I always stayed here and I love the service
During the dinning not to many options to choose and not too many options for kids
Property is a little outdated. The check in process was smooth. The room had a musty odor and the mattresses were old. I could hear loud and clear the music from the room next to us. Food was average and the most frustrating thing was that we could not make reservations for the Meditereano and El Mortero restaurant. Our group tried to use the website to make reservations, but none were ever available, we could only dine in in the buffet and Las Velas. We tried making reservations with the concierge but unfortunately, we would get the same response that the restaurants did not have availability. We settled to go out to eat around the hotel which was not an issue but it's unfortunate that we could not enjoy a meal at the resort even though we paid for all inclusive. Staff was friendly and the servers would go above and beyond, especially Daniel and Justo.
First time staying at this hotel. Even though they have 3 restaurants and I snack area they are not all open every day so trying to make reservations was always a fail. Restaurants were always booked. Also even though it's all inclusive they don't start serving alcohol until after 11am and they close the bar by 10:45 pm. If you a night person, by 11 pm there is nothing to do. Food is ok but not great.
Very limited drinking options.
It was very good experience for the first time safe and fun 🤗😊👍
Food was limited
Great area
Terrible service in the restaurants
The location is the best! You get the best beachfront and you get the best of the tourist town. Friendly and helpful staff. I would not get the all inclusive next time, since there are so many food and drink options near-by. But the service was fine, and the included options are fine. Having only one beer choice was possibly the worst aspect of the all inclusive. The rest.. not spectacular, but acceptable and practical. The common areas feel small for the amount of people they receive, but again... not a deal-breaker. I had a pleasant stay. I got a free balinese bed for booking with Expedia and some delicious macaroons. That was a nice surprise.
Glad we only booked one night
Overall, I think you got what you paid for here. We only stayed one night. The bartenders were amazing! Rooms were clean and had a great ocean view! My only frustration is that they only offer bottled water In the room. With us only staying one night we didn’t get housekeeping service so we didn’t have anyone to replenish the water bottles. When asking the front desk, they told us they didn’t have any to ask the bar. Then the bar told us to ask the front desk. Basically, after a little bit of a runaround after I talk to another person at the front desk, they said sorry we don’t have any, which is frustrating when you pay for an all inclusive package.
The beach was beautiful. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The beds were super comfortable and the ocean view from our patio was lovely. The food was always fresh and lots of selection. We really loved our vacation despite the poor weather!
everything that was beautiful place and all the stuff works there the best people, respectable ladies and gentlemen for real thank you guys and I see you soon. I will come back.
The beach was beautiful
Good overall experience. Could have had better service at the bars and cleaner rest rooms. Have had better experiences in the Riviera Maya!
Just the elevators in Tower B need to be completely fixed.
Nothing good to say
I love this Hotel, I stayed here for the second time and I would consider staying there again. It has a beautiful beach, and fun places a walking distance. The stuff is very friendly and helpful and the Hotel looks modern and clean. I would recommend this Hotel
The amenities, location, price, and cleanliness were excellent. The food was consistently average- nothing amazing, but it was so nice to not worry about food prices ever. They seemed short staffed getting service by the pool and beach, as it was slow and hard to find someone to take our order. The value you get for the price is worth it though! We would definitely stay again at the price we paid. I highly recommend the balcony rooms on the 8th floor. We paid to upgrade and it was SO worth it! Overall, this is an amazing resort with an amazing price!😁
Everything good
The pool and beach area are top notch , the bed was super uncomfortable, lots of noise from the surrounding area at night, food was just okay… only two small bar areas on property so getting a drink sometimes took forever, for the all inclusive package there was no alcohol in the rooms and a charge of 70 pesos each to bring canned drinks back to your room , I would honestly not go back but if I did I wouldn’t purchase the all inclusive package , so many restaurants and stores around and fairly cheap , I only eat once or twice a day so it was not worth it in my mind
Had a wonderful visit
some maintenance issues, we reported and were solved right away
This is my 4th time at this property. Love the beach. The food is great.
The location was great, the condition was OK, the bedding was good, the staff was very helpful and friendly. The buffets were horrible. You could tell that they were economizing on everything. Wow Every place I’ve ever stayed in Cancun has had the offering of individual yogurt servings. Their bread was dry and unedible There was no breakfast meat no bacon no ham nothing like that what they had was turkey hotdogs sliced up into grease balls that were served cold. You could tell that they were not spending any money on the buffet. It was all cheap. Five entrées offered three of them were potatoes, orange juice that’s watered down sour cream that’s watered down dressings for salad that’s water down. They thin everything out and they think we don’t notice The fact that they don’t have bacon or sausage or anything on their breakfast buffet starts your day out knowing that everything is going to be really cheap we spent $1800 and some change for six nights and the food was horrible unless you were able to book into one of the Restaurants. Every bit of food was substandard high fat not much effort put into cooking it. You can disguise cheap cuts of meat and food if it’s prepared, nice but three choices of potatoes for breakfast, highly disappointed and feel cheated.
Perfect
amazing beach and view
Great staff
They had roaches and we booked luxury suit wasn’t nothing luxury about it
Sales guys went way overboard trying to sell us a timeshare, rude
Very good
I enjoyed everything. It was wonderful. .
There was a sewer order in the entire lobby the entire time. Elevators were broken. No hot water one day. I do not think we will ever go back or recommend that place. I paid a lot of money for all inclusive and there were limits and the buffet was not good.
We had issues with hot water every time we took a shower, poor pressure and water was coming in cold and warm, sometimes completely nothing.
friendly staff
I liked the location really convenient to the beach with a beautiful view. The property is outdated and needs to do some renovations. We did not like the food that was offered in the buffet.
In general we had a pretty good vacation. Our room was great with a perfect ocean view. Bathroom could use work but had hot water. Beach is perfect there. Loud music from all night new years party.... Signing tickets for every meal though all inclusive was confusing and annoying.. likely it's done for tips.... If you give one do it in Pesos and right pesos. Lobby was nice. The best part of hotel is service staff. They are really helpful and hard working. Entertainment is minimal if there is any. Food is good for a few days but doesn't really change much and you get tired of it. Do a day trip to get away.
Great place
Everything was close by, very close to the beach.
Smell humidity,
The resort was very nice it definitely has the nicest beach in Cancun. The food was a bit lacking tho unfortunately. The drinks were good except on the last 2 days they did not have syrup for the drinks. Other than that I would recommend specially for the price
I recently stayed at this hotel in Cancun for seven days, and I have to say, I was quite disappointed overall. While the room offered an amazing view—probably the best you can find in Cancun—the rest of the experience left a lot to be desired. First, the elevator was out of service for a couple of days, which was extremely frustrating. Guests were left waiting over 20 minutes for the elevator, and at one point, we had to use the stairs to get to the 7th floor and back down. Second, the service was not up to par. I called four times to request a bath towel, and they never brought it. I ended up waiting to take a shower, but it never came. The food was just okay—nothing impressive—but the servers were friendly and hardworking, which I appreciated. Another plus was the hotel’s proximity to downtown Cancun; it’s only a 5-minute walk, which is convenient. However, the hotel itself is very old and outdated. While the location and view are definite highlights, the overall experience doesn’t make up for the lack of maintenance and poor service. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.
It’s ok
Great place to be. Nice rooms, respectful staff. Mesmerizing view of the ocean from the room balcony. Easy access to the beach- very clean and comfortable beach amenities. Family friendly access to the pool. The entire property is children friendly!
Absolutely the best time in my life
Staying at the hotel, Crystal was the most amazing time I’ve ever had on vacation in my entire life. Wonderful service. People were wonderful. The room was awesome. The beaches were absolutely amazing. 100% will be going back in February. Just went from my boyfriend‘s birthday December 11 to the 20th Weather was great. Everything is absolutely amazing.
The location was great for swimming in the sea. The pool was nice and clean. The buffet was ok and the all inclusive dinner options were pretty good. The staff was very nice. We could have been better prepared with peso’s or more smaller American bills for tipping. It was hard to find change for American dollars anywhere.
Hotel is above average. Nothing stands out but nothing is horrible. Food is very decent. Beach is amazing! Located near downtown and shopping centers. Everyone is very friendly.
Nice place for vacation
From the moment we arrived we were hounded to attend their timeshare presentations. I couldn’t get information on any excursions in the area without committing to attend their meeting. The “all inclusive” dining was mediocre and the desserts were tasteless. The drinks were all watered down. Not all drinks are a part of the “all inclusive” package. Definitely would not recommend.
We stayed on a room that was closer to the bars and night clubs and the music was loud during the night, otherwise everything was outstanding.
Property is right on the beach and good for families to take a dip whenever they want. Beaches are maintained really well. However, rooms need renovation and they look pretty old. Food in buffet sections of Aquamirina is horrible and very limited options. Breakfast in all restaurants very limited. Only other restaurants where you can eat lunch & dinner are Las Velas, El Montero, Mediterranean for which you need reservations which will be booked very fast and endup eating at Aquamarina. Apart from this activities are average. Best part is beach, unlimited drinks (if you know spanish...you are lucky to try differnt drinks) and pool, rest are all average to poor.
My stay at Krystal Cancun was mediocre at best. The one positive to consider is the location of the hotel itself: with its proximity to entertainment and being at almost the corner of Zona Hotelera. There was a lot of sand and space, which was nice. Customer service was fine, but this is merely an expectation that should've been met regardless as a four star establishment. Other than that, I would not waste my money here again. On the day of check in (December 19th), we were told we would have access to all of the restaurants on property and 24 hour room service during our six day stay. We were also told that there was a buffet, but the restaurants did require a reservation for dinner. What we were not told, however, was that we would be charged a premium on Christmas Eve to go to any of the restaurants on the property except one. This was unbelievable considering how many times I was told "yes, this is part of the all-inclusive". Overall, the food was bad, especially if you have dietary restrictions. We made a booking for a restaurant only for us to receive an email notification that it was canceled. The rooms were pretty old with almost no renovation. In room facilities were lackluster, especially when you consider the premium paid for this "four star hotel". The toilet was leaking and it was not fixed even after we let the front desk know. Overall, this hotel management should improve room condition and food quality.
The service was excellent, the property and rooms were clean. The food was good. The alcoholic drinks could be better they were very sweet. While at the beach the jet ski guys set up their tent right in front of me and blocked my view of the ocean and when asked they wouldn't move so be aware of where you sit and make sure you save your chairs early because they fill up fast.
Professional customer service
Amazing staff, beautiful ocean view.
The buffet was horrible and construction was going on the whole week of our stay.
Convenient location and best beach amenities
Just the bath tub isn’t working the water stuck
Beach
Hi, we had a mediocre/poor experience here at Krystal. We came with a total of 12 people and 3rooms. One of the rooms didn't have ac during the whole stay, it was brought up to the front desk on multiple occasions but it wasn't fix. We asked the staff to change bed sheet because it was dirty they tried too charge a ridiculous amount for deep cleaning when the bed was already dirty and moldy, we only checked less than half a day. On the last day almost every one got food poisoned. The family got real sick and puked.
Beautiful beach
EXCELENTE SERVICIO,
Beautiful
Me gusto mucho.
We ended up have a pretty good vacation at the Krystal Cancun. To clarify, we stayed at the lower end resort. Not the Grand or the Altitude. We did the all-Inclusive. The resort is getting run-down. Do not expect cold A/C in the halls or the rooms - you will be disappointed. The bartenders tended to give better service to the folks who more "local" looking. They did maintenance and repairs in the middle of the day. Opening times for bars and restaurants were inconsistent and posted as different times depending on what sign or menu you looked at. Drinks were made differently depending on who was making it, and were poured on the weak side. Now, the good...The Italian restaurant was great! The main buffet was decent for all 3 meals each day. The beach was beautiful and the resorts kept them clean. Our room had an incredible view off the balcony. Use the concierge to make your restaurant reservations. Very limited tables for the 3 restaurants you need reservations for, and the buffet is the only real alternative.
Would recommend to everyone. The all inclusive packages are worth it
Unfortunaly, the room was noise, not seald. Noise from next door every morning at 6:30.
Hotel Krystal was amazing i would most definitely visit again.
The bathroom is awful..sink and countertop need to be remodeled!!! To old!!! Not the same when made a reservation!!!
The property is affordable and the amenities like restaurants, entertainment such as pool table sports bar are present. The swimming pool facility is excellent. The shopping stalls and other clubs are at a walkable distance. Only cons I can think about is that the room seems to have an old infrastructure, sounds from the next room were audible and the shower occasionally dripped. Overall it was a pleasant experience but there is room for improvement.
Excellent staff, good and variety of food Cons: crowded, long check in, poor a/c in room, problem in hot water in bathtub
You are right by all the action, so that is good and bad. Music at night goes to at least 4am and you will hear it. Food wasn’t great only one day the food was ok. The beach was nice, but a little dirty was trash at times. The rooms had the bare minimum as far as amenities.
Towel boy (Enrique) was rude. Everyone else was excellent. Breakfast menu has changed drastically from three years ago, a lot less options. Restaurant food and service was excellent. Over all happy with our stay just some minor incidents that management took care of.
Loved seeing the same staff I saw 4 years earlier! Still amazing people there that made us feel so special!
Access to the awesome beach, and to the night life.
Close to lots of clubs
The staff was good. Building was in poor shape and no air conditioning in most of the common areas. Room smelled moldy.pool need work tiles missing.
Beautiful location and the beach is so beautiful. Its in the center of zona hotelera. Good food.
From the moent I got there it was an absolutely horrible experience. The rooms were extremely dated. The beds were old and had stains and the walls had covered holes unpainted. They advertise that they are all inclusive, however, that is a deception. They give you the cheapest liquor and if you want a normal bottom shelf, you have to pay additional. You can get all the chicken nuggets and dry burgers you want to eat, but if you want to eat a regular steak, you have to pay extra. The staff are rude and act as if you are bothering them when you ask for something. The smell it the bar was of rotting water as if it had not been cleaned in weeks. Just an absolutely horrible place to stay/
This is my 3rd time staying at this property. This was my 1st time adding the All Inclusive. The food was great! The Staff was amazing especially the day we went through Tropical Storm Helene. They went beyond their duties to satisfy their guest. I give them 5 STARS for that. I will definitely stay here again next year.
Hotel is nice has 1 main restaurant which is a buffet and 1 snack bar (food is so good). They have a restaurant call "Las Velas" you have to make a reservation they have italian food. The rooms are nice, every day they clean the rooms. The view to the beach is beautiful! The beach is so clean and beautiful. I loved it! The pools are clean. There are more local tourists from Mexico. The tourists and staff are all respectful and helpful. This hotel is located walking distance from restaurants and night clubs. No Uber needed. Also, a bus can take you to the main city of Cancun for $12 pesos. The only negative thing I noticed is the elevator it took forever. I think it needs to be repaired.
Staff was excellent from front desk to bell boys waiters and bar men were all awesome!!! Location was the best walking distance to everything from bars to discos it was nice! The only down side was the breakfast same food always it got boring real quick but other than that very budget friendly hotel. Oh yeah and only one elevator works good thing it wasn’t bizzy.
Not a good experience
The hotel does not have bathrooms for people in wheelchair, not accessible bathrooms in the lobby or in the hotel restaurants, and the wheelchair does not fit in the bathrooms of the rooms, in fact the bathroom in the lobby has stairs. The Hacienda el mortero restaurant bathroom entrance is very very small, so if you have a wheelchair, this Hotel is not for you.
This resort was the best resort I’ve ever stayed at. It was so fancy it included all meals breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It included free alcoholic drinks and nonalcoholic drinks. Ocean view!! Had 2 pools and open doors for beach!!! This was amazing
Don’t go to this place. It’s a very small resort. The buffet doesn’t have a lot of options and it says they have a lunch. They don’t everything closes at the hotel at 9 o’clock and most of the food you have to purchase.
I used to visit Krystal resort back in 89-90ties, this time I came back for the second time.most of the things remained the same, but what I found strange is a disappearance of a good quality espresso/ cappuchino machines which used to be all around resort in the past. I took all inclusive package. The buffet and the other restaurants on the resorts were good, but I couldnt get a good quality coffee anywhere and you had to wait forever to get coffee after it was ordered. Apparently, I was told that the coffee has to come to Krystal from another facility, which was quiet bizzare! For the price charged, the real espsso/ cappuccino makers should be available as it used to be. Also, there was not enough gazebos at the beach and the area closed to the ocean should be cleaned from the seagrass more often. The area next to Grand Krystal was much better maintained. The room w an ocean front balcony was great and the staff - well trained and polite. Tatyana and Leonid Nemirovsky
The staff was excellent specially the all the people who work in the Aquarium restaurant buffet, im very impressed of there welcoming and eager to serve you, excellent job they deserve a pay raise
The property was close to lots of shopping and restaurants. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Food needs improvement
The property looks nothing like the pictures. Very rundown and I’ve never had an all inclusive experience like the one I had at Krystal Cancun. I do not recommended this place at all.
Good property, friendly staff. Restaurants could have been a little better.
Amazing location and great staff!
The original room we booked on the 2nd floor with a balcony needed an upgrade in their bathroom. The sink was not draining properly and the faucet looked pretty old and stained. Thankfully they were able to move us to the upper floor. It seemed that the floors above were renovated so it seemed better maintained. The food was great. The buffet food was delicious and always changing . They had good entertainment but could definitely improve there too.

Nice experience
