Location good

Very small room. Very hard to do self check in. But very good location.

Yeah its not bad

It is what it is, the location is brilliant the facilities are reasonable for the price. Good for solo travellers or those who don't plan on spending a lot of time in the room and want to explore the city. The bed was fine, the room was fine the building was maintained.

It could have a better maintenance. Some painting and new furniture and bedding. The blanket was old but clean. Pillows were horrible. Good and clean towels. I probably do not return because the pictures didn't match the rooms.

Room had a very bad smell, the walls were damaged, bed was uncomfortable and very squeaky. Thin walls, so it was a bit noisy overnight. Check-in kiosk was confusing for us and other guests, and using the pre-check-out caused us to be locked us out of our room before the appointed time. (Luckily we found maintenance staff to help us out.) Yes, it's a hostel in a good location, but not worth the nightly price IMO.

This place is absolutely awful. I was never told how to get into the building, I had to wait for someone coming out to let me in. Once inside, there is no front desk, check-in is done via a machine. The other guests basically checked me in. My room was nothing like in the pictures, there was a tiny little window that gave onto a minuscule air-shaft full of blasting air-conditioners. The place was stuffy, smelly, I moved to another hotel after the first night and informed the hotel. I never received a reply to any of my messages, they just took my money. Do not go to this place, it’s a scam.

Smoke smelly room

The room smelled so bad of cigarette smoke, it was unbearable. The head piece of the bed started to vibrate out of nowhere. Extremely noisy. I wouldn't go back there. I recommend everyone to think it twice before coming here.

The property was in a convenient location and considerably affordable, but not as it seemed in the ad. There was no actual front desk to speak to people, so it was really difficult to figure out how to check in, or to even to get into the building. You have to call a Spanish phone number for help with anything, so make sure you have international calling. The single rooms were extremely cramped, the outlet next to the bed was broken, the desk and walls were scratched and stained, and worse of all, the hallways echo really badly. You can hear everything happening, people talking, babies crying, people walking, suitcases rolling... I could even hear people sneeze. Every night I was woken up by something. VERY VERY misleading how the advertisement says "soundproofed". This is absolutely not the case. Not soundproofed in the least.

There is no reception desk staffed by people. You have to communicate by WhatsApp. The first room was terrible and nothing like what was shown in the pics. It was dark with 1 window and 2 separate beds. However, we asked them to swap the room with another that had 2 big doors and natural light. This was accommodated. Would not reccomend this place. Only plus was the price was low.

A great place to stay if you want to live Madrid at its best.

Check in was chaos via a machine. Lots of angry people unable to check-in. The place isn't staffed despite the high rates they charge. I won't return.

A very poor check in experience and the rooms have little sound insulation. Although a good location it was loud all night.

Loud drunk people will roam the halls screaming from 1AM to 7AM, if you express your discomfort you are going to get insulted, and maybe assaulted, depending on the kind of drunk you encounter. I could not sleep for more than an hour straight. Terrible stay if its thursday to sunday.

A great location but close to the most uncomfortable hotel I have stayed in. On top of that the entry and check-in processes are arcane. The entry phone didn’t work so I relied on a stranger letting me in while exiting. The receptionist demanded a deposit for the A/C and TV remote controls! If you are interested, following is a list of problems… • rubber covered pillow with little support and less filling. • rubber mattress made it difficult to turn over and the effect of sleeping in a boiling pool of sweat. • tiny shower wasn’t cleaned, no shelf for my soap/shampoo, a handcleaner dispenser and mixer take up 3/4 of the little space. The 2D mixer control is positioned so that every move I made resulted in being scolded or frozen. • there is a huge toilet roll holder over the toilet seat making it imposible for me to sit straight on the toilet • tiny bed • wardrobe right at the end of the bed so I kicked it when turning over • the power goes off when you leave the room meaning I couldn’t charge my phone while I was out • they charge for the room safe On the plus side the wifi was excellent.

Demasiado ruido, es como si se estuviera en la calle a cualquier hora del día y noche. El baño es una porquería.

Honestly, nothing. The only thing that was not disappointing was Veronica the receptionist, she was a delight. Other than her, we didn’t get the room as booked and when we complained, they reluctantly gave us a new room for the next day, claiming it was the one we booked - it wasn’t. There are NO amenities, only towels.

Nice stay

It is good place to live. Price is very reasonable and booking from Hotel.com also helped in collecting stamps, so it was worth it. The hotel is clean and reception is all day round. Polite staff and ready to help. Overall stay was good.

Great place for a good price

Great location. Simple place, but well worth the money and really has everything you need.

I like location. Walking distance to everywhere. I don't recommend to stay in this hotel because was very noisy until 4am every day. Room was tiny not same as on photo.

All good, no complaints

Nazareth and Alexandra from the front desk were always a great help, they are very friendly and helpful.The hotel is located in a great area, lots of options for food. Must places are within walking distance, Metro stop at Sol will also get you anywhere, same as buses. Hop ON/OFF first stop is at Puerta del Sol, 2 minutes walk. If like or need to stay connected to WIFI and get assigned rooms 107-109 the connection can be a problem, otherwise you cannot ask more for your money.

Like many hostels it is hard to find,located one floor above street level and don’t go by the posted pictures,You get what you pay for and nothing more.

During my stay, the WiFi network did not work in the room. There is no coffee or tea services, no water. Hair dryer is available upon request at the counter. Excellent location, close to shopping and eating places, right at the center.

I stayed in room 210 - if you find yourself in this room get out. Bed Bugs!! I found one crawling on the blanket. At first I wasn't sure what I saw. Killed it and wasn't sure what I should do next. Within another minute another bug was on my arm. Totally disgusting. Killed it and brought it too the front desk. luckily they had another room and I was able to move. But honestly if I could have I would have moved to another hotsel/hotel. Madrid on these dates was fully booked for carnival so I was out of luck. Besides the bug issues, the key card never worked. I had to get it redone almost every time. The shower in room 210 was missing a part of the door, so the water went everywhere. It was pretty run down, with scrapes in the wall and just things being off. I know they are renovating but not sure how this will change anything. The staff was very pleasant and easy to deal with and helpful. But even with that don't both with this place, it's not worth the trouble.

Staff were excellent. DO NOT assume that the photos on Expedia reflect the actual hotel. They do not. The rooms were nothing like the photos - no views from the one small two foot window - no natural light. Like the worst of student accommodation. The room was small, cramped and badly in need of repair. Bed was uncomfortable and pillows the same. Very hard to sleep.

Convenient location

Convenient location, local night life. Short bed for a tall person Overall good.

In the middle of the action, but very loud and noisy as a result. Drunken partiers in the street outside past 4 AM. Cramped facilities, which is OK, but also very uncomfortable. And check carefully for bedbugs.

Awful wouldn’t recommend to anyone

There was no hot water the staff did not pass on messages from my son and niece who had called to enquire how I was and never received any messages!! Very noisy I couldn’t sleep next to a discotheque!! I would never use this ever again!!

Central location

It has a bed and a shower. It was okay, but it wasn't great. It was close to loads of places to eat and so on, so great for that.

Kind of dirty. Very dingy. Room was okay but not great.

Sin calefacción toda la estancia con temperaturas de 0 grados en la calle. Contacto para que la arreglen y me dicen que vienen. Un día tras otro me dicen que vienen y nunca llegan. No limpian la habitación hasta el ultimo día (4 noche de estancia) y por que les insisto. Llegan a bloquear mi numero para que no les moleste. Al llamar con numero oculto sí me responden. No cuentan con recepción así que no puedes poner hoja de reclamaciones que por suerte sí se puede rellenar en la web de la Comunidad de Madrid. La cama con el colchón hundido, con un zumbido constante de maquinaria y con la puerta al lado golpeando cada vez que entra o sale alguien. Una cosa positiva: Hubo agua caliente en la ducha en todo momento. Es el siguiente paso para convertirlo en Auschwitz, apagar el agua caliente. Por 5€ más la noche hay sitios con propietarios decentes en los alrededores. Tenía otra reserva con ellos en julio y la he cancelado. Nunca más.

Horrific experience. We arrived at the hotel to be greeted by sheets with cigarette burns in, stains on the surfaces, mucas on the wall, exposed wires and more. We instantly informed the hotel that we would not be staying. They told us to send pictures and we did immediately. They didn't reply. When I asked them two days later about the situation regarding a refund, they said that they would not be refunding us because it wasn't confirmed the moment, even though we followed the instructions. Dreadful rooms and dreadful service.

Sistema de auto check in Que impossibilita a entrada antecipada. Não há espaço para guardar as bagagens e nem para sentar. Mal sinalizado e impossível de entrar no prédio a primeira vez sem aguardar a saída de alguém para abrir a porta.

Decepcionante

No tiene recepción para check-in, todo a través de máquina y por teléfono, la limpieza de la habitación no es para nada agradable, puesto que cada tres días te cambian las sábanas y te arreglan la habitación, no es lo normal deberían cada día entrar a hacerte la habitación (fregar hacer la cama el baños ...) también está muy dejado y deteriorado la habitación y en el baño se han encontrado algunas cucarachas detrás del pie del lavamanos, también el baño es muy pequeño y la ducha muy pequeña no te puedes ni mover y no hay recambio de almohadas o mantas, que suelen haber en los armarios, el colchón de espuma en mal estado súper fino, en general nada recomendable

Hostal muy céntrico y cómodo con aire acondicionado.

Sucio y sin recepción

No hay recepción, tienes que hacerlo todo mediante una maquina, si llaman al telefono 24h son rapidos en ayudarte, pero es un poco lioso. La llave de la habitación se desconfiguraba, el baño perdia agua, la limpieza mediocre, el suelo muy sucio, paredes, baño... en fin no vuelvo. Por menos hay hostales mucho mas confortables a una calle.

Nos hicieron un cargo adicional que no estaba previsto y al quejarnos y solicitar la devolución, aún no lo han solucionado.

Deixou a desejar

A localização do hotel é boa… Utilizamos para fazer uma única pernoite para seguir viagem! O selfie check in é muito ruim, não tínhamos recebido o código da reserva ficamos mais de 40 minutos tentando falar com alguém para resolver. Para acessar o prédio é necessário um código de acesso, nossa sorte foi que tinha gente entrando no local, caso contrário teríamos ficado na calçada aguardando alguém nos atender. Wi-Fi não estava funcionando. Banheiro bem precário, a porta do Box não fechava direito e água corria para quarto. As fotos não do site não condizem com o quarto que ficamos.

Busquen otro sitio.

El lugar está bien ubicado, la habitación descuidada, ropa de cama y toallas muy limpias, baño limpio pero con fuga de agua hacia el inodoro (desperdicio de agua), calefacción o aire acondicionado sin funcionar.

Reservado x 2 noches y x motivos personales no pude estar la 1 noche y cuando quise entrar la 2 noche m la había anulado. (m dejaron tirada en Madrid)

Hostal céntrico con buena atención telefónica

Desde la entrada has de llamar para que te den un código de entrada. Posteriormente el check in se hace mediante una máquina en la entrada. Cuando fui yo la máquina tenía algún problema para imprimir la tarjeta de entrada en la habitación pero con llamar al numero 24 horas te la imprimían sin problema. Puede suceder que se desmagnetice la tarjeta y basta con llamar al número para que te impriman otra en la máquina. En cuanto a la habitación es una habitación funcional, con un cuarto de ducha que cumple su función y una habitación simple. En cuanto a los acabados de la habitación podían ser mejores, había una grieta en el techo, la caja de los fusibles no estaba enganchada, la mesa estaba bastante suelta de la pared... Lo mejor la atención por teléfono y su localización. Cualquier tipo de problema y a cualquier hora te atienden y te dan una solución. Además está a pocos metros de la parada de metro de Sol. En conclusión el hostal está bien si el objetivo es solamente el descansar después de un día de visitar o ir de tiendas; si el objetivo es disfrutar de los hostales y de sus instalaciones al igual no es el adecuado. Así que para viajeros de un finde o unas vacaciones cortas para visitar la capital puede servirles.

Unfortunately this place was way below similar options in Madrid. The room and the wall were extremely dirty and need a renovation. The blanket were clearly not changed between guests, full of hair and stains which was disgusting. I ended up sleeping on my clothes to avoid to touch the bed sheets. Horrible and I won’t recommend, there are lots of other options within the same budget

Beskidt og stemmer SLET ikke overens med billeder

Vi ankom til hotellet sent, men heldigvis var der mulighed for at checke ind alligevel. Vi får et værelse med to separate senge, som ikke kan sættes sammen. Receptionisten var sød at give os et andet værelse, hvor sengene stod ved siden af hinanden. MEN! Lad jer ikke snyde af billederne I ser på hjemmesiden - værelset var SÅ skuffende! Jeg har aldrig boet så dårligt. Det var ikke rigtige senge - det var "folde ud" senge?! Værelset var malet med forskellige farver på væggene, ingen pæne gardiner eller billede på væggen. Badeværelset var beskidt og havde mug i i badekarret. Der var gamle rester af et eller andet, der havde gledet og størket ned af væggene. Det er det værste ophold vi nogensinde har været på. Billederne stemmer IKKE overens med kvalitet. Øv!!

Mala experiencia

A la llegada mal, nos tardaron en dar la habitación porque decían que No había pagado, que ustedes (hoteles.com) no les habían dado el dinero! Y yo había pagado 4 meses antes, tuve que buscar el pago en mi estado de cuenta y ya vieron el Pago! Muy mala experiencia porque llegamos cansadas!

Este este hostal es una estafa, la habitación de la fotografía no tiene nada que ver con la habitación real. La habitación era tan pequeña que las camas la ocupaban por completo, no nos cabían ni las maletas. El armario para guardar la ropa enano y nos dejaron dos tristes perchas. Estuvimos un día entero sin luz en la habitación y una de las sábanas tenía manchas. La peor experiencia que he tenido en un hostal. Pagué 200€ por dos noches, esto es una estafa.

No es lo que te venden, publicidad engañosa, Expedia falla en eso, nada contento.

Lo que no me gustó es el precio que uds ofrecen por la web que pagué un equivalente aproxibado de 150 dlls al cambio y el hotel cobra las habitacioned a 45 euris la noche

Wir haben zu zweit 7 Nächte bei INTER Puerta del Sol verbracht. Der Check in lief Problemlos ab. Wir waren etwa zwei Stunden zu früh dran und wollten eigentlich nur die Koffer abgeben. Da das Zimmer schon fertig vorbereitet war, durften wir schon direkt rein, was super nett war. Das Zimmer an sich war meines Erachtens dem günstigen Preis angemessen. Die Möbel hatten Gebrauchsspuren, es war aber alles sauber. Die Putzkraft kam zweimal, was für eine Woche Aufenthalt okay war. Ein riesiger Minuspunkt war jedoch, dass es keinen Kühlschrank gab! Bei so warmen Temperaturen war das ein riesiges Problem für uns, da wir auch im Urlaub gern Kleinigkeiten im Supermarkt holen. Zudem hatten wir das Pech, dass unser Zimmer direkt am Empfang lag und es ziemlich laut werden konnte. Die Isolation Richtung belebter Straße war aber überraschend gut. Der Mini Balkon, auf dem die Klimaanlage stand, war begehbar, was eine nette Überraschung war. Die Lage war perfekt. In 5 min ist ein Bahnhof zu erreichen, von dem aus man überall super hinkommt. Wir waren fast ausschließlich zu Fuß unterwegs, die wichtigsten Attraktionen sind innerhalb etwa einer Stunde zu erreichen. Nette Restaurants sind in unmittelbarer Nähe und auch die Shopping Meile ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Hier noch ein Überblick: Positiv: - nettes Personal - super Lage - Sauberkeit war in Ordnung - Preis- Leistung war gut Negativ: - Laut zum Flur hin (auch mitten in der Nacht) - kein Kühlschrank

La ubicación muy buena

Posizione ottima, comodissima per il centro città, personale molto gentile, camere pulite. Peccato che le foto online non rispecchino la realtà delle camere

Chambre pas chère mais confort minimal!

Choc à l'arrivée: Pas de réception donnant sur la rue, il faut appeler par l'interphone de l'immeuble polyvalent et aller à l'étage où se trouve l'hotel. L'employé est souriant mais ne parle que l'espagnol. Chambre single minuscule donnant sur "puis de lumière" donc obscure mais propre et salle de bain neuve. Le quartier est central, très populaire, beaucoup de bars autour et pas loin du métro Sol.
