COURTEOUS, PROFESSIONAL STAFF - I travel extensively throughout Europe. IBIS Massena staff is at the top. I have found none better! #3. SANITATION & CLEANLINESS - I am one of the few who still wears a mask everywhere. This hotel meets my high standards for sanitation and cleanliness, and far exceeds what I have experienced in certain family-run Paris hotels over the past 10 years. In my last stay at one of these hotels the policy seems to be - if you complain they fix it, if you don't they won't. Some of these hotels (not all) are actually $50/night hotels but they get away with charging $100/night for location. At IBIS Massena I get a good location (2 metro stops and bus lines) and always a clean well maintained facility. #4. BEST VALUE - There are some nice and more than some, not so nice sole proprietor hotels in Paris with nightly rates equal to and higher than IBIS Massena, before the cost of breakfast. I have spent btw 25 & 30 nights at IBIS Massena in 2022 and will likely spend even more in 2023. #5. AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT - NONE! I am ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTED with this hotel and the staff.

The receptionist didn't even say hello upon arrival. The room seems old and musty. The AC has tinfoil in it and is very noisy. The bothroom and ceiling below the AC show mold stains and the floor wasn't clean either.

Super-nice staff. Rooms are quite compact, but comfortable enough. Good stable wifi in room. Free coffee/tea in the lobby (but not in the room). Basic breakfast included in the room rate. No other dining on site, but you can buy drinks and snacks. The area is not the prettiest in Paris, but you are in walking distance of some really good restaurants and cafes. Good local bus connections.

I’m stay 2 night for family holiday but I don’t like it . The hotel got someone smoking at 6am in the morning I call resection but they cannot fine someone next to my room, smoking smells bad from 6am to 8am but they cannot do anything

The tv..had all french channels, where as you have english and spanish speakung visitors, also they served the same breakfast everday even saturday n sunday should be a little different...

Disappointed

Smaller than I expected, the bathroom needs a better finish, not seen an open floor in a hotel. The breakfast was very disappointing to say bu the list. The front desk staff were really friendly though. I left my plug in the room after check out and it cant be traced up to date even when I informed the hotel on the very day i left,

Stay was fine - friendly, helpful staff, clean room wthat was comfortable. Downside was bathroom extremely small, and TV did not initially work due to dead battery. Neighborhood is a bit beat down in that section of the 13th.

Indifferent reception staff. Fortunately, her colleagues were nicer / courteous. Carpet had a hideous stain, that was the colour of dried blood. Informed receptionist - and showed photo: he suggested it “might be water”, and that he would take a look. No-one visited, to my knowledge. Best thing: delicious croissants.

Tea or coffee was always ready at the reception, the place was cool and quiet and just the right place for someone who like piece and a good rest. You cant say the room was spacious, the room chair was not very comfortable bottled water was supplied for only the first day, room table not all purpose but I do not blame anyone maybe this was commemorate with the charges. But generally I was happy and I would book the hotel next time.

As expected

The hotel was as expected and advertised. Bathrooms could do with updating but in general the hotel was nice. Breakfast and lobby area was nice with the continental breakfast going down well. The local area wasn't great but some nice bars and restaurants around 10minute walk away

The hotel is fine. A bit too far from the city but public transport is 5 mins walk. The breakfast was nice. The worst of it all was the staff. They were very rude and did the minimum necessary, didn’t even lift their look from the computer screen when I was talking to them...

Stayed on early November, couple

+ Good breakfast, not very diverse but good quality. + Close to the subway station. + Close to a lot of asian restaurants. - Long commute to the city center - between 35 and 50 minutes. - The air condition doesn't provide fresh/cold air because during the Autumn the hotel changes the mode on the entire hotel to hot air. So the only way to get cold air or refresh the room is to open the window. Otherwise the room just gets too hot.

Decent place for the money

We stayed there for 5 days and we had no issues with the place. Breakfast could have been a little bit better but it was good overall. The room lacks private air-con control, which was a drawback for us. The air con was blowing hot air when it was already warm outside and we couldn't adjust the temp to our needs.

Pleasant hotel, not great location, no laundry

Pleasant small hotel but the area around the hotel isn't very nice, especially at night, and it is a 10+ minute walk in several directions to transit, farther for more useful lines and the closest line (M7, Porte d'Ivry) was severely delayed (the line splits into two directions prior to that station so only half the trains go there) so it was actually fasted and easiest go elsewhere, even the 15-20 minutes to the RER C for convenient connections. There are some good restaurants (Vietnamese next door was very good), and stores (which mostly close early) are also a 10 minute walk, and the closest laundromat as well. The hotel has no laundry services!

Dirty, uncomfortable hotel

Friendly staff, dirty hotel, stains on the bedroom carpet, mould in the shower grout, stairs not cleaned. Uncomfortable bed with a very thin mattress, shower with no power, very bland breakfast.

Compact, clean, good value in Bercy

Compact hotel in Bercy, not central but with good connections to tourist areas, convenient for concerts at Accor Hotels Arena (15-20min walk, 2 metro stops). Clean, small rooms, but efficient, very helpful English speaking staff. No frills, good value for money.

Very Accomodating Hotel

Our stay at ibis Styles Paris Massena Olympiades during our time in Paris was great. The hotel, room and staff were all very accomodating. The breakfast buffet was also very good and never ran short of fresh food for the mornings. Our room, was very clean and comfortable, however it was a little small for 2 people. We found it was very tight in certain areas so it made it a little hard to move around. We did like the size of the bathroom, which was more accomodating in size than the room itself. Please note: this hotel is a little out of Paris and not in the central hub. The metro and RER stations are only a 5 minute walk from the hotel and will get you into Paris central without any issues. Overall, the hotel was great and I enjoyed my time there. I would definitely recommend booking here if you are to visit Paris :)

My first time staying here. Good: 1. Walkable distance to/from stations. 2. A supermarket nearby (about 10mins walk). 3. Breakfast is good and there is a cold-pressed orange juice machine! Bad: 1. The room is super small, you can hardly open your luggage to pack/unpack. 2. No fridge in the room. 3. Ventilation in the bathroom is horrible, completely misty and foggy after shower. 4. The wall is not soundproofing, could hear very clearly when neighbours are knocking on the wall?!

Nice basic hotel in 13th arrondisement

I chose this hotel because I was taking part in a conference in this area, and it was a ten minute walk away. The location might not be so convenient for people who are in Paris for other reasons. The hotel is minimal in terms of furnishings and services, but adequate. The room was perfectly comfortable for one, but might be cramped for two. No ventilation in the bathroom, and only a half door to the shower, so either you have to prop the door open when you shower or everything in the bathroom will be wet. Excellent Wifi (no security); TV only had one English language channel (CNN) although the Disney channel had some English programs for kids. The breakfast was quite good (no hot food). I had noticed they said they had some minimal room service, but I don't think that's the case. The area is one with many Chinese and Southeast Asian people, so there is Vietnamese (a restaurant right next door that was good), Thai, Laotian, Chinese. The people at the front desk were very helpful and nice, and forgiving of my dismal/non-existent French!

I only wish we were able to stay longer! The bed was so comfortable, but we had to get up and out early to get to the airport. This also means we missed out on breakfast since we left before 6:00am :( We were able to grab a coffee before leaving, though, which was nice. Location was out of the way (which kept it reasonably priced), and the bus and metro and walking got us to all the spots we wanted to see. The downstairs lounge area was funky modern decor and music. WiFi worked great. Coffee, tea, water, croissants and pain au chocolate available in the lobby. I would definitely stay here again.

I honestly did not expect much for the price and have stayed in several hospitals in Paris in this area. The staff were helpful and friendly and were very warm and receiving. They also spoke several languages which is always an asett.

Short break for valentines and the hotel was perfect. Staff were friendly, helpful and on arrival let us leave luggage there for the day. The room was cozy (lot of people said the rooms were really small but I personally thought it was perfect). Breakfast was lovely, choice of food was great. For the price it was brilliant had no complaints. Bed was comfy and room was always clean. As for the location its a short walk to Olympiades station and the metro service was simple and ridiculously cheap! Around 25 mins to get into centre of paris and Uber is so accessible and cheap too. I could not fault the hotel or the staff at all. Fantastic!

It was better than I expected the hotel’s condition to be. I was with another girl friend of mine. It gets pretty quiet for 2 girls to be walking from the metro to the hotel which takes about 5mins at night. Overall, I would recommend this hotel again. Thank you for making my stay a relaxing one.

good value practical hotel

It was exactly what we were expecting for the price paid. We chose it for it's location because our daughter is living 5 mins walk away. It is a safe area to walk around at night and has plenty of local amenities and is very convenient for several Metro lines.

Clean and convenient hotel for a stop-over

The hotel is just what you could expect from an Ibis Styles, and for a one night stay, more than enough: it is clean, friendly staff, tea and coffee all day at the entrance, a good breakfast (limited but really enough for what you need). I did not try the free wifi. Location could be their weak point BUT 2 metro stations are within 10min walk from the hotel and 4 within 20min. Although the 13th arrondissement is full of blocks and described as Chinatown, there are few restaurants to explore (Thai, Chinese or Japanese), the BNF and Place d'Italie is within 20min walk (with a good Shopping centre)

Good budget hotel, comfortable and clean

We (I and my wife, and my adult son) stayed in the hotel for 4 nights last week, occupying two rooms. The hotel is good value for money since Paris hotels are pretty expensive. In typical Ibis style,it is a functional hotel. Rooms are small (14 sq m) including the toilette, but then this is supposed to be a standard size for budget hotels in Paris. Rooms were clean though. Breakfast was included which is a big thing in Paris. B/f would comprise of juices, yogurt, bread & croissant, cereals, cold cuts, tea and coffee. Again, nothing great but serves the purpose. There are some good Asian restaurants nearby and I would highly recommend Chinatown at Olympiades. There is also a cafe next door to the hotel. 2 metro stations - Porte D'Ivrie and Olympiades are within walking distance and so also is a tram stop. There is nothing great in the neighborhood but the metros connect you to everywhere in Paris. All in all, I would recommend this hotel. It is not WOW, but at this price it is definitely worth it. By the way, it provides free WiFi too and the WiFi quality was good.

Staff overall helpful. An d reasonable friendly . We left 2 umbrellas in the room , but had a whole hour before our taxi would come . I went to the lobby . I alerted the staff about it , but They could not retrieve it at all...said they have to" contact the housekeeping people " . Do they not keep these in a lost and found section. ? By the time the taxi arrived to Bring us to the airport, they still could not retrieve it . I was not I pressed by this inefficiency . We left without our Umbrellas as they ould not. Help us

The hotel was perfectly fine overall. Typical continental breakfast so don't expect big fryups - everything fresh nonetheless. Surprised that the hotel rates offered on site were much cheaper that what I paid through this site. Will book directly with them next time.

Not expensive basic hotel with good breakfast

Located close to Subway. You can get to Paris center in approximately 40 min (we've used Pink Line #7 from Porte d'Ivry to Chatelet). Neighborhood is felt much safer than Paris Northern districts but a majority of people are immigrants from Africa and Asia. There are no restaurants around, but the hotel offers a very good breakfast for Paris standards.

Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Free breakfast and wifi made up for the small room and old furnishing. Would recommend.

Not an ideal experience

We arrived in Paris around 11 and were hoping to check into our hotel early. We were not able to until 2:00pm so we had to hang around the neighborhood. We first parked our car in the "hotel lot" which was about a ten minute walk away. The hotel was fine, the staff were fine and the breakfast was good. Once we checked out we thought we could pay the 21 euro, which was stated at the hotel, for parking there but had to pay at the lot. Parking ended up costing us 35 euro. Do not stay here for the convenience, and parking is very difficult and expensive. Not worth the stay

Hotel was in good shape. Room was nice, clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful. Free breakfast was great. Location was about 30 min from city by subway. Subway station within 10 min walk. Surrounding neighboorhood was not the best, a little scary to walk at night. Wifi worked great in room. Would'nt stay there again or recommend only because the of surrounding area.

Good for shirt stay

It's a 2 star hotel not even close to 3 star. Rooms are old and need refurbishment . The only good thing is the location . Next to metro which drives you straight to louvre museum and city centre . The nebourhood looks ok . Overall if you going in paris for a 1 or 2 nights is ok . Only good thing is the breakfast .

Comfortable

It wasn't the best hotel but it was worth the money. Since we found the staff quite helpful if we needed it. And the breakfast was cozy. Not crowdy and not noisy. We were able to get a free parking for the weekend just outside the hotel. It was very near the tram stations and so many food places around it, if you take the time to walk around surely you'll find anything you need there. The sites we wanted to visit was about 5 minutes away with the help of the metro. Overall we were satisfied. Only one thing is they need to fix their elevator.

Las habitaciones son muy pequeñas. El baño no tiene ventilación, había una ventana pero la habían sellado y la puerta no se podía dejar abierta. El colchón se notaba viejo y desgastado.

Bueno. Tengo que decir que el personal que me atendió fue excelente. Si usted esta buscando dormir bien y tener buen desayuno este es el lugar. Si está de turista sepa que tiene una estación cerca para tomar el tren No queda cerca de las atracciones principales pero si sabes usar tren lo logras fácil. Usé la aplicación Wanderlog y Google Maps y me ayudó grandemente. Usé el ticket del tren diario pago y ya.me.dejeba usar todos los transportes. El hotel es muy bueno. si quieres algo más cerca te va a costar.

Lite utanför centrum men det finns metro inom gångavstånd och man kan lätt ta sig dit man önskar, det går bara åt lite mycket tid för det. Hotellet mycket bra. Air-conditioning som fungerar och frukosten är helt okej.
