Very clean & well maintained. Great breakfast quality choices. Nice 24 hr. Coffee bar in the lobby & if you time it right you can get a complimentary cookie or two. Pool area could use some lounges.

Right from checking in front desk receptionist very friendly and helpful very clean hotel room was amazing and the free breakfast was delicious

The gentlemen that did our check in, really nice and friendly, I forgot his name but did a quick and fast check in. Also to the ladies who worked at the kitchen amazing breakfast and they are so sweet.

I love the place location the area and the staff personal they're all helpful and friendly.

The most friendly and professional service! Such an easy relaxed check in. Clean and comfortable beyond expectation. The front desk host Valerie was such a delightful young lady and made me believe that great customer service still exists! The housekeeping staff as well. Really a great experience staying here.

Wonderful Hotel

It was only 1 night. However, I will stay again. It was a very nice hotel.

I like the location of the hotel. It is in a safe part of the city and close to restaurants and shopping. The entire staff is very friendly and helpful.

The best all around

Very nice place to stay. The best Laquinta I have ever stayed. Everything is like new. The staff were all friendly the breakfast was one of the best. The ladies doing the breakfast also were very nice and seem to enjoy their job. The bartender in the evenings was very nice and she was knowledgeable of the area and gave us a lot of helpful ideas.

I would definitely stay again in the future.

Everything was very nice. One problem came when we decided to stay an extra night, the front desk clerk said he couldn't give us a price for it.??? So we booked another hotel in the area that was a competitor for that one night.

The hotel had dirty bed i needed to hospitalize my wife of some kind of bed bugs. Hope hotel do something about this situation.

Beds are a little on the harder side but my partner loved it. Breakfast has a great selection. Clean room and air conditioning was great.

Our shower was clogged. When we told front desk they tried to get us into another room but it was dirty and their was hairs all over restroom. Very disappointing experience.

Very clean, great service, quiet, just all around awesome!!!

We frequently stay at this particular La Quinta at Convention Center. We were coming in late for a funeral and my family was extremely tired. Upon entering our room, we were met with an awful stench that I can only compare to cat urine from multiple cats… not 1. There was a failed attempt to mask the smell with fragrance. I immediately went down to the reception area and the attendant was polite but said there was nothing she could do since my particular room style was not available. She handed me a can of Febreeze. So disappointed but unbelievably too tired to try to reason with her. She apologized again. We tried to just sleep but it was nauseating. Thank goodness we were only staying overnight. On a positive note, the breakfast was fresh and hot which is why I gave it 3 stars and not 2. Sadly, we will not be staying at La Quinta again.

This seems to be a hotel that has many women who are utilizing this for hourly stays. Not very appeasing to a young traveler who cares about safety.

No issues everything was perfect and the room had such a nice smell to it.

The hotel lobby was very clean and smelled lovely at entering. The rooms were spacious, clean and smelled fresh as well with detail paid to the corners some hotels seem to miss. The bed was comfortable and they had extra fluffy pillows. Air conditioner was so cold which was a nice break from Texas heat and the breakfast was delicious. Best free breakfast in a hotel that I've ever experienced. The pool looked nice but we skipped that and headed to Padre instead so maybe next time as we will be back for sure! Lovely hotel.

As usual, La Quinta has the best accommodations and we’ll keep using them.

The breakfast at this place was amazing! The hotel has a free shuttle and happy hour every evening, with a free drink included per guest. Roger and Arturo were very nice & helpful.

Great location and staff. The downside was that the room had a particular smell. Overall a good experience.

Loved staying here. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I have ever had. The bar was an added bonus. Close to everything. My husband and I stayed here on a bird watching trip. Close to coffee and McAllen nature center which was a previously undiscovered gem.

Staff is welcoming and efficient. The bartender on Monday night was wonderful and couldn't have been more welcoming. The room was immaculate, and front desk staff replaced our blow dryer right away when ours didn't work. Outstanding tamales at breakfast. Great job, staff!

The breakfast was good and staff was friendly. Beds were uncomfortable and shower was not operational in the bathtub. Pillows were not up to normal LaQuinta standards
