Nice rooms and calm pool!

Perfect location with easy access to Lackland. Much nicer than the sister property closer to the gates.

I purchased an insurance to make sure I can get refunded some if not all of anything arise. It happened before. So I paid extra. We could not make it since the husband had health emergency. Called the hotel & was told they don’t have issues with it & that I call Expedia. Expedia told me the property manager would not sign the waiver so I didn’t get a refund. To whoever’s side is that supposedly, considering an additional insurance fee is there, that is a bogus. I didn’t get a refund & on the other end we didn’t get paid for days he was absent for work.

I am extremely disappointed with the lack of responsiveness from the manager there who name Margo Gaza. Our family had a serious incident at the hotel where our 3-year-old son slipped and fell in the shower due to the worn-out non-slip mat. This resulted in a trip to the emergency room, where my son required four staples to his head. We emailed Margo about the situation, but it took over a month and three follow-up emails to receive an response. Unfortunately, the response we received was refused to take any responsibility or offer any compensation for the incident. If you are considering this hotel for your family, especially if you’re traveling with young children, I would advise you to reconsider. The lack of care and accountability is deeply concerning.

My stay was OK

My husband and I only stayed here two nights, but it was very nice. The room and everywhere we went was clean. The breakfast was much better than expected. It was very quiet at night. I would recommend this hotel.

Our family has stayed here several times. Great location and friendly employees. Enjoy our stay every time and will continue to do so in the future

The only thing , I didn’t like was the carpet:( inside the rooms and the hallways! Please changed it:( take it out! It would look much better! Also change the pillows!

This hotel was very clean and nice. The rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Overall, this was an excellent hotel.

I fell in the bath tub there was nothing on floor in tub and slipped and hit my head on facet and banged my head. When we reported it to front desk she requested a pad for tub. But never got one very dissapointed it that they did not help me.

The hotel was very clean and quiet even though it was located by a well-traveled highway. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was amazing. Highly recommend this hotel and this will be our hotel to stay in when we are in the area.

What I like about the property was that it was clean and well maintained.

Overall a great stay! Clean room and friendly service. Room shows age and can use some brighter lights. Nice to have complimentary breakfast though the eggs were bland and sausages were salty and quite dry.

The people staying in next room or down the hall there child cried a lot; and we were on 4th floor we could hear all the early morning traffic on highway… and the bed was way to hard

The best!!! Took a trip to Sea World for the weekend. The hotel is Very close to everything! Next to a Bubbas, 2min from Cracker Barrel, 12 min from Sea World, 10-15 min from Downtown SA. The lobby was clean and cozy! They have a fully stocked snack area by their front lobby. Rooms were super clean and stocked with amenities. The beds were a bit firm for my liking but the sheets were very clean and crisp! The breakfast was soooo good and warm! The dining area was clean as well. The staff was very organized with the breakfast time and kept everything in order. I made this hotel my favorite and will definitely be going back again!

Don't let them give you a room on the 1st floor

Terribly placed room. Right next to gym, parking lot and breakfast area. Add to that inconsiderate people who slam the door at all hours. Noisy!, couldn't rest with all the noise. Breakfast was also lacking quite a bit with sulfur smelling eggs and very salty sausage links. The good things: clean updated room, comfortable beds and courteous service from front desk.

Just a quick one night stay

Came to visit our daughter in San Antonio and wanted a room near her apartment.

Loved my short stay at La Quinta. Clean, smelled amazing in the lobby, awesome service.

Biggest issue was the fuzzies and stains on my sheets. Aside from that great staff, my room overall was clean. ac/heat was great on both and I appreciated the coffee and breakfast.

The only thing that I can say took away from our stay, and it's incredibly minor, is that the bathtub seemed very slippery when we arrived. I had to be careful not to slip. I'll just be more careful to check and rinse it down beforehand next time. Other than that, it was a great stay and we'll definitely be back.

It was a really nice environment with a very friendly staff. The breakfast food was good and my room was clean. The only thing that was bad was that only on elevator was working so it took awhile sometimes to get from the forth floor to the first floor.

We only stayed over night but it was really clean, staff was nice.

Great hotel, would book here again, I love staying at la Quinta inn and suites the majority of the time they’re up to date and clean. The only thing I would say is that the pool water did look a bit dirty. But other than that great hotel.

This is by far one of the cleanest "affordable" hotels I have ever stayed in. The entire staff is phenomenal! Big props go to Samantha at the front desk who went out of her way to help us...more than once. If you are headed to the area of JBSA Lackland, I highly recommend this hotel. It is 15 minutes from either visitor gate.

It was a nice stay except our a/c went out and there would be no mechanic until Monday. We checked out early but on the other hand housekeeping was great.

Kudos to the staff! Samantha, Nicholas, Alicia and Carlos were kind, friendly and helpful and the hotel is immaculately clean! Now for the negatives. Smells like smoke. Ran a diffuser day and night in our room. Also, the ambient music being played in the lobby also plays in the hallways upstairs. LOUD! Found out the volume control is locked inside the manager's office. Even in our room with TV on we could still hear the words. Music on at 6am and still playing at midnight. If you are a smoker who enjoys country music, these may be positives for you. If you want peace and quiet, not so much. We are having to air out our belongings now that we are home. Every thing smells like smoke. We didn't even try to eat the free breakfast. I did enjoy the free coffee that was available 24/7. All in all, I would not recommend for non-smokers.

We stayed for the weekend and it was a very convenient location for our SeaWorld trip. Housekeeping came each morning, during the night it was very relaxing and quiet, bathroom was clean, beds comfortable, clean pool. The only thing I will say is parking fills fast so if you’re out late expect to park at one of the restaurants on the same lot, overall a very good choice!

Second time I stay at this property and I have enjoyed it. Cleaned and in a very good area. Will stay here again.

Overall it was clean and staff were friendly. Disappointed that they were going to charge 30 dollars to check in even 15 min early. While the room was ready.

Wow!! The guy that checked us in was great!! Never had I seen this customer service at a hotel. It was a great hotel, the room was clean and very spacious. We were very impressed by the customer service, the room, the hotel. There are many restaurants around. The pool was nice a little small but nice. Breakfast was simple but good.

The one thing that's good about the location was it's near to Seaworld. Quite easily located near the main intersection and you can use that to reach anyplace in San Antonio. Front desk were quite helpful, especially the morning staff. They identified the best spots to park for the river walk. Parking was slightly painful as there were limited spots as compared to the rooms available. What we didn't like about this La Quinta was the breakfast. Appalling quality and very very little choice. The place has a comparatively smaller dining area so we had to share a large table on one day. The toaster broke on the 2nd day and we had to eat cold bread. They should offer healthier options and warm food else should remove breakfast inclusions and reduce that from the room charge. It's not worth it.
