The staff were so friendly and helpful. We had a very relaxing time.

We booked a suite with a hot tub and terrace with sea view. The terrace was great but there were many ants coming through the patio door. We notified staff and they sent someone to clean it. But 2 days later we saw ants in the closet and they got on my clothes. I had to shake out my clothes. We notified guest services and she didn’t do anything other than have housekeeping come by and give us new towels. The hotel is very old and out dated. Other than that the view was beautiful. The restaurant buffet was ok we went once for breakfast and once for dinner. I would not pay for all inclusive here.

Beautiful hotel, great staff - the pool is amazing

We loved the top notch service we received. The room was beautiful with a great view! We love a room where the A/C works great and our room exceeded our expectations! We did the all inclusive option and it was well worth it! The food changed every day and the quality was fantastic! The daily and nightly activities were fun to attend. We have already talked about staying here again next time!

Loved this Hotel! Iberostar are a great chain Thanks to Guiliana on Reception- lovely lady and a great help :) All the staff were friendly , buffet breaky was delicious and the views were super !

I chose to stay in the premium sea-view suite with terrace. The staff was nice and the place was clean. These two positive qualities do not make the stay a 4 star experience. The facility is very very outdated. The room does not feel welcoming. There are no rugs anywhere and you are walking on bare outdated tiles throughout. The fixtures and furniture are old. Im not sure why the front lobby is so nice and remodeled. This should have been invested in the guest rooms instead. Also, photos in expedia show the newer affiliate resort next door, including the pool photos. No where in the description does it mention the resort next door. Expedia, please look into this as it is false advertising/ marketing. Far from a 4 star. You will not get Mallorca vibes here.

This was our second visit to this hotel, last year we only had breakfast included but as the dining opportunities in the surrondings was limited we had dinner a few nights at the hotel. We where very impressed by the quality and the various themes on those nights which made us book dinner included this year. That was unfortunatly a mistake - this years dinning expirences was nothing like last years - quality was ok but not more. I have the expression that savings have been made which made our evenings less enjoyable in relation to last year. Given the poor other options we will find another place for next years holiday in Mallorca.

Room layout and design are not user friendly

The hotel is in a beautiful location, the views from the restaurant, the bar and the rooms are fantastic. Usually a sea view is reserved for those wishing to spend more but this hotel has been designed so that everyone can enjoy the scenery. The property is incredibly clean and the staff are extremely warm and friendly. We have stayed here twice and we will definitely be returning next year.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. So relaxing, so clean, so serene, great buffet/food and the staff was amazingly friendly. Perfect hotel for a 3 day get-away to get some sun and rest and relaxation.

The hotel is beautiful although some parts of it are a little outdated. The ac is fabulous. The terrace with hot tub is beautiful. There is a some lack of privacy with the glass being the only separation between each terrace. The staff is great and everyone is helpful and kind. The location is spectacular and close to many areas. Street parking was free and convenient.

Overall enjoyable stay with my family. Most of the reviews you’ll read are pretty accurate but I’ll share some quick pros and cons i experienced.. Pros: -The absolute best part of the hotel is location. Quiet and situated right on the bay, you get direct private access to the water and exceptional views right from your room and dining areas. -Service everywhere at the hotel, from the restaurant to the ground floor bar was excellent. Everyone was kind, attentive, and did their best to make you feel welcomed. -I had the half board option so i only had breakfast and dinner. Dinners were buffet style and there was a large section that served a chefs special which changed every day. This was always tasty and the best part of the buffet. Cons: -Adding onto dinner, i think its ridiculous that drinks (obvious exclusion of alcohol) is not included in the half board option. Even water has to be paid for which is a joke because they refill the bottles with the same free water that is dispensed in the machines they have set up on every floor for guests. Just an obvious example of a money grab by the hotel. -Breakfast was absolutely underwhelming, i don’t see how people found anything delicious. The only decent options were the pastries and the omelette station, and even that was always made overcooked. -Rooms can use a bit of an update but not a big deal. -Only listing this for those who care about a gym in a hotel—Just an awful tiny space, broken equipment, few light weights, 1/10.

This property is located on a beautiful geographic location with great views from every space. The hotel at best is 2.5 star for an American tourist. The prestige plan truly is not worth the price. The breakfast inclusive package is convenient for a buffet service. The non Prestige area pool has the best pool size service , which at the prestige area is non existent. Front reception staff is very basic , no hotel shop, no concierge . Quick walk into tons and a large beach

The property itself is quite nice, great view of the ocean and have direct access to the sea. the staffs are very friendly. Room is clean but a bit dated. The hotel was advertised as having three pools, however, if you don’t book the prestige room, you can only access one main pool for (poor people and can’t get access the other two. The free room upgrade when available doesn’t work either for Expedia platinum member because they are clearly available for additional charge. The hotel is in an area with full of English taverns and shops. Don’t expect any good local cuisine around. We wanted to do the Japan restaurant on the premise the last night but wasn’t informed that that restaurant is reserved only and the cut off time is 5pm. Wish we were told about that when check in so we know and planned it accordingly.

This was our 3rd time staying at the Iberostar Jardin del Sol. It just keeps getting better.

Not a wonderful stay. Have never written a negative review but the hotel was packed and they were not ready (eg couldn’t get any seats at the pool, towels ran out, and we waited for over 90 minutes for food and drinks). Yikes. Hotel staff would not validate Gold member status either. Views were gorgeous though.

Wish I had read a review like mine before I booked. Generally good. Well maintained and checks most of the boxes. But it falls short on what it should and could be. The mostly good: I came with my wife. Our goal was to relax and mix remote work. We were not looking to explore much of the area beyond the property. 4 night stay. Did all inclusive and stayed in the Star Prestige section, which gave access to an arguably nicer, quieter area, with a few perks. The food at the buffet was satisfactory with the occasional ‘mmm that’s good’. But it didn’t blow us away. The not as good: Rooms are in need of an upgrade. I believe we had a standard king bed room. Some fixtures and surfaces are tired. Bathrooms hungry for a layout change…should have 2 sinks, and the tub without screen option to common space is a miss. All inclusive is not good value. The menus offer inclusions. However, the line they’ve drawn between what is and isn’t included (I’m speaking about food and drinks here) falls short of what it should be. You’ll pay half of the full price on more ‘premium’ options. But given the steep price already commanded, it feels like an unnecessary cash grab. Should I really have to pay for a margarita? Food menu at Star Prestige is also additional pay. Come on Iberostar, just do it right! The gym needs work and expansion. Too small an area with mediocre equipment that squeaks. I get it, not a lot of these guests want to excercise. But when we do, make it easy and comfortable. The

I came to the hotel for my honeymoon and it was really gorgeous. All the staff were lovely and the food was exceptional. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a little bit of luxury in Mallorca and very affordable. I would love to come back!!

The hotel had a great location for us, quiet, short way to the beach and also not far to the busy part of Santa Ponca. The service was really great, whether at the reception or at the pool. Also the rooms are really well equipped. The pool was clean and from the deck chairs we had a nice view of the bay. All in all we were very satisfied and will come back :)

It’s nice but outdated. I didn’t enjoy my room because the walls are extremely thin and would hear my entire floor coming home between 12-2 am waking me up. Also most of the pools and dining options are limited to prestige stay members so keep that in mind because I didn’t realize at booking. The one pool and buffet available for regular members was just ok. The access to the sea is a bit dangerous to get down to in my opinion

Fabulous Hotel

This is the second time we have stayed at the hotel, it is an excellent hotel with great views, the main reason this is such a great hotel is the staff who are all excellent.

Love the no kids policy. This place has everything you need and you never need to leave the hotel to have an amazing relaxing holiday. This is our second time at this hotel and it’s such a joy to look forward to every year.

Had a terrific stay here! Location was great, pool was great and service was terrific. I’d recommend upgrading your room to include a terrace!

I had an amazing time at Iberostar Jardín del Sol. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The staff gave me the best recommendations to explore in Mallorca. Juanlo was the best bartender and remembered my drink orders from day 1 so there was no need to ask. The food at the buffet was great - serving caviar and lobster one night. I would highly recommend purchasing the Star Prestige all inclusive package as you get better access to pools, liquor, and bars.

Another fantastic week at Jardin del sol. We’ve been coming for the last nine years, often twice. Fantastic staff in restaurant and bar. Special thanks to Ricardo who always makes us feel exceptionally welcome. Can’t wait for our next visit.

Pools for VIP members only

During my 10 day stay in Spain we decided to ended at the Iberostar. By looking at the pool pictures we decided it was going to be our relax time before heading back. Do not book this hotel if you think you will get in in those pools. The nicer pools that show up are only for their VIP members. If I had known this I would’ve stayed at a different place for a cheaper price.

I feel completely lied to. Online this hotel looks amazing and the VIP amenities are supposed to be awesome. In reality the hotel is terrible. There are no VIP services and not worth the money.

Great service ! A little outdated in terms of suites , could offer a few more things to do around pool, maybe bingo or cornhole, to get people involved and meet new friends, otherwise fabulous .

The property was very clean and staff were excellent. Only booked the breakfast board which was excellent. Lots of choice of fresh fruit and iberia meats. If you are renting a car, parking can be a challenge as it is only available on the street.Otger than that its a beautiful hotel in Mallorca.

One of the nicest and most under-rated resorts we’ve stayed in! Beautiful view overlooking the mountains and cliffs off into the ocean, the friendliest stay and stunning pool. Rooms are all suite style and huge, we can’t wait to come back here!

Quiet location outside centre, nice hotel views and average buffet. However, all-in means that most of the food/drinks/snacks are still to be paid for at half price!

Great views that you can’t get enough of. Food was good for AI, but it felt a bit repetitive by day four. Shame they don’t have other evening options. My only red flag is that a lot of the pools/beautiful areas shown in the photos are only for “Prestige” customers eg those paying more. The photos are misleading as they are labelled “pool area” vs “Prestige pool area”. Also we checked out at 11am but our flight was it until later. Even though we were AI we were told we would have to pay for our drinks, as our AI had ended. I’ve never experienced that before at an AI hotel.

Food is good, pool is nice and most staff friendly. But pillows not comfy in room. The snacks at prestige level were unimpressive. Chose this hotel because of vip gold status and room upgrade. Not only did they give no upgrade they spent the first 3 minutes upon arrival trying to desperately sell me the upgrade. I asked to speak to the hotel manager but they said the hotel manager works in an office outside the hotel. Asked for the name off-the hotel manager and they gave a first name. Wont be going back.

I did enjoy my stay at this property as the room was incredible. We stayed in a room with a private hot tub. I do not like the fact that there is only the buffet with all inclusive. Gets very boring eating in the same place. No hotel entertainment whatsoever. It is definitely overpriced.

Nice hotel. Room was a bit dated and our balcony overlooked the down stairs balcony (with outside terrace). It was odd sitting out. Staff and good were good. Next will go Prestige

The most friendly staff I have ever encountered in a hotel. From the moment you arrive, every single person you meet is happy and only too pleased to help.

Overall a wonderful stay!

The view was beautiful and overall our trip was enjoyable. My only “complaint” is the unnecessary towel regulations - you are only allowed one beach towel at a time. If you accidentally forget it at the pool, they make a huge fuss about receiving another one. However, everything else made up for it. The staff were kind and the drinks were fantastic.

Great experience at this hotel. breakfast choice is great. def worth the upgrade and rooms are super spacious. Its quiet as it is adult only. staff is super friendly and helpful. location on the cliffs is great and restaurants in walking distance. Enough sun beds and space for everybody. not many places with natural shade though. Loved the pool bar and special access to the sea, which was very warm. Def would come back here.

In the last 6-7 years we stay in this hotel for a week every summer. It has great access to the sea, also has three outdoor swimming pools. Service is amazing and the food is always outstanding (buffet style, hats off to the chefs and kitchen staff). It is very close to Palma 25 mins drive, easy access to airport. Also we were very pleased to see that the see life is more abundant compared to few years ago. Plenty fish under the jetty to snorkel around.

This is the perfect romantic getaway. The staff was very hospitable and very attentive to your every need…. The food was great with a nice consistent variety each night. My wife and I were able receive the rest that we needed. I can go on and on about this location. It was a beautiful experience!!!

Pretty property. We had a terrace room which was very nice. Food/ dining/bar-pool service was very average if I’m being honest. Rooms were very clean.. hair dryer was broken and phones offer no instruction on how to reach main desk. That needs attention. Shower/toilet room was very compact. Otherwise, a nice hotel in a beautiful setting.

Staff - Very friendly and accommodating - Restaurant staff don't speak English so cooking instructions difficult. Property is clean. The rooms look like they could do with a serious modernization. Small things like no USB plugs go a long way, and only one cushion on the bed?Every room has the same view so not sure why pay extra. Variety at Buffet is standard. The pool area is nice and clean and well maintained.

Staff , accommodation and food were great. Only thing lacking was entertainment , which would only last between one hour and an hour and a half.

We've been to this hotel a few time and always have a great time. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast buffet is always good. We only have B&B as the hotel is close to some wonderful restaurants. Since our last trip, back in 2019, they have become more eco friendly with all body wash etc in refillable containers which is really great to see and water points on all floors to refill containers. We always have a suite and it would be good if a kettle could be provided, but that's the only negative point.

Best place

This is one of the most beautiful resorts we have stayed at in over 40 years of travelling. The food for half board was amazing and every single staff we encountered from cleaning staff to bartenders to waiters to animation staff to front desk were all super friendly and customer focused. We have never encountered consistent outstanding service and friendless like this before. Nightly entertainment was pretty good with some nights outstanding. We also liked that the resort was adults only and seemed to attract a crowd more 40 and over. Overall, 6 stars!!!

The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. We upgraded to a Star Prestige room and could not be happier, the room was was excellent. A few staff members definitely made our stay worth it. Mandi, our waiter was attentive and always had a great vibe. Our bartenders Joel and Ivan were great, we had some great conversations over better drinks. Loved this property.

Setting

Views are amazing from all areas of the hotel. Although it was very clean, the rooms are a little dated. Star prestige well worth the upgrade, the top pool you get access to is by far the best and most modern.

The most beautiful hotel I have stayed at. Everything is superb. I stayed at Prestige and it was wonderful. The food is super delicious, the view leaves you speechless, the room impeccably clean, and the staff, so the staff is flawless, I have never met such professional and hospitable people in any hotel. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. I would come back anytime.

We loved relaxing here after hiking the camino we needed a luxurious place like this to hang out for four days. It’s a beautiful property with an amazing view, and even better service staff. One complaint is the 70 euro a day charge for having three people versus two

Charming in an old-fashioned way. Room was very dated but well-maintained with good view. Good breakfast. Nice ambience in restaurant. Toiletries were not refilled. Hotel has no grounds. Only place to move around was by the pool area which was congested. Good restaurants nearby, but Peguera is a nicer area with better beaches.

Amazing Adult only hotel

Everything about this stay was amazing from the minute we checked in to checking out. We had upgraded to star prestige room this entitled you to separate pool area and lounge. It was lovely the fact the hotel was adult only making it quiet and chilled. The walk into town and beach was 10 minutes plenty of local restaurants. The staff at this hotel make it special they are friendly and can’t do enough for you.

6 night stay in Paradise!

Overall, we had a great stay!! Will definitely be back to Mallorca to visit and would stay here again. We did not stay in a star prestige room so we weren’t able to access the two other pools but the main pool was really nice so we didn’t mind. Food at the breakfast and dinner buffet was good, a lot of options. We had a few issues with AC not working on first night and shower pressure being very low. The staff did immediately fix the AC issue we had. On our last night, they put a bottle of champagne in our room! =) Thank you to everyone at Iberostar!

The property is in a good location as you don't have to go to far for anything. The downside is on the street parking which can be a challenge

The staff here went above and beyond when our hot tub didn't work. They upgraded our room and were more than accommodating. All of the rooms that we saw were wonderful. I will definitely be back and recommend it to anyone who wants a quiet relaxing environment.
