Very good location for food, shopping, city view, night view and attractions. Swimming pool and SPA inside the building and guest are warm welcomed here.

One of the classic hotels of Dalian

I have lived in Dalian for 14 years and the Kempinski was one of the few four star hotels in the area. I have eaten there many times at the Pauliner restaurant, which is fabulous for its German food and beer but this was the first time to stay. We actually booked just one night and then extended the booking by one more night. COVID precautions were in full view from entering the hotel to seeing the disinfectant team going to our room as we were leaving the floor to check out. Service and location are the greatest assets of the Kempinski. Room amenities were the best I have seen in China. It had all the normal stuff but also a luffa pad, a nail brush and mouthwash. The Kempinski's condition is a bit worn now, compared to the new five-star hotels in the city. I enjoyed the swimming pool and gym (new equipment there) but on our last morning, the swimming pool was closed for a problem of some sort. The men's locker room was splendid with sauna, a cold tub, a hot tub, and a really hot tub. It was very clean (some Chinese locker rooms can be pretty shabby) and spacious. However, my wife told me that the women's locker room didn't have the hot tubs and perhaps wasn't as nice as the men's. Its location is right next to the fabulous Labor Park where there are all kinds of activities. So, I plan to go back for another mini-break as we confine our travel. There are more restaurants and bars to explore in this wonderful classic.

Nice rooms but very dirty.

Hotelrooms were really horrible dirty. Internet wasn't working. Changed the room but didn't extend my stay in this hotel.

Clean, excellent service from the staff, good location. The only setback is that taxi cannot alight passenger at the hotel main enterance.

We stay at the Kempinski often and is always great!

Very inviting and a great location.

We will continue to stay at the Kempinski. It is in a great location. The staff is great and they speak English. The only problem we had was the room we were put in (in the older tower of the hotel) had the heat on with no way to cool it down (they shut off the AC function in the rooms during the winter and you can’t stop he heat). Our room went from 25 degrees C to 29 degrees C within an hour. We called the front desk about it, they said that is not good and immediately sent someone to our room with keys to a new room (in the new tower) where we could open a window to help control the heat. The older room was much bigger, but the newer room was so much more comfortable. The breakfast was very good with a variety of western and eastern options. Every employee we passed went out of their way to say hello every time they saw us. It was very friendly and inviting. The Kempinski has become our favorite place to stay is Dalian for a little getaway.

November hotel stay

Stayed in junior suite at the beginning of November. Suite is quite good room size but air conditioner seems to be preset at +26 (outside not cold at this time of the year in Dalian) and no way to low room temperature but open small window. With two small kids it’s not a good idea :( Location is good and we always stay at this hotel. Parking is limited outside and practically no space in underground parking. Hotel staff is friendly and speak English. Lobby decorations are very good for family pictures.

Excellent location

The hotel is conveniently located. Walking to a nearby Metro takes about 10 minutes. Nearby there is a sea food street, big shopping mall and railway station. Breakfast is great and of varieties.

Great hotel in Dalian

Too bad I was only there one night. Great hotel with a warm welcome and plenty to do. Would definitely stay there again when in Dalian

furnitures are not that high end for a 5-Star hotel but over all its a nice place to stay

Modern hotel

Clean and comfortable hotel, very close to shopping centers and tourists attraction.

High temp in room

The room was uncomfortably hot which made it difficult to have a good sleep. When asked for help we were told there was nothing that could be done about it.

Stayed in the executive suite. Very nice room, small issues with the heat but the room itself was beautiful, the staff friendly and helpful and the lounge was excellent!

A nice hotel in a great location

It was my second stay there and was as satisfying as the last time. The hotel is close to the city centre, where you can find varieties of restaurants or shopping places near by. All the facilities in the hotel are nice and clean.

This is not the Kempinski I liked

The hotel is old. Key is the management is bad. Staff in restaurant play phone, bellboy not willing to open you door even you taxi the cab besides him. Chinese restaurants dish is not clean enough. One good thing. The swimming pool is very good. This is not the Kempinski I liked

Quick visit to Dalian

The Kempinski hotel is located just 2 short blocks from Victory Plaza underground shopping centre. Enough shops, eateries & a bowling alley to lose yourself for a day. The Paulaner brewery under the hotel is another plus. In addition to its own draft beer it also has a great restaurant. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. Check in/out was smooth with friendly staff. The main hotel has its own restaurants with a huge variety of food on offer and a ground floor lounge area for coffee and snacks all day. An excellent place to stay in Dalian CBD.

Park Kimpinski

Very good location close to local mall with Starbucks and other well known fast food chains. From barber shop (a little tricky entrance from the side of the building, opposite and across the street, room 903, but very good cut) to local restaurants and big park. Hotel is very well situated. Bell boys and hostesses trying the best).

Always a great stay in Dalian

Stayed for a second time at this hotel and was not dissapointed. The first time we stayed we chose a premium room and this time around we opted for a city suite. The room was large with great amenities. The staff were friendly and all spoke great English. Nothing more we could have wanted.

Great German Beer Hall

Definitely a great pick for Dalian. Food, service, comfort--can't ask for more. And the surprise is a full fledgded German Restaurant--with all the favorites on tap and genuine German food. Also two steps away from the park and the most amazing seafood restaurant

The room is great. I would rate the hotel condition 5 as well, the only drawback is the flexibility to adjust my room temperature. It was really hot, I need to turn it off to cool down. Service is fast and great too. Staff are helpful.

still one of the best choices in the city location, service level, staff - just unmatched in Dalian would not hurt to have renewal plan soon, but now you wont find anything that would hurt your stay

Great room. Service was wonderful, great time at their restaurant, Pauliner as well (amazing German food in Dalian). Only bad mark is its a bit far walking distance from downtown bars and nightlife. I also booked a room with a king size bed and got two double beds.

Great hotel, questionable bathroom

We booked a small suite. Room was nice and large and the bathroom was nice. One pet peeve. The toilet wall was clear glass! I understand shower walls being clear, but the toilet area being clear is strange. It's kind of weird to see your companion sitting there, and we ended up covering it with some bedding so it's less embarassing. Other than that the place was great.

Fine hotel

I enjoyed my stay greatly and will stay at the Kempinski again when I visit Dalian. The included breakfast buffet is very good. I enjoyed the swimming pool (although you have to wear a bathing cap; they sell them if you do not have one). The dinner buffet, while not included, is worth the price - and I do not normally like buffets. The quality of food is that good.

Close to very nice park

I liked my stay at the Kempinski Dalian very much. Staff was great. Hotel was in good shape. Park across the street was a great place to walk around after a lot of air plane time. Will stay here again.

Nice hotel, good-sized rooms.

Modern, light airy room. Very comfortable, large beds, and large bathrooms. All facilities you could wish for. It's not yet officially summer, so A/C not yet working, in spite of temps. in the mid-twenties. Buffet Dinner in the main restaurant not as good as some other Hotels in Dalian, but OK. If you want German food the Paulaner Bierkeller in the basement will fill you up. Overall, good hotel, and good value.

You need a cap to use the pool!!!

The check in of the Hotel is abit slow as there is only one front desk person that handle all the guest that are wiating to check in or to get some information about the hotel service.

Great place to stay in Dalian

The Kempinski hotel is beautiful and is located just a block or so from several good shopping areas including the massive, multi-story Parkland shopping mall just a block away. My room was on the 12th floor and it overlooked Labor Park across the street – I could see the large soccer ball sculpture from my room. There were several elevators and I seldom had to wait long for one. My room was nice and had a separate living area from the bedroom and bathroom, but it was starting to show some wear and tear. I still would have given it 5 stars but I had a difficult time figuring out the air conditioning system and never really got it to work well. The staff and service were friendly and prompt – the woman who cleaned my room always smiled and said hello (and kept me well stocked with bottled water). I didn’t have time to try out the spa or fitness center, but on a couple of nights I did check out the Brauhaus in the basement. I was impressed! The beer was incredible, and the food was delicious. Almost forgot – the complimentary breakfast buffet is outstanding – don’t miss it. In the states it would easily cost $20-$30. Overall, for the price the Kempinski was a fabulous deal. In the US I could easily pay three or four times much for a comparable room.

Hotel is central

Good location,easy to go shopping.The rooms are good and comfortable and big.The buffet breakfast is quite good.The german pub is good so you dont have to travel anywhere for entertainment.Nothing much to complain generally.

Amazing Dalian and Kempinski

breakfast was excellent, room was great, good hot and cold showers i think german touch , although temp was -20 Deg C , rooms were comfortable , check in and out was quick , overall 10/10 , you made my stay comfortable. Shopping malls and food eateries nearby.

처음 예약한 방에서 이상한 냄새가 나서 방을 바꿈 새로운 방에서는 냄새가 안났지만 전체적으로 덥고 답답한 느낌이었고 에어컨이 중앙제어라서 조금 불편했다 다른건 다 괜찮았음

Très bon accueil., chambre très propre et trop chaude impossible de régler la température, ni d'ouvrir les fenêtres... La chambre aurait besoins d'un petit coup de jeune.. Repas à la carte, plat de bonnes qualités.

地下鉄駅から少し距離があるのでタクシー移動が基本でしょうか。ホテル自体は運転手さんは皆さんご存知なので困ることは少ないと思います。

快適な高級ホテル

快適な高級ホテル。チェックイン時に最上階の部屋にupgradeしていただきました。朝食充実。時間がなく利用できなかったがspaもよさそう。送迎も気持ちよく，満足度も高い。

立地よし部屋よし、満足の宿泊

森林動物公園、恒隆広場など大連市内を観光するのに1泊しました。口コミ通り部屋は広く、朝食も種類が豊富で大変満足できました。ホテル隣に万宝海鮮舫が、ホテル地下にドイツビールレストランがあり、外食も便利で楽しめます。中国のホテルはだいたいテレビは大きいですが、ここはちょっと小さかったのですが、特にテレビを見ない人にとっては気にならないと思います。

WIFIが無料で使える。

あまり利用されないとは思いますが、サウナルームはたぶん中国でも有数でしょう。 プールはもう少し広ければいいのですが。レーンが無いので３人が利用限度ですね。 朝食はかなりの種類があります。料理も良いです。 以前の中国のホテルはWIFI利用は１日２０元から８０元くらいかかっていましたが、近年ではほとんど無料ですね。

３度目の利用ですが、毎回問題なく過ごせました。

新築ピカピカでは有りませんが、室内は綺麗で広い方だと思います。

築年数が経っているため、若干古く見える部分がありました。水まわりは、新しくなってます。

ドアの開閉するカードKeyがあまり調子が良くなかったです。

シャワー付きトイレが有ると聞いていましたが、無い部屋に通されました。お湯が出るまで時間が掛かりました、以前はすぐ出たような気がします。

ドライヤーが壊れていた。

お部屋はきれいです。朝食も美味しくいただきました。 フロントの女性スタッフの方も愛想がよく好印象です。 また泊まりたいと思います。

Pleasant stay with nice Sauna/Pool area

Pleasant stay at Dalian Kempinski. Rooms a bit dated and carpets in the whole way quite smelly. However convenient location of the hotel and pleasant and helpful English speaking staff. The Sauna, Pool area is definitely worth visiting. Breakfast ist ok with the standard variety but nothing fancy or exclusive.

個人的旅行だったので、余裕時間にスポーツジムを気楽に利用出来充実させて頂きました。

仕事の合間のリラックスの空間

市内宿泊はお客様の関係もあり日航が多いのですが、ゆっくりしたいな、ってときに利用します。 部屋は広く湯船も深いのでリラックスできます。清潔感も完璧です。 駅にも近く良いロケーションですが、一方通行の関係で車での迎えには少し不便なのと、 付近に日本食居酒屋等はあまり多くありません。

何度も利用していますが文句無し！

チェックインもスムーズでその他もとくに問題はありませんでした。

トイレがしウォシュレットだと最高です。

飯店歷史悠久沒關係，馬桶竟然不通是很可怕的體驗~ 明明預定一張大床房，入住時卻被告知這樣的房型沒有了，只剩2小床的房間，令人感受非常不好，亟需改進~

スッタフに愛嬌のなさを感じるも、慣れればこれがベストかも。 朝食も部屋も最高でした。

飛行機遅延で急遽宿泊。 日本語が話せるコンセルジュ的な男性が とても親切でした。

とてもいいホテルです。

五つ星ホテルでそれなりの設備とサービスで満足しました。ただ一つ写真で温水洗浄暖房便座がでていたのに泊まった部屋はそれがなかったのが残念でした。

Hotel in direkter Citylage. Direkt gegenüber ist ein EKZ. Restaurants und Bars in der Nähe. Direkt am Hotel ist ein Paulaner Hofbräuhaus. Hotel ist ziemlich groß. Zimmer waren ok, Einrichtung ist in die Jahre gekommen, was man sieht. Die Sauberkeit war ok, kenne ich aber besser. Der Teppich war z.B. nicht gesaugt, es lagen überall Krümel etc. rum. Frühstück war gut und reichhaltig. Sowohl heimisches Frühstück, als auch europäisches Frühstück war vorhanden.

朝食もおいしく部屋もオシャレですが、暖房設備が壊れたり、二日目にはサービスのお水やハンドタオルがなかったりしました。
