Beautiful hotel very convenient location with amazing staff. Rooms are very quiet with great showers and comfy beds. Would definitely stay here again.
Great stay & Staff!
Amazing Staff
Great location with amazing staff! I was kind of a hot mess when I got there and the guys at Valet just took over and got me quickly to my room with bags in tow!
It’s a lovely place to stay and bonus is it’s across the street/walking distance to the cruise ship terminal.
Beautiful stay beautiful views beautiful staff
Great hotel
Great place
This hotel was great. This was a 5 star stay. Las Vegas should take notes on how to treat people.
Great service, quite and safe
Convenient location
Great hotel. Perfect location. Best service.
Everything was what was shown in photos. Extremely convenient location and excellent facilities. They have a starbucks downstairs and a convenience store right by it. Would visit again.
It was very nice
The staff makes the difference at this property. Wonderfully trained!
Great hotel, pricy resort fee.
Great stay, excellent hotel, beautiful location--15 min walk to convention center. The resort fee seemed excessive. $50 a day for... internet? They did return $22 a day if we spent more than that at the hotel bar, but still. Also, our room came with breakfast (up to $60), but then they charged $6 for coffee, $8 for juice, and we tipped on the $60 credit, but they still billed $10 to the room for the tip?
Great staff,
Great Hotel
The staff was very friendly and attentive. The room was clean and very comfortable. We had no complaints. We would definitely stay there again.
Excellent
Professional and courteous
Very nice property right across from the San Diego bay. The hotel is very clean, the staff is very polite, and there is a lot of good food in the area.
Best view
The best view in San Diego the best service and the best staff
Beautiful San Diego hotel
Perfect ! Gorgeous hotel
Front desk very professional and very pleasant. Beautiful hotel and walking distance to several eateries.
Thank you for having valet being very professional
Great weekend stay!
Only negative pay to park. Everything else 5 star
Everything was great. Only thing I didn’t like is the guests bringing their dogs.
Location, Location, Location!!!! Excellent
good location
This is an awesome hotel. The staff super friendly and helpful, the view wonderful the rooms are the best! From now one of my favorites in the world
We had another great stay at IHG San Diego. Hotel, staff, facilities were excellent and the club room was worth the upgrade. Just as good as our previous stay.
Beautiful room, nice view, easy running trail along the bay. Only issue were homeless but honestly, that is every city in California these days and the unhoused individuals were very lowkey. Highly recommend and worth the cost.
Great and convenient location
Great property with easy drive to and from airport
Good property and service
This is a convenient property in the San Diego Bay Area. Great location.
Great area!
A very nice Hotel located perfectly for holidaymakers to San Diego. We enjoyed the pool, happy hour and appreciated the comfort of our room. Great to be located so close to US Midway and some very nice dinner spots on the harbour. We would stay again in a heartbeat ….
Great hotel, will definitely come back. Staff was excellent, location is fantastic, water view with walkable areas, breakfast outside, on the patio of Vistal was great.
Room service took fofever to come but did a good job once they came. Gym is excellent. The resturant was OK but very pricey. It would be nice to use the daily credit for room service vs having to go to the dining area. All areas were clean, room was really dusty! Wish the pool wss bigger but its Ok!
Good
I was there to visit colleges with my daughter. This was our first visit. Everyone was super helpful. The room was a good size and clean.
Wow, what a beautiful property! The location is just perfect. We love the area and how everything is so walkable.
Awesome staff. Never brought me a toothbrush tho
My television in the living room didn’t work for the last 24hrs of my trip. With a newborn it left us all cramped in the bedroom. I understand moving rooms would have been hard, but to not have a backup TV anywhere on property to bring into our room was unfortunate. Would not of paid for a suite had I known this. Property and staff were great.
We just came down for the night and we had a very nice room with views of the bay and the city. The room was extremely clean and the staff was excellent. Parking was easy and close to many restaurants. They also have a very nice bar and we were served by Clayton, she was excellent.
It was really nice
good
Very elegant hotel! Would book again.
We loved the area and the views were wonderful Everyone was helpful and so kind.
The property had a great view of the bay, when you walk into the lobby it just smells clean and like a 5 star hotel. The staff was very helpful and kind. I forgot a contact case and one the staff had an extra and gave it to me to make sure I was taken care of. The roof top pool was relaxing, and beautiful to stare into the bay as sun sets. The rooms were very quiet. I never heard any one next door or above or below us. Overall an amazing experience staying here. Will stay next time also!
Loved the view from my room, it looks out to the water and the USS Midway. Very easy parking, and Starbucks right underneath the property. I felt the area was very safe to walk around with my young kid.
calming and beautiful great food
Great location, walkable to many sites. Public transportation nearby. Beautiful inside.
Great service with a super accommodating staff, highly recommend!
Solid
Nice and well located hotel
Don’t stay here. They will tell you parking is free when you check in and then charge you a $195 parking and amenities fee days after you check out
We recently stayed for a week at the property. The staff were very nice, full marks on their friendly service. If I had to share one thing that bothered me is the usage of the pool. In the room on the tv, the hotel info states "24 hours". We figured it was an error because we had never seen that before. By the pool I believe there was a sign that stated it was open until 10pm. But the fact was it closed at 6pm. Now, this hotel has a HIGH resort fee at close to $50 extra per night. We expected to be able to explore the city during the day and have a cool dip at the end of our day. Now, right across the way at the Springhill Suites, they have the pool open until 10pm and it was a big downer looking across and seeing their guests enjoy the evening and we were out of luck. Servers, bar open, I think they were even playing some sort of trivia game with their guests. We felt a bit jealous. I can't believe we were the only ones disappointed or even annoyed by this.
👍
so far so good, not the best.
Pool was really small. Very poor experience in room service. Had to ask 4 times for them to clean the room and bring clean towels!
Solo get away.
Had a lovely weekend stay at the intercontinental San Diego. Great location, walking distance to many of the great attractions of the downtown area. I enjoyed getting out for morning runs and hanging out by the pool. Amazing service from the staff at the property. Wonderful restaurants in the hotel and area. I highly recommended for folks looking for get away while in beautiful San Diego.
Very nice hotel and close to everything in San Diego
10/10
Checked in and told room is ready for you and then after getting in to the room - 1. Flush wasn’t working 2. Plugs weren’t working 3. Had to call multiple times, wait for 2 hours, make noises with rude voice then only they prioritized to fix it 4. Breakfast was included when booked through Expedia but charged the room after breakfast and then said I had to ask to take it out during checkout 5. Pool was closed by sunset but pool crowd wasn’t family friendly 6. No DoorDash dasher was allowed to come inside the lobby so every time i had to go all the way down to get the food 7. Unexpectedly Amenity fee was charged and it was 52$ per day. This was not mentioned during reservation 8. Bathroom didn’t have any toothbrush, toothpaste and we had to ask for it. 9. Room service wasn’t done on 2nd day of our stay and we had to go ask for it in the afternoon 10. Breakfast for free limits to 60$ - told at the time of checkout 11. In room dining breakfast is excluded- told only at the time of checkout 12. Made overall stay very inconvenient
Would be back to visit soon. Great location!
Very kind and friendly!
Excellence in service.
Barely got any running water at the sink, not even enough to wash your hands. No slippers provided like other Intercontinental, no one answered the phone in the evening
Probably better for a business stay than a family vacation stay Pool area and bar menu is very disappointing and rooms on the small side
Staff and hotel were excellent. Took 2 days to get a kettle delivered, small issue but we like to make our own tea in the evening. Conferences can be pretty full on and we were locked out of the pool. Let me end by saying I love the Intercontinental and will stay again no problem.
Everything was great except cost of stay was exorbitant.
Very friendly staff, great views of the bay, walking distance to many activities
Could be better....
Intercontinental prides itself on a higher standard and it wasn't met here. The resort fee is Outrageous and is the main reason I won't stay here again nor recommend this property. Front desk staff didn't alert us at check-in that we received a $22 credit until checkout and that was too late. They did credit me one day for a purchase on the day of checkout, but I lost the other day. The staff is really nice, but nobody answers the phone when calling down. That needs to change as well as alerting the guest of the Food and Beverage Credit. ELIMINATE THE RESORT FEE!!! $48/Day is a MONEY GRAB AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Overall, I won't stay here again, but I will give the Intercontinental Brand another chance to redeem themselves in Bali in December..... Last chance though!!
Beautiful
Not wow…but this hotel was absolutely fine for a leisure trip to San Diego. Centrally located to get to lots of places, the things I liked about the hotel were the size of the room, the pool for a quick swim at the end of the day, the Starbucks downstairs that opens at 5am, the parking underneath the hotel and friendly staff. What I liked less was that housekeeping was a bit hit and miss, the room was really cold even with the ac off, that there is no room service after 9am and the restaurants close not long after that. If the price is right, it’s a good option in San Diego for a leisure stay.
Nice hotel but pool was a bit dissapinting, small and a bit cold.
Excellent costumer service! Great location! Best restaurants around.
Vera Nice location.
Expensive but you get your money worth!
Friendly staff. Very clean. Good location
Staff were very helpful and upbeat from check in/out, bell boys and bartender. Good food options nearby at Little Italy and Gaslamp area. Lots of attractions on the bay and close to transit to get elsewhere. Enticing pool overlooking the bay. Really comfortable bed and premium bath products. There's a little complicated daily room/hotel fee per night to be added at check out, but you get a partial credit set off again food/drinks. Overall great vibe.
Excellent location and very convenient having restaurants in the hotel! Extra charge for a mini fridge was disappointing and housekeeping didn't give us coffee mugs and left a rag in the bathroom

Everything was great
Nick and Oaulina were the best staff that we dealt with! Had some card reader issues but finally got resolved.
I enjoyed the stay, just would have liked to see a hot tub
Great place to stay while enjoying San Diego.
Amazing location and property!
Very nice mid to upscale hotel right on the San Diego waterfront. Lots to do within an easy walk from this hotel. Be sure to have breakfast in the 3rd floor restaurant! There’s a great little market in the first floor with drinks, snack and booze too! Pool area is very nice, with a massive outdoor plaza that’s private to hotel guests only. Really enjoyed my stay!!!
Don’t like the daily resort fees and that I wasn’t charged what was confirmed on my Expedia booking app. Have to take the extra step now to sort out the difference on the bill even though it’s not a huge difference, it’s the principal given the expense of the hotel
Most of the staff was very attentive, the initial check in lady was a little moody and short with me when I had a few questions
Clean and very professional staff. Nice pool area.
best hotel experience in many years of coming to SanDiego
We loved the location in proximity to the airport, the walkability, the view. We also found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating. We would stay here again!
Very nice!
Very beautiful & clean hotel !
Wonderful hotel and service!!!
45 dollars a day to park at the hotel and an extra 47 dollars a day amenities charge regardless if you use them or not so the amount you pay on the website is not nearly what you actually pay
It was a very nice stay
It’s right across the USS Midway museum and broadway pier, 5-7 min from the airport, balboa park, zoo etc. one disappointing part was to pay $50 resort fee, in addition to regular rates already paid through Expedia and it wasn’t disclosed clearly by Expedia when booking was made. Anyway, their breakfast is high class- chilaquiles and French toast are too good.
