Great location
Great location and close to LGBT nightlife. Ride shares arrived swiftly and quick to get to wanted destinations. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Not enough housekeeping to meet the 4pm check-in. Offered drinks but given the advanced notice of a fully booked hotel, they should have brought in more staff. Forgetful staff and cold shower added to less than a best experience. Nice location to weho and the facility is nice.
Sarah is the best! Restaurant served a perfect avocado toast with freshly squeezed juices and the bed was fabulous! Walkable to a multi-level mall with many options!
Perfect
Service is decent but the hotel itself apart from the lobby was terrible. Nothing special. Room had a few cabinets open, came with shower curtains, patio only had one chair and no view at all.
10/10 property. Very walkable to the fun spots in West Hollywood. Great food in Ladyhawk and wonderful service.
Excellent hotel. This said they need to up their morning coffee game. Room service was in responsive with multiple calls
Bathroom flooded smell all night terrible reception
Great location but has gone down hill and in need of a revamp.
Worn hotel with terrible front desk and restaurants service
I spoke with management while there, but the service was a nightmare. We have loved this hotel in the past and for my bday so I booked the penthouse, expecting a wonderful luxurious experience…. The room was so dirty. The coffee machine was empty, no cups, smelly /stale air.. they wouldn’t let me have an extra blanket and the room service NEVER answered . We had to go down and order the food and they said they didn’t have the time to drop off at our room…. In the morning we ordered to go breakfast (a BAGEL) and waited 45 mins in the lobby waiting area for it- it was not busy. The service and housekeeping has fallen drastically. Big disappointment.
Yogi realy mare for a better experience. keep him
Great location in WeHo with large rooms.
Beautiful, great service
overbooked and had trouble checking in stayed at hotel before, room was bellow par, billed from minibar without having taken anything, later reimbursed, Sloooow service at breakfast. Had much better experience in previous stay
The hotel itself was nice, it’s in a great location and very walkable. The rooms are nice and spacious and overall the hotel is a good one. However the hotel staff at check in mentioned that they would block the amount on credit charge and upon checkout I could decide my final payment method, mentioning that cash payment is an option upon checkout. However when we went to check out I found out that my card had already been charged without my say so and I was never able to pay cash like Sammie and aumbry at the front desk said.
everything was perfect
The team, staff and hotel were all amazing! They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and they were very much attentive to all our needs and requests! It was my second time staying there and they exceeded all expectations the second time around!
All great
Great stay. Good service is excellent. Housekeeping had some staffing challenges but were responsive when asked for special assistance. Would go back.
The spa room was amazing!
The staff was really nice and welcoming. The room was stunning, would recommend the spa room. The location was great and was easy to walk to the bars in West Hollywood. Would definitely get a room here again
Some of the staff was really amazing. And the pool/rooms were overall pretty clean. But this is far from a 5 star resort. No coffee machine No water in room Hidden fees Limited dining and limited in room dining hours Small pool But, extremely convenient location to WEHO.
, cool perks and amenities. Great part of town
Great Location with a Cool Vibe
The location and vibe of the hotel were excellent. The drawers for both nightstands were sticky, however. This made it difficult to store clothing. Nice bar and pool area. Room was otherwise of good quality. One of the best locations to stay in West LA.
An very uneven stay. It’s a beautiful property in a great location. But With loud generators operating 24/7 sleep was not easy. Then an electricity shutdown one day and alarm bells going off the next, it certainly wasn’t a 5-star experience. Maybe it was just all bad timing, but other reviews lead me to think it’s an ongoing issue.
The property is worn down and dirty. Didn’t end up staying at all.
Great hotel, great staff, cool deco, cute bar, there’s a delicious Mediterranean restaurant very high rated, we’ve got a big room, needs a sofa in the room looks empty… Expensive parking, amazing restaurants within the blocks around the hotel Will stay there again
Loved the staff, free kombucha and cold brew, the room was spacious and beds comfy! The bathroom was great and the light didn’t come through curtains.
Came to WeHo for Pride. Hotel was in walking distance to everything we needed. Would recommend and stay here again.
I would have given five stars, but my room was not ready at the check in time, so I wasn't able to check in until after 4:30 pm. This caused a setback for my evening plans.
Rarely saw workers, hard to get bottles of water or any water. Floor in the lobby had water damage so it was very uneven and raised. Only 1 restaurant with limited menu.
Management issues
Room was good size and clean. Balcony very dirty, not worth trying to use. Could not get breakfast two days in a row due to hotel not having adequate staff in kitchen. This was second stay at hotel. great location but not worth the staffing problems. Will not return.
My go-to spot in WeHo
I am regular here! I love it. I’ve stayed in most of the luxury hotels in WeHo (The 1, Edition, Sunset Tower, London, Pendry)- and I think La Peer is the best overall. It’s a great location at a really great price. It’s a quiet hotel that still has a great restaurant and bar. The staff is amazing and the rooms are really large for the location and price. It doesn’t have the “scene” at the pool like some of the other spots- but it’s still a great spot. The only thing I would avoid is a room near the electrical /storage room. Staff is in and out of it early in the morning and you can hear the door slam if you are in the room next to or across from it. We love this place and probably stay here 5-10 a month!
Staff was amazing
Although the property is addressed in West Hollywood, it's actually at the border of Beverly Hills. It's the best part of West Hollywood yet stone throw away from the Beverly Hills where all the stars live.
Staffs are friendly, facility is clean, nice and quiet. There was an item charged to my room after I checked out and I did not receive a receipt for it. Would you please provide the receipt in full amount for the stay at Kimpton La Peer Hotel.
I don’t usually leave hotel reviews. However, this place is absolutely not a luxury hotel. Upon arrival, the front desk person I believe her name was makaiyla was beyond sweet. Thank you for treating me like a human being. The second day I asked Andreas at the front desk if I could upgrade my room to a balcony room which I would have been happy to have paid for. He proceeded to tell me that the rooms are noisy and expensive and the ac wasn’t working. This was a bit frustrating as the ac wasn’t working in the room that I was in. There was a black out in the area, and the hotel didn’t notify us. I woke up in the middle of the night and banged my knee on the dresser next to me bc I wanted to use the bathroom. I did not even complain about any of this. I said to myself it’s a hiccup and it’s okay. The following night my friend and I were having drinks in their bar, where the bartender rudely cut my friend off. Luckily I had my Snapchat on record and I went back to view what happened. We were eating Girl Scout cookies and we might have been a little loud when talking but the bartender could have just told us to keep it down instead of being so rude. I initially booked this property bc I have a breast surgery coming up in two weeks and have been extremely stressed out and needed an escape. I had an anxiety attack and my mom was in the room upstairs I just needed my medication. The hotel proceeded to call the ambulance who did not even transport me. Worst experience!

Service is horrible in both restaurants and the front desk.
Great location and service
Dog friendly at no charge. Kind and good service
Wonderful boutique hotel in a safe area. Beautiful room, great amenities, comfortable lobby, pool, outdoor bar area and gym. The service was excellent.
Friendly helpful staff
Terrible hotel, never ever stay at this hotel, the hotel is messy, rooms with hair in the bed and in the shower. The staff charge us 5 times the room in our credit card just by “mistake” and they took 5 days to try to solve it. Nobody helps you, theres no manager. Be carefully with the kimptons, especially this one
Great location, very nice hotel.
Stayed 2 nights Oct 30, 31. We disputed a charge on the bill but the way the morning staff (gentleman) handled the communication with us (around 9am Nov 1) was RUDE. Very Standoff-ish. POWER TRIPPING. It is what it is.
Property and staff were lovely. Wait for breakfast was ridiculously long. Bottom sheet on the bed didn't cover the mattress.
Exceptionally friendly service and chic decor in this Kimpton property. Would return!
Excellent location for everything in West Hollywood. Very good large rooms. Would return again
Great location and loved the cool vibe of the hotel !
The staff is very helpful
Gorgeous, perfect location, and pet friendlyl,
We choose this hotel last minute on a road trip stopping in West Hollywood. You could find a better option ! Amazing hot
The outside was a bit dirty with trash. However the worst part was the construction outside, noisy and hard to drive down the street.
Very old not updated likely the pics must be from when they opened
It was quiet but also had a great bar and wine happy hour. The rooftop Pickleball court was a cool feature, but it was often dirty with leftover glasses and drinks. The pool was nice and quiet, but I wish there was more service offered out at the pool.
Staff was so friendly. Hotel was excellent. Great room. Very relaxing atmosphere. Thanks.
Very friendly and welcoming staff. Nice amenities. Great location.
Excellent staff and located in the perfect spot. Lots of trendy restaurants.
Upon arrival, the room (specifically the bathroom) had a strong pee odor. It lingered even after the cleaning crew went in. The bathroom is uncomfortable even if you’re there with your romantic partner. You can see the toilet seat almost from anywhere in the room. On the plus side, the neighborhood is great, very walkable and close to good restaurants and shops.
Active construction that wakes you up before 8am. Be aware that parking is $65 a night and there are daily fees even after booking with Expedia and paying for the stay. About another $100/ day when you park.
mommy/daughter LA visit
From valet to check out this hotel is THE BEST!!! Everyone was so nice. The hotel is impeccable. The room was the best I think I've every stayed in. So spacious & clean. I can not say enough about this place! LOVED IT!
The hotel was very hip and the rooms were awesome very tastefully decorated. The valet process was a bit confusing but we got past that quick. The pool area and Lobby bar was awesome. Overall very positive experience
Excellent Hotel & Staff
Probably one of the BEST stays I’ve had in WeHo. Great staff, Beautiful Hotel, amazing breakfast! The staff is So friendly and really goes above and beyond!!
Front desk dismissive attitude
Upon arrival was given a room with a view of scaffolding. Called the front desk and stared the situation. Was told Hotel was at capacity. I asked if he could double check. Found another room and with a dismissive attitude, gave me a new key.Lack of initiative or interest was apparent!
Wonderful boutique hotel. Very clean, friendly service, & beautiful rooms. Great outdoor bar area, pool & lobby areas. Lots of restaurants, bars & shopping in the area.
Love this hotel in West Hollywood
Fabulous boutique hotel with many amenities. Staff very friendly and go out of their way to please. Will stay here again when we return to visit family!
Check in was a problem. Room not available until 3:30. Promised at 2
Not a 5 star hotel. I would say 3.5-4
Beautiful property in a safe area. Room was comfortable and decorated with taste. Everything was great.
we had a great stay! the staff was excellent and the property was nice. would recommend.
Everything met expectations with the exception of two small grievances. The room we were in was just ok. Very plain and boring. Second, there was construction going on right outside our room. Every morning right at 7a.m. the construction work began.
2 to 3 star. Zero chance of 5 stars
Very disappointing stay. These are all management issues. Location only strength. Stayed at lower-rated hotels in twice over 4 months and both were better. 1. Futon-like springy bed with bad pillows. 2. No water pressure in the dribbling shower with the toilet and sink stopping up repeatedly. 3. Cookies(?) crushed in to carpet 4. Clock unplugged and never fixed amidst tangled cords 5. TP roll in bathroom was 2/3 used upon arrival. Our second room was cleaned with the no TP ever placed. 6. There was no remote control for the TV in the room (waited an hour for delivery after two calls.) 7. No sheet placed under the duvet (one was on top) and the response after a discussion with the sarcastic front desk assistant was to send up 3 sheets for us to fix the bed ourselves. 8. No sugar substitute at coffee station (twice) despite request. 9. No help with bags to room at arrival. 10. No complimentary water in the room but a 12$ spring water bottle available 11. Few drawers for clothes unpacking. 12. Uncomfortable (essentially unusable) furniture. 13. Elevator with a spilled drink on the floor for 2 days. 14. Gift shop never opened and looked like a storage room 15. Front desk folks are under-staffed 16. One day Housekeeping just never came. 17. The outrageous unheard of parking charges are out of line even for Ca. construction is beyond the hotels control. All in all a 2.5 star hotel at best and not recommended without serious improvement
really wanted to like this hotel. facilities and rooms are lovely however.. they charged me a room deposit and then charged me for my room service on top of that and did not return my deposit. was told it would be returned the evening i checked out. it has been over 10 days with no receipt.. just told to keep waiting. might want to keep in mind there is no coffee in your room. you have to request an espresso machine. found out after spending 30$ USD on a pot of coffee. lovely area. lovely hotel. horrible operations.
The many issues we had are unrelated to our experience with the local staff--they were great. However, we paid top dollar for the hotel room and honestly didn't feel it was worth it. Dealing with IHG was awful. The worst luxury membership I've dealt with. They stated they would comp valet in advance but when we arrived the desk they didn't have that information. The local team later rectified this after we had to explain the situation in person with the front desk and through awkward texts with the property manager. That was strike one. Strike two was being on the fourth floor facing very active construction. On Friday we were told the construction doesn't happen over the weekend but that wasn't the case. We woke up to construction every day around 7am. The view (which we really didn't mind) was of rebar, construction workers, and portapotties. Not ideal, but its LA. Strike three was a broken sink. After check-in, I decided to shave before going to a work event, only to learn the drain didnt work. Called the front desk & they sent an engineer who fixed the sink while my partner and I were both in wet towels. Turns out the hotel is replacing their drain stoppers to the push/press kind... really inconvenient to find out the hard way after shaving. The property has potential but needs to price accordingly during construction & renovations. Our coworkers stayed at the Montrose, had a bigger room, paid less, and had no issues.
Great hotel, location with great room. All staff was very friendly except for the bartender girl that was extremely rude. Even some locals sitting at the bar said she is always rude. It did leave a little bad taste unfortunately
Nobody mentioned that there's constrution going on in front of my room windows.
Beautiful hotel. Love La Peer.
Great service
Great property with really friendly staff
First time in LA
Stayed in a King room with furnished balcony. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was modern lower style, but slept well. Outside balcony furniture was often damp from rain, but nice to be able to open the french doors and get fresh air in the room. Housekeeping gave you the choice as to how many services you wanted. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay again when in LA.
Well located with mediocre service
The hotel is well located and quite nice inside but we found the service to be lacking. No one incident was all that bad but they added up to a less than stellar stay. For example, we got a welcome call before our arrival and requested extra robes, but then they weren't in the room when we arrived. Our welcome note in our room was also addressed to someone else. There were a number of other requests that were ignored, delayed or just not acted on promptly. Location is great, though! And our room was huge.
Valet parking is $65 and they wouldn’t let me self park. There was a huge clump of hair in our room and the head board had weird wear and tear. Staff was slow at check in. Very overpriced for what we got.
Love it there!!!
Beautiful property, very helpful staff. Excellent West Hollywood location--walkable to tons of restaurant, shopping and night life.
I had a great stay at the hotel. The staff was great and accommodating. The location was amazing and the accommodation was great. We will definitely come back.
Great service and always so pet friendly.
Nice hotel. Pool/outdoor area small but good ambience. Service, cleanliness and general maintenance of property below what I would expect for its classification.
Property is just OK for the price. It is not a 5* experience, but more like 4*. Rooms have a small window. Beds seem more like double instead of queen. Parking expensive.
ok hotel.
Good food atthe resturant but thats it. the pool is really a large bath (tiny). the only thing smaller than that was the gym. room was ok. not amazing for the price in my eyes.
I will be back!
Staff was extremely helpful. The hotel is beautiful and clean and in a great location.
WeHo. Walkable to great restaurants. Wonderful stay!
Great location for a hotel in WeHo. The rooms need a bit of love, maybe an extra chair to sit on and a few other things to fill it up. There was an issue with hot water when we stayed (it was just warm) but got better when we brought it to their attention. The housekeeping is very slow and needs to be requested which is just silly - it should just be included. The staff were overall excellent and super friendly, attended any issues right away which made up for the other small issues. The bar and lobby area is very pretty so lots of time can be spent an enjoyed there.
The common areas of the hotel are beautiful and chic with great restaurants and bars. The rooms are small and quite spartan. For the price of the hotel I would have expected the rooms to have more luxury and comfort.
Had to wait almost two hours after check-in time for room to be clean. Problem with housekeeping the second day too.
Great location but a bit lacklustre…
A beautiful property in a fab location and we’re grateful we could check-in early but a few disappointing points; the power sockets were broken, service was very impersonal, concierge didn’t deliver our bags up for ages, reception were impersonal and haven’t sent through my receipt and there was drilling going on in the adjacent room. Just didn’t feel like a five star experience unfortunately and we’d stayed at much cheaper hotels in San Fran and LA during our two weeks away that made us feel so much more welcome.
Great rooms, no amenities. I was surprised that the hotel had no spa, they only offer botox (I guess that's a thing now). No massage, not even a mani/pedi. Room service was very mediocre in terms of options, and the pool is tiny and completely unappealing. The bed was super comfy and I loved the soak tub, esp since I got no spa time. However, the room was super noisey. I was woken up by our upstairs neighboors at 5am, and could hear the other neighbors close and open their door. Overall, I would say, for the price it was really not worth it and honestly, pretty disappoitning of the Kimpton brand.
Not a 5-star hotel. Waited 20 minutes for our room to be ready when we checked in at 6pm with no explanation. Valet service always slow because driveway is so crammed. The rooms are nice and spacious, looked clean. Had to ask for housekeeping to clean our room. Tiny shower head with weak water pressure and took forever to get hot water. Would not stay here again for this price and service.

Quiet and walking distance to work.
