It's a beautiful facility, and the Olympic sized pool is amazing, but our check in was marred because the E-lock on the room door didn't work. After a couple of rounds over an hour we were given an actual key which worked from the outside, but we couldn't lock from inside. More seriously the kitchen let alone the server have no idea what is "gluten free". The chef was "too busy" to come talk to my wife (who has Celiac Disease) so we sent in a detailed written note. Even so, there must have been some cross-contamination or hidden agreement and she was up most of the night with diarrhea. In the morning we were surprised that the prepaid room charge didn't include breakfast, which is usually included at Namibian resorts. The reservation didn't mention breakfast at all - it would be better to say clearly "Breakfast not included". We won't be going back.
Great place to go and rest.. Olympic sized swimming pool that is in great condition.. All in all great place to visit
It was great place to relax and unwind.. So peacful ,the suite was excellent option with a fine living/dining area and nice sun deck.. Bedroom with king size bed and nice toilet facilities ,also had a sun deck .. Excellent all round Cleaners were very polite and did great cleaning job.. Hats off to all..
A very nice, clean resort with lovely stuff. The food at the restaurant was amazing, apart from the breakfast buffet that was underwhelming/disappointing.
The only thing I'm very much disappointed. is that the hotel did not let my guest visit me during my stay.
Very modern large rooms, 50m pool was fabulous.
Excellent facilities. Chalet was top class
Mix up over reservation but otherwise lovely lodge and 50 m pool which was very unexpected!
Pleasant, happy, professional staff and personable staff.
Clean & quite
Great resort. Nice surprise to find this place with green spaces, camping, beautiful Olympic sized pool, laundry facilities, good restaurant and more!! Our villa was spacious, well laid out and very comfortable and clean!
Overall a very special place but would like to see water and coffee machines in the rooms.
Nice place, big lovely rooms with air conditioning, we had a great time
Lovely Modern Resort on route to or from Etosha
This is a lovely resort in Tsumeb. The rooms are clean, modern, well designed and beautifully decorated. A few things that need to be addressed, provide 2 access cards if 2 adults stay as you can only turn on lights, aircon etc if your key card is in the slot. Provide some utensils and dish soap.
Great Place – Poor Rooms (for a family)
We have camped in the past. This time we decided to book a room as a treat for the family. It was an expensive mistake. The room on hotel.com/tripadvisor was advertised as a family room with x2 double beds but the actual bedroom was only suitable for 2 people: 2 chairs, 2 cups, small space etc. We kindly asked to be moved to a bigger room as the room was not advertised accurately. The man on reception was abrupt and unaccommodating. He told us that those bigger rooms were booked out and there was not other option. However no one stayed in those bigger rooms that night - we were watching. The second night they did move us to a bigger room - same size bedroom but with a seperate lounge and self contained kitchen. Had the inconvenience of packing up all our things to be out of first room by 10am, come back after 2pm. This second room was good but of course this could have been organised the day before and we would have been content. The location and facilities are good - but the bedrooms are cramped if squeezing two double beds in them - smaller room as well as bigger room. We also noticed a lack of recent maintenance - soap dispensers broken, plugs missing, doors jamming on opening, TV remotes missing. For the price we would not stay in a room again - even the bigger rooms. They were expensive for what you get. Camping is great , and recommended. You get to use all the resorts facilities (pool, restaurant, park/grass, excellent ablutions) but without the expense of a room
50 year reunion in the North
My wife and I visited the North for a "50 years" re-union held at Grootfontein, and decided to stay at Kupferquelle Resort as a nice treat. We enjoyed the stay, with the restaurant, and also little shopping centre next door where we bought our breakfast "Brötchens" on Sunday morning and enjoyed it with a cup of coffee on our small balcony with a nice outlook on a lovely duck pond. The place was clean and tidy and staff professional.
Nice resort with huge lodges. Clean, spacious and very comfortable. Only issue in Kupferquelle is the dinner options. There are 3 hotels (Incl this resort) where a decent dinner is served. We have been to Hotel Minen, here the diner was awesome and better than Kupferquelle resort.
Gut geschlafen

Everything was nice, but the unit’s floor was not clean. We had to clean it ourselves 😔
