individuales y ropa de cama también individual.

Ik vond het gebouw erg bijzonder, oud maar charming. Kamer was groot, bed vrij confortable, badkamer ook best groot. Antieke houtenvloer krakte een beetje. Ontbijt is inbegrepen en goed. Ligging is wat minder goed als je geen auto heb, vanaf de busstation is niet ver maar het hotel lig op een hoog gelegen wijk. Met een taxi ben je er snel, ik heb 5 euro voor de rit betaald.

Un 3* dans une ancienne villa

Très bon accueil par un personnel parlant français: pour un 3*, confort correct et vaste salle de bain avec une excellente douche; bonne literie. Seul bémol. à notre arrivée, odeur très désagréable (chats ou chiens mouillés) qui s'est atténuée peu à peu. Ainsi nous avons pu déguster notre petit déjeuner du lendemain, agréablement avant de terminer nos vacances.

Te duur voor wat je betaald

Een opleidingshotel dat een betere tijd gekend heeft qua staat van onderhoud. De badkamer benidigd echt een renovatie en de kamer is erg gedateerd. De locatie is best prima, 20 minuten van de binnenstad. Ontbijt was ook prima. Maar voor de prijs heb je andere verwachtingen. En dan betaal je naast de 150€ ook nog 8€ extra voor het parkeren...

Aparcamiento en las instalaciones, entorno muy silencioso. Habitación y cama enormes. El único pero lo tiene el desayuno. Teniendo en cuenta que el hotel se encuentra entro de una escuela de cocina, esperaba que el desayuno fuera más producido.

El hotel tiene el encanto de ser una casa antigua con unos jardines bonitos y tranquilos. El inconveniente de oírse las pisadas y el desayuno sin demasiada variedad.

Alte Villa in schönem Garten heute Hotelfachschule

Besonders der Blick beim Frühstück in den großen, alten Garten gefiel uns. PKW-Parkplatz war gut gesichert. Die Räume der alten Villa waren gut gedämmt.. Es fehlte nur ein deutlicherer Hinweis darauf, dass diese alte Villa unser Hotel war.

Das Hotel ist eigenwillig und hat Charme. Es liegt oben in der Stadt, sodass man von der Terrasse vor dem Zimmer einen schönen Blick in den Park nebenan und auf die Stadt hat. Das Bad ist groß und hell. Parken vor dem Haus

Hotel tres excentré, minimum 20minutes à pied pour descendre au centre ville par contre très bien placé pour sortir rapidement de la ville et rayonner. Vieille batisse rénovée en 2003, abritant une ecole hôtelière. Très belle cave à vin. Petit dejeuner quelconque.

Buen hotel

Buen hotel ,tranquilo y sin ruidos ,situado cerca del centro a apenas 10 minutos andando ,en el que se puede aparcar bien en los alrededores.Habitación amplia y desayuno bastante completo.Lo unico malo es que la calefaccion por la noche,estaba demasiado fuerte.relación calidad-precio muy aceptable.
