Ibis Styles Hotel, Geneva Airport: A Great Choice

The Ibis Styles Hotel near Geneva Airport is an excellent option, especially for travelers dealing with canceled flights or needing to stay close to the airport. The hotel feels brand new, is impeccably clean, and offers a comfortable stay. The rooms are on the smaller side, but given the price, the value is absolutely perfect. For a convenient and hassle-free stay near the airport, this hotel is a fantastic choice.

Finding the hotel in the dark from the airport was difficult, but once you find it, it is a very nice place with great staff. The staff went out their way to help me once I arrived.

This is a great hotel for easy airport access….Bus 5 comes and goes regularly. All staff we had interaction with were off the charts helpful - great people. Restaurant is wonderful for quick/easy food/drink and the room - although small was extremely clean and functional. I’d stay here again in a minute when wanting easy hotel to airport access.

Perfect for Palexpo. Great bus links into city and convenient for airport.

Just okay

Okay for night before flight. Approx 12 min walk to airport. Room very small, no storage just some strange hooks on the wall. Front desk staff fairly lackluster. Place was clean and extra pillows provided when asked. Overall just okay.

The room was perfect for a quick jumping off point for our visit to Switzerland. Access to local transportation and the airport was great via the bus. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was ok too….a little overpriced, but everything is expensive in Switzerland.

It was very convenient for the airport. The free travel voucher for transport in Geneva was very helpful & most appreciated.

Good hotel

It was as pictured and the hotel staff was nice. I took uber so don't know much about the parking. No pool.

Suited my agenda to have a comfortable bed for the night before catching a flight the next day. Room was spotless clean and tidy, no noise ,staff professional can't fault my experience staying at this hotel.

More than fine for an overnight stay in transit, but dining and transportation might be problems for a longer stay. Buffet breakfast is pricey but anemic. Consider eating at the airport.

Very nice hotel, comfortable. I have a single negative comment about the coffee in the breakfast-included stay that was weak and not very good.

Simple, Effective

This hotel always delivers. Unlike so many in the region, when there's a large event going on, this place offers great value without kiking up their prices. The staff are pleasant and helpful, they have some good beers on at the bar, breakfast is simople but fresh and delicious and the pizzas are pretty good, too. I always choose the Ibis Syles when I visit Palexpo. No need to go anywhwere else.

Walkable from the airport. Friendly staff. Perfectly sufficient for a long GVA layover.

Respite for GVA overnight

Clean, comfortable respite for an airport overnight. It takes a bit of maneuvering to find, but definitely walkable from the SBB station, which is connected to the airport. Selection of restaurants in the SBB station.

Great stay

The rooms need room safe, in room coffee, and in room fridges. Also guests should be admonished by staff when doing obviously inappropriate things like putting bare feet and dirty socks on lobby tables and chairs.

The hotel was great, rooms was clean and very comfortable. Shower was super good! Parking is at the convention center, so there were plenty of spots. I was able to walk to the airport - 10 min walking in a straight path from hotel to airport lobby with smooth floor, which made easy to roll the luggage. Public transportation is also available in front of hotel.

Amazing stay - super clean and comfortable hotel. Updated bathroom with a good shower and amenities. Very comfortable stay, good safe location of the property - near to bus, airport (10min walk) and restaurants. Highly recommended and would definitely stay again.

Very convenient, quiet and comfortable for a 24 hour airport stopover

The breakfast was too expensive for our budget. Otherwise we loved the stay at Ibis. Everything was top notch. The location was very convenient to "transport public" as our relative lived at Grand Saconny

Very handy hotel with easy access to airport &city

Handy location, an easy 10 minute walk from the airport or even easier on the regular buses (bus 5) from right outside the airport to right outside the hotel. All Geneva hotels will email you a free city wide transport pass (worth 10CHF a day) on check in which means you can use the bus from outside the hotel to the city centre/airport for free, or the regular trains from the airport station a few mins walk away too. The staff are really helpful and the rooms are quiet, modern and comfortable with a nice lounge/bar area too. There is a supermarket open late in the airport station a few mins walk away too along with cafes, shops and restaurants. Very handy hotel for a stay before a flight or for the city as it's only 15 mins on the free bus to/from the city! I'll be back no doubt!

Quiet, but there was no free coffee or drink as hotel said

It is very difficult to find the property from the Geneva airport. The directions for walking from the airport were very difficult. Finding the No. 5 bus was not easy either, but the bus was fine once we found it. I would not advise having people walk unless there is a safer and more clearly marked and lit path for pedestrians.

Unfriendly staff

The staff was really rude -- whatever you've heard about the way French people treat tourists, you can expect at this hotel, particularly from a woman with brown hair at the front desk. Made the mistake of asking for the free transit pass and she acted as if printing that for me would be akin to kicking a dog. Maybe ask for your pass before you arrive as the airport was not giving them out the day we arrived and this hotel does not have a shuttle so we paid for the bus. The area around the hotel & airport are not walkable so you should plan to take the bus. The hotel is behind the bus stop, directly across from the park. Follow signs for the Ibis and Hilton. The property is modern and cute. The shower is a nightmare - water got all over the bathroom.

Lacked certain basic conveniences in the room like no teakettle/coffee maker, no iron and ironing board, not even a bag to keep your dirty laundry. Bed was comfortable but pillows were not. Bathroom was nice. Property location close to the airport but otherwise in the middle of nowhere making you dependent on the food (limited choices) available in the lobby.

Perfect location if you are flying out of Geneva airport. Was able to walk from hotel to check in counter at airport in just under 20 minutes to catch an early flight.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in every regard. The whole place had a super cute decor — very stylish and more than I expected based on it being a “budget” hotel. Rooms were clean and quiet. Easily walkable from the airport and there is clear signage. Highly recommend if you need a place for a night near the airport.

totally adequate washcloths absent no place to set open luggage- so I used 1/2 of the bed. wierd shower door( or lack thereof) engineering guarantees too much water on bathroom floor.

Great stay in Geneva

Stayed here for a few nights for business (UN agencies, short bus ride away): location is practical (right next to airport + train station - just jump on the #5 bus - same bus also takes you into the city). Mindful that this is mainly serving the conference centre and so is a working location, not for touristy purposes. Hotel itself is cool and boutique-style; staff friendly and accommodating (last checkout, luggage storage, etc.); breakfasts pretty wholesome; rooms clean and practical (for the price). Loved that this all allowed me to just focus on work (and not stress re practicalities). Two thumbs up.

Really good for the intended purpose. Clean, quiet room with basic amenities. We got everything we needed for a quick overnight stay close to GVA, at a good price. Food/bar options could have been slightly more elaborate, but ok.

It was very convenient to walk to the property from the aeroport. The dining options were extremely limited and nothing else was walkable. No shopping was walkable. But, all we needed was a place to sleep because of a missed flight. For our needs of the moment, it was an excellent choice.

Convenient airport hotel

Very convenient hotel within walking distance to the airport. There's a park across the street. The food available is good for a simple, quick, dinner.

Very convenient to the airport. Easy check in and great service. We ordered food from the cafe' and the food was very average, but the prices were very high. Would definitely stay here again but would go out for a meal.

Excellent location within a 10 minute walk to the airport. The number 5 bus stops outside and will take you to the centre of Geneve in 20 minutes or so. Clean. Friendly staff. It’s an Ibis. You get what you pay for. No frills. We thought it good value.

The location was excellent for its proximity to the Palexpo and the airport. We used the bus tickets they provided us for our daily tour to the old town and lake areas. The bus stops were less than 100 yards from the hotel

Great hotel for Airport and Palexpo Arena

For attending the Palexpo for an event the location was perfect. 10 minute walk to the airport where there was also a small shopping mall and supermarket. Only minimal gripe was after an event bar and food service slow and understaffed and also maid service knocking on my door at 8.30am on a Sunday (don’t forget your do not disturb sign!). Hotel also provided free travel card for all public transport and bus to city was literally over the road and took only 15 minutes. Value for money hotel.

This property had an excellent location as it was within minutes from the airport and only 20 minutes from the bus station. It was very modern and simple (Ikea style) yet clean.

"Winter Mode" - no air conditioning

Basically the hotel is nice and staffs are friendly. The room is quite hot and we were trying to switch on the air con but it doesn't work. Called the front desk and they said it's winter mode and they can't open the window due to security reason. (WHATTT!!!)

Ideal 4 conference;walking distance to airport

I attended a conference in the Palexpo Conference centre and it was a breeze, staying in the Ibis Styles hotel, approximately 100m from the entrance to the conference centre. Being 5 minutes away from the airport, makes it as convenient. For a holiday excursion, I would rather book a hotel in Geneva close to the station, but for the conference and flights, this was ideal. Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Only reason I gave an average score for comfort, is because there is no fridge in the room.

Brand new hotel.. you can walk from the airport, and from the hotel the bust stop is iright outside soyou can move anywhere from there. Comfortable rooms and good service from the staff.

it is a typical case that while investment is done on the properties, no on human resource. the staff may not realize that guests use this hotel not because of the staff service quality but the quality of property. Well, even about property, taking the price into consideration, it is an average level.

Madness of how to get to the hotel from airport/ station Cost a fortune in a taxi. And why would one walk with no directions or a pick up bus Would not recommend this on this alone. Bus back to airport was fine

Nice and easy stay, we needed a place that’s close to the airport, as we had an early flight in the morning. This hotel is awesome, less than 10 mins bus ride to the airport and the bus stop is just a few mins walk down the road. Friendly staffs, stylish room and good price. Definitely will come back again!!

Simple, clean, warm, comfortable. No wake up calls because The rooms do not have telephones... Tough luck for those who don't have smart phones but no big deal for most.

The hotel is new, quite modern and very clean. The location is a little bit isolated, not easy to get to, unless you use public transport.

A very useful place to stay, extremely close to Geneva airport

Simple, clean and affordable

Nothing fancy about this hotel, but it’s comfotable and does the job. The shower was good, the bed was fine, the room was clean - the basics are all covered. Breakfast was decent too. My only complaint was that, for a business stay, the desk is too small to be useful. I could barely fit my laptop on it. But for the price, no complaints.
