The lobby area is great and looks luxurious, but the rocks at the fountain look rather fake. The TV reception is not good as channels other than CCTVs could not be received. Although the coffee machine in the hall in Nepresso, but the one in the room is not, and the coffee did not taste good, machine is flimsy.

This is our second time stay at this hotel within 30 days. The first time was booked at Gloria Wing, and we thought it is only next building, but actually it is a 10 min walk from the main hotel. This time we booked at the main building, but the hotel still put us at Gloria Wing. Fortunately Marriott rectified and messaged us before we arrived. Everything is good, especially the executive lounge.

5 Star in every way

An amazing hotel with excellent facilities.. Huge gym with all of the right equipment, a lap pool and normal swimming pool. The rooms are very spacious, modern and very comfortable.. Great views if you get a room facing the water. New shopping mall a 2 Min walk and a great shopping mall with lots of restaurants a 5 min walk near Ferris wheel. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly.

Service and attention to detail needs improving

The overall stay was nice. The room was comfortable and clean. It would have been better if the reception staff paid more attention to detail though - they didn't tell us the breakfast times, opening times and services that come with the executive lounge. Food in the lobby cafe and room service is expensive and not really worth the money, but the breakfast buffet was good. Our room was not ready when we checked in so we were just told to wait - again customer service and detail was lacking for a 5 star hotel.

Very convenient

The staff are very friend with the hotel well located. It is very near to a local park which is quite beautiful at night. It was a fantastic experience if you’re walking at night with your loved ones. Close to shopping malls as well

Business trip to Shenzhen

Stayed here for business trip. Top notch service and amenities. A bit far from downtown but pretty easy to get around. Only issue was WiFi was not great.

Great location and service

The location of the hotel was close to Metro and a large shopping mall with many restaurants. There was a beautiful tree forest park that lit up with lights and music within walking distance between the hotel and the mall. The service was great and would stay there again.

Loved it..!

Everything is perfect, executive floor and services are real a great advantage. Swimming pool in winter is hardly accessible due to air circulation with the outside doors, which are not hermetic, water also too cold which aded to air flow is really unpleasant.

Book for a friend was charged an additional 200$ CAD for no explained reason waiting to hear back from the hotel. Was not security deposit.

Reception and Concierge staff were polite and extremely helpful.

NICE HOTEL WITH GREAT LOCATION

Another nice stay at this hotel. Its in a new upcoming area but handy for most things. Shopping in walking distance with a new Shopping Area across the park. Hotel as always is spotless and rooms superb (probably bit over the top for me!). Will go back as long as I can afford to because this is great value now but when the area becomes busy it will surely charge more.

Stay a night in this hotel during my stay in SZ! Location is average. However, super Nice service! Nice staff and facilities!!! Room is tidy and neat! The bath tub is huge and with view outside! Quite surprise!! Gym is good! Swimming pool is big. So I would Highly Recommended to all of you looking for a hotel in that area!

Fantastic hotel

The hotel is at the heart of Bao'an district. A good location for people who comes for business at Bao'an district. Walking distance to shopping mall where you can shop and eat. The hotel staff are extremely warm and helpful. For example, a staff came to greet us the moment we waited in line for check-in, and she managed to have us checked in immediately. The breakfast buffet is delicious. We had very good stay there.

Fantastic hotel!

Great facilities, modern, clean, artsy, and excellent always helpful staff. The executive lounge is a nice treat that I used every day multiple times. Not a convenient location if you are in Shenzhen for business, but otherwise excellent!

Visit to Shenzhen.

Nothing very special. Language was an issue. Generally clean comfortable room. House keeping need some help understanding your request. WiFi works well. Problem with hotel shuttle service, only once a day. Hotel staff will try to book a car (Very expensive) or taxi. You really need to ask for shuttle to save cost.

Real 5 star

Always 1st class. Food great, room big, clean. Only downsides are expensive to eat (tuna sandwich in the bar around £14) and drink and also a bit isolated (not much in walking distance). Also spa and pool seems a long way from the hotel although it's really worth the walk!

Great service, food excellent

This new hotel is very nice and is a ten min. walk from the nearest subway station. It's 1-2 stops into the heart of Bao'an proper. The staff were excellent, despite limited English, which I didn't mind at all, they accommodated all my requests as best they were able. The restaurant food was great. My room had a fantastic view of Bao'an and the water (19th floor). It's a bit of a wasteland right now and there are zero shops about. In about five years it will grow to be part of the city. It was an easy cab ride to Shenzhen airport and cost 50 yuan. A couple of small things - despite being a non-smoking room, both the corridor on the floor and the room smelled of cigarette smoke. In all of of the pool, the lobby bar and one corner of the large restaurant there is a constant very loud noise of machinery, presumably air conditioning noise. It was very distracting around the outdoor pool and such a shame in the lobby bar which is beautiful and a piano was auto-playing. It is summer so perhaps the air con was just at full blast. Not a problem in my room though. Spa treatments were nice altho was harder to communicate my needs, spa is beautifully laid out.

Staff was professional and extended extra care and support. Accommodations were exceptional.

not so good, far away from anywhere, for those who come to Shenzhen for business ,this a very bad location. More amazing when hotel call a city cab from the street front the all of the sudden cab fare doubles in the meter, just do not know if this is a hotel arrangement or crook employees.

stunning hotel and incredible exec lounge staff

This was one of the most beautiful JW's I have stayed at. The room was super comfortable with an amazing bay view. The staff including the concierge desk and front desk were amazing. Particularly excellent and helpful staff in the executive lounge. While the pool and associated facilities were incredible, my single frustration with the stay (as a North American) was the bizarre demand that I must wear a bathing cap to use the pools. Very very unusual for North Americans or Europeans. That demand ended my pool experience very quickly.

Nice hotel! More international staff needed?

Very nice hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful! The rooms are nice, the pool and other facilities are clean and nice as well. The hotel grounds are well kept and I felt very comfortable everywhere I went in the hotel. I really enjoyed the sauna, steam room and other facilities in the changing room area. Very clean and well kept! The staff are very friendly and they do try very hard. However, they are not strong in English or other foreign languages. I have a Gluten allergy and this was very hard to explain to the restaurant staff and the concierge. While I am just one person and I don't expect an entire hotel to change for me, I do find that it was a difficult task due to the language barrier. I find that other 5 star hotels with international staff tend to be a bit easier to deal with regarding my allergy. Don't get me wrong; the food was amazing! However, I did end up getting very sick as I think the allergy was not fully understood. All in all a great hotel. I am certain that for local clientele there would be no issues at all. For international guests needing a bit more help they may have a hard time due to the language barrier.

Nice rooms, too far from everything

Rooms were in great shape. Good AC. Good fitness center. Friendly staff and their English is ok. There is a non-Chinese person at the front desk, but only sometimes. Wifi was decent (by Chinese standards). However, the restaurants are way overpriced (and nothing to write home about). There is also construction going on everywhere, so there is some noise from outside, but it all stops by 9 or 10pm. Also, while the nearest metro stop is about 700m away, it is absolutely brutal to walk in the summer, when temps are in the mid 90s with 80%+ humidity for a feels like temp of 110+ F. Thus, I ended up taking the taxi/uber everywhere because things are still being built up in the neighborhood, and the nearest restaurants are about 1km away. The distances really are not bad, it's just nasty to walk outside in the summers. Hopefully restaurants and shops will open up closer once the construction is done.

Just a quick 1 night stop. Breakfast was the best I have had from international hotels in SZ

After staying in several Hong Kong hotels prior to my arrival in Shenzhen, the JW Marriott Hotel Shenzhen Bao'an was a pleasant treat, beautifully decorated and very well kept. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Shenzhen.

Good for business trip near Boa'An district

you cannot expect a lot from a neighborhood that is basically industrial, more precisely electronics factories, but it is always good to stay in international brands like Marriott, rather than the locally managed 5-stars hotels.

Fair and need improvement

Hotel is nice in general and breakfast has a lot of selection and tasty. But the room is not clean enough for a 5 star international hotel. Towels are kind of old and dark so it makes the stay not enjoyable. If they improve the cleaniness, it will be a nice hotel to stay.

Excellent hotel in the middle of nowhere

Absolutely fabulous and brand spanking new. Great deco, service and comfort. However, being located in a new district, there is nothing around except for construction sites. Okay for a business stay especially if you want to be near to the airport.

訂房時房型寫是在高層，最後給了七樓的房間，只是在健身房及所有設施後的第一層客房，有點失望。 另外，因為跟隔壁房間是相連房設計，雖然相連門已上鎖，但隔壁房間凌晨時份嘈吵聲不斷，隔音很差，他們房間開門關門無數次，而且聲音就像是有人開我房間門一樣大聲，經常以為有人開我的房門，害我整晚也睡不好。 到早上不夠8時，又嘈醒了。又是開門關門聲.....無奈就早點退房走了

非常好

酒店离欢乐港湾很近，适合散步和带小孩玩。前台很好，帮我们免费升级了房间，透过落地窗可以看到摩天轮。酒店有室内泳池，有标准泳道，游得很尽兴。自助餐也不错。

第二次入住了，整体体验很好，使用了泳池和健身室服务，很整洁管理到位，早餐可以再丰富一些

房間寬躺可以！但冼手間清潔仍有改善空間！早餐安排入座比較混亂！而且食物很快沽清，很久才補上新的。整體仍是可以的。

Der Pool sowie der Spa Bereich sind grossartig. Es gibt viel zum entspannen. Das Frühstück ist richtig gross und bietet eine tolle Auswahl. Leider ist direkt nebenan eine Baustelle, die auch Sonntags um 8 Uhr anfängt zu stören. Da kann man leider nicht ausschlafen, weil es sehr laut ist und man sehr laute und störende Geräusche im Zimmer hört.

行政樓層整體服務水平很高，員工熱誠，盡量滿足客人要求。但食物質量有待提高。

喜歡房內設計及用品 酒店服務態度良好 酒店地理位置較偏僻，附近除了走路17分鐘的壹方城外，基本沒有其他商店。有一家7-11便利店在距離酒店走路3分鐘的地方，可惜我夜晚到達時已關門，非24小時營業。

洗手間夠大又舒服。早餐也很豐富。建議來往壹方城的酒店接駁車班次可以改為半小時一班，而非一小時一班，謝謝！
