I loved the view from which our balcony provided. Also the comfort and warmth we felt from employees and especially the front desk manager. She was very friendly, kind and helpful. This is for sure a yearly stop for us. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family.
Just be carefully booking at this property, the lady in charge at the office is very rude and treat people very bad with no intentions of customer service. Nice place, just need a better customer service.
Amazing views
Amazing views, chic, very well maintained, really helpful, friendly staff. Only downsides - the pool had been drained, as it was out of season and the breakfast was identical each day. Santorini was very quiet in March, which was great, note that there are only a few restaurants open, although those that were open were excellent. Recommend Kokkalo and Triana Tavern both on main road, 10-15 mins walk.
The staff at this hotel go well above and beyond for what you need. Maria and Athena were amazing to dealing with our requests.
Need more options for breakfast
We had a great time there, The view from our room was spectacular. I would recommend this place
They knew there was an STATE OF EMERGENCY in Santorini and even knowing that they will not refund their guest fees for a hotel that was never use. Will not book with them again.
Beautiful picturesque hotel & spa!
Best view , best experience, walking distance to Fira city , great breakfast, amazing people, specially “Noman” who is one of the best employee I can ever imagine, very helpful towards quest
Christina the receptionist was amazing. She went above and beyond to make sure I had everything thing I needed.
Was here on a solo trip for 5 nights didn't do any activities just came to rest and the hotel offered just that very quiet at this time of the year which I preferred. Hotel was aestetically pleasing and had fantastic views and lots of areas to take pictures. However breakfast was a major let down had to skip it for the last 3 nights. Also we didn't have electricity for 4 hours on one of the days as well as no water was running the last day of my trip and had a flight very early. Luckily I showered the night before but other guests who had the same flights as me all complained about it not having water to take a bath in the morning which was really inconvenient not getting the service we fully paid for.
Stayed at Ira hotel, located in the Firostefani town, with my wife for 5 nights during our winter stay in Santorini. The hotel is located along the cliff on the caldera and therefore provides the most stunning views possible. Our room was the most exclusive room located at the very bottom of the hotel which granted us total privacy (no neighbors), a large hot tub and the most stunning views imaginable. Our main gripe with the room was that the bathroom (sink and shower) water took forever to get warm and would only get luke warm which was never warm enough to our liking. We also wish the hot tub got warmer but the temperature was not adjustable. Last gripe was that the included breakfast was just ok. That said, the service was superb. We only really interacted with 2 people during our entire stay. The young man who carried out luggage and served us breakfast was very quiet and polite. Christine, the hotel manager in the reception office, was very kind and super helpful. She gave us her Whatsapp #, recommended restaurants, helped us book a rental car and even gave us a ride down the road to a restaurant on our first night which was cold and wet. The hotel is located right along the popular hiking trail which was very convenient. Be mindful that there are lots of steps and stairs in this hotel in order to get around. Overall, we loved our stay here and don't know how we're ever going to top or even match the views we got here. Highly recommended!
Very clean with a stunning view, a delicious and well-varied breakfast, and exceptionally friendly and attentive staff.
It was amazing I thank so much Kristen for hospitality she was so nice and accommodating, helping us book cabs
Great hotel, perfect spot. Great spot.
Beautiful hotel with an amazing receptionist. The staff are really friendly too. The views are spectacular and the cleanliness is top tier. I definitely recommend this hotel.
Lovely place to stay and great location and also the views are amazing!! Clean rooms and very lovely friendly staff!! Bed matress were too soft to sleep and as personally prefer firm, otherwise everything else was great!
We were at the pool level and had a fabulous view of the town and the caldera. There were loungers outside and a small table and chairs. But, we had to go up and down approximately 5 flights of stairs to get to our unit. There are lots of units higher up, so ask for one of those if steps will be a problem. unit. Our room was on two levels with 3 tall steps to the bed. Both areas were very small and the bed took the upper level with only about 14 inches around the bed. It was very tricky to get to the bathroom from the far side of the bed, especially since there is a low railing, about mid thigh at the foot of the bed.. There was only one night table. Our unit is not shown in the photos. The staff were awesome, especially Christina. It was very clean. I wouldn’t stay in the room we had again, but it was one of the few at the pool level.
Saw one of the most breathtaking sunset view from our room and the staff especially Christine was really kind and helpful, assisted us with planning our days around the island. The hotel is very quiet, tidy and rooms are spacious with good amenities.
Stayed at Ira out of season so many places and facilities were closed but we enjoyed our stay. The view is fantastic, from the pool, the lounge. Our room was cute and cozy, it was perfect for our short stay. Breakfast is included but small because of the season, i guess it will have more choices during peak season. Pool are is small but nice and great view ...we really didnt swim at this time of year. Overall very happy of our stay here.
Soooo beautiful!
My husband and I enjoyed the gorgeous sunset from our bedroom balcony. The manager Christine made our short stay here very memorable as she listened & gave us a very warm welcome. The staff were very polite and hospitable, The breakfast was delicious and fresh . The guy that served us breakfast was very nice too. We also had spa massages here and Moss the masseuse was amazing, she was pleasant and very polite . I'm so happy I picked this hotel , it met my exact expectations when I made the reservation because it's not very pricey and the view is amazing! The staff made a difference for sure !
You get the Santorini’s sunset view! ⭐️ Christine is super, very accommodating! Would love to come back.
The receptionist was amazing, she was on point. The best! very helpful..
Staff was excellent
The hotel is beautiful, with a great view of the caldera. It is perfectly located, walkable distance to Santorini's center, but distant enough if you prefer some peace and quiet. It's also very close to the Skaros Rock, which is a must-see and makes for a good little hike. The hotel is super clean, the common areas and the rooms as well. Extremely clean actually. Our room was very spacious, with a breathtaking view of the caldera from our balcony. The bed was very comfortable and bedsheets super soft and cool through the night. The shower was huge, I mean HUGE. Felt like an ancient bathhouse, beautiful. The hotel has a very small, yet extremely efficient and friendly staff. Everyone was super helpful, talkative and smiley. A small detail but it made a huge difference in the experience was the fantastic playlist they have in the pool area, it completes the vibe. I shazamed a few songs, but I wished I had that whole playlist. 100 recommended.
Great location, friendly staff!
have option for hotel transfer, not cheap but convenient. Staff was very friendly and professional, ready to help answer questions. breakfast buffet was adequate, but nice. only complaint was water pressure sometime not available. highly recommend ira hotel and spa for anyone need a cheap hotel but 5 star service. can't beat the price for the view of the ocean and caldera.
To many staircases.
We had a good time. Excellent view of the caldera from our balcony. Great staff specially Evi.
Beautiful views, friendly and attentive staff. Great location. No complaints.
First the positive. Clean, well organized property. Christina is an excellent host. We arrived on 1 November, the day after many businesses shut down until the 7th month season starts in April. As a result the hotel was short staffed. I would discourage anyone with mobility issues or seniors to seek accommodations elsewhere since there are many steps and few handrails leading to the rooms. Additional handrails would certainly help. Included Greek breakfast was excellent. Property is somewhat isolated, requiring the need for a taxi to Oia or other areas of the island. We experienced several power outages, mostly of short duration. All that said, the view of the Caldera from our room balcony was outstanding.
The view is amazing you see the sunset 😍 and place is very close to Fira where all restos and boutiques. Very clean, quiet and staff was very helpful. Breakfast with a view would have been amazing but all in all i recomend here. And will probably come back
Me and my friend had the best time
Hotel was lovely. The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. The breakfast menu did not have as many varieties that I would have wanted. The dinner menu was very good and the food from the menu was delicious.
Superb!
My husband and I had an amazing short break staying at the Ira. The hotel was perfectly situated in a quiet area that was easily walkable into the centre of Fira. The staff were amazing and very accommodating…especially, as we took advantage of not having the kids, and enjoyed several late mornings in bed. I would highly recommend the Ira and would definitely stay again.
Loved it
Perfect spot, convenient for both sides to explore Fira. Less crowd, very clean, warm and very accommodating and welcoming staff. Spectacular view to the Caldera. Highly recommend this place!
Amazing place amazing staff amazing environment
Fabulous location, wonderful and helpful staff particularly Evie and Abid, and we hope to come back soon. Thank you for making our stay very memorable.
Everything is excellent in this place! Highly recommended! Thank you Evie for all the great support you have provided us!
Excellent stat for two nights in Santorini.
Stafff was so friendly and excellent rooms overlooking the pool and sea
Wonderful stay at Ira Hotel!!
Evi was so friendly and helpful! We loved our stay. Beautiful hotel with beautiful views. We would stay here again, but maybe get a room with a bathroom on the same level!
Quiet hotel ideally situated
Well located hotel a short walk down a scenic from the bustle and eateries of Fira. First rate breakfast provided and rooms spotlessly clean with great view of caldera and sunsets. Staff very friendly. Swimming pool not very big and carrying bags down steps a challenge - but overall a great experience.
Beautiful place, friendliest staff & very helpful
Amazing view from the pool. Staff was pleasant and attentive. Short walk into town. Would definitely stay here again.
Amazing experience! Very clean, comfortable, and friendly. Staff was incredible! Location was very convenient for getting to all the parts of the island. Would definitely stay here again!
Excellent
A beautiful hotel with the most amazing sunsets. Lovely breakfast and stunning pool area. Very attentive staff. Walking distance to dining, shops & transport. Highly recommend.
We absolutely loved our stay at Ira! We felt at home and the staff was so kind and attentive. We loved how close the hotel is to all of the shops and restaurants near by. It was perfect! Would highly recommend and definitely want to come back in the future!!
I love the uniqueness of the layout. Definitely not a place to stay if you have mobility issues. I would have loved to enjoy a lobby area. The lounges were nice but wasn't regularly checked so that guest could Order food. I had to request ice from the kitchen so that was a little Inconvenient. House keeping wasn't paying attention to detail, floors weren't swept. Otherwise it was perfectly located. The view from Our room was excellent.
Great property. The pool was small. Walking distance to shopping area and dining.
The photo on website was totally different than our room. The response was we did not get that particular room. Website said 402 Sq ft, it was nowhere near that. When Expedia called the hotel, Ira hotel hung up on Expedia representative. We asked to change rooms, they said totally booked, we found another room at hotel online available. The Ira Hotel lies. They would not work with us, staff lady was rude. Also, glass shower within 12” of bed! Not in bathroom, lukewarm water, poor quality towels- very scratchy. Comforter lots of pilling, old and cheap. SO DISAPPOINTED! Not sure why it was called a spa. Also, draperies off the track. It is lower level hotel, not a nice hotel or luxury hotel as advertised.
To much stair
Staff were super nice and helpful.
Property was lovely and in a great location. The customer service was amazing which they are so friendly to help and made our trip a lot more enjoyable as recommended amazing places. The views are also stunning. Would have given 5 stars however was overcharged on the room bill by 4 euros for something we didn’t have and didn’t get a refund. However overall was amazing
The people working during our stay was so lovely and welcoming. Our room was very clean and smelled wonderful. We also had a breathtaking view of the sea. The restaurant in the property was delicious and so was our breakfast! We will certainly return here the next time we visit Santorini. Thank you to the staff for making our experience one to remember
Stayed for 1 week and the staff and area was amazing, no issues to complain about staff was very friendly and helpful at all times of the day.
The ira hotel is absolutely incredible, the views are spectacular! Special thanks to Natassa and Evi at the reception desk for all their help before and throughout our stay!
The staff went above and beyond at this property to ensure my partner and I had everything we needed. The property itself is drop dead gorgeous.
Amazing stay! Property is very well maintained, close to everything and the staff is amazing!
This property is absolutely fabulous with amazing views. Even if you have a room without a view of the water, you can just take a few steps to the lounge area to sit and/or dine to soak in the beautiful sites of the sea. The property is modern and peaceful. The staff is superb. I would most definitely stay here again.
Santorini trip
Great hotels great views & great staff
I love that its not a large hotel. Staff was amazing, food and service. Roooms are very unique.
I loved staying at the Ira Hotel. Friendly staff and great service. Would definitely stay here again!
Excellent location and amazing service
The location is excellent within walking distance to nice restaurants. The staff is very attentive and caring specially Evi who made our stay extra special ! Thank you Evi.
Very beautiful resort, beautiful pool, beautiful view, Continental breakfast very good scenery beautiful staff a little bit of help not bad but not great
Loved our one night stay at Ira Hotel. Great views, great property with a pool and a rooftop to watch the sunset. Easily walkable to the hot posts in the area while being quiet for a good sleep. Communication was great with the staff and helping us with hotel transfers.
The receptionist during the day was sweet, helpful and always happy. Made our stay better!!
Great place to stay, would definitely stay again.
Fantastic hotel, the views are spectacular and staff are all lovely. There is a pool and plenty of sun loungers. It is not a big hotel and does not feel remotely crowded or busy which gives the hotel a laid back and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel is situated 10 minutes walk away from the busy areas of Fira which we saw as a positive being away from the hustle and bustle.
It was quiet, staff was great and breakfast was included! We got a room with a view and it was awesome!!
Home away from home when in Santorini!
I left knowing I made the best choice with accommodations in Santorini! I had a wonderful time and was treated like family! My only regret was leaving Ira! Evi’s suggestions of activities were perfect! In a short amount of time I had a fantastic time! Thank you all! ❤️
Just super! I couldnt ask for a better hotel! Staff are all very courteous and helpful.
Really lovely property tucked away north of Fira, right on the Caldera path. Amazing views of the Caldera and northern Fira, a lovely bar with great cocktail selections and sunset view, and very spacious elegantly appointed modern rooms. Friendly staff as well. A pleasure!
Amazing stay. The view is absolutely stunning. The young lady at the front desk is fabulous and takes care of every need. Had ATV’s delivered to us within 5 minutes of ordering twice and arranged our transport to ferry as well. The place is quiet and 2-3 min walk to restaurants and shops so perfectly placed just outside all the tourists. Highly recommend!!!
We stayed at the No. 1 room and it can get a bit loud since it is close to the reception. Other than that, no other issues. Excellent staff service.
Location is perfect close to all shopping and restaurants. Staff staff very friendly. I would definitely stay again.
The staff of the hotel, specially Natasha, were amazing! She helped us book a Santorini tour although it was very last minute and we had a great time at the private tour we ended up booking. The area is great as well, I will definitely be coming back
It was a beautiful property with plenty of space in the rooms. I will say its quite annoying that you have to go to front desk everytime you need to get an iron because they dont keep one in the room. First hotel I've ever been to that doesnt have one in the room for guest. The pool is very nice but you literally have to wait forever for someone to service for drinks. Then we asked for a bucket for ice and it seemed like a problem. The breakfast in the restaurant was decent but not a ton of options. Its a beautiful hotel but for the price service was not great.
Wet close to the coffee shop restaurants stores
Excellent place to stay. Staff is so sweet and very helpful with arranging everything from pick up, restaurant reservations and excursions. Very relaxing and the resort is beautiful! A quick walk into town and very safe area! Definitely recommend.
This is a wonderful location, very walkable to great restaurants, and shopping. The hotel was lovely with a great, small sundeck and pool. The views from the hotel are SPECTACULAR. The beds were comfortable; rooms were spacious, the patio was awesome. The best part though was the people working. They are so nice and accommodating. Eva and Thanos were terrific.
Everything was perfect!
Loved Ira. We did the executive suite and it was well worth the price. Staff was unbelievably friendly and accommodating. Our massage was incredible!!! Cons: So. Many. Stairs. Couldn’t check in early
Honeymoon experience turned sour
Firstly, I want to highlight the positives about this property. I believe in honesty, so I will also share my overall feedback. The front desk staff, particularly the ladies, were friendly and welcoming, always maintaining a smile. The breakfast they served was delightful, and the gentleman assisting in the restaurant was commendable. Additionally, the view from the honeymoon room was breathtaking. However, there were several issues that overshadowed our experience. My wife and I felt that the rooms were inadequately cleaned, with visible stains and we had to contend with numerous bugs and ants whose source remained a mystery. We resorted to placing towels under the doors to keep them out. One of the most frustrating aspects was the frequent water shut-offs; on two out of three days, the water stopped unexpectedly while we were showering, without any prior warning from the property. Each time we contacted the front desk, we were told that maintenance had been informed. It was also surprising to learn that the property had to fill the water tank daily—something unexpected for what we anticipated as a high-end resort. The hot tub on the balcony was disappointing as well; it wasn't heated properly, and the timer on the bubbles only allowed for a short 15-minute session, which detracted from the romantic experience we were seeking. Furthermore, the room service was subpar; we repeatedly had to call to request additional towels and toilet paper. Having to request is pretty bad.

Wonderful stay!
We really enjoyed our stay here! The staff were amazing and so incredibly helpful and kind! The pool and the view were amazing and was a great location! Simple and elegant, well maintained property. Really great value in Santorini!
Very friendly staff. Delicious breakfast including local favorites.
The staffs are very friendly. The views not too good.
Amazing Caldera views and superb amenities, friendly and helpful staff, all around great hotel!
Great location easy access
Beautiful and incredible
Our experience here was amazing. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and in an amazing and quiet location - fairly close to Fira but far enough away to be much quieter and peaceful. The pool has the most incredible view, ambient music, and comfortable lounge area. The staff is beyond incredible. Everyone works so hard from the reception to the man working at the breakfast room and pool area - they made the experience so special. We highly reccomend this hotel to anyone!
The Ira was the perfect location, amazing views of Thira and the caldera and walking distance from the town. Our room was pretty but it was split level as it’s built into the hillside but with limited space around the bed. The hotel staff were lovely but it was sometimes quite hard to find someone to ask for pool towels or a drink. However we would definitely stay there again due to the location and overall experience.
This property is beautiful, the views are great, and the pool area is lovely. The best part of the stay was by far the friendly staff. The breakfast director, he was incredible, sweet and kind - I would certainly rate him a 10/10. The one negative is it seems ownership may be starting to neglect maintenance, my TV mount had failed and the staff had placed a spoon inside the mount to hold it in place, I actually laughed. I do know that sometimes staff do the best they can whenever ownership restricts them with budgets and become extra greedy. Hopefully they will be sure and maintain the property because it is amazing.
Location, location, location
Excellent views but all these types of hotels on the cliff require that you be in somewhat physical shape. I liked that it was not too close to the cruise ship landing.

We had a room that faces the ocean, it was beautiful. We could see sunset from our room. Quiet neighborhood. The only thing we didn't like about the property in general was that there were so many steps everywhere, even in your own room; but I wouldn't blame them for that, because the property was built on the cliffside.
