Close to the Beach...but nothing special about this property. Cheap but adequately clean.

Shower was very nice.

Mostly a comfortable standard motel room. However, there was an animal scratching in the ceiling space above my head in the early mornings. In addition, the guest in the room next to mine had loud guests after 11 pm and early at 06:00 am.

Didn’t like the small shower stall and the room smelled like bad BO. The AC unit was right above your head while in the bed. Loud so I couldn’t run it. Door was hard to open and close because it was hitting the floor. Again it was cheap so I didn’t expect any more.

Sofa chairs all had a springs that hit the back — Very uncomfortable. Pillows were very flat, windows were dirty. Bed was older and uncomfortable. Pool looked nice and people were using it. Fridge was good. The owner was helpful and started our window air conditioner when we couldn’t get it started.

TERRIBLE BEWARE

This place is NOTHING like advertised. They asked us to fill out all of our personal information which was very strange as we were travelling all week and NOT one place asked us for this information only our license plate number. So we asked to see the room first so he showed us. WHAT A DISGUSTING PLACE. The beds need to be replaced as the sag in the centre and they are basically on the floor. The room also had a odour that turns the stomach. We could not see pay that price for the place so we left. The grounds need a lot of work grass not cut trees need a good trimming. Stay away from this place.

Good place

Beds were so comfortable, staff was amazing but the shower is really small. Also I had to pay $20 more for the same room my sister had as they upgraded me to a room with 2 beds instead of one.

Great value for the money. Very friendly on-site owner. Short walk to the beach and to shopping as well as restaurants.

Awesome weekend

Stay was awesome dated rooms but comfortable saltwater pool was amazing perfect temperature and plenty of accommodation around pool BBQ area was clean and we used it everyday would recommend and would stay there again

Reasonably price and cozy stay

I'd like to preface my review by saying a few things . 1 ) I went with my wife and 2 young kids. 2) i don't leave a bad review unless the service is absolutely horrible. The lady was very nice when she greeted me. The rooms were not big but just enough for my spouse and 2 kids. What i liked about my stay is that she had all the amenities for us to have a comfortable stay. There was always propane in the bbq. The pool is very big and is warm. This is a great stay for people with a family and the price is reasonable. The rooms are a bit outdated but we didn't spend much time in our rooms so that was ok with us. The beach was a 10 min walk and away from all the craziness which again was great for us with 2 babies. I'd would return again.

Interesting place to stay. Welcome was very friendly - but the motel has definitely seen better days. The only real complaint was that the bed was rock hard - I like a firm mattress - but this was like a board. I am sure the price reflects the area - but they would never get away with charging this elsewhere.

My stay here with my kids was pretty good. The staff was friendly, the salt water pool was nice and warm, they had barbecues available for use, just a 10 minute walk away from the beach. My only complaints would be that the wi-fi didn't work most of the time and the shower stall in our room was really cramped.

I was not impressed with my current stay. I had read reviews and it appeared that most rated it well. I found that the room was not very clean - areas did not seem clean, mattress cover didn’t cover the full mattress, knobs in the shower were switched (hot was cold and cold was hot). Wi-fi hardly worked and when it did, it was incredibly slow. The pool looked well maintained but I did not use it. I did not complain about my stay as I was there a short time and most places had no vacancy The manager on site was a sweetheart and very helpful. It was a short walk to the beach. Highly priced for the accommodation.

Very rude and unaccomadating, we were threatened to be kicked out because our 2 friends had come to our motel to pick up there belongings and go back to their own motel, we were not loud or disrespectful in any manner, the carpet floor felt unclean almost damp and the wifi barely existed, in desperate need of renovations. Overall I would not recomend especially if you are under the age of 25 you will be discriminated

Super strict property, felt like living at home with the parents when your 34. I understand having a motel in wasaga beach and dealing with tourists can have its battles but not every person is going to be out of control party animals and shouldn’t have to be treated like such. Especially when the property and rooms it’s self is in the condition it was. Rooms were outdated, shower was rickety and couldn’t tell which was the hot bs cold but it didn’t seem to matter, you only got a mildly warm shower at best unless someone in the motel flushed a toilet then it was freezing. Parking was a nightmare if you have more than one car for your room, luckily we only needed it to crash for one night so we didn’t really care for much as long as the beds worked. Signs for rules EVERYWHERE really ruin being able to enjoy anything they may have to offer. Felt like I was always being watched by the lady on duty. Will not stay again.

Overall a good motel. The staff were friendly, the room was very clean, the pool was nice. It was close to lots of stores and restaurants, and about a 10 min walk from the beach. I only have a couple complaints: the bed was very hard, which aggravated my lower back problems. And the wifi was advertised to work in each room, however it only worked outside and it was slow - not a big deal!

This property is in an incredibly convenient location, you are able to walk to everything. The rooms are spotless and the management is readily available for anything you may need. We were overly impressed with the service and amenities. Would recommend to travellers wanting to visit beautiful Wasaga Beach.

Loved the saltwater pool. Room was quiet, and the owner let us check out one hour later than is usually required. The Motel is definitely dated. When I first walked into the room, I was disappointed, although VERY clean, the carpet was worn, and room was verging on shabby. I felt it was over-priced, but talking to a friend the next day she explained that Wasaga beach is very expensive, which explains the cost.

Customer service was excellent! Tge lady that assisted me was very professional and absolutely pleasant to speak to. The room was clean and the bathroom was was the same. It was a stand up shower not a tub but the bathroom isnt big enough to fit a tub. Overall i had a pleasant stay.

My biggest concern was that the parking lot was not plowed. When we finally found the place, we weren't sure it was open. The entrance and all of the property was under 2 - 3 or more inches of snow. Very unsettling for new comers to the area.

It was a family oriented, clean, affordable, and friendly hotel. Nice staff and a great pool. I would recommend to others who are looking for inexpensive motel.
