The hotel is nice but the rooms need renovation and the Air condition is weak and does not cool the room. The minibar in the room is empty, no complementary coffee, tea or water in the room. The staff is helpful and kind.
Lovely relaxing stay food good pleasant staff I was only English person travelled on my own staff made me very welcome
Breakfast could do with something different daily its same everyday bit boring balcony room could be better toilet room has bad sliding door
I have stayed here 6 times now and never failed to disappoint. Although i would reccomend chsnging the bathroom doors from sliding doors to normal doors
There is no air conditioning in any of the common areas and the air conditioning in the rooms are basically like a fan so if visiting in summer, really think about booking here as it is extremely uncomfortable. The manager was incredibly helpful and tried everything in her power to help and resolve the issue but ultimately, over 5 days maintenance came out a minimum of 10 times to check the air con (stopped worked hours at a time) The food is repetitive- by day 2 you’ll want to eat out all the time so think carefully before booking all inclusive or at all. The staff are incredible apart from the Italian restaurant, horrible and rude in there. The hotel is understaffed but the rest of the team (bar the Italian restaurant) try their best and are very helpful and friendly. The hotel is dated and has definitely seen better days. Go early for all your meals as 30-45 min before the cut off time, they stop restocking food items (which is ridiculous in my opinion), we complained about this to not avail. They run out of cutlery and plates incredibly quickly too so you could be standing around waiting 10 minutes for a glass. Overall, the staff are brilliant but the hotel owners are clearly penny pinching and you can tell, until they invest to upgrade this hotel, I would not recommend it unfortunately - not worth the price at all
Decent and good location
Decent hotel. Clean and conveniently located for train station and Menara Mall plus restaurants etc. Otherwise, nothing too exciting in a standard twin room.
Ok place to stay - not a four star. Tired and in need of a refurb. Works well for just a place to lay your head as not far fr centre of Marrakech and very close to train station and Mall.
The hotel is nice and the stuff very helpful
DO NOT BOTHER!
This was probably the worst hotel we have ever been to, we were discriminated against, they treated our Moroccan friends better than us (We are White English/British for reference) and they made it glaringly obvious. Just one example - we tried booking into one of the 2 restaurants all week and they kept telling us they were full, but when our Moroccan friends asked they got in the same day booking! this is NOT the only thing. The all inclusive food was repeated & honestly i think i enjoyed food from 1 of the 5 days we stayed here. The maintenance that is needed for this hotel was crazy, the slides had lost their glossy coat & every time you'd go down them you'd scrape all up your back, the aqua park pool & bar pool was falling apart, the Lino that lined the pool was coming away so you'd be stepping on bubbled up Lino floating in the pool, the pool bar DOESNT serve cocktails only the main pool, the rooms are VERY old fashioned, its all local alcohol not premium which is worrying. There ISNT 3 restaurants like they claim, there are 2 and one Snack bar. All inclusive lasts from 10 am to 5 pm at the pool bar & also the aqua park pool closes at 6pm. the main bar closes for all inclusive at 11pm, you can keep on drinking but have to pay! the slides don't constantly stay on they are on for a small majority of the day, There are honesty endless amounts i could say about this hotel. just DONT BOTHER. i have ran out of allowable characters! horrible staff & waste of money
The weather was fantastic, the hotel entertainment didnt seem to cater for English speaking guests.
The hotel is located in the new Marakech area. Easy to get taxi. Only 15 minutes from airport. Very big, nice and clean hotel. Facility is excellent, with big swimming pool and kids aqua park. About 2.5 km from Jemaa El Fna, the biggest market in Marakech. Definitely a place to go in Marakech. Old Marakech is close to Jemaa El Fna, however cannot be accessed with cars, very small alley. It is a lot better to stay in the new area. Feel safer.
Good stay for last minute booking.
It is Ok to stay, since we are on the last minute booking. We have to pay a little too high for it. The breakfast and dinner buffet are OK. The room clean but AC doesn't work. 30 minutes walk to Medina or 30 - 50 Dirham for taxi.
Fantastic for families and great value for money
Amazing holiday and stay. The hotel is very well located with access (by foot) to Gueliz, Hiverage, Mall, CR7 hotel, bus station, and Jema El Fena only 50 dirham taxi away. The hotel staff were excellent, the food was unique every day and 5*, the rooms were good, the seating area is very good, the spa was good, and the pool, etc was good. Value for money this hotel is a solid 10/10.
A very good service nice peaceful
Staff very unhelpful... Rooms are boring and dated. The whole toilet was moving, it took them 4 days to move me to a room where the shower wasn't even working. Appalling
Labranda review
Overall the staff were friendly and the food tasted great. However, we checked in at 4pm but our room was not ready. We had to wait 30 mins for our room to be cleaned and ready for use.
Choose somewhere actually worth your money
I called the day before my booking to confirm that they see my reservation they told me their reception was really busy to call back in 2 hours. I call back in 2 hours they tell me to call the next day (the day of my reservation) after I already drive the 3 hours. I get there and we get to our room, the WiFi is barely coming up. It works fine downstairs but in our room doesn’t work I tell the lady at the front desk with the glasses she keeps repeating the password to me …. I told her multiple times that I already have to password and I’ve already connected. She still insists on me giving her my phone to write the correct password ? I had to call them 5 times they had to send somebody to see that I don’t have WiFi on my phone and they finally switched my room. During check out I left and I called to say I forgot all my credit cards in the room because my son plays with them and like to stick them in places so we drove back and they found my cards , except for the 2 cards 100dh inwi. Of course those they said they didn’t find . Thief’s of course . This hotel should be wayyyy cheaper than it is . $300 for 2 nights with the kind of service they have ??? I do have one nice thing to say though , Hamza by the pool is a very very nice person always checking on everybody to make sure ur okay by the pool he was great .
Not the level you expect in Marrakech. I do not recommend this hotel.
Good area and nice weather
Got a room for my parent, they enjoyed their stay.
Very Clean Hotel
My first stay at this Hotel and I must say that for 4-star hotel it was very clean, friendly staff with a smile and most of all that I saw them daily working hard to keep this place Hygienically clean.

Hope the renovation of the floor finishes so no one will smell the paint smell :(. Ac was not working only heater on despite the temperature was 29 degree Celsius 84 fahrenheit.
Terrible... :( Stuff very not helpful Poor breakfast and same evry day Bad smell (humidity) Toilet from the 60's Some black ants as roommates.
2.9 star hotel with cero star reception....
2 star hotel. Beds are concrete solid. Broken shower head, broken security box, broken electric sockets. Buffet breakfast looks run over by trucks. Temp control wouldnt work also, open the window and boom boom music from pool and garbage pickup at 5am which is a nice wakeup call. Nice lobby. Only go here if you have kids to enjoy the water park. Good location but im going somewhere else next time. Also, rude people at check in, want bouchers, not hotels.com....flashback to the 80's.
Fantastic value hotel, room was spacious and had an extra bed. Breakfast was good and overall the place surpassed my expectations. Would happily stay again. Location wise it wasn't too far from Jemma El Finr, we actually walked there which took roughly 25/30minutes. I'd recommend a taxi, Mc Donalds was a 5-10 minute walk down along with a store to buy any items needed. Negatives included a lengthly check in process where we were asked to fill in little forms which generally hotels do themself, thereafter we were sitting around for quite a while which was disappointing, also the indoor pool was chargeable which was a shame. Outdoor pools due to the time of year were unusable. Overall i would stay here again purely due to the price and the size of the rooms provided!
New Years event was a big scam additional paying and worst food than the all inclusive deal I booked On the checkout they had this bills for another person on my room 1200dh for 2 bottles of champagne which I didn’t order and I signed one paper because I didn’t pay they are the worst comparing to there prices pls share this experience so no person will have the same they just want to rob anything they can from hosts
Labranda Rose Marrakech
The room was decorated nice and had a nice bright cheery feeling to it. The bedding was very nice, but my back ached from the stiffness of the mattress by the first morning. I didn’t sleep well. The maids did a great job and the breakfast was sufficiently good. The front desk attendants were courteous and helpful, though I would like to comment that six front desk attendants assisting one couple is excessive. It was a bit overwhelming. Maybe consider two at most.
Nice lication, comfortable room, goid variety on all inclusive. But no tea or coffee facilities in the room. On holidays when you wake up the first thing everyone needs is a good cup of tea or coffee but for that we had to get change and go downstairs which was very uncomfortable! So please start putting Electric Cattle in rooms.
Nice short stay
Overall stay way not bad, but lack of option in the restaurant for both lunch and dinner. No water or drinks in the mini bar even when all inclusive.
The hotel itself was beautiful the decor etc. The rooms were also set up nice and spacious but they weren't clean. The tables were dirty all of them including bedside tables. Also if you look closely in the bathroom dirt in the corners etc.
Only the people that worked in the spa were super nice with great customer service. Otherwise the sauna was broken, they said all irons have gone missing, they quoted different prices for late checkout and we ended up having to pay more. The hotel is very run down and there were not just a few but a ridiculous amount of ants coming through holes in the wall into the bedroom. When I mentioned this to reception they just laughed.
Upgrade needed
Needs upgrade asap
Fair
Complicated for check in. Also wanted to extend our stay and couldn’t the clerk at the front desk did not even checked the computer or offer if there is a cancellation. So we booked at le grand hotel savoy which you can’t compare to labranda !!!
My stay at the hotel was a pleasure to stay in. Very beautiful hotel and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room including the bathroom were always super clean when we returned from outside
Nice swimming pool and architecture. friendly staff
Everything is good but the water park u have to be careful. Everyone hurt themself little, but one of us even needed stitches. Use the blue matt every slide.
Great hotel
Great hotel in a very good location shops and restaurants near by rooms very spacious and clean service from staff good breakfast a good variety I would recommend this hotel to stay during a visit to marrakesh
Hotel needs upgrade, wide range of issues. Slow drain and tiolet not bolted to the floor or moving around. Stuff needs to learn good customer service, or how to be respectfull to all customers. Example, if someone respectfully standing in the line and you see that person , but you still choos to take those that just walk up to your desk and ignore peson that should be next until that person walks up to you is badcuomer service.
The pool and outdoor area is great, same cant be said about the inside. Rooms are small cramped, our room was unprepared at 4pm. Very unclean untidy.
Good variety of food and a lots of vegetarian options. Staff generally friendly but have some grumpy waiters... Have to argue what room we had booked as we had been giving not the rooms we've booked and the quality was different, but we have been moved the next day after complain to Expedia. Constant noise from building on 5th floor...
Overall was good but they should have someone on reception that can at least speak English very bad communication problem.
The hotel has a lot of potential but unfortunately it’s the small details which let it down. Restaurant; I went down to breakfast at various times throughout my weeks stay at Labranda, so I was able to get a overall accurate view of what was available each day. The bread was not always replenished everyday and some had been put back out from the previous day, meaning it was very hard. Not much variety with the breakfast at all. The cups and glasses were not available numourous times. They hadn’t brought out any clean ones. There was No set station for cutlery. It was only available on the table which where constantly missing. Gym; The equipment was broken (abdominal machine) It was not clean when I booked that there was an additional price for the indoor pool and cardio machine. Pool; The sun loungers were horrendous very old fashioned. There was a metal bar situated under the area I sat, making it extremely uncomfortable. They should be padded!!! Room; When I arrived I was told my room was ready. Non of the cushions had covers on. They were only covered by my third day there! Even by 5pm my room had not been cleaned. The cleaner even let herself into my room at 8:30am in the morning while I was still in bed without knocking! When me and my partner wished to enquire about something at the reception desk, the man behind started talking In french (I’m English) to another man with his enquire next to me . It was very rude. Very poor customer service.
Loved that the property is close to the airport. Breakfast is mediocre and the property is starting to look a little run down. Overall good 1 night stay!
If you are Asian or Black don’t stay here they treat Europeans like Kings and People of colour like second class citizens seems like that everywhere I suppose
Staff very friendly and helpful Easy to get around Though taxi to square good pool for kids
cold room, No room internet and poor service
My room was very cold, and I had to always ask for assistance. The staff members are friendly but the hotel is quite old and needs renovation. There was one particular staff member a lady who was always trying to help me and I am really grateful for her. Otherwise the room is cold, the water gets heated after while, the phone in the room and internet did not work. What ever you say this will not change so get used to it.
Overall very nice hotel. Service was superb! Main outdoor pool area was being renovated when we stayed but with the size of the property it was not an issue. Second small outdoor pool and indoor pool area. Noise from construction and they were happy to have us change rooms. Meals and drinks were good. Animation staff were very helpful, pleasant and provided onsite activities throughout the day and night.
Basic hotel but don't book for the pool!
I was staying in Marrakech and needed to book a hotel for my final night. My boyfriend flew over for A NIGHT to meet me, and as the weather had been so poor during the stay and because the weather on Monday 12th February was going to be significantly better, I specifically chose a hotel so that we could have a relaxing day by the pool. On reaching the hotel, I had to sit and wait in reception for an hour as although they had details of my reservation, they didn’t have a “confirmation” of the booking from Expedia. On finally gaining access to the very basic room, I changed and headed down to the pool. On reaching the outdoor area, I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry; the pool was drained and workmen were using jackhammers to rip up the surrounding area. This meant that you couldn’t even sit in the outside bar area to have a drink and enjoy the sunshine. I then found out that the restaurants were closed which meant having to get taxis to and from the city centre in order to have dinner. At no point during the booking or checking in process were we made aware of the situation and what is more frustrating is the fact that there were lots of other choices we could have made for accommodation had we been furnished with information about the refurbishment. I suffer from lupus, so the last day of holiday is very important to me so that I don’t get stressed and suffer whilst travelling. This was a really awful experience and spoiled the end of an otherwise lovely trip.
Nice hotel with indoor pool
Mainly Moroccan food and not many English speaking guests, but a very enjoyable stay. We walked a great deal as there are so many interesting places to explore from this hotel.
Busloads of testy German tourists stay here
Checkin was a nightmare because dozens of tourists were at the desk waving papers and passports and screaming at the Moroccan staff.
Terrible Service
There was no hot water in the room during my 5 day stay at this hotel. They lied to me saying that there was no hot water in the entire hotel. But when I questioned other guests they had hot water. They refused to change my room telling me that they were full, yet there were groups arriving and leaving each day. They could not even speak English at the reception. Got in touch with Hotels.com and they said they could not do anything about it !!! I am a Silver Member and have used Hotels.com over the years and will think twice about doing this !!
Good for only a short stay
Shower made noise when you was using it, requested for a double bed, but got two singles pushed together instead. WIFI was absolutely weak and almost none existent, had to stick my head out the window just to get a decent connection. And finally they charged us 6 moroccan dirims to use the phone to make a call. These things just made us feel a bit Meh.. other then that the location is AMAZING, everything is right near you (restaurants, clothes shops etc), it's pretty cheap to stay and the breakfast was actually very nice they had a great selection. Staff were very friendly also!
Nice hotel close to coffee shop and restaurants ..
I enjoyed the 2 nights at les Idrissides...the Hotel has good facilities ,and good entertainment. It is a verygood deal for your money.I surely recommend it to anyone that wants to enjoy a good holiday for a very reasonable price...
Not as described.
Hotel is well located, ample rooms and good breakfast, good pool. Wifi does not work in any room only in the lobby, rooms need Maintenance (in our case one lamp did not work, shower drain was clogged, one window had no shades and TV remote control had no battery). Hotel would greatly improve with more attention to details, new decor and maintenance. No service at the pool, to get towels you need a 10€ deposit. Not a 4 star US standard. Front desk people were nice and accepted an early check out as it was very important in our trip to have a wifi signal in the room.
To be expected
They make a decent hamburger out by the pool.. buffet was ok if you like morroco food. Seemed safe enough
Ace hotel
Hotel met expectations, was clean and neat. Room was of large size. Location was perfect.
Great breakfast but loud music late at night...
The reason I gave the hotel 3 stars is because during our stay almost every night we could hear loud music in our room. We asked if they had a club and they said no. Unfortunately, they had something going on continuously and we couldn't even sleep in our rooms before midnight, even on the 6th floor, due to the ridiculously loud music. Parents leave the children in rooms unattended and they would run the halls making a lot of noise late at night. Calling the front desk with issues such as these was no help, not even an apology. The people that work there are overall nice and very polite and their breakfast is amazing! This is what kept us there through the stay, although I am unsure if we would every stay there again.
Dated hotel in the business part of town
The hotel has the basic amenities that would be consistent with a 4 star rating, spacious rooms and nice grounds, however the rooms are dated, minibar is comprised of an empty fridge, and the lack of wifi in the rooms and only intermitent internet service in the lobby is a major set-back. Overall the atmosphere is not very welcoming-the lobby is dark and windy in the afternoons and the hotel overall does not give a very inviting impression.
We didn't want to come home!
Had an amazing time! Reception staff are rude and don't give information (a leaflet in English would be nice) but they are ok with French speaking guests, all other staff were super friendly especially the animation team (Amime showed us how to make mint tea and some Arabic and we had a good laugh with him as well as the others). There was lots to do if you wanted but was also peaceful if you wanted to relax. The weather was amazing! Hotel is close to the souks, water park, gardens and loads more places to visit (taxis were a good price). Food was a bit hit and miss and would advise booking for the hotels Italian & Moroccan restaurants at check in as they quickly book up! Take a travel kettle as none available unlike stated and a pain asking for hot water! Hotel could do with some updating but people need to remember it's a 4 star hotel to their standards not to ours which may explain some bad reviews! We are definitely going back as soon as we can, we didn't want to leave Marrakech!
The hotel needs major work and improvement . The stay was disappointing because of the lack of AC with temps exceeding 90oF. When we asked what to do they advised us to open the balcony doors; we did and we got eaten up by mosquitos. Moreover, the hotel tends to cater to groups needing loud music all day long-- waking us earlier than reasonable and the banging beats go on incessantly .
A Week in Marrakech
Very noisy, not other guests but loud music played throughout the day, with entertainment staff constantly turning up the volume and trying to cajole guests into joining in activities through the day and evenings, which, quite frankly the majority of the guests were completely uninterested in. The pool area, gardens and communal areas were clean and pleasant however, the room we stayed in was very grubby - stained carpets and furnishings and furniture, the beds were clean although the bedding was not changed during the week we stayed but the towels were changed every day. There was an enormus choice of food, salads and cooked food, and the waiting staff were pleasant although a little pushy at times. I don't eat meat but none of the staff spoke more than a few words of English and my French is limited, so unless you are fluent in French or Arabic it's almost impossible to understand or explain anything. The hotel was billed as 4 stars I would disagree.
Not convenient for business travel
Do not go to this hotel if for business travel. There is no wifi in the rooms. The noise from the nightclub is very loud if you are staying at rooms in this part of the property. The pool does not open until 9:00am, which is not convenient. Even if on personal travel beware that the check-in is extremely slow (I waited 30 minutes) and the rooms are basic, particularly the bathrooms.
Modern area, quality restaurants around
Stayed 4 nights, it's on a main boulevard, walking distance to modern fancy restaurants and newer part of marrakesh, safe and clean area called Hivernage.breakfast good and big garden with diff bars. Big minus- wifi not quarantee in the room, mostly good in public areas like canteen and hallways.
2 stars by US standards.
Reasonable hotel but well short of 4 star quality by US standards. Wifi didn't work in the room - lobby only, where guests were allowed to smoke. Ordered a nonsmoking room and found an ash tray in ours. Bathroom door wouldn't close; was very difficult to move. No shampoo or conditioner provided. Room furnishings were comfortable but very old. Brunch was outstanding though - omelette and pancake station, many breads and fruits/spreads - moroccan and western styles. Loved it!
Nice hotel, French speaking
The rooms were great and very modern and comfy. The animation team are lovely and made our stay. However, this is a predominantly French hotel, no one really speaks English and all guests are French which made us feel slightly isolated as we only spoke a small amount of french.
Internet was not working for the majority of her one night stay. There was no safe in the room. There's an extra cost to get it. And when we asked for it, we were told to come back later. Ramadan fast was ending soon. But no netter what time, everything felt like a chore if you asked for something at the front desk. After we would ask for something they would turn around and talk about us in Arabic. The water on our floor did not work from 7-9 am. Breakfast was good.
Good for couples, not so much lone travellers
Hotel Les Idrissides was a beautiful building not far from the airport. The hotel itself is a 20 minute walk from the Djemma El Fna (main square). The hotel staff spoke French and a little English but I soon realised the majority of guests were French couples. The room itself was clean and spacious however didn't have certain amenities that were reflected in the booking I made. There was no safe which I found off putting, there was also no English TV channels and the balcony door wasn't secure. Beside those few features the rooms were clean and the maids were very friendly, the buffet breakfast selection was ideal. The entertainment staff tried to include myself, a lone traveller, but as I was unable to speak French I often found myself sat by the pool reading my book.
A fuir !!!
4 fois à cet hotel personnel toujours aussi accueillant.Emplacement très stratégique.
Très bon acceuil chambre impeccable
Ideal famille
For the price it is good ,just don’t expect to much , expectations is key.
Merci
