The photo does not match the run down hotel, the elevators don’t work and the cleaning staff does not clean your room, not once finnaly the heater did not work, so pass this property

Under construction 🚧 so elevator was not working. So they didn’t let us use it and stairs doors were locked because they were emergency doors only.. we had our room all the was up to 7th so we have to take our luggage all the way up to the 7th floor through the stairs.. next morning I saw the elevator working m, so I asked can we use it and they said no (clerk) and we saw other clients with luggages using it!!!! Yea I was not happy. I felt discriminated!!!

The elevator was out of service in the parking structure that they charge $45/night and the staff didn’t inform us and we had to walk late at night down the ramp 3 levels with a baby and luggage. The hotel was under construction which was not stated on their website so there was no lobby, small walkway to get to the hotel elevators which were also on the fritz and opened at every floor on their own, so they took forever to get through the 10 stories up and down before returning to the lobby. Also since under construction their breakfast consisted of a bagged to go breakfast that had a mini water bottle, small juice cup, apple and mini muffin. The parking was difficult to get into since it is off a busy road and not much room for cars to pull into and pull out their luggage. Only enough room for two cars so you have to wait on the busy street for the people in front to finish and move their cars. And they only had two washcloths in the room so you have to request more, which was more of an annoyance. Sketchy activity just across the street at the very busy McDonald’s (which was the only place for food and coffee nearby)

My say good however we only got a apple for breakfast the elevators ware not working properly and there was a lot of construction as well as I felt like in case of an emergency the stairs beeded to. Be available and they were not due to construction i was getting anxiety throughout my stay due to that

Property was under construction, with so many renovations going on during our quick 1 night stay. Multiple elevators out of service. Having to bring all of my family's luggage up and down several flights of stairs was not ideal. On top of that, the regular elevators to the rooms were so slow, and for whatever reason stopping at every single floor, going both up and down, making it atrocious just to get back to my room. Speaking of which, my 2 room suite that I booked that said was available online, was all for a sudden not available due to the construction. So as a "courtesy", the staff did not charge me for parking, which I was unaware of when I booked anyways. Only 2 out of 10 floors had ice machines working, and with the ridiculous elevator situation literally stopping at every floor, it was impossible to get ice. I was not happy at all with my stay, and will never consider this property again.

We had a terrible experience here. The noise level was wild my kids couldn't sleep, the toilet clogged up so fast, there were hair in the bathroom (the tub, the ceiling, and floor) when we arrived, crumbs all over the carpet and dirty when we arrived, the elevator stopped at every floor and caused my child to have an accident since she wasn't able to get to the room promptly, we asked the cleaning lady for more towels and she refused. she said it has to be requested and that we had to go downstairs before we can get any, the elevator was shaking and making weird noises, and we didn't feel safe. never again. the pictures did not match the place at all.

The hotel is under renovation, the elevator in the parking lot is not working, and only one elevator in the hotel is working, and there are people taking drugs in the parking lot.

They did not specified about the parking fees, and the breakfast was terrible.

Horrible is an understatement!!!! Nowhere did it say that the building was under construction. So no lobby! There breakfast was in a brown paper bag. Which contains apple, apple juice, muffin and a water. What in the world is that????? When I parked upstairs because there was no more handicaps parking down stairs the elevator didn’t work to go down from the second garage. My bag was missing and my the front desk had it the whole time sitting behind the counter and the worker said I had to talk to a manager the next morning. Mind u the morning employee handed it to me and said it’s been sitting here all night. The toilet has no pressure where I had to flush 3 or 4 times for anything to go down. It was a horrible experience. They need to just close it down till it gets done!!!

Overcharging for parking

When we arrived we were shocked to learn that we were going to be charged $49 for parking per night. Hotel restaurant was under construction, the breakfast in the morning was not how we expected. A brown bag full of crap, not the hot breakfast that we thought.no extra roll of toilet paper in room.

Room had non working lights coffee maker no shampoo. Disabled parking I needed only three available because they are storing boxes on the spots. Therefore I didn't get to use a handicap spot. The free breakfast is a joke. We got a apple a juice a muffin that was bland in a bag. Fifty dollars for parking beware. TV doesn't get much channels either. Expressed my concerns to mgr I'm sorry we will be a Hilton in one month the response. Overall not a good stay for the price on a Christmas Eve

Everything was just ok. Lots of additional fees that are not listed when booking. Shady area; there was a car that was broken into overnight in the parking garage. Breakfast was served in bags. You can hear all of the traffic in the room. Room could’ve been cleaner and the beds and pillows were not as comfortable as other hotels. I wouldn’t come back.

My staff at LaQuinta is usually really good. Rooms clean, new towels, and breakfasts. Since LaQuinta is under construction at this location there’s no breakfast, house keeping is a requested service and they missed my room after I requested service. Parking cost $45 per day but the gate was opened day and night so anyone could’ve parked there. Hopefully after Construction is complete things will go back to normal

Enough is enough

Three times this year I’ve stayed at the La Quinta. All three times have been horrible. First time no internet. Had to move over to HI. Second and third times under construction with no advance notice. No full breakfast, no lounge, no dining. That’s enough for me!

My stay was disappointing due to ongoing construction at the property. Additionally, my suite was flooded, and I did not receive a refund for that night, forcing us to stay in a standard room instead. The following morning, while a suite was finally available, having to move during our short stay was a significant inconvenience. This experience did not meet my expectations.

WRONG ROOM

First of all, when i checking front desk gave a wrong room was already booked so surprised enter and it was an old person sitting at wheelchair since that moment i was very closed to leave to another hotel but they re-located me

Pésimo hotel, jamás volvería. Nos hospedamos en la Quinta por la cercanía al aeropuerto y porque tenía desayuno incluído. Llegamos a media noche y nuestro carro no entraba al parqueo por ser un carro tipo Van, eso sí nos cobraron $45 y taxes de parqueo y estacionamos la Van en la calle. El hotel está en construcción, desordenado, sucio con homeless afuera del hotel. El transporte al aeropuerto te cobran una tarifa de $10, así que no lo incluye la tarifa que se paga. El desayuno era un grab to go y no un desayuno incluído (un muffin y agua). En conclusión me cobraron $72 de adicionales más la tarifa de expedia por un hotel sucio, con ese dinero hubiera pagado un mejor hotel porque al final fue carísimo y no valió la pena. Hospedamos 2 adultos y 2 niños.

Shuttle info is wrong. We waited 50 mins for it.

Hotel has the wrong information on their recorded message about the airport shuttle. It states their van is marked La Quinta. We waited a half hour for the La Quinta van to no avail. After listening to the message several time I called and spoke to the front ask to find out the shuttle is actually run by a parking lot company, not marked La Quinta but marked Airport Spectrum, a van that already passed us. We ended up having to wait another 30 minutes which meant we waited more than 50 minutes for a pick up outside in the cold at night. I told the front desk their shuttle message is wrong and basically they told me, “yeah, we know.” They seemed to really not care. We’d already been informed they under construction via an email the day before. Piss poor service, and fix that damn message asap. Your guests deserve better than this. Never never never again. Don’t book this place. If you do expect a construction site, and check with a human being about their shuttle service and who is actually picking you up at LAX.

Great customer service! Quiet and clean

We waited at the airport for the hotel shuttle for 2 hours. Two shuttles passed us but didn't stop. One stopped but the driver said he was full. Finally gave up and ordered a Lyft. Directions for finding the shuttle were not clear. We were told to get the shuttle outside baggage claim. Wrong floor - the shuttle stop was on the second floor and not right outside baggage claim. We finally found someone who worked at LAX who told us we were waiting on the wrong floor. That was before we waited in the correct spot for 2 hours. As to the hotel itself, it was ok. The bathroom looked like it was not quite finished. There were several brackets that looked like they were supposed to hold a shelf but there was no shelf. The beds were fine and clean.

We were disappointed that it was not disclosed on the website that several amenities were closed due to renovations. We did get an email a couple days before check-in that a grab & go bag was being offered instead of breakfast buffet as that area was under renovation. The message did not mention that the Gym & pool were also closed due to renovation which we did not find out about until the day after check-in.

Noisy place

We had to leave this hotel because of the smell and not clean. It should be the last option you have after the park bench. Would NOT recommend to anyone

The security guard was great! He helped us with holding our bags and was so nice. Outside that the staff was very unfriendly and communication was horrible between night and day staff. Ask for towels at checkin no towels asked to be shuttled to the airport no arrangement had been communicated the next morning. The morning grab and go breakfast was being handed out like an elementary school lunch line with the staff telling me just one please. Really! I wanted to grab one for my husband who is on the reservation. I will not be staying at a La Quinta in the future.

This information was not disclosed on your website, and as a guest, I find this omission misleading. I strongly urge you to: Update your website to clearly inform potential guests about the ongoing refurbishment. Remove or accurately describe the "breakfast" option to avoid further confusion or disappointment for future guests. I hope you take this feedback into consideration to improve transparency and guest satisfaction moving forward. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Great place to stay close to the airport but was under construction/renos! Elevator from parkade did not work due to Reno’s. Lobby was super small and draped in tarps. Carry and go breakfast was available from 7 on. None of this was noted while booking/reserving. Would have been great to know instead of unloading car, then reloading to drive back dow to find front and unload again since elevator from parkade to lobby didn’t work. Room was newly renovated and very nice! Clean and bright.

Property under construction/renovation, but didn’t find out until after booking. Construction was really just a medium issue. Bigger issue was uncomfy bed & pillows. Staff was super nice.

Ghetto as hell, they need more updated pictures of the interior of the hotel. Everything was in shambles, the elevators were literally falling apart on the inside and felt super unsafe. Their super expensive $45 a day parking lot didnt even have a working elevator, so after paying hella money to even park you had to haul all your luggage down the parking garage. WHICH ISNT EVEN CONNECTED TO THE HOTEL LOL. You have to walk outside on the street, which is not a good part of town, to get inside the building. The hotel is also located nearby a freeway overpass which has plenty of homeless underneath to greet you as you walk into the hotel. Not to mention, the “buffet style” complimentary breakfast did not even exist at the property when I was there, some BS. I ended up not even staying the night at this hotel and being charged for my 1 day stay as well as 1 day parking fee. Pretty much a scam.

They didn't say when i was booking hotel how expensive is parking. Another shock was breakfast. When you booking there is picture with full warm breakfast. But reality was they give us muffin and apple on the doors. I'm really disappointed

A lot of construction during the day and it sounded like someone was banging on the walls. Very noisy. The elevators in the parking garage were broke and the doorway to the stairs was locked. To get out of the parking garage we sat there for about five minutes each time because it was broke and we had to wait for them to let us out. The rooms were clean. When we first booked, it stated they had a pool, but they do not.

The hotel was in major renovation , garbage bags everywhere in the ‘’lobby’’ , no gym restaurant or pool, very noisy elevator, dirty sheets , etc etc and very expensive i do not recommend at all!!

The hotel was under maintenance in the lobby so it was not a nice site to see, otherwise everything was perfect!

Hotel is under construction, so the actual hot real breakfast they had has turned into a sack snack. The parking fees are crazy $50 per day, the elevators need redoing. Overall, this is a cozy, clean, mild noise place to stay.

Horrible hotel

Stay was horrendous, first off the place was being remodeled, you guys charge for breakfast and gave out a poor excuse for breakfast picture will be bellow, there was no besides the room, there was only one creamer and one sugar with a dirty coffee maker. Restrooms were not stocked with new items or enough toilet paper. Parking was an additional $45 a night should be included with stay, if so many changes are happening with the place close it down for a while until your able to run it properly

I was not aware of construction on property. I picked this hotel for two specific reasons because it had a pool and the pool was closed and for the complimentary breakfast being advertised at 6am. Upon checking in due to construction the pool was closed and restaurant closed. Breakfast would be 7am take away. I asked if any accommodations could be made in regards to breakfast and the only thing offered was early check in which was nice but not what I expected. Alao the shuttle to the airport was confusing as we were told every half hour. I needed a 6am shuttle and it did not show up. We were there at 555am and waited until 620am and took an Uber. The front desk said they don't have communication with shuttle driver.The hotel looks like it will be nice when completed but had I known about construction and limited hours and amenities I would have stayed somewhere else.

It’s LA so everything is within 30 minutes due to it being spread out. Conveniently located near airport and shopping.

I booked a couple of months ago then was informed less than a week before arrival that there was construction work going on in the hotel in the restaurant. One of the reasons I booked was due to the free breakfast. The ‘grab and go’ breakfast provided in its place was atrocious. A tasteless apple which I took one bite of then threw away, a blueberry muffin (that was ok), a tiny carton of orange and a minuscule bottle of water. If I’d have known sooner that work was going on I would’ve paid more to stay in the Westin where I normally stay for a conference. I won’t be staying there next year!!

Rooms were clean. Coffee pot in room was not stocked. My 16 yr old daughter got stuck in the garage elevator. They also didn’t work at times. Disappointed the breakfast was a sack with apple juice, a muffin, Apple sauce. And an apple. I booked the room because it offered breakfast, kept it because they said it would be handed out. Could of been a little more appetizing

Bad service

The hotel is still under renovations, but that does not justify the bad service; when I made the booking, I made some requests for my room location, and when I got to the hotel, I informed the receptions about my prior request.  She completed the check-in process without any comments regarding my request, she gave me my room key and sent me on my way, only to find out that it was a noise room located on the lower floor, which was not what I requested. Not the kind of service I was expecting from a LAX airport hotel. I probably will not book this hotel again. 

I understand that the hotel is under construction, but they started working at 6:30am with power tools. Could they not wait till maybe 8:00?

Parking too expensive and terrible choice for continental breakfast

This place has major construction going on they should not be allowed to even be open while they renovate. Trashy, plastic, dust every where , they advertise breakfast that placed smelled I wouldn't want to eat. still 150 dollar hold. 45 dollars for parking! ridiculous the elevator in parking garage didn't even take you in to the hotel.

The property was under construction but we were not notified until we booked the hotel. The only access to the parking lot was through the elevator which was not working! We had to walk through the outside of the hotel to access the parking lot! There was no breakfast due to construction. Pictures were deceiving.

The service was terrible, no breakfast, and charging $10.00 for shuttles. While waiting for the shuttle in the morning, there are no chairs while waiting for the shuttle.

Parking is extremely high based on the remodeling conditions of the hotel is about 45 to 50 dollars per night, it ahould be free due to the remodeling process.

When we arrived, we were told that they were under construction so there was no dining room, pool, fitness room lobby or breakfast being served. The workers were actively working on our floor so there was plastic taped down on the carpet, billowing and creating a tripping hazard, room numbers written on pieces of paper and taped to the wall etc. They shouldn't be open until the construction is complete

Terrible place under Reno’s. Absolutely disgusting. Only positive was that our room was newly renovated. We were directed to a holding area in the parking lot while our room was being cleaned. No amenities there. Even the washrooms were porta potty’s. Breakfast was cancelled and even coffee wasn’t available. I could go on but what’s the point

It would be nice to know that parking isn’t included in your stay. $46 a night is a lot, but could have potentially been an oversight on my part. We weren’t notified until a few days before our reservation that they were undergoing renovations. If i would’ve known sooner then i would’ve found elsewhere. The only nice thing was the convenience of this location. If you include the $92 in parking for the weekend and paying to eat breakfast somewhere else I would’ve paid the extra $$$ to go stay at another hotel. :/

Things were under construction and that caused a litany of issues. Staff still charged me for parking, even though the parking services were broken and required assistance or extended wait times or blocked entrances. Check in was late for me and many other guests and there was no direct access anywhere

I was not aware that the hotel was doing reservations. There were reservations being done when we were staying at the hotel. Expedia did not make note of this when booking the room. I also was charged $45 for parking. Our room was very small.

The staff was kind and helpful. The property was under renovation at the time of my stay. Despite that the rooms and hallways were clean. Not all the elevators were functioning, including the ones in the parking garage. We were informed at the time of our checkin that parking was $45 a day which was not disclosed prior. So be aware of that when booking. I would definitely stay here again, but definitely park elsewhere

I am frequent to many la quintas but this one was awe full. Very poor service. No hot breakfast like in other la quinta hotels.

Right next door to McDonald's, and there's a very close pizza place too. Rooms have refrigerators to help keep the wallet from getting empty.

They charge you $50 for parking/night which is ridiculous and the property itself is not as nice as what you see in the pictures!

Poor La Quinta Hotel near LAX

Did not know about construction renovation of the hotel. I booked this due to breakfast included. They did not offer the take away breakfast and could not even print a receipt of my charges bill as printer was broken. Promised to email me a copy. Still no receipt as yet.

NFL weekend in LA

Good stay. Near LAX but quieter that i thought i would be! Room was great.

The property is getting a much needed facelift. The room was noisy. bathtub had a problem draining, and most annoying the charging unit between the beds turned off during the night. The staff was Great!

My 2nd time to book La Quinta Inn for a lay over before the flight. The lobby was under renovation this time around. But the staff was helpful. Rooms were nice and clean. They have free shuttle to and from the airport.

Stop lying to people and informing them three days prior to showing up that there is no restaurant no bar and all the construction that I could hear from my room the entire time I was in it!
