When we arrived you had to walk up a narrow staircase. The person that checked us in didn’t offer to help with our luggage. The narrow staircase was very difficult to go up with our luggage. I almost fell backwards several times. It was so noisy that it was very difficult to fall asleep through out the night. Around 7 am the noise started even more louder. Monday and Tuesday children were going to school and the noise from them was really bad. When they started school you heard from the floor above us like furniture dragging across the floor. Checking out again no offer to help with our luggage. Would not stay there again. Would not recommend it!

We loved the location of the property. We had arrived early and the room was ready if we wanted to pay extra but we decided not to. The location is what sold the property to us- very convenient as we were only there for one night and wanted to see as much as we could. There’s lots of restaurants and bars nearby as well as little shops and of course the cathedral is opposite and we had a lovely view of it from our room.

The location was ideal. It was very clean, quiet and the owner was friendly. Our room did not have a city view or any real view at all. The window was in one corner with an air conditioning pipe going through it. The toilet had a pump system which was noisy and the shower tray filled very quickly. The beds were comfortable and the room was cleaned daily. Overall it was good but would have been even better if we'd had a window with a view.

Location is prefect but property sound proof is non existing. Very noisy in the morning. The staff and service is disappointing. Informed arrival time but no one was there. Need to message and call but still no reply. Need to wait at entrance for 15 mins. Later was asked to pay cash and said credit card payment not working. When mentioned I don’t have enough cash, the staff requested me to go withdraw cash from machine. Total paid is more than what quoted in Expedia website. And never return change as in assuming “keep the change” although it is not much but should have return the change and only keep it if the guest say so. Overall bad experience

The property is beside the cathedral, with a short walk to the Royal Palace and other sights. The Central Station is about a 10min walk. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Location was good. However every morning very noisy as it is right next to a school, where teenagers congregate in the mornings.

Nice stay

I had a great weekend stay. I will say that I booked 2 beds, but was given only one bed. We would have preferred our own beds. Otherwise a nice stay.

The hotel was too far away from any amenities, food and drink expensive. The pool was taped off at certain times during the day for no apparent reason. It didn’t feel like a five star hotel.

Great location, lovely room, superb value

I vicini della cattedrale was an amazing bargain - I found it on hotels.com and it was £39 a night including breakfast. We had a huge room, views over the cathedral and gardens, good wifi, lovely bathroom and a great location. All it lacked was a kettle but I guess I'm just too bloody English! The location was superb, everything we wanted to see in the city was within 10 minutes walk and there were loads of cafes nearby. Service was excellent too and I still can't believe what good value it was!

I booked this property but when I arrived at the hotel at 10.00 PM, the door was closed. I called the number on the door. The property owner said that he was out of city and could come in 30 minutes. I waited for the property owner for more than 30 minutes. No body showed up. Then I called customer service and requested cancellation and refund. Although I couldn't stay at the property, the owner of the property did not accept to refund. But, thanks to expedia customer service, they covered my expense. I never recommend the property.

Beautiful position next to th cathedral in Palermo. Very clean & well maintained. The owners/staff very friendly & helpful. Nice to be able to pop back if you needed a break & have use of the kitchen. Only slight downside is that it's underneath a school, so lots of chair scrapping & moving about 8am, but doesn't last too long. Would highly recommend & would definitely stay there again.

Central, but noisy

Great location, but very noisy rooms. The B&B is located at a secondary school ovelooking their outdoor gym/play area. Breakfast at nearby cafe - vouchers coveret approxh half the costs.

Súper recomendable

Todo estuvo muy bien. Teniamos una habitación muy bonita con balcon y vista a la plaza de la catedral. El b&b era tranquilo. Santo nos tuvo muchísima paciencia el primer día esperándonos para dejar nuestras valijas antes de hora y luego a la noche para hacer el check in. La zona es muy linda y muy tranquila de noche, a diferencia de otras zonas de Palermo.

Affacciata alla Cattedrale di Palermo all'interno di una vivissima isola pedonale la struttura è risultata centrale rispetto ai luoghi che volevamo visitare senza alcun bisogno di auto, ci ritorneremo.

Enkelt och bra hotell vid katedralen

Hotellets läge vid katedralen är mycket bra. I centrum men på den del av den långa huvudgatan som är lugn om kvällarna. Nära till allt som museer, marknader, restauranger, frukostställen osv. Rent och fint på rummet. Bra att ha tillgång till kyl i det gemensamma köket.

Se anche al posto del letto, ci fossero i sacco a pelo ne varrebbe la pena per la posizione. Tutto ottimo

Centrale, comodo e pulito

Il B&B e' in posizione strategica, con vista sulla cattedrale e accesso dalla piazza. Vicino alla stazione Palazzo Reale-Orleans e raggiungibile con il treno dall'aeroporto. Centrale e comodissimo per tutte le visite principali della citta. La camera, con bagno incluso, e' spaziosa, ordinata e pulita.

Hervorragend.

Gutes Hotel mitten in Palermo Altstadt. Alles schnell erreichbar. Sauber schöne Zimmer. Nettes Empfang und gute Beratung. Preis ist unschlagbar. Wer Ruhe sucht ist hier falsch. Frühstück würde ich empfehlen vor die Tür zu gehen. Alles in unmittelbarer Näher. Bestes Kaffee und Snacks (süß oder herzhaft). Wenn wir kommen gern wieder.

La posizione è ottimale a pochi passi si trovano i monumenti più importanti di Palermo,la stanza era molto accogliente con una bella vista sulla cattedrale, l'unica cosa negativa è stata l'accoglienza del gestore poco socievole e sbrigativo nel spiegare le cose.

B&B che si affaccia alla Cattedrale di Palermo, più centrale di così non si può. Comodo per arrivare ovunque

Vista super, ma bisogna sudarsela un po'...

Sarebbe stato tutto perfetto (la posizione è fantastica) se non fosse stato per il sistema di gestione dell'aria condizionata: quando si lasciava la stanza veniva tolta la corrente elettrica, con conseguente spegnimento del condizionatore. Questo comportava un surriscaldamento della stanza durante il giorno, con conseguente scarso comfort al nostro ritorno e difficoltà dell'impianto (non particolarmente potente) a ristabilire una piacevole temperatura durante la notte. Capisco le esigenze di risparmio energetico, ma questa scelta risulta poco gradevole in pieno luglio a Palermo...

Le responsable de l'hôtel est très accueillant, il se soucis du bien être de ses vacanciers ! Je recommande cet établissement ! Chambre refaite tous les jours, très propre ! Hôtel très bien situé !

Mi sono trovata benissimo, l'apposizione poi è a dir poco eccezionale

Lo consiglio sicuramente. Attaccato alla Cattedrale é vicinissimo a piedi a qualunque monumento o punto di interesse. Il signor Santo é molto gentilile e disponibile. Abbiamo scelto la colazione inclusa, che invece sconsiglio, perché tale opzione, scopriamo in loco, consiste in un buono di 5 Euro in un pur vicino e ottimo bar.

Perfetta posizione per le visite in centro città.

BB confortable et très bien placé

Grande chambre , confortable, bonne literie. Tres bien placé près des sites principaux à pieds, dont la Cathédrale illuminée le soir...Réveillés par la rue, mais hors circulation en saison. Attention, ne pas prendre avec une arrivée tardive a l'aéroport de PMO supplément (20/30€) pour vous attendre après 22 h. Mais aide de l'hôte pour le parking. Bien. Point noir Pdj à l'extérieur avec bon de 5€/pax insuffisant ...meme si en face du Duomo ! sommes gourmands le matin...

Mi è piaciuto praticamente tutto (location ineguagliabile), la cura della struttura da parte del sig. Santo, la sua cordialità e la pulizia della stanza. Se devo proprio trovare un difetto, diciamo che non è silenziosissimo.

B&B ristrutturato da un anno, mobili e servizi igienici nuovissimi. Ottima posizione per visitare tutto il centro storico. Gli appartamenti si affacciano da una parte sulla cattedrale offrendo una splendida veduta e dall'altra parte sul via Vitt.Emanuele. Nelle vicinanze troverete ristoranti di ottima qualità, bar, negozi di souvenir. Santo, il proprietario, con la sua estrema cortesia, vi consiglierà i luigi da visitare e dove poter mangiare; sempre disponibile per qualsiasi necessità. Se dovessi tornare a Palermo, sceglierei ancora questa struttura.

Struttura stupenda a due passi dalla Cattedrale di Palermo, camera con vista Cattedrale. Io avevo l'opzione nel B&B solo Bed senza colazione.

Absurdo!!!

Em setembro viajamos para a Palermo feita reserva no Hotel I Vicini Della Catedrale, devido a sua localização mas tendo antes visualizado fotos no site que nos agradaram bastante.Na escala do vôo para Palermo houve um atraso e chegamos mais tarde Palermo. Tocamos a campainha insistentamente quando um hóspede abriu a janela e nos informou que não havia ninguém ali para nos receber. Tentamos insistentemente telefonar para o endereço que constava na reserva e ninguém atendia. Deseperados por estarmos em ambiente não conhecido, no escuro da noite, com as malas, sem ter para onde ir, o desespero foi se avolumando. Um morador parou para ajudar e conseguiu ser atendido. Tivemos que aguardar na rua até a chegada do dono da “hospedaria” . A hospedaria não tinha elevador. Subimos os vários degraus e ele nos acomodou num quarto SEM JANELAS que só tinha um vão pelo qual passava o tubo do ar condicionado. Este BURACO dava para o pátio de uma escola. Havia nesta hospedaria sala do café da manhã fake. Só para a foto porque o café da manhã era no bar na rua com direito apenas a consumir 5 euros por hóspede. Somos idosos com dificuldade de locomoçã e tivemos que subir e descer aquelas escadas, nem para tomar café da manha no bar da esquina . Não teríamos feito reserva num HOTEL que não tivéssemos estas prioridades.Depois de muita reclamação ele finalmente nos colocou no quarto cuja imagem estava no site. Absurdo .... Nem o pessoal da Hotel.com conseguiu contato com o proprietário.

In pieno centro storico, di fianco alla cattedrale con finestra dedicata e a pochi minuti dal Castello dei normanni, cappella palatina,martorana. Da tutta la Palermo storica. A 100 mt fermata del bus navetta gratuito che gira tutto attorno alla ztl e quindi agevola ulteriormente il soggiorno. Ottima disponibilità del proprietario ad accogliere i bagagli all'arrivo e a lasciarli per molte ore in attesa del trasferimento all'aereoporto. Davvero un gran soggiorno.

Attention arnaque!

Je n'ai pas eu la chambre correspondant à la réservation. Je voyageai avec une amie et j'avais demandé 2 lits simples. L'avis de réservation mentionnait une chambre 'quadruple' et nous avons eu une chambre avec un lit double. Sans aucun mot d'excuses, ni rien alors que je lui en faisais la constatation. Une service très insuffisant: il ne m'a pas rendu la monnaie lors du paiement des taxes de séjour prétextant ne pas avoir la monnaie….. Et tout comme ça!

Dos días en Palermo

Habíamos reservado una cuarto cuya descripción ponía: "Habitación clásica doble, baño privado, vistas a la ciudad". De hecho en las fotos se veían claramente ventanas grandes con vistas hacia la catedral. Entonces ha sido muy decepcionante tener como única ventana un cuadro de 30 sobre 20cm con "vista" a un patio interior. Nos sentimos un poco engañados. Sin embargo hay que decir que la cama era muy comoda, el baño muy grande y todo muy limpio. Y la ubicación era perfecta! Pongo solo un 3 por lo que nos ha pasado con el cuarto sino hubiera sido un 5 seguro.
