The staff was amazing overall. From front desk to housekeeping they met all of our needs. The location was great too. In a very popular area of the city with great food.

The Hyatt Centric Madrid is a pet-friendly hotel, but we were unaware of this until our arrival. Upon entering our room, we noticed a strong odor resembling dog urine. We brought this to the attention of the concierge, who suggested we go for lunch to give them time to clean the room. However, when we returned three hours later, we were informed that no cleaning had taken place because there team did not noticed any foul smell. I explained that they might not have noticed the smell because they had become accustomed to it. Overall, we found the hospitality training of the staff to be lacking.

Located in the heart of the city. Lots of dining options in walking distance. Food and coffee in the cafe on the first floor were excellent.

We loved staying here 2 nights, in the middle of all the action on Grand Via. We walked to shopping, bars/restaurants and important tourist attractions. Coming by car and needing to park could be problematic in this area due to high traffic. We arrived by taxi and it was very convenient. Our room balcony overlooked Grand Via shops which we loved. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The rooftop bar is a gem! Our family recommends this hotel without reservation. We’d love to stay here again if/when we will be back in Madrid.

2nd time to choose this hotel , it’s my favorite stay choice while visiting Madrid, though little pricy yet worth every cent paid ! This time I stayed on 7th floor and would like to make a small observation about the shower & sink water which its temperature flactuates un comfortably!! Also sometimes it’s a long wait for the elevators during peak times . Otherwise, I love everything in this hotel 👍👍

We stayed 3 nights at Hyatt Centric. What a lovely hotel, incredible staff, spacious soundproof rooms and great location.

The food was excellent and the ubication perfect. We have an excellent vacations.

Room was quiet and clean. The air conditioning worked great and was nice after a long hot day exploring the town. The rooftop bar was fun and convenient.

Very beautiful hotel in a prime area of Madrid with easy walking to so many of the sites. Very quiet even though it was in a busy area. Loved the rooftop restaurant with great views. Staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Our stay at the Hyatt in downtown Madrid was amazing! From the moment we arrived, staff were attentive and kind. Jose at the front desk was very helpful and friendly! Our room was perfect - we opted for a view of the Gran Via which was lovely. The balcony does not have furniture but that was OK with us. There is also no pool at this hotel so keep that in mind. One suggestion I have is for an ice machine to be available to guests - there is a surcharge of ~£5 for a small bucket of ice from room service. Staff allowed us to have an extended check out time until 2pm free of charge. This was wonderful because our flight wasn’t until 4:30pm. Thank you for a great visit to Madrid!

This hotel is a true 5 stars hotel and amenities and service are superb. The only con is the Gran Via location, which Is not what used to be. Trash, homeless, smoking is so bad in Madrid.

A bit noisy outside on the street and outside our room, which was near the elevator but overall a wonderful stay!

This property is excellent, very welcoming staff. They have a great rooftop bar. The staff are very helpful in getting you taxis and giving recommendations. Will definitely stay here again when back in Madrid.

For the price that the hotel is charging - the bathroom is outdated and the floor was dirty! The A/c and ventilation kept switching off or had some sort of a malfunction. There is no mineral water in the room .. the only water was filtered tap water that was being filled in a hotel branded bottle. I am very disappointed by Hyatt Centrics standards to the point that I did not even have breakfast there at the hotel even though I had paid for it.

Central location on Gran Via. My room was modern and efficient with a rain shower and bathtub, and a terrace which was a bonus. Front desk staff was professional and efficient. Very fast check in. Not your typical front desk set up, but it works. Seems to cater to a younger crowd. All staff is very professional. The housekeeping staff was absolutely outstanding. Room was always cleaned and set up very quickly each day.

The family room was perfect! Loved that it was two adjoining spacious rooms each with their own bathroom. The rooftop bar area was a fun place to go for pre-dinner drinks and the hotel's location was unbeatable in that it was right on the main shopping street and very walkable to restaurants, museums, parks and other attractions.

This hotel is extremely well located. The hotel is nice and very clean. The service was very good. The manager had snacks delivered to our room twice. Staff was friendly and willing to help you when needed. We will stay here again without a doubt. The restaurant on the first floor had some delicious and unique options for dinner.

Amazing location, hre6room with a Balcony, great service, the only problem is the elevator (there is a popular rooftop bar which the guest that is coming for it occupied the elevator and) it's take +/-10 minutes to get back to take something from your room.

Great place to stay in central Madrid!

We enjoyed this property very much! It is a great location in Madrid, clean, comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. After arriving on an overnight flight, we were thrilled to have our room ready early. Maria at the front desk was lovely and helpful. The room was spacious compared to some other European hotels we have stayed in. Checkout was a breeze and the staff held our luggage so we could continue to explore the city before having to catch a taxi to the airport. Olga was super helpful at that time, and we much appreciated it! We can't comment on the restaurant as we were out and about early, and all day. However we can give an enthusiastic thumbs up for all other aspects!

It was the third time we stayed here. We love it and can’t wait to return. It’s conveniently located in downtown Madrid, next to bookstore, shopping and amazing eating facilities, both local and chain like McDonalds, Dunkin Donuts or Taco Bell. Highly recommended!

The Expedia website had a picture of the rooftop area with the word “pool “ written on it which would leave any to believe the property had a pool however it did not. Additionally the rooftop bar had private events eve night and you did not have any access to the area. There are much better hotels in the area for the money.
