two nights stay but disappointed.
This is our repeated return every time we visit Tokyo. we stayed in the superior twin room for two nights on the seventeen floor. The room is not renovated and looks very old and dated. Worst of all , the free wifi inside our room never works for the two days we stayed . We had to use our paid roaming for texting and calling my family back home. this is a shame. We are return guest, we stayed in the Delux plus room before heading to Nagano to spend Christmas but on our return to the hotel we managed to book the twin sharing Superior room. even the toilet amenities were of different range and the Wifi at the Dekux room plus was definitely working !!
Really great place in a relatively quiet part of Shinjuku. The location is convenient for travelling around the city, and is close to Shibuya if you want to do some shopping or check out the scramble. Staff were great and helpful, and attended to our every need. The laundry machines aren't the best however. They take too long to dry your clothes which can take up a lot of time if you're trying to do some laundry before bed. Overall though, it's been a great experience.
Spacious room. Good amenities. Wonderful staff. Short walking distance to shops
2nd time we have stayed at the Keio Plaza - excellent hotel and facilities, clean and friendly staff. Great choices for bars and restaurants . Breakfast buffets have an amazing choice to suit all tastes . If you get chance visit the sky lounge - great views and ambiance . Location is great for train station and local subways. Overall I would highly recommend - and will be back again .
This is the hotel we always stayed at whenever we visited Tokyo. We would book the Premier Grand room types which include access to their Premier Lounge on the 45th floor. Breakfast is incuded and we have a choice of three dining venues. We enjoyed the afternoon tea and hors d'oeuvre in the lounge. Walking distance to many dining and shopping options in busy Shinjuku!
Keio plaza was a great hotel to stay at. Conveniently located, full services offered including bell captain, storage of luggages, delivery services and a coincerage that was super helpful to help book doctors clinic and arrangements to hospital during an emergency my son had during our stay.. They also have free shuttle bus to Disneyland with advanced booking. The only downside was laundromat was always full with long line up early morning and early evening,.drying capabilities also not great and require additional hour to dry. Need more machines and maybe an additional few for drying only. Breakfast was average, has some varieties but same everyday. Will skip next time. Overall, happy with the hotel and will come back again.
Great location!
Like : safe & comfort Dislike : room is not soundproof
Excellent location in a very large hotel with exce
Location cannot be beat. Step out of the back entrance of the hotel walk up the tree line Street look to your right and there are a gazillion stores restaurants keep walking straight and you will reach the station entrance and another large department store. Go downstairs from the station more shops. The room itself is small but it does have two chairs. There’s a refrigerator kettle and plenty toiletries. A Safe , and good towels and linens. Beds were a little on the hard side, but then we have found that all over Japan. There is some storage space not much but more than some other places we have been to. This is a huge hotel with a giant lobby, but the service is quite amazing and they are extremely efficient. You can book a bus here to either airport , and your luggage can go onto the bus as well. As mentioned before, look out your window in the evening and you can see a light show projected onto another building. The station is about 3-4 minute walk fairly complicated to use but ask anyone in the station and they are so willing to help you. Once you’ve done the train once or twice you will get the hang of it , and you’ll be on your way. Download your suica card before you go
The staff are polite and helpful. Japanese hospitality is one of the best in the world. Love the convenience to shopping areas and train stations.
Nice location, good breakfast, bathroom is a little bit small. The tub and shower is out of date. No coffee machine.
This was our fifth visit to Keio Plaza Tokyo, where we always book the Grand Premier Room to enjoy access to the Premier Lounge. The lounge staff consistently make us feel welcome, adding a warm touch to our stays in Japan. The hotel’s location is perfect—within walking distance of everything Shinjuku has to offer, yet tucked away from the hustle and bustle. We look forward to our next stay at Keio Plaza Tokyo!
The staff was very helpful when we sent our baggage to the wrong location. It is a perfect location and the breakfast buffet selection was great. The limousine bus that picks up and drops off right in front of the hotel was so convenient.
Clean rooms, great location, top-notch service. Breakfast buffet is the best!
Our tours were in the same location. The one breakfirst was all cold and we were there at 7:45
.
In the heart of Shinjuku
A beautiful hotel located in the heart of the Shinjuku area, surrounded by lots of shops, restaurants and easy access to the train station. Room rate and food/drink were quite expensive.
The property had good amenities including a coin operated laundromat and was in a central location. We booked a foot massage at the spa and it was amazing!
Very friendly and close to train stations etc, very nice staff and very clean and high end
This property was close to the train station. But the room isn’t what it looks like in the photos. Unless you get premium VIP. The rooms are old and you can smell stale cigarette smoke that has never left. The mattresses are extremely hard.
Great location and great facilities. Staff are professional and very accommodating.
Convenience for the public transit and restaurants
The Hotel was best. It was convenience went to train station and many restaurant to eat. But the internet was the problem, many times it cannot connect the wi-fi. The room no table to put the computer.
Nice location
You cannot go wrong with this hotel. I have stayed here multiple times when I come to Tokyo.
京王プラザホテルはいいですね
The room is quite spacious for a hotel in Japan. It is suitable for a family with young children. Service level is excellent, especially the housekeeping department as they worked very fast to change the bedsheets & tidy up the room after my request. The hotel also has 2 restaurants for breakfast and I would recommend going to ‘Glass Court’ as it has a better buffet spread.
Overall, the Keio plaza is an excellent hotel located in the heart of Shinjuku. It is a 10 minute walk from Shinjuku station, and there’s lots to explore in the neighbourhood. The service and facilities here were excellent, and the rooms were well equipped, modern, and clean.
Great hotel
It was in a quiet area of Shinjuku, and you can see the nightly light show at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office.
Excellent hotel
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend the hotel. The room was comfortable and the service impeccable.
Great hotel
Everything about our stay here was terrific. Our room was very comfortable, and the service was impeccable. The hotel is conveniently located near Shinjuku Station, restaurants, and shopping. The buffet breakfast was excellent. We would definitely stay here again.
Love it
Comfortable Some luxury I love this hotel
Excellent location and the room was very nice! Bed, pillows and linens were great. The room was very clean. Close proximity to Shinjuku Station and lots of restaurants to choose from. Thanks to the helpful and kind the staff for making our stay very comfortable!
Overall it was a comfy stay. Very busy restaurants every morning Enjoyed the gym, room n in particularly club lounge the most but it’s a pity that the operating hours for bar time is way too short. It ends at 730pm. Ideally should end later so that guests can enjoy the beautiful sky line of the city more
Magnificent staff, great service. Wonderful amenities
Gorgeous hotel in a convenient location. We booked a Premier room so had access to club lounge, which made our stay even better
Housekeeping could improve slightly; had to remind them for more bottles of water daily
We stayed here and chose the concierge type room. Worth every penny. It is also very quiet. Additionally they are a good neighbor hotel for Disney and have a free bus ride to and from the park. We left around 10:00 am and were there by 10:30. I recommend staying here.
Great staff, convenient to train station. Lots of eating and shopping options.
All
Staff was great and friendly, but the room is very outdated especially the bathroom.
Long overdue... a 7-11 coming soon.
Room larger than expected
Keio Plaza Hotel is located within walking distance of Shinjuku Station and the sprawling shopping and dining options that are around the station. The hotel itself is a massive complex with people coming and going constantly. The room was comfortable and suitable for our needs, with enough room for 3 beds. The shower is nice and hot and the tub is great for a soak after a long day of walking and touring. The staff maintains the Japanese style of service - gracious, polite and efficient. All the staff members we encountered were terrific, and their command of English is strong. It’s not at all a luxury hotel, but it’s a great spot to stay in Tokyo.
Wish there were some towel racks in the bathroom.
Japan Family Vacation
Convenient location, but some rooms are dated.
Great hotel with plenty nearby! We had the best time here. Room was spacious and comfortable, subway was conveniently located nearby, and tons of dining options on-site. We ended up changing hotels for another part of Tokyo and I wish we would have just stayed at Keio. Will definitely be back!
It is good hotel conveniently located in Shinjuku very close to main hub Metro station, but it is old and it really depends which wing of the hotel you are staying at. Not a luxury hotel, but overall it is a good place to stay.
Large hotel that is pretty close to the Shinjuku train station though the station is quite large so still involves some walking to get to the trains. It’s very close to the Tokyo Metropolitan government building that has the free outlook of the city. Our room was quite spacious with two double sized beds, a closet area, a couch and a bathroom with a shower/tub. We only stayed for one night so didn’t try the restaurants.
I am so glad I decided to book their grand premiere! This place has a stop right in front of the hotel when taking airport limousine bus from a the airport. Also, if you’re doing any of the Disney parks, their good shuttle bus is a nice perk. I want to also, shout out to Watanbe. He was the manager at 10pm at night when I realized I left my umbrella in my taxi and somehow, showed up at our room when my umbrella less than an hour later! So much more I could add. To summarize, service and amenities is unbeatable. I would come back to Tokyo just to stay here.
Great property for sightseeing and family holiday
Further away from the main area in Shinjuku but worth the safety, cleanliness, and quietness.
Filth
It was NOT clean in the bathroom. The floor dirt was there for 3 days and there was something like dead spider which was thete for 3 days and never cleared them.
Hotel is very clean and my room had excellent city view. The location is perfect! Close to everything. The staff was very polite and helpful. We love the stay!
I enjoyed my stay here.
Fantastic hotel. All staff were amazing and helpful. Beautiful hotel. Rooms good size for Japan. Very close to all types of food and shopping. Very close to subway and Train station.
We had an excellent experience at Keio. The location is very convenient, the staff and helpful and the place is spotless. We had a large room and bathroom especially for Tokyo. The only negative is that the rooms and hotel are a bit dated in style but everything is very well maintained. We would stay again
Highly recommend this hotel! Friendly staff and are willing to help when your Japanese is not good!
Friendliness and service of the staff and the food/drinks in the lounge
Location was close to main station and the size of the room is larger than most Japanese hotels which was great.
Beautiful property, got to be on the 25th floor and saw mt fuji at sunrise.incredible!
Wonderful experience staying at Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo. Facilities are so clean. Great location. Close to Shinjuku station, lots of restaurants and shops nearby.
What an amazing property. Great spacious room, convenient location, excellent service, and steps away from the subway. Will stay here again and highly recommend this hotel!
Conveniently located right next to Shinjuku subway station, easy to go to anyway via subway. Direct airport shuttle to this hotel is a great plus. Tons of restaurant inside the subway and pretty high quality Breakfast with good variety.
Best Hotel in Shinjuku
Wonderful experience. Been to Tokyo 15 times and will only stay at Keio Plaza
Well equipped for a hotel with good living space.
Fabulous hotel!
Bathrooms need to be upgraded asap. Room decor is a bit drab.
Excellent stay on Club floor. Good rooms and service
Very nice hotel and staff, quiet location
Great service and staff at this classic fancy hotel. Good location as well, in a quiet area but only a 10min walk from Shinjuku station. Bonus: right next door to the Tokyo metropolitan government building so you can pop over to watch the night projection ‘show’ on the building in the evening.
Our second time staying here. First time was on 4 Mar 2015.This time was on 29 Oct 2024, all with 3 people staying for 7 nights. Last time, we stayed at South Wing , so we preferred Main Tower while booking. We received a confirmation email saying that our request has been updated. The new itinerary was # 72774811070234. We checked in at 3:00 pm but we received a room at South Wing. Thank you for the reception front desk staff and the manager helping to change. That’s an excellent customer service. They also arranged housekeeping to set up a third bed for us later. That’s a perfect arrangement. We enjoyed all the nights there and I’d highly recommended Keio Plaza Hotel to anyone. We’ll come back when we visit Japan again.
room space was big.
Pretty much all the staff except one senior guest service was not so much.
Perhaps a little too big.
Nice and clean and excellent staff!!
The Keio Plaza is located in an excellent walkable area, beatiful neighborhood, and also close to shopping and dinning area. The personal and staff at the hotel are super nice, excelent service, excelent breakfast and service in the dining areas and in all areas. I loved the stay in this hotel, also very convinience to take the tour bus, and the limosine bus to the airports.
The most convenient thing about this hotel was how it offered shuttle services to and from Haneda Airport as well as Tokyo Disneyland. In addition, it’s a walkable distance to Shinjuku station and is surrounded by many local businesses that you can explore during your stay there.
Close to 3 subway stations Tochomae, Nishi Shinjuku and Shinjuku stations There are limousine bus services to and from Narita and Haneda Renovated rooms have shower and Japanese baths. Hotel very nice, clean and service excellent.
Good location
Newly renovated rooms. Very clean. Spacious for Tokyo. Staff were very helpful
we are returning guests due to it’s convenient location to shopping, dining and access to the airport bus right at the hotel. One minus point , two male hotel staff in uniform approached us and sounded very unhappy when they saw us packing our stuff on an empty table placed near the washroom in hotel’s South Wing. They told us we shouldn’t be using this table but there were no signs to indicate it can’t be used. If the hotel does not want their guests to use the table they should store it away. After we left, i saw another two locals placing their briefcase on that table.
Japan adventure
Our first time to Japan. I can say the hospitality at the hotel was amazing. Everything was excellent from customer service to housekeeping outstanding
Everything is Great. Just a bathing room has a little bit inconvenient.
Wonderful after check in
Slow and unhelpful check in and reception generally. Great room if a little dated, great location, lovely bars and lounges, efficient pleasant staff
Great hotel
Perfect part of Shinjuku for family. Next to a smaller train station and short work to Shinjuku station. They give us kids amenities knowing we have kids with us. They also offer free shuttle bus to and from Disneyland Japan and also have bus to the air port right at the hotel (with fee) Would totally stay here again.
Recommend a coffee shop and cafe inside the hotel.
Booked this hotel because it is a Disney good neighbour hotel and the shuttle bus to Disney resorts. Loved our view of the Metropolitan Building and having a front row seat to the building’s projections. The hotel is very large so there was long queues for check-in and breakfast.
Great property close to Shinjuku station and some of best parts of Tokyo. Grand Premier access was well worth it to have complementary breakfast available so you could get out and explore the city.
Very convenient and clean. Staff are very helpful.
Very nice, great service and convenient to several Shinjuku stations. Couple of blocks to loads of restaurants.
Good
Simply superb: location, room, comfortable bed, sparkling clean, very helpful and friendly reception, waiters.. it would be my only place to stay next time I am in Kyoto. Highly recommended.
The hotel is only about money
The staff at the club lounge were rude and unhelpful even after i have booked 15 premier grand club lounge rooms. we were asking if we can be on the same floor for our 2 rooms for our family and they would not accomodate and even lied by saying that the 40th floor were all suites, when they were not.
The hotel is very nice. The room we stayed in could use a bit of an update. The mattresses are not pillow top and could be upgraded. As well, it could use new carpet or flooring. Carpet was worn and a bit dirty, especially for the cost of the rooms.
Convenient location. Walkable to significant sites. Loved the VIP lounge.
Awesome family friendly location
Nice location, outdated bathroom. Sink was peeling away from the counter.
Everything was above extant perfectly located by train station without any noice whatsoever
Loved the staff, the restaurants on the lower floor, especially the incredible breakfast buffet
