This is a great place to stay if you need privacy and tranquility. There’s a pool in the back to use and a small food market close by. It’s nothing fancy but very well kept with a great, comfortable bed, hot water and privacy.

Room was amazing, vista al mar is not anymore because it has a new construction in the front, Rossy amazing person.

The condo was relatively clean and spacious and had everything we needed for a family of 3. We were able to prepare our own meals there and had a comfortable stay. The property could use some maintenance and the condo could use a good deep cleaning. We used the pool which was nice but it could also use some maintenance. The location is outside of the main town which makes it nice and quiet (except for the birds that start waking up at around 5 am) but that means you have to get a taxi everywhere which is not always easy to get and we feel like we wasted a lot of time trying to get back and forth to the property. Rosie was very friendly and helpful with suggesting tour guides and came right away to help us when we had an issue with the oven. If we stayed there again, would probably look into renting an ATV or something similar so we would not have to rely on taxi's.

This is not a hotel and not in downtown. It is 2km from arrival marina. Taxis are hard to get, but try a water taxi to near the Bocas del Toro sign. The unit is spacious and clean.

There was construction in front of the condo. Google maps has it's location wrong. Taxi just dropped us on the side of the road. Got directions from a very helpful local.

The unit was exactly as presented which is a nice feature. Rosy the manageress was very accomondating and very helpful. Rosy made our stay enjoyable.

Rosie was extremely helpful and accommodating. She went out of her way to help us acquire personal belongings that we left behind. She was very responsive and in a timely fashion. Thanks Rosie!

This property did not have clean running water and no solution to fix it. The management even told us first that we had drained the water reserves in a few hours and then told Expedia that the water issue was island wide, which we confirmed immediately to be false. The other apartments in this complex were abandoned with boarded up windows and broken glass. It took myself and 2 children 2 days to finally get approval from Expedia to move to another location. The owner then accused us of leaving the door open which we absolutely did not at any time, and everything was apparently stolen so she is trying to keep our money. Very dishonest listing and management. We have pictures of the poor quality locks, mold, broken furniture and extremely dirty water. Beware! things were stilen.

I liked the walking distances to the beach and the supermarket. The manager/owner Rosy is friendly and reasonable. The rental rates are also reasonable.

Great place to stay, quiet, nice pool, relatively clean. About a 30 minute walk to the port in an area with more locals than foreigners. If you want to be close enough to the action but not too close this is the place to be. One supermarket near by but not any restaurants. However a fully equipped kitchen with all appliances that work. Also many English channels on the TV, a huge plus for me. My only complaint is the wifi wasn't great and a semi ant problem. But I enjoyed the place and kept extending my stay.

This place is a great little out of the way place. Quiet and safe. Rosa was great at check in and was there if we needed anything

Good location, decent price, basic but w/ kitchen

We rented 2 condos for 7 people. The photos were of a newer building next door. Our condos we older, and in need of minor renovations. The window in our bedroom was borded over, for example. However, for the price, and given you can cook family meals together, it is worth the price. Note that grills were advertised as being available on the patios, so we bought meat to grill, but were told that a new law was passed a few months ago that prohibit grills on semi-enclosed places like patios. Also, the water was off from10:30pm to 6:30am due to a water shortage. Bottom line - if you are going to be outside most of the time, this is a fine place, close to Bocas town, short walking distance to a a beach and the Bocoas Del Toros sign. If you are looking for comfort and will be by the pool/in the condos during the day, maybe this place is not for you.

We had a very nice visit. Rosie was super helpful and very sweet. The condo was super clean and someone cleaned it everyday and left coffee for next morning. You can walk to town in about 20-25 min. Cabs are about $2 per person. They rent golf carts and bikes on island but i would reserve ahead. We had a very pretty water view too.

Great little apartment with very friendly staff. Nice location not to far to town but also pretty close to Palm Beach.

Rosie the property’s manager is very nice. She helped us get a taxi and allowed us a late check out. Across the street from the beach. Had a nice balcony with nice chairs were here in December so pleasant outside. Nice clean pool. Kitchen was equipped well enough to make dinner and breakfast for 5 people.

Fantastic holiday!

The hotel met and exceeded my expectations. It was squeaky clean, came with a fully equipped kitchen, and everything worked perfectly. The bed was superb, in a room that came with more than ample storage space for everything: two night stands, a spacious clothing closet and a safe--all for only $55/night.

Needs Maintenance

We loved the location. It is a bit out town but easily accessible. The frequent cabs leave from the gas station next door Rosy was welcoming and helpful and responded to concerns about the internet. However our unit had issues that were not resolved in the 3 nights we were there. For example there was no light in one of the bathrooms and the toilet never did flush properly. The main AC did not work and pool furniture needs replacing. For the amount we paid, we would expect a higher standard.

Not a hotel! Ugly beach!

Very hard to find this condo building. Landlady was cordial but installed me in the room below hers. Lots of noise from nearby ghetto, roosters screaming, children crying, dogs barking all night, landlady sat on her porch and chattered constantly and loudly until 230am. No exaggeration. Hard to find food nearby. Drinking water came from a plastic storage tank, tasted awful. Building surrounded by mud and construction trash. Not worth the price! Watching tv, a cockroach crawled across the screen. I got one hour of sleep, waited until dawn, then had to find a taxi back to the boat dock.

Would Not Return

First let me say that Rosie is a very kind and wonderful person but I feel others need to know what they are really getting into if they are renting Jardine Vista Del Mar. Rosie's service is great and she even let us in at 11 am when Air Panama changed our flight. The area is okay and very safe, the beach is not good. If you are expecting to swim here please be aware the water is black and does not smell good. Walk 15 - 20 minutes up the road for a more swimable beach or go to Skully's. Neighbors dogs bark at all hours which starts the roosters crowing so difficult to get a good nights sleep. We rented the Superior Garden View Unit #1 for 10 nights & condition of unit was not as advertised. I would suggest some updated pictures of the furniture etc so people understand what they are getting. Rattan patio furniture was busted with no cushions, there were plastic chairs to use on the very small patio. Foam couch/sofa bed is very low and uncomfortable. Dining room chairs do not match , 2 wooden and 2 light metal. Unit is very clean which is good. Pool itself is very clean but could use some clean up of the dead fall etc around it to make it more inviting. I would not return to these condos given our experience this time.

Nice place, good location, away from party center

Basic condo with everything you reasonably need. Bed was not very comfortable and really not much seating inside, which was only a factor at night. Check in process not as easy as it could be, but it was fine. We'd stay here again, but if you are looking to be in the center of the action, this is not your place. Cabs are easy to get as you are next to the only gas station in town which is also a little Mini Market with everything you need. AC in living area, but not in the bedroom

A gem in paradise

We read many reviews before deciding to stay and the one constant was the owner, Muhammed. He was very nice and went out of his way to make us feel welcome The place was large and as advertised. Full kitchen great water pressure and even a washer and dryer just outside our unit for a nominal fee. The 2 a/c units did a great job. The bed was comfortable and there was a room safe. The location was perfect if you want to be a little out of Bocas Town. It was a quick .60 cent taxi ride per person and near la bomba gasoline station (the only gas station on the island) so it was always easy to find a taxi.

Nice place with some great balcony views...

Property was in a quieter area just outside of the main town area, but very easy to grab a short taxi ride to the downtown area whenever needed. Although the hotel itself was not the newest or fanciest I have ever stayed in by some margin, it did have undeniable charms. First, the balcony off our room with a sea view was delightful, while the sound of crashing waves could be heard from the other side of the building. Second. Muhammed, the proprietor was a charming gentleman, and was a wealth of information during our entire stay. His recommendations on activities/restaurants were all spot-on, and his advice contributed significantly to our overall successful stay in Bocas.

Great place to stay in bocas

Enjoyed my stay at Jardines. Price was reasonable and located close to everything. Walking distance to a local brewery, and several real good restaurants.

Bocas bargain

Great host who goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. Nice pool. Quiet location across from the beach. Easy walk to town or 60 cent taxi ride. Very clean and comfortable. Nice kitchen and good sized rooms. Wonderful friendly staf.

Accès à l'établissement compliqué car derrière une autre résidence sans aucun panneau ni aucune indication reçue. Le ménage est fait tous les 2 jours. La climatisation de la chambre twin ne fonctionnait plus malgré une première tentative de réparation. Elle fut remise en état pour la dernière nuit. Rozy vous accueille chaleureusement. La plage de l'autre côté est dégueulasse (dechets+algues noires en putréfaction) impossible de se baigner à cet endroit ! Donc l'emplacement de la résidence n'est pas top car il faut se rendre à la plage suivante. Pour se rendre dans le centre de Bocas il faut utiliser les taxis (1$)ou schuttles (0.70$) ! Il manque des ustensiles de cuisine neufs et propres. Globalement l'appartement est correct mais l'emplacement pas au mieux.

Bocas del Toro en familia Costa Rica

La estadía estuvo muy bien, Rosy super antenta y a pesar que el día que llegamos estaba la piscina fuera de funcionamiento; ya para la tarde/noche lo tenia resuelto. Las habitaciones cómodas en general y el a/c funcionando, que era muy necesario jajaja. Personalmente me parecio muy bonito el lugar y si volvería; lo único fue, para mi, algunas sabanas de cama un poco manchadas, pero nada de que preocuparse. La verdad me encanto, me hubiera gustado quedarme muchos mas, porque solo nos quedamos 3 noches. Muchas gracias por las atenciones Rosy y espero volver.

Sabanas rotas, olia a humedad, mal mantenimiento, muebles rotos. La maneger o duena, fumaba en su balcon al lado del nuestro y no se podia sentar uno por el olor a cigarro, ella muy poco professional en el trato y comunicacion.

Excelente lugar para vacacionar

Excelente. La verdad es que el lugar esta bien ubicado, y cuenta con todas las comodidades necesarias para pasar una buena estadía en Bocas del Toro. La atención de la Sra. Rosi es excelente, siempre atenta a nuestros requerimientos. Volveria de nuevo a este lugar. Sobretodo por su relacion calidad/precio.

El Condominio está en un estado muy aceptable, no tiene un rótulo que lo identifique pero tampoco es algo que sea indispensable ya que la referencia de la gasolinera es imperdible por ser la única gasolinera de la zona. Se dispone absolutamente de todos los utensilios para "sentir que se está en casa" el Internet es aceptable aunque un tanto inestable. El acceso a personas adultas o con impedimentos físicos podría ser un tanto complicado porque para los apartamentos no se dispone de ascensor. La Piscina está en excelente estado en todo sentido. La asistencia de la Anfitriona es excelente también, muy clara en las indicaciones y atenta a suplir las necesidades en el horario establecido. Recomendadisimo para vacacionar en familia. Con relación a la playa, aunque está frente a una de ellas y al rotulo "Parador Turístico" de Bocas del Toro", esa playa particularmente no es de las mejores de Bocas, pero el transporte en taxi terrestre hacia el centro de la isla es totalmente accesible y es posible trasladarse en Taxis Acuáticos hacia otras playas por módicos precios.

Aangenaam welkom, eigenares is supervriendelijk en behulpzaam, mooi verzorgd rustig zwembad, ruime kamer. Buurt iets minder aangenaam, redelijk ver van centrum, eetgelegenheid, weggestoken achter tankstation, en parkeerplaats van werkvoertuigen.

Tienen un habiente excelente, tranquilo nada de ruidos para descansa . Todo esta siempre limpio. Esta a unos pocos minutos del Centro de la Isla Te asesora sobre todos los tours y actividades que puedes realizar en la Isla

4 dias recomendable cayo zapatilla y playa la estrella.

Fui en familia muy comodo y bueno la pileta en esa zona un lujo. Muy recomendable. Ir con auto evita pagar las excursiones en la isla.
