Entertain other hotels in the area

First things first, I use to live in the apartment complex years ago across from this hotel and would always have a view of the Marriott hotel. Now that I live in San Diego I stayed here one night after attending a baby shower in the area. Hotel rooms are okay nothing special…. Unfortunately if you are a light sleeper like me you will hear EVERYTHING. So many doors are opening and closing at late hours. I found it very odd to have a drop ceiling in the bathroom with no ventilation….

Nice views. But outdoor pool isn’t warm enough to swim when it’s chilly out. Heard it was heated so disappointing

Staff was incredible. My only and major complaint was the “queen” beds were too small and not very comfortable. If I had other suggestions it would be a fire place in the lobby and also the fire pits outside don’t work well because the flame is too far from the seeting.

Everything was great

This is a great hotel to stay at. We were there for an event the next day on property, and it was so nice being able to just go downstairs the next morning. The ac worked great and the room was clean. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is because there were children running up and down the hallway yelling and pulling on doorhandles until around midnight. We didn't call down to complain or anything, but it was very annoying.

Every staff member was exceptionally kind and helpful, from check-in to the impeccable service at the restaurant. The food was outstanding, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The gym had a Peloton, weight machines, and free weights—better than most hotel gyms. We will definitely stay here whenever we're back in OC for work.

Bed and pillows are really comfortable. Good pool. Didn't like the parking fee. Parking fees are getting outrageous.

Hidden gem. Only disappointment was the construction right at the pool area. It was open, just not aesthetically pleasing. I also called to confirm they had a fire pit and I did not see one, maybe I missed it? Either way , I didn't get the chance to use it. I love the pool and hot tub hours and the comfort of our beds.

Wiw what a nightmare! We have to be up at 5 am and all we here is a nightclub pumping the music for the past few hours with no wnd in sight. Ni answer from “at your service “. What a mistake to stsy here

Liked the space in the room and the refrigeratordid not like that i had to call 3 or 4 times before the frnt desk answered the phone. I baby sat my grandkids on Saturday 25th:so i checked out of my room and moved in with them#1402. I order dinner using the QRCode. Very sissapointed that the kids menu, which offered hamburgers & quesadillas,told me that they were not acailable. If they are not available, they should be taken out of the menu!!! Then i ordered a.n iced tea and got none. But i paid for it. Then i asked for a cesar salad but got no dressing for it. Got 2 container of parmessan cheese but no dressing. I tried calling the restaurat but nothing. I tried calling the front dest but nothing. Technology is great, but the QR order screen has no space for reporting thing wrong or missing in your order. Maybe someghing could be added to the QRCode set up that if your order is incorrect you can otify the restaurant and they can fix the issue.

The staff was great. The condition in and around the property was great. The room rate was a good value. My only complaint would be the cost for parking. At $42/day, I chose to park elsewhere. Fortunately I had that option. I would have considered a different hotel had I not had that option.

Perfect location to stay. Can go north or south to the beaches. Lots of options to dine at. The beds were super comfy!

The information on Expedia did not match availability at the hotel. I paid extra for the m club and the featured amenities were not available at the weekend during our stay. The breakfast was not 4 star standard and boring. I thought I was in a 2 star hotel. I would not pay extra for m club again.

As a family visiting, we enjoyed the pool and restaurant. Parking is a little pricey, but well worth the stay. We highly recommend!

It is located in a very convenient location.

I didn’t like paying $42 for parking. Whatever you don’t make up with a decent room rate you make up with the parking fee. Disappointing.

My husband and I love staying here. We enjoyed everything. The only thing needs improvement is the pool area. Looks old

Thank you for a wonderful stay. Room service was amazing and it was so quiet and peaceful here even with a dance competition going on.

Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience. We had a mobile key to our room but walked in on another family at 11 pm. Once we got a new room, there was a huge pile of hair in the shower. The staff were friendly but didn’t offer much to address these issues.

No hot water at shower, toilet not working

was at room 302, the toilet hard to flush, and then the shower has no hot water, I have to re-dress and call the front desk request room change, said some one will come up deliver the new room key, 30 min later, no one come, I went down ask for help, the front desk said there is no one check in at 302, after giving my name said was at room 406

Too bad

The first floor is beautiful which we couldnt wait to get into our room. But what a disappointment as our room consisted of two beds which seemed like twin size. My husband and I are on the smaller size so we barely fit on these beds, no way could someone of a larger frame feel any comfort in these beds. We had our two smaller boys on other bed. The restroom barn door did not close completely so not much privacy. Light was sensored so any time someone got up at night light turned on. Decided to have a meal in restaurant which came to see that each beer was at $10. We are talking basic beer, nothing apecial. Had we known that we would of just dranked what we had in our ice chest. We paid way less for a beer at the beach front restaurant we visited. Wow!!! Pool was under construction which was a shame. Well now have crossed this off my list, sorry. Feel most of the interest of hotel is invested on first floor to impress the guest but not much on the rooms and food prices quite high which made us have our next meal out of hotel.

We always book Marriott even if the cost is a bit more because they typically have nice beds and pillows which can make your entire vacation much better. This particular Marriott was not like the rest. Bed was not good at all and the pillows were absolutely horrible. Very small and no support at all. After a horrible nights sleep, I turned on the shower and it literally took close to 5 minutes to get any warm water with the lever all the way to hot. I could have booked a cheap motel for half the price and had the same experience. Avoid Avoid Avoid!

Main reason we booked this property was for the pool and hot tub unfortunately it was closed down until may for renovation, it would have been nice to have a heads up on the website considering the pice we pay for this hotel.

Love this property! They even helped me check in early with no fee. Price of room was great! Super clean, comfy rooms. Just a heads up, there is a nightly parking fee of around $40. I plan on staying there again!!

I had lost my wallet and the front desk went out of their way to ensure I could still check in while insisting to protect my security. They allowed for me to pay with a credit card number by filling out a confidential form. They were so apologetic like it was their fault but of course it wasn’t. They also gave me a lovely gift pack for my dog with treats, a little blanket, and poop bags for him. He was the star. Then on top of everything, they put me in a phenomenal room!!! I love this place!!

It was a nice hotel but I checked in on the mobile app and I ordered the anniversary package which was supposed to be in the room when we got there and it was $75 but I had to tell my husband about the surprise so he could go down to the desk and ask them why it wasn't in our room. Apparently they weren't prepared for their app check-in so they didn't understand what my husband was talking about. Also on their website, it says the pool is closed but said nothing about the hot tub and I had booked this hotel to relax in the hot tub with my husband for our anniversary and I also talked to the live chat on the hotels website that assured me it was just the pool that was closed, but it was indeed the hot tub as well. Other than that we had a nice trip. Was clean and close to our destinations.

We came to this Marriott because it was conveniently located to the airport, as well as the places in Irvine that we were visiting. Great hotel with a Starbucks in the lobby for a quick, inexpensive breakfast. Only negative was the absolutely exorbitant overnight (daily) parking rates for hotel guests. The per day parking was actually higher $ than my per day luxury car rental cost. Ridiculous and unnecessarily punitive.

Customer service was excelent. I have stayed here many times and this was the first time that the bed looked like if the bedsheets were not changed. But as soon as I told the front desk person, they sent somebody to clean the entire room.

Irvine Marriott is always my go to. Never had an issue. However, this time. The service was what I would have expected. Upon checking in, the reception desk person was not friendly. She asked for my name and an id. She then proceeds to asked if I booked recently, which I booked this room mo the prior to our arrival. I booked a double bed room for myself and family. She tells me they are sold out of double beds and can do a king instead. I was confused on how they sold out of double beds if that was what I originally booked. She then leaves and speak with someone else and comes back and says she’ll just take a room from another person. She gave us the key and sent us on our way. No water no nothing. The whole interaction was so cold and not what I expected from a Marriott hotel that is $350/night. Upon getting to our room. There was hair on the bathroom doors and the floors were sticky.
