Good location, well lit property, nice surrounding area. Fitness Center wasn't huge but fine. Great breakfast, good water pressure, good TV selection although the picture/color on the TV in my room was dull. Nice staff. Anything to "nitpick" at was nothing I had to actually complain to staff about and wouldn't prevent me from staying there again.

The property and facility was clean, good breakfast, clean, plenty food. Good folks who work there, accomadating, mannerly, helpful, and kind. We really felt the mattresses were kinda uncomfortable, but one could say this about any mattress that ur not used to. Was a good stay for the most part.

The parking lot is very small. The TV is terrible. The screen had a blue hue to it. The apps on the TV would not update saying it was a problem with the connection, but the TV was connected to the Wi-Fi and the TV only have four working channels. The worst part of it was the TV.

Dirty so so dirty blankets were disgusting the room is dark the restroom had not even half a roll of toilet paper had 3 towels for 4 people when I went to the desk to get more no one was there waited 15 mins just so they could tell me we have no towels the. Says let me check if we have some for sure then came out with rags RAGS woke up the next morning no toilet paper go to the front desk again another 15-20 mins went to the public restroom and stole some from there so embarrassing never again

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

This property is absolutely disgusting! At first glance it looks very beautiful but once you get a good look it quickly fades away. I had to wait for my room to be cleaned and it was absolutely filthy. This place has roaches everywhere. The tv had a few channels but the remote for the tv was not working. The front desk refused to even take a look at our complaint. The curtains were torn, paint peeling and cracked. The walls were covered in obvious brown stains. The property is not that old to be in this condition. There was no real house keeping staff. The breakfast was an absolute disaster. I made the mistake of not really researching this property and now you don’t have to do the same. This place is not even worth a free stay. This was my first time ever staying at LaQuinta or Wyndham and it will definitely be my last time!!! You have been warned, stay here at your own risk!

I checked in around 11pm and got to the room the first light was flickering and went ti put some food in the fridge and notice there was a half drank DQ glass of old milk shack.. the next afternoon the maintenance guy showes up around 3pm to check the bulb.. but I was already on my way out to check out.. Not a good experience..

There was no continental breakfast. We had 3 rooms for 2 nights and were told that if we needed the rooms cleaned we had to request it. From the outside it seemed pretty nice, but inside it had a musky smell and all of the furniture were extremely outdated and noticeably used. Would not recommend and feel like the website was false advertisement.

Too many flaws 💔

Stayed 2 nights (2 sep. bookings, didn't know I'd need 2 stay again - KING Suite both times). ~1st booking: got in super late & went straight 2 bed w/out noticing much; in the morn, found dirty socks on floor - next 2 couch (how did Rm Serv miss it?), broken TV remote & hair dryer was beyond disgusting. Ugghhh...!!! ~2nd booking: got in late again (Fri N - Sat M); Again, a king suite... *1st room had broken lock (SAFETY), requested 2B moved; was then reprimanded for 'touching the room', like I knew I'd have 2 unpack & re-pack my toiletries and PJs. *2nd room (downgrade 2 a reg King) had a broken Heater - Rm was @55-60° (Fr arrival 'til moved AGAIN - 1hr later); currently have a cold. *3rd room (downgrade AGAIN, 2 a reg double bed) had it's own issues; phone was broken (No 911 calls if you're cell is dead), broken lamp USB charging port, broken TV remote & toilet seat felt lose & unstable. ~Saturday morn, went down right B4 9a (posted breakfast hrs were 'til 10a) and found everything shut down... I questioned employee & he said "it was closed - only wknds 'til 10", I clarified it was a SATURDAY, he then said "his wife had started too early that day". He reopened after more guests arrived & got upset. Ugghhh...!!! *After ALL the inconveniences - BOTH nights, not 1 apology nor customer retention attempt was made (with any discount nor incentive) for any possible future booking from the hotel; Sadly hotels.com doesn't attempt remedies either. Overall BAD Business! Can't add pix.

The lady that was then when we arrived was not the most pleasant. On the phone as a personal call with an ear bud whole time. Didn’t seem to want to answer my questions. Then just started blabbing info 90 miles an hr where no one would even know what she is saying. Also when I put the address in it was not coming up as the right location. So not sure if that was a hotel thing or map issue.

We planned a weekend trip to San Antonio and booked 3 nights into this hotel. Hotel is sandwiched between 2 truck stops. On fisrt glance, it appeared tidy and clean. We were greeted by the desk clerk and quickly received our room. The room was ok. There were empty plastic bags left in the dresser and a foil candy wrapper in the bathroom cubby. The shower is starting to get red around the grout, but it worked well. The breakfast was ok. Ran out of things quickly, but restocked in a yimely manner. We did not use the rec facilities. We booked 3 nights, only srayed 2. Wasnt because of the hotel, but didnt feel like we were losng out.

This stay was an absolute disaster. The room was dirty, there was a hole in the ceiling, the comforter was dirty. The first female at the counter was rude, both room keys didn’t work. We came back to the hotel and the front deck clerk (male) was sleep on the couch. We asked for additional towels (only one set in the room) and after about 10 minutes he comes back with pool towels and said he couldn’t find any. The shower was full of mold. We will never stay at the brand in the future!

RUN AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY!

This was the worst hotel stay I've ever had. This hotel as a property and as staff and ownership was a horrible representation of LaQuinta as a brand. Admittedly I don't stay at LaQuinta properties much if at all, but it is because of experiences like this. The room was horrible and smelt like wet dog. I couldn't sit on any chairs because they had visible stains and smelt horrible, the shower was horrible, internet took over an hour to connect. Just a bad experience. I was tricked because the pictures are of a lobby but its not finished and this is an old hotel that they are upgrading the lobby area only not the hotel. As soon as you get off thw first floor and come off the elevator its like 2 different properties. Not only will I never stay here again, I will not stay at a La Quinta property again. I travel over 200 days a year and am a platinum or gold member with most major chains and have an amazing membership with Hotels.com so Im not a novice with hotels, And I never write reviews but this was awful. Lastly when I requested a late check out, because online it states check out is at noon, which was one reason I booked them, I was told in order to get a 12 noon check out it would be a $100 late check out fee. I have never heard of such a thing especially in a hotel that advertised a noon check and was now refusing to honor it without try to charge me $100 in addition to the rate. LA Quinta should really vet its franchisees. So much more I could say but bu now you get the

From bad to worst…

Im not one to be putting bad reviews but this one. Im just trying to let everyone know how our night stay went.. At the entrance just for starters a cockroach just by the entrance mat.. a few steps in the lobby a drag of hairs… not to say that was just the beginning.. got in the room it was humid and allergies started to kick in… tried turning on the lamp didn’t work said okay maybe it is un plug went ahead and checked never should I have done that.. took a picture couldn't believe how dirty it was… not to say the curtain its self at our window was full of mold and just no good.. we had already booked for only one night and it was really late after driving 10 hrs non stop to get to this.… Enough said… My family and myself would never stay there again…

Great breakfast

The rooms are clean. Pillows are small but they have four of them on the bed. Had to ask for a TV remote, could not call the front desk for it because the phone did not work. But still a good place to stay. It had the best breakfast that I have seen in a long time in a hotel.

Stayed 2 days. Roach in our room 219. Lobby and hallway needed to be mopped. Second floor hallway was not vacuumed the whole time we were there because there was trash on the floor that was never cleaned up. The hallway had a musty smell. Wont be staying there again which sucks because wr always stayed there when we went to San Antonio

The hallways were hot and smelly. There were no towels per person in each room and the keys to the room didn’t work consistently. We had to wait for towels to be washed before we could get any. The bathtub was not clean. There was no body wash in the bathroom. We liked being cost to the freeway.

Mediocre but okay

When we arrived we had a little bit of trouble checking in. We reserved two rooms and one room had mold on the ceiling so we had to be moved to another room. The other room had dents on the walls, dark and dirty streaks on the walls and a curtain that was broken that wouldn’t stay closed so I had to keep fixing it to where no one could see in through the window. The shower/tub was also not cleaned well.At the end of our stay during checkout they tried to charge us for the dents in the walls because the maid said that she cleaned the room and that it wasn’t there before but I had taken pictures to prove that we did not do that to the room. In the end they did not charge us extra.
