Très bon séjour dans cet hôtel. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la piscine chauffée. Petit déjeuner très bien aussi manque juste le jus d’orange pressé et les oreillers un peu trop durs sinon c’était un excellent séjour ! Le personnel était très bien.

Don’t be fooled by the pictures

Honestly one of the worst hotels I’ve been to. Mainly due to the service of the staff. The receptionist were unfriendly and unhelpful. The same goes to the restaurant staff, they were busy talking to each other rather than filling missing food and beverage to the buffé. They also did not take away the platters or glasses. The reception questioned me and my mother the first day prior to check-in, why I did not want to share a bed with my mother, calling me an immature man. The last day the two people inte reception try to scam me with the booking a taxi to the airport, demanding 20 dirham (I paid 60 dirham before). They spoke Arabic since they knew I was Swedish. Little did they know I speak Arabic and understood what they were trying to do.

Kenzi offered a generally acceptable stay, with a safe and quiet environment conveniently located near the city center. The readily available taxi service was a definite plus. However, several issues detracted from the experience. The staff's demeanor was less than welcoming. Despite two requests, our malfunctioning refrigerator was never repaired. Furthermore, we encountered a large cockroach in the restroom, which, after being dealt with by my husband, was not removed by housekeeping. Finally, the dinner was significantly overpriced, especially considering the mediocre quality of the food.

Le lendemain nous allons à la réception et avons expliqué notre situation ils nous ont changé de chambre et surclassé même sans aucun frais. Nous avons été ravi de l'ensemble de l'établissement en passant du Petit déjeuner qui était très copieux et varié ainsi que de la piscine extérieure géante. C'était l'anniversaire de ma femme et ils ont ramené deux gâteaux un dans la chambre et un au restaurant de l'hôtel le soir avec les musiciens qui allait avec. Nous avons vraiment l'impression d'être des clients et chaque demande est vraiment pris au sérieux, merci à vous de l'ensemble de la prestation et continuez de cette façon.

Honestly, this resort has soooooooooooooo much potential to be nice. However, poor service and average food brings it down a lot. Firstly, I agree with previous reviews that the breakfast staff were lousy and inattentive. We didn't get a single hello, or welcome when we arrived each morning. The food was very average with very little variety - let's just say this would have been good for a 3 star resort. Moving onto the staff - there was a certain arrogance from some members at check-in that made us feel unwelcome and unable to ask simple questions. I'm not sure if this is down to a single individual (although one in particular comes to mind), or overall working culture they have at this hotel. Regardless, something needs to change. Overall, as I said before, this place has so much potential as it has such nice rooms, pools, and relaxing areas. However, sub par food and really really bad service (for a 5* resort) reminds me more of a 3 star budget resort, rather than a 5* star one.

It’s nice clean close to the airport and activity

Too expensive for this property and service. I got charge $5 for a coffee machine I never used. I’m not recommend it to anyone.

The area was isolated so it was good that a shuttle bus was provided to transport to medina. The food wasn't great, although we only ate once at the buffet in the evening but was very expensive particularly for the quality. We also felt at times the staff were slightly pushy which was a bit uncomfortable. However the hotel was clean.

Big but a little bit old fashioned room. Breakfast has a lot of variety, but I have seen better breakfasts in Marrakech.

The area was beautiful. Big, pool, enough seats outside. However, the sheets were never changed during the 5 nights stay. Pillow was very uncomfortable. Breakfast was included and ok. SPA was ok, could be better.

This property was a little tired, particularly the bedroom. The shower was mouldy and needed resealing. The bathroom floor was not mopped all the time we were there. There was a disco in the hotel opposite our room which was loud. There was very little to do in the hotel in the evening. However, the food standard was excellent, but did become a little repetitive. The only short coming in the dining room was the lack of spoons for the lovely puddings. There was an amazing outdoor pool but the water was so cold no one used it, which was a shame. There was also a kiddies club, although we did not have any children with us, the children we saw could not wait to get there so I assume that it was good. The spa was excellent and we enjoyed a wonderful hamman and massage there, as a very reasonable cost.

We had room 107 and the staff knew that it's very noisy from neighbouring hotel but still placed us there. On our first night having arrived tired that evening we were unable to sleep till 1am when the loud music finally stopped. Anwar very kindly upgraded us to the royal suite on first floor and there was no noise in that part.

The property itself is really nice and clean on the most part, rooms are very spacious. However what let us down was the staff and their lack of empathy and friendliness. We were made to wait until 2.30pm to check in where our documents and booking clearly listed check in was 2pm the reception staff argues the hotel policy is check in at 3pm and stated that my booking must be wrong. We had a two year old with us and he was getting fed up from waiting so long? The staff did not take this in consideration. The breakfast on day one was nothing short of a shambles there was hardly any staff around to help- dishes were empty and I had to queue for 20 mins just to get a drink. The drinks dispensers were empty and it took ages for staff to sort this, once these were filled there were not empty glasses- a number of guest complained and some even left without drinks. On the first evening I needed milk for my two year old and asked reception to assist with this It took three attempts to sort this out in the end I had to walk down to get it from reception- to my surprise we were charged 60 dirhams for a carton of milk that costs 8-10! I feel being a 5 star hotel they should have showed compassion and been a bit more helpful in situations like this or even provided it. Another issue we had was on leaving we were made to wait until the staff checked the mini bar was not used and no charges were due- i felt like the staff didn’t trust us and it made us feel belittled. Not 5 star experience

Lovely hotel, but needs some tender loving care in the rooms. It would be nice to have a cash machine on site. Lovely staff. Would have liked a better breakfast choice, some cereal etc.

We enjoyed our stay at Kenzi Menara Palace and Resort. Would appreciate if the hotel increases the frequency of the shuttle service. Otherwise everything was great.

Really nice stay here. I have no negatives aside from food but that is very subjective being that I am a picky eater. Close to shopping centre, Food delivery delivers here and the rooms are very spacious. Bathroom could be cleaner but once again good.

The property had good facilities and was not too crowded overall. The pool and spa facilites were the highlight for us as that is what we wanted for this trip. We had a preimum room with graden view, very spacious. Even though we messaged beforehand regarding out dietary requirements. Communicating these with the staff was difficult, chef didn't come out to speak with us, level of english is very low for this level of hotel. They got our requirements wrong twice. Our food choices were very limited and disappointing.

I stayed at this resort for 3 nights and 4 days. I didn’t like the stay at all, as the staff was not helpful, their behaviour was rude, and everything was very over priced. The washrooms weren’t clean that well. And the breakfast buffet was really bad.

A great hotel

Our stay was one of the best we have had. Staff were welcoming and thoughtful. The hotel has a very calm environment, which is a great place to retreat from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. Special mention of Mohammed the manger, who was so helpful. The food was great, with a large section to choose from. The choice of indoor or outdoor pools was also an added bonus. The hotel itself, has stayed true to its Marrakech architecture, with all the mod cons you would expect. I have been recommending the Kenzi Menara Palace to friends and family. Can’t wait to visit again.

We stayed one week in this hotel and discovered Marrakech for the first time. I loved the spa, the swimming pool area, the gym as well. The absolute best part was the kids club, as my child had a gorgeous time whenever she stayed with Nada. That was absolutely brilliant in every way and made our holiday completely unique. In terms of the facilities, I’d recommend changing the furniture as it’s outdated. The size of the rooms were really good though. The staff honestly really depended on who I talked to, but this was during Ramadan so I’d say most of them did their best. I would just recommend to not blame the client if something doesn’t work (our key cards kept on not working and I was even blamed at some point!!!) but again that’s only two individuals at reception and the rest of them were very nice. The breakfast had a lot of options, some good and some not, but I wouldn’t say it was bad- only room for improvement. So, change the sofas and chairs, get rid of one or two few rude and inpatient members of staff, and it’s definitely a 5 stars. Again, top class service at the kids club.

Very good service at this hotel. The only issue we encountered was no iron in the room and the charges for iron services were quite high. The facilties also require a bit of updating such as the bathroom.

Really nice place

The dining options were very over priced to the rest of the city, for example for a mediocre lunch we were charged $95 for two people, a similar lunch cost $15 in the city and not nearly as good on the quality. You had to take a cab to leave the property and Morocco does not have a regulated cab industry and they would give you random prices to come and go. Upon checking out they do not know how to run a line and gave preference to the locals over us 3 separate times to the point we just left as we did not want to miss our flight.

Definitely not a 4 or 5 star hotel. Definitely will not be going there again

El hotel es una maravilla. No le encuentro ningun defecto. La limpieza, las instalaciones, la cama todo muy correcto. El personal un nivelazo, no te dicen no a nada. Intentan tenrte satisfecho desde que entras hasta que sales del hote Sobre todo Ilham, Ayoub y Tawfik en la recepcion que forman un equipo muy cohesivo. Tambien Taha del restaurante super atento. Recomiendo mucho este hotel y repetiria siempre que pueda. Muchas gracias por todo!

Room & bathroom not good

Great stay, the buffet is really expensive. It’s much cheaper to order food at the pool bar or room service and it’s better quality than the buffet.

ok hotel need maintenance

Menara Palace hotel is a true gem of Marrakech. The hotel is beautiful and everything you could ask for. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend staying here.

Air conditioning not working properly. Bathroom very dated. Not 5 star condition.

It was not to the standard it was advertised on Expedia. The check in take very long. The staff was not helpful. They don’t even remove dirty dishes from the rooms for two days. The overall everything was poor.

The hotel is definitely not 5*. The hotel staff are lovely but the amenities are basic. There are 2 restaurants but not very much choice in food. You have to pay for basic things like getting items ironed as they do not provide an iron and extra costs that aren’t stated before. The pools and stuff to do around the hotel can be upgraded to offer more within the resort. It was ok but the resort can be upgraded more.

Very nice hotel. Pool is fantastic. Dining is pretty good. Beer selection could do with improvement. But overall very happy. Would love to stay again.

Overall ok but not a good all inclusive

The hotel is lovely albeit there is not much around it. You will need a taxi to go anywhere. The staff are ok but the receptionists could be more friendly. We arrived late and even if we notified them of it we couldn’t get any food or snacks. No help was provided. The all inclusive doesn’t include a lot of things, such as food by the pool bar or snacks during the day or even the use of the second restaurant. The manager Aziz went above and beyond and that was really nice.

Great staff

Everything would have been great only if we didn’t have to wait 5 hours to change a room where the AC was not working. Came to fix it and still did not work. I said it was too hot in the room and the serviceman told me “ this is Marrakech” That was very disrespectful as I paid for a room with working AC. He left the room and never fixed it. It took reception 5 hours to change us. They did not want to honor the Expedia “VIP” room upgrade that I was entitled to either. It was pure chaos for 5 lost hours.

Very nice pool area, with pool bar. Rooms were very spacious, all had bathtubs and separate shower. Free shuttle bus to market, but check times. Food buffet was varied. 10 min walk to local mall with food, shopping, supermarket. Child friendly experience. Towel situation was strange. Someone would take them in the morning, but wouldn’t always get new ones back.

The service was excellent, especially from my waiter Mohammed who made sure my table was never without drinks at dinner

All staff were friendly and helpful. I'm a black women and felt comfortable and welcome here. Was treated well. Lovely spacious room and we had a great view of the pool. Hotel breakfast has a great selection. Has a nice omlette bar. Although it was my choice to stay in the third building, it was a bit of a walk to reception and dining area. It would benefit having another entrance/exit. However, i would highly recommend this hotel and would book again if visiting Marrakech.

Proximity to down town

Great resort if you want away from the city. Rooms are large and beds comfortable. There isn’t much around the resort so you are forced to eat at their restaurants. The breakfast has a lot of choices, albeit more for European tastebuds. Food overall was okay—typical of most hotels. Pool is beautiful.

Kenzi Menara Palace Resort is indeed a real Palace. I visited with my family over the Christmas period and from the moment we stepped in the reception we felt like royals. The rooms are very large with all amenities needed. Their hospitality is 5star. We went for all inclusive and were never bored with the food or the dessert and everyday we had different selection. The waiters are always willing to help and ho extra miles. I highly recommend their concierge services, sherif the head of concierge has an amazing personality and he is always available to help. His recommendation were spot on. The hotel is family friend and i will highly recommend it to everyone. Great hotel, great food and awesome hospitality

First time in Morocco Marakesh and one thing stopped out for me, the fact that most hotels apr most places had their buildings looking like palaces. Well One of the reasons I booked Kenzi Menara in Marakesh is because my friends and I did a little party at the rooftop of Kenzi in Casablanca: I was in love with the hotel hence when I came to Marakesh I decided to book the same hotel and I have not regretted. Hotel is very big and rooms are too spacious for standard rooms in hotels I have slept him and this made me to totally love it. I love the trees and the gardening at the place; one other thing that stood out for me. All staff are friendly and their sense of humour is amazing. I will definitely choose Kenzi on my return to Morocco

Impressive looking hotel that on the whole did not disappoint. We were there in mid September and there were very few people there so not that much of an atmosphere. Rooms very large and clean although looking a little old in places. Food was excellent although a little repetitive. Waiters excellent , majority of pool staff friendly apart from one of the bar staff who was unfriendly and miserable. Reception staff lacking in friendliness unfortunately and not particularly helpful. Took over an hour to get them to print boarding passes and they seemed very un interested in helping preferring to assist those who jumped the que rather than those that were patiently waiting to be served- a minor point but irritating.

The actual hotel itself is ok, the room was big and clean. My issue was with the bar staff and pool staff, if yiu want to be ignored for 10 mins before being served (when you were the only person at the bar) go here! The pool was like a being at a club - blaring music all day. The quality of the food….would be ok if not stone cold (every meal we had) it’s such a shame as the property is actually ok. I would rate this as a 3.5 star rather than 5

Decent hotel. Nothing spectacular. Rooms are quite tired and need updating, our shelves in the cupboard were falling down, main door was hard to shut and light kept making a whirring sound. Staff we’re friendly. No iron in room strange for 5star? When I asked for extra towels or hangers never came so stopped asking! Food was okay. In summary I would say it’s a good 3/4 star hotel. It “does the job” room was clean though.

Rooms need Renovation

The deluxe single rooms are huge and very comfortable. The pool is lovely and the largest hotel pool I've ever seen. The gardens and surrounding areas are beautiful and very well maintained. All the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Thank you for making our stay in your amazing city so enjoyable.

Everything about this property is beautiful the only negative is the spa need a lot of work

Food was 5 star, everything else very average, don't come here if you want to relax, there is music by the pool with thumping base for most of the day and equally in the lounge areas by night. Staff are rude when you challenge them on it and management don't listen. Property needs an overhaul, not enough sunbeds, fighting for towels etc

The hotel itself is in a good location in a new up and coming area of Marrakech. It is about 15 mins in a taxi or shuttle bus from the Medina square. It is built around a very large swimming pool and surrounded by delightful garden spaces. There was only one restaurant open when we were there (8 to 15/5) which was disappointing. The staff are generally friendly and speaking French is helpful. You do get the feeling that they are only just recovering from the Covid lockdown though with perhaps not all the staff that they would normally have. In addition, it is popular with large groups who are there on corporate ‘conferences’ who tend to have outdoor receptions in the evenings with live music. The hotel is also geared toward short-stay guests on all-inclusive packages. The swimming pool is quite magnificent but is totally ruined by the staff playing loud music throughout the day, There were times when my wife and I had to shout to hear each other on adjacent sunbeds. The staff seem to think they are running an all-day Ibiza club. It is totally unnecessary. Do NOT expect a relaxing time lying in the sun here unless you are under 25 years old and cannot live without loud rap and garage music all day long! The other thing to remember about Morocco is that smoking is permitted pretty much everywhere and it seems a lot of guests are smokers - by the pool, in the restaurants and anywhere in-between. A great property ruined by loud music around the pool and no smoke free areas.

The best hotel in the world. Amazing staff, Animation Staff especially. Everybody was helpful and made our stay a wonderful one. I would like to thank the room cleaning ladies who were never tired of accommodating our toddler and his mess. I would also like to thank the restaurant staff who cooked amazing dishes. Thank you Kenzi !

The hotel is just outside Marrakesh,less than 10 minutes in a taxi.stayed here before,it is a nice hotel,rooms are comfortable,outdoor pool is the biggest pool I’ve ever seen in a hotel,with lots of sun beds and chillout areas.the breakfast is pretty good though it was very busy when we were there so a little crowded,but I would stay here again.

Very good and friendly staff

Kenzi Menara is a beautiful property, well-maintained with a gorgeous, gigantic (unheated) pool. My two children (11 and 8) and I arrived here after an awful two nights at the Iberostar Club Palmeraie. We were all relieved at the beauty, cleanliness and level of luxury and service at Kenzi. I feel like I can't give the most accurate review because during this time of COVID, things are obviously quite different—from the emptiness of the hotel to the spa being closed. That said, here are Pros and Cons: 1. The room we were initially given was lovely and spacious (55m2) with a garden view/patio. However, the shower overflowed—water everywhere—and the toilet flush button kept jamming. The heater also didn't work. 2. I was offered another room that night, but they were all quite similar and it was quite late so they said they would show me other rooms the next day. 3. Next day's room was lovely. On the second floor with a view of the pool and Atlas Mountains. I simply wonder why we weren't given this room to begin with as the hotel was nearly empty, but I suppose this is how hotels work! 4. The buffet was delicious, if repetitive by the end of the week. The breakfast buffet was the most chaotic with uncleared tables, no utensils or cups, glassware. No juice or water left if you arrived on the later end. 5. The bar and bartender by the pool are wonderful. Terrific mojitos and cappuccinos and very kind to me and my children. 6. Well the guy at the front desk was really rude we were the only ones in front of him and he kept talking on the phone to one after another,his name is "Anas" and also when we were talking to him he wasn't easy to speak with,rude and unfriendly I really wish they must choose their people especially those at the front desk they give the wrong idea about the hotel

Give yourself at least 4 hours during check in

The welcome was very poor considering a five star hotel, from the moment i walked in I was asked to be seated only to be waiting there for over 2 hours. The front desk just ignored you, after approaching the desk I asked at what time I would be checked in as its 4pm now. The staff said please wait and you will be attended to, after another hours wait, i still was not given any room. The day past like this and now its 6pm. The staff then checked me in and offered a discounted spa service which was already in my room offer. A joke to be honest. Hotel was better a few years back but with the level of service, good luck with your stay.

Amazing

A friendly place to stay. Jilali the restaurant manager looked after us so well. Simo the hotel guest relations and other staff made us feel at home. My friend and I enjoyed it so much we are planning to go back. I didn’t give a perfect score with the facilities because the main pool was being renovated and we did not get to use it. Expect to pay an extra for hotel tax which is not much ( approximately £4 daily). Food is very good and reasonably price. I recommend future guests to book all inclusive.

Staff were very friendly, welcoming and really looked after me and my family.

Staff were often rude, not welcoming or helpful and very favourable of Arabic speakers. Most other people were ignored at breakfast. Checkout was an issue as they forgot they had put a hold on our credit card and were saying we didn't need a refund so we waited while they looked for the receipts and eventually gave us the money back. Food at the pool bar was very poor, typical frozen pizzas etc. Drinks were good and the pool area was lovely. A lot of bugs and they kept running out of

A wonderful hotel made even better by the superior staff and service. Great location and free shuttle to the city centre. Upgraded to a suite. The guest relations manager Maroua was amazing and personally looked after us during our stay, nothing was too much trouble and she went out of her way to make our stay exceptional. The rest of the staff were also warm and hospitable- Semo was the life of the hotel! Food was plentiful with lots of variety.

Smoking allowed everywhere! This severely limited our ability to enjoy almost every space, even by the swimming pool. Almost no a/c in our room . Lovely facilities, not ideal for us.

The Hotel rooms are GIGANTIC - we also managed to get an adjoining room with our daughter which was great.

This was my first trip to Morocco so I really didn't know what to expect. The hotel/resort was actually very nice and a pleasant surprise. It sits on a huge property with lots of trees and greenery. Our room was huge and comfortable. The pool is also huge and has lots of chairs/cabanas, a bar and small cafe. The hotel itself has three restaurants, a bar and numerous lounges in the reception area. We didn't use the spa but checked it out and it looked nice although a pricey. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. However, on the negative side there were not enough of them. For instance there was only one waitress at the pool and one bartender for what was generally 100 guests using it the pool. The food in the restaurants was great, one Moroccan, one Italian and then a buffet if you were on the all inclusive plan. Note that if not on the all inclusive plan the food and drinks were very pricey and they did not allow you to bring your own food and drinks into the hotel. The place also has a free shuttle that takes you to/from the Medina several times a day. All in all a very nice place to stay away from the crowds of the downtown area.

very nice hotel and resort- concierge shariff was amazing as soon. as we arrived into the hotel, and he planned our 4 day stay within minutes- at very reasonable rates. hotel room- clean and comfortable with good view of the swimming pool- with amenities provided resort had most things available- and good atmosphere around the pool created good variety of items available at breakfast the only complaint would be the reception staff could have been more welcoming- quite robotic manor. and room service was slow at times. daily housekeeping were spot one evening folding our clothes that we left on the bed. would recommend the resort to friends and family

Excellent staff great atmosphere the food need more improvement .

The hotel is located outside the main city, but it is easy to get into town using the free shuttle bus or better still take a guided tour of the Medina which concierge can arrange for you. The location is pretty quiet, there isn't much else around the hotel other than other hotels, although there is a cafe/ice cream place and a bank within a quick walk. The hotel is spacious and modern, but has been built to mimic the riad style in the guest wings. It is a nice blend of international hotel and Moroccan style. The rooms are also spacious, and very comfortable. The beds are amazingly comfy. There is an excellent buffet restaurant, which is also where breakfast is served. There is an Italian and also a Moroccan restaurant. We used the latter a few times. The food was superb and the service excellent, and we loved the live music in there. There is also a pool bar which serves food and drink to approximately 6:30 but the closing time seemed a bit variable (give or take 15 minutes). The main language of the hotel is French. Most staff speak passable English too. Level of service was generally very good. The gardens are lovely, there is a Spa which is good too (costs extra) We went B&B but all inclusive options are available and these should be considered because the buffet and drinks can add up quite quickly.
