Great location

Front desk gave great recommendation on restaurant literally next door to the hotel. It was our best meal in Budapest! Room is spacious and looks just like the photos

Bad service.

The breakfast was excellent. For a non smoking hotel, the hallways and common spaces smelt Smokey.

Just ok

It's an ok hotel. Size was good. Breakfast was pretty dismal compared to other European hotels we have stayed at. Bed was comfy and clean, fan in bathroom was annoying and one elevator with that many people working was annoying. Good location in the middle of everything.

A fantastic hotel at a reasonable price; centrally located within a walk of less than 30 minutes to major sites, lots of shopping and restaurants. Great breakfast buffet with hot and cold options. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The tub is quite deep so I would not recommend that style of room to someone with mobility issues. One area that could be improved would be brighter lighting in the bathroom.

First room was smelling of smoke - this was changed quickly. 507 drainage from shower was poor for top floor.

Whole experience staying at La Prima was horrible…i changed room twice due smelling and bathroom wete horrible.,, property desperately needs renovation….its 2 star NOT 4 stars.as well carpets smelled…for the price… Please dont book this place for the rate .

Quirky central hotel

Really lovely hotel staff. As a 4 star we expected a higher spec. The shower flooded which they sorted very quickly but even the shower head didn't behave. No English TV channels weirdly integrated in a mirror. Lighting quite dark. Definite positive interaction with all staff. Very central.

Good location, but they don’t change the fitting sheet. The bathtub is so tall that it's so hard to get in / out.

Great location!!

Generally friendly staff and breakfast was decent. Best part was the location. A block away from Vaci Street and about two blocks from the Danube river. Walking distance from most sights and the Metro.

Excellent small hotel

Excellent small hotel conveniently located. Room was a modest size with a comfortable king bed, closet space, writing table, coffee maker (just 2 complimentary servings). Bathroom was relatively spacious (shower stall) and clean. Breakfast was included and outstanding. Staff were all friendly and helpful. An excellent small hotel. Would stay there again.

La Prima Fashion Hotel is a lovely Hotel in a great location. Situated in a great area with plenty of eating places close by. Also close to Metro and Hop on Hop off Bus stop. Staff were very helpful

Excellent location for getting around by foot, metro, or tram. Very close to river. Staff very helpful in making recommendations or reservations. Breakfast was good with eggs, meat, breads, juices, cold cuts, yogurt. One area of improvement is need for a second coffee machine. Usually a line to get coffee.

overall hotel is good by staff aren't no so friendly. Hard to control room temperature and bathrooms are way very small. Good location.

The hotel was very clean, the room was small but comfortable, the shower is very small, you can barely move inside, we had bad smell coming out from the toilet and the elevator panel was broken, so we had to use the stairs most of the time. Overall we had a pleasant time.

This hotel is at a great location and is good value. Staff are friendly and although rooms are a little “tired” and could use renovation they are ok for the time being.

This hotel is a good location and very walkable however it is very old and dated.

Hotel is lovely. Comfy beds, and exceptionally helpful staff. Breakfast space could be a bit bigger, especially given how busy the hotel was when we were there. The shower doesn’t always have hot water especially at peak periods in the morning. Generally very good though.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Location was superb and very convenient to walk around, shopping and dinning. The breakfast was vey nice with some change everyday (we stayed 4 days). The room facilities may need to be improved. We had to ask reception to get the lights changed (2 out of 3 hall lights broken, 1 out 2 bedside lights broken) also shower drainage got blocked each time when taking a shower ...

Conveniently located near F&B outlets as well as shops. Close to bus, subway and tram stations. Good breakfast with friendly staff. Could have provided daily bottled water though we appreciate the complimentary coffee capsules and water on the first night.

Great location and great hotel.

Visited primarily to go to the Christmas markets. Location was perfect and a short walk to the two main markets. Walked over the nearby bridge to visit the Buda side of the city and all the attractions. Got a taxi to the Szechenyi Spa (thermal pools), but decided to walk back after as it wasn’t too far (2 miles maybe). I also bought the tickets for the spa at the hotel and worked out good value for money and was able to gain access without any queuing.

Perfect venue in Pest

Family weekend trip - hotel was 2 minutes from Elizabeth Bridge so really well placed for transport,walking,eating out etc.Hotel very nice indeed - we had 2 rooms on 5th floor with inter connecting door - delighted with this Hotel.

Shower drainage issue

Disappointed overall due to problem with shower the first morning there. Maintenance came to room and said issue was fine. In end the housekeeping staff had to come to room, see that the issue was not resolved, then removed the drain filter as a temporary measure. So had to keep filter on shower floor remaining 3 days. No apology for the inconvenience left me disappointed. Aside from that the stay was nice.

Great stay, will come back

Wonderful hotel in the heart of everything. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The facilities are spotless, comfortable and quiet. I only find it disappointing when hotels claim to be environmental and put those stickers in the bathroom about reusing towels, yet the cleaning crew come and change the towels every day. Don't just pretend to be environmental because it's in now, actually do the work!

Centrally located and affordable hotel

Centrally located in the heart of Budapest. The front desk staff was very helpful with bag storage suggestions and directions when we arrived. They also arranged our transition to the airport. The room was very comfortable if a bit dated. We definitely would stay again.

I enjoyed my stay in La Prima Fashion Hotel. The room was nice and clean and also very quiet. The location is unbeatable, in the heart of Budapest, next a touristy pedestrian street. There is no need to use the public transport, you can can walk to majority of attractions from here. The airport shuttle is in a walking distance from the hotel (maximum 10 minutes). There is 24h reception so you can reach out to staff members if required.

Nice location in Pest, only a few blocks to the Danube and Metro/Trams. Clean modern hotel with lots of amenities. Breakfast buffet with lots of food options.

The property entrance and reception area was nice looking and seems to have some other facilities. However, there are areas for improvement.

Lovely hotel right in the central pedestrian area with lots of shopping and restaurants right at the door. My only niggle was that the hand held shower was barely long enough to wash my hair, and I’m only 5’5”! Can’t see how it would work for a tall person.

The room was in worse condition, everything was old and looked used. The towels were look very used and the shower was with problem that the water didn't drain good, we keep telling that to the hotel but I think they couldn't do anything about it. The picture that shows a brand new room is very not as the same as the room shape was.

Wonderful hotel

Great hotel from top to bottom! Our room was spacious and spotless. Wonderful breakfast with lots of choices. But the best part of our stay was the assistance given by the front desk staff. We had a lot of questions and they were great! The location of this hotel is perfect-just a minute walk to public transportation and fabulous restaurants.

Staff were both friendly and helpful, the room/facilities were very nice and the location is ideal for a city break. Also the included baggage storage on checkout day was very useful.

Amazing breakfast

Great hotel in the heart of Budapest. It was a bit more expensive than I planned, but I think breakfast easily made it worthwhile. It was absolutely amazing, both choices of food and quality. They even had mimosas! Highly recommended.

It’s the second time we are staying at this hotel. It has a great location being right on the city center square. You can walk to mostly all the places from the hotel. We were upgraded for free due to being Expedia vip member. However when we arrived there was no availability hence they upgraded us from the second night. The breakfast is included on the price which makes buying this hotel worth the price even though the breakfast it’s not that rich but ok with basics. Will definitely stay there again when in Budapest and will recommend It to friends and family.

I really appreciate the staff, and loved staying there.

Um bom hotel no centro de Peste

Localizado no centro de Peste, em rua ao lado da rua de pedestres, é um hotel muito bem localizado, em volta de tudo que é tipo de atração, transporte, restaurante, loja e serviço. O check-in foi rápido, com atendentes fluentes em inglês e solícitos, servido por 2 elevadores. O saguão é simples e divide o espaço com um bar, que não usei. Me foi dado um upgrade de quarto em função do aplicativo de reservas, o Hoteis.com. A suíte tinha tamanho um menor do que esperava – afinal, era um upgrade, com armário, mesa de trabalho e demais equipamentos, todos funcionando, limpo e arrumado. O banheiro era de tamanho proporcional e básico, sem ducha higiênica ou bidê. Ele ficava voltado para o edifício lateral por isso era silencioso. O café da manhã é servido em estilo buffet, muito completo e de boa qualidade. Notei que ainda há uma sala com equipamentos de ginástica e outra para trabalho e equipada com computador. Assim, ele é um hotel completo, mesmo não sendo uma instalação grande. Seu preço não é barato, mas compatível com sua qualidade e os custos desta parte da cidade, que possui hotéis de boas redes e, nas pesquisas que fiz quando contratei, eram bem mais caros. Por esta comparação eu o recomendo.

Fabulous location at great value, rooms large enough and comfortable, some may find the mattress hard but personal choice. Couple of easy maintenance fixes required. Breakfast buffet ok when busy the staff struggle to keep up with demand.

+ Very friendly staff + Proximity to popular walking streets and public transport + Proximity to good restaurants - poor spread of breakfast - include tea option in room along with coffee - replace old fittings, broken or rusted - poor room lighting - toiletries replenishment

I had to ask to change the bed sheets and give us a soap as they did not do this until you ask. Also, the hotel stinks. The stuff were very nice and friendly. The breakfast was good, they even has champagne. But this hotel is not a 4-star hotel. Maybe 3-stars.

Good location

Nice location, and a ok hotel. The bed was a bit hard, and try to stay away from rooms at the first floor; the windows are small and only going from the floor and to waist heigh which makes the room feel even smaller and dark. Other than that the room works fine for sleeping in, but are a bit small.

it say it has parking. The parking was over 500m away. That not parking. Hotel parking should be on the site or worst next door.

Breakfast was quite benign. Nothing special really. Just eggs, sausages (where's my bacon?), and breads and yogurts. The coffee tasted pretty good though. The room was very clean but worn out. The shower small for a 4 star hotel. The mirror inside the room is useless — it's so dark you can barely see anything. The refrigerator and safe were a nice addition. The coffee maker was old and dirty, but the coffee tastes great. Our room was definitely not soundproof! We could hear people walking in the hallway all night, and even music once.

fantastic location with bars and restaurants on your doorstop. Walking to major sites was reasonably easy, most within a 15/20 minute walk. staff were very helpful. perhaps more choice at breakfast but still good enough.

Okay for the money.

Hotel generally clean and modern. Bed okay. Breakfast good, except on Saturday staff couldn't replenish quick enough and on Sunday had run out of items. One member of staff in dining room needs to go on hygiene training as watched one member of staff pick up items from the floor and put on worktop instead of putting straight in the bin. Only cold water at busy times. But not very expensive, so maybe pay for what you get.

Hotel in a brilliant location and room was very big. Some of the Reception staff were very abrupt and unhelpful.
