The location by the sea, the breeze and the pleasantness of the place make it a good destination. La ubicación junto al mar, la brisa y lo ameno del lugar lo hace un buen destino.
Staff were friendly and wonderful. Beach was clean and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay.
It was just ok. Had to keep calling and asking for wash clothes and once they bring them it was never enough. Communicating with most of the staff was terrible.

Decent property although when we were there, they closed down one pool and also charged my over $700 more for a "mistake" Expedia made. The also boasted of a youth center/play room that was closed down as well. Their website listed activities and implies the difference between ones included and ones you pay extra for. They don't have ANY of those activities for free and partner with local vendors for that. One thing we absolutely did not like was that they work VERY hard to pressure you to get into a time share presentation. We were totally blind-sided by this and a "free breakfast greeting" turned into a time share presentation. The front desk is a mix of amazing people and people with horrible attitudes that argue with you (and I'm a pretty easy going guy). Our check in took a little over 2 hours. We were told pool closes at 7pm and around 6:15 a life guard told us they were closing soon with a bad attitude... On the other side, they also had some amazing people who were very good and attentive. I will NOT be going back to this place.
Horrible smell on our room called freaking million times rude team members picking up the phone saying is nothing they can do or transfer to another phone line.And by the end never did something to resolve the problem. Went last night to the grill restaurant ordered an expensive wine and ended up being expired with something inside horrible speeded 70$ and couldn't drink the whole bottle and no-one replace or make an discount on it . Never back on this resort and i don't recommend it
I had health concerns during the beginning of this trip which introduced many challenges. Staff were very helpful. Especially their phone operator, Joselin.
Pros: - If you can upgrade to Premium, don't hesitate. The standard rooms are below average, but the premium ones are rather big. It's like a whole different experience. It includes a butler service, very useful to coordinate the restaurant reservations (make sure you tip them properly and in advance). Premium includes also a private section of the beach in which there are always available hammocks. - The Japanese restaurant was a lot of fun. Cons: - The buffet is below average. They provide a minimal number of tongs, so they end up being used to pick up all kinds of food. This is unsanitary. I am allergic to fish, and they place the fish and the meat next to each other--one night I was planning to get meat, but lucky me noticed the tongs had pieces of salmon. - The kids club is too far from everything, very isolated, and the only way to communicate with them is to call reception so that they can forward your call to their landline. If you're not in your room, you're out of luck. - Lots of mosquitos throughout the resort (at least at the end of December where I stayed with my family). - Entertainment is quite poor. Night shows are amateurish. There are no slides in the pools. They run "foam parties" in the pools, but having drunk people around while you're with your children in the water is not pleasant, to say the least. - No fish in the water. If you like to see fish (hey, you are in the Caribbean after all), Bavaro beach is not your place.
Me and my husband have been staying at this location for the past 3 years. And it only gets better. We love the staff and treat us like family.

I've got sick almost the entire time, vomiting and having diarrhea. Buffet food handling was not good. Poorly educated employees and vulgar customers not respecting any common sense sanitization.
Took my daughter for her 10th birthday she absolutely loved it there is a bit of a language barrier if you don’t speak Spanish but they try their best and very accommodating friendly staff
I didnt like that the hotel was all inclusive but they try to get you to buy premium package, when I go all inclusive I feel everyone should be all inclusive. The hot tub was cold the whole week.
Not bad in all but when you are used to travel yearly over DR you can rate better the facilities . There’s non Dominican food at the buffet in all , I found at the room ( building 24) small roaches at the coffee maker area , hair at the shower and the ac were not working properly. There’s no hairdryer neither body cream at the room . The security guys at the property were every moment around and that makes us feel safe.

Everything was great at the hotel the employees were very helpful and friendly the only thing that was hard and Millie impossible was to get a reservation for the restaurants there were booked solid for over more than 2 weeks and I could not get in to have a romantic dinner with my wife

It is a lovely resort, very comfortable and clean. Staff is nice and entertainment staff is wonderful. Would be nice if they changed up the music around the pool and the disco. Love hearing latino music but would be nice if they had a mix of all genres. More food options at the buffet would be good but there is always something to eat just the same. Snack bar is a great alternative. Overall, love this resort. It has everything we need and is not too big.
For the first time in the DR, I was not expecting luxury but I was not prepared to have to leave early. To start, check in took almost 3 hours and we didn't even get the room we reserved. What bothered me most was that before even getting a room, it was imposed on us that we should upgrade because there are two sections to the resort, the "basic" side and the "premium" side. I don't want to be bothered with that before even getting a room; that should not be the way to run a resort. Anyway, once check in was completed for the second time and the new room was remedied and we were brought to what was reserved, the power was out so we were not able to get beach towels, use the water or the lights and the AC was broken. The linens were dirty; there was always some kind of black swipe mark, or what looked like blood or black spots. The staff barely spoke English (so Google translate was my best friend), the AC in our room broke several times, one of those times it leaked and created a puddle in the washroom, people were blasting music from their balconies and yelling until 4 am some nights, the food was mediocre, entertainment was not worth it, the beach was not cleaned many days so there was seaweed everywhere. Because talking to the staff was such an ordeal, we did not try our hand at getting refund. We ended up flying home early so as not to have to deal with any more of it. I do not recommend this resort for any length of stay. We'll be going anywhere but here.
Horrible, horrible, the name says it all, Impressive, you will definitely be impressed at how bad it is. My room was not clean, there was a booger in the bathroom by the sink. This is supposedly an all inclusive hotel, but when I got to my room, there were two waters in the mini fridge, one Coke and one sprite. I had to call for the beer, and it was two small coors light. The stairs to go up to my room, always had a foul smell, almost like if someone had pooped on themselves. There was absolutely no space in the restaurants for reservation, which is kind of hard to believe. The buffet area wasn’t bad, in fact, I think it was the only good area. A lot of the staff from the restaurants and bars were also nice. I would never, ever, everrrrrr recommend this place.

Fell short of expectations
Pool was very dirty. Drink cups never cleaned up increasing bugs. Waiters inattentive and annoyed if asked for anything. Check in was way too long. Nobody to seat you at restaurants. Twice our tables were given to other people when we got up to get more food at buffet. Silverware not clean and reused without cleaning. This hotel is not impressive. 2nd time staying here and has not changed in last couple years. Too bad. It has ability to be much better. Our room was very nice but shower sprayed continually outside and made it very slippery. Beds were comfortable and rooms were quiet. Would stay again at a lower price so expectations would not be as high.

It might be called Impressive Punta Cana but we were NOT impressed. There were a few really nice workers but for the most part the service was awful - especially at the bars. It would take 15 minutes for a drink. The rooms are not clean and the food is mid. I cannot speak more on what happened but … trust me. If you are going to this resort please upgrade to Premium. We did this halfway through our stay and it was WAY better. But the regular Impressive Punta Cana is not worth it.
We like everything about the property except the buffet, no food variety and it was extremely hot in there.
Overall it was a ok stay. Lack consistency in all areas. Housekeeping, food, staff, but it was good for what it was. Good for the budget traveller.
Average All Inclusive. Definitely not a 5 stars hotel. Check in and out terrible Be prepared to be solicited for a vacation club at all time. Pool, bars, and reserved restaurants, menus and staff 5 stars. Main buffet need a lot o work.

This was the worst resort I’ve stayed at. From day one issues . Check in says 3pm they did not have my room available until 4pm. To boot we finally got to our room and no water. The place gave us a run around of when it will be on. To make matters worse we let staff know the room had a stench to it they chalked it up bec there was no running water. After the water coming on at6:30pm the smell persisted throughout our whole stay. All they did was bounce us around from person to person with no one truly helping us. No free credit night upgrade nothing. They were late checking us In, no water and we missed our dinner reservation because we were not able to shower. So disappointed and saddened. Not even Expedia customer service could get them to help us because their service is horrible yet they are down your throat to upgrade or buy time shares . We asked to speak to higher ups and they made us write a lame letter which I’m sure no one would ever get back to us . I want To actually dispute my stay with my bank because the service we payed for was sup par if at that . I truly Think we should have been refunded a night or atleast upgraded which they never did . Please don’t stay here save yourselves the addiction. P.s go on tik tok there plenty of videos recounting their horrible experience on Impressive . The name impressive doesn’t match the resort because it was nothing but impressive especially the customer service.

Tuvimos una muy buena experiencia, sin embargo, durante nuestra estadía hubo una avería la cual nos dejó sin agua en el cuarto y no nos sabían decir con exactitud cuánto se demoraba lo que nos causó preocupación para llegar a tiempo a nuestras reservaciones. Además, la puerta para acceder al cuarto en ocasión se trancaba y teníamos que hacer todo un proceso lento y lleno de espera para poderla abrir nuevamente.

We stayed from 8-15/24 to 8-21/24 We loved the beach it’s beautiful and lots of sand area ! Room was okay . The a/c didn’t change the set temperature, the tv wasn’t great , the mattress was hard but the room was okay ! The food was 6/10. Lots of repeated options so you kind of get tired to see the same type of food on several meals but it was good ! Not excellent but good ! The pools were great ! We loved our stay

This place is old , the blankets are dirty ,the pools have the titles broken and moldy, we have no hot water for 3 days ,the AC is no cold enough the room was hot u only feel the cold when u enter the room , after that is hot , overall this place is not 5 start maybe 4 , definitely 3 starts .

There was no hot water on any of the days of our stay. But that was not the worst thing, but the lousy information they gave about it. In the lobby, while we were asking for information, Miss Kenya looked the other way, and laughed at us. An inconceivable lack of respect in a Hotel like this.
Lights went out for 5 hours. Resort could not solve while half of the resort had power and water. Food isn’t that good.

First time as a couple visiting the area. Every was just right for us. Would like to find more offers as for excursions and activities outside the hotel. Only was one onsite and we manage to reserve and enjoy a whole day of adventures. Another thing is to find the days activities easier. By accident my husband turn on the tv and the schedule came out, but we are not the ones that sit to watch tv on vacation. Near the pool, I noticed the last day of trip, the list of activities, in very small letters. Overall: excellent.

Got there a day late due to flight delays messaged the hotel about it got a resolve saying “we will add it to your file,” then get to the hotel and have to wait for half a day because they gave our room away and were over booked We had no hot water for two days. Could only eat in one restaurant the whole week because the others were book solid with premium guests. One evening 6 hours no power. The tour Brochures showed pictures to sell you the tour and then not deliver what was showed. They didn’t refill our bottled water in our room everyday had to call to get water. The last two nights the ac was not working properly. Horrible time there if you’re not a premium guest.

I really like this resort. It is an affordable all inclusive resort. It is nice and clean. The service is good. The food is good. It is not extremely big so it is easy to find everything. The only thing i didn’t like was the A/C in the room. It was working, but it wasn’t cold enough.

The property its self is beautiful, but here are the issues I saw. First and most important, the property has 5 restaurants and 2 open buffets (more like 1 and a half). The main buffet is open to everyone for all meals, the second buffet ( called on the grill) is only opened for everyone for breakfast and lunch and has basically 1/4 of basically the same thing the other buffet has. There is lots of different food types to select from at the buffet, but for me personally the food would recieve a 1 out of 10. Second issue, the other 5 restaurants are by reservation only. I stayed for 5 days and 4 nights and was able to find only one spot at one of the restaurants my whole stay. There is basically no reservations available even though the restaurants are always empty. I believ this is done on purpose to force people to eat at the cheaper nasty food provided at the buffet. When i talked to the concierge he told me to basically try to talk to the restaurants and basically plead with them to let me in which i found insulting. 3rd issue, checkout time is very early at 12 pm when most flights out of punta cana are around or after 6 pm. They ask you for 20 dollars per hour extra after 12pm which isnt bad i guess but still an inconvenience. 4th issue, they allow lots of people on their property that will basically try to sell you many things, from packages to jewlery to even cigars everywhere and they will approach you multiple times everyday, at the pool, beach and even the lobby.

The staff at this property was very nice.
I booked two rooms ocean front. When I arrived they told me it is not available. They gave me rooms facing construction area when they are building a new bar. Customer service is poor. Food was ok but the main restaurant is in an open area, no AC, lots of flies, few street cats. I will never go there again. The beach was good but no drinks service on the beach, you will need to go to a bar which is not far.

Not worth spending your time and money here
Upgraded to “premium” but everything that was supposed to be premium was on the opposite end of the resort from all premium amenities. We got locked in our room due to the lock breaking. Then after it was “fixed” the door would still not open. One of us was locked in while one was locked out of the room. Couldn’t make reservations at restaurants even though the premium butler was supposed to do it. Food was horrible. I Could go on with more issues we had but basically the message is choose a different resort.
