Gorgeous beach, chill vibe

Great spot with only one real weirdness. We were in a tall bungalow, and the bathro was about three meters below by indoor concrete stairs. Not really a problem, but pretty weird. Really bad water pressure, otherwise a very nice place to stay

Beautiful Bungalows

Gorgeous, simple bungalows on a beautifully landscaped plot of land by the beach. Great place to stay.

Quiet yet close to he pier. Lovely chalets, very peaceful. Totally recommending.

Steve's great!

When we arrived the taxi driver didn't have change - Steve soon sorted that out. When we wanted to hire a bike - Steve recommended somewhere. When we couldn't get our hire bike to start - Steve showed us how. When we were too warm at night with only a fan - Steve sorted out the air con. Steve's great! The resort is in a good spot, the bungalows are private, love the hammocks, bedding and towels are clean and changed regularly, showers are hot and the breakfast coffee and omelette are the best I've tasted.

Don't stay here

Don't stay here. Rooms are not clean. Pictures are completely different. We left the hotel straight away and booked another one.

We were expecting something more

The Wi-Fi was the worst ever, there's no area of the resort with a decent signal and the speed of internet reminded us the 90s.

Too expensive

Internet is only in reception (from 6 am to 8 pm).... Very small room with a lot of animals....

Sorry, but rooms are not cleaning, a lot of mosqitos, poor beach and not smile staff

Excellent location and amazing food

The hotel is located at the bottom of Mae Haad Bay, 5 minute walk from the pier. It's peaceful and quiet and only a couple of minutes walk to the bars and restaurants! Best of both worlds. The food cooked by the hotel was some of the best we've had - no exaggeration. Hotel staff were amazingly friendly and helpful, Steve the owner even sits down with you with a map on arrival to let you know what's what and all the good places to go. Would definitely go back to the hotel

we had a w wonderful stay at this hotel bungalow's was nice and staff very very helpful would recommend a stay here food is good Wi-Fi and TV good beautiful views just nice and chilled out would stay again ;)

Room with mosquitos and cockroaches

Walk through dirt & mud to get to hotel. Walk up the hill to get to room with mosquitos and cockroaches. Had fan and AC but asked to pay 400 Baht per night to turn on AC. No TV and bring your own toiletries. Can find better and cheaper places to stay nearby.

Friendly Staff and Great Location

Friendly staff and great food at the restaurant. Rooms are small though were what was expected. Restaurant is right on the beach where you can snorkel. Would definitely stay here again.

Sûrement apprécié pour les adeptes de bungalow rustique dans la végétation. Mais : - chambre très sombre : prévoyez des lampes. - matelas très dur : prévoyez un massage le lendemain. - salle de bain en contrebas 5 marches à descendre : prévoyez une soirée sobre si vous devez vous lever pendant la nuit. - rien pour suspendre une serviette : prévoyez un marteau et un clou. Cela ne dénotera pas. - petit déjeuner succinct : prévoyez un supplément. Enfin soyez en forme si votre bungalow se situe dans les hauteurs. Dommage le cadre est sympa et l'hôtel est bien placé.

A basic bungalow. Nothing to complain. Breakfast time could be longer than 10 am for prepaid breakfast.

Bien pero a mejorar

El hotel está bien, las cabañas son bonitas y están limpias. A mejorar diría la luz de las cabañas, es muy poca. No realizan el servicio de limpieza diario. El desayuno lo eliges a la carta, está bien. Lo que mejoraría, el servicio de recepción. A las 10 ya no queda nadie y está todo cerrado, ni un número de teléfono a que llamar. Tuvimos una urgencia y estuvimos 1 hora buscando ayuda

Petits bungalows situés au bord d'une plage magnifique !! Le personnel est très sympa. Je n'ai pas pu y séjourner dans les dates que j'avais réservé. J'y suis allée quelques jours plus tard et la directrice m'a donné un bungalow malgré tout.

Romantisch plekje op de heuvel

Heerlijk verblijf. Soms wat luidruchtige buren. Heerlijk uitzicht. De bedden slapen heerlijk en het badkamertje is prima. Niet het meest luxe van het luxe maar daar is de prijs ook naar.

Ok bungalow, but a bit dirty and not the best finish. The breakfast is nothing to brag about and the resort restaurant food isn't very good. 2,5 out of 5 glittering stars.

Koh Tao Royal resort - Vi längtar tillbaka.

Vi är mer än nöjda med vår vistelse på resorten. Fantastisk personal som arbetar där och jätte god mat. Vill man bo bekvämt och bra så är detta en jätte bra alternativ. Läget är underbart och stranden mycket välskött. Förväntar man sig lyx så bör man välja ett annat hotell, Royal resort har dock allt man behöver sängar, dusch, tak över huvudet, kylskåp och det som var viktigast för mig nära stranden samt väldigt bra service.

Hôtel/ bungalow des plus original....avec sa plage

Bungalow dans la jungle , génial....juste prévoir boules quies pour le chant des oiseaux à l'aube , qui est des plus agréable ceci-dit....avec les quies ca passe sans problème et c'est au moins Trés original......maintenant, il faut aimer la nature et l'originalité, car une fois debout , les cigales asiatiques et les oiseaux au chant comparable à des cris de singes , cà vaut le détour !!! J'ai déjà séjourné dans des 4 étoiles , où j'entendais parfois la TV de la chambre d'à côté....là , les bungalows voisins sont suffisamment éloignés, Donc. Nickel !!!

An sich tolle Lage und abenteuerliches Hotel. Jedoch hat es bei unserem Aufenthalt sehr viel geregnet und demnach war das Zimmer und alles was sich darin befand extrem feucht und muffig.

Bon emplacement pour cet hôtel à proximité du port, en face une très jolie plage!

1 ère nuit sur koh tao, personnel très gentil, plage magnifique avec le coucher du soleil mais attention aux moustiques! Bungalow individuel correct, pris sans A/C mais le ventilateur fait son job. Petite terrasse privative avec un hamac et des fils à linge pour la lessive.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura dal 3 al 5 Luglio 2015, La struttura si affaccia su una bellissima baia da cui si può godere uno splendido tramonto, il porto è facilmente raggiungibile a piedi (5 minuti) e anche il piccolo paesino che dista 10 minuti di cammino che è ricco di ristoranti bar e supermercato aperto 24 ore su 24. Da lodare è l'accoglienza all'arrivo, la ragazza della reception ci ha fornito una cartina dell'isola illustrandoci tutti i punti più interessanti da visitare.Il ristorante, abbimiamo mangiato molto bene sia colazione pranzo e cena, affacciato direttamente sulla spiaggia.i bungalow sono strutture in legno, un po' datate molto spartane fornite dell'essenziale ma molto pulite.Consigliato a persone con un pò di adattabilità e amanti della natura.wi-fi gratuita nelle aree comuni.

Drie heerlijke dagen gehad. Locatie kan niet beter en personeel top, zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij. Hutten liggen op steile berg dus niet geschikt voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn. Bästa läget

Reste med min 14- åriga son, han gillade inte ödlorna som sprang omkring (kunde även komma in till bungalown, men vad gör väl det, fanns nät runt/över sängen! Älskade området, nära till allt och natte tid var det lugnt och skönt! Paret som drev hotellet tog sig tid och gav oss tips på vad vi kunde göra och på vilket sätt det bästa var, hon bjöd in oss till att titta på fotbollsmatcher som gick på kvällen fast reseprionen hade stängt! Så otroligt hjälpsam och trevligt, ska åka tillbaka och kommer garanterat att på på samma ställe/ Therese

I mitt tycke ett underbart hotell. Fantastisk service och god mat och läget var helt perfekt för det vi sökte. Det låg ca 5 min ifrån de livligare gatorna vid maehad, så man fick en känsla av lugn och ro,väldigt mysigt.Stranden var bra. Rummen var bra, lite lägre standard men dem funkade för oss. Skulle jag åka till Koh tao igen så skulle jag boka detta hotell igen!

Bästa personalen!

Fantastisk personal som var supertrevliga och hjälpte till med allt från tips till bokning av aktiviteter och liknande. En jättemysig restaurang med prisvärd, jättegod mat precis vid vattnet. Hotellet ligger med gångavstånd till både piren, centrum och de närmsta stränderna. Enda minuset var rummen i sig som inte var i toppskick.

Personale molto amichevole e disponibile. Bungalow tipico, in legno, in mezzo al verde. Bagno essenziale, un pò piccolo.

Per arrivare a questa struttura ci si arriva facilmente a piedi dal molo in soli 10 min attraverso una via che troverete appena usciti dal molo sulla destra(che fa angolo c'è un bar,e dall altra parte un supermarket 7)e sarete arrivati,non fate come noi che nn sapendo dove era la struttura abbiamo preso un taxi quando ci si arriva facilmente a piedi. I bungalow sono essenziali con un amaca sul terrazzino di ognuno di essi,unico problema se così vogliamo chiamarlo dovrete abituavi a convivere con gli animaletti del posto(gechi,insetti vari,scoiattoli...)che potrete facilmente trovarvi in camera (logicamente non gli scoiattoli quelli al massimo li sentirete correre sul tetto la notte. La cucina è ottima noi siamo stati qui 4 notti e abbiamo mangiato sempre qui nonostante ci sono molti ristoranti nella zona. Resort situato direttamente sulla spiaggia,acqua limpida e potrete fare facilmente snorkeling e ammirare tutti i pesci del posto per poi finire la giornata a gustarvi uno splendido tramonto magari sorseggiando una singha(birra del posto)sui tavolini bassi situati davanti la spiaggia. Per finire lo staff e gentilissimo e sempre a disposizione. Beh che altro aggiungere io ve lo consiglio vivamente E per me questo e solo un Arricederci conto di tornarci!
