I gave them a lower rating on the property, even though it wasn’t their fault they got dumped done with a lot of snow and had to find places to put it. It was a great stay, friendly, nice and quiet otherwise.

I like the staff they were very accommodating. My microwave was old and didn’t work and they immediately replaced it. I’m very thankful and I had forgot some toiletries and they were very accommodating at the front desk. What I didn’t like was that there was all kinds of cut down brush off the trees and somewhere along the tree line I had stepped in what look like doggy poop at night time.

We stayed 2 nights for concerts in the area. Staff were friendly. Room was clean and the beds were super comfortable. Convenient location. Price was as affordable as it could be for the area and time of year. Would stay again.

The room had a musty smell...not good for allergies...no knobs on vanity...windows were all wet and dripping...hallways had the same musty smell...gelt like my room was at the end of a maze...

Smells horrible! The bed, sheets are normal. Breakfast is less than average .

Overall fine. We requested for 2 Queen bed but double bed was given. Also even a normal walk gives sound below. Assume with a small kid, how to control their running. We believe sound proof flooring would have avoided these concerns. Breakfast was limited for a 240 dollar price per day. Floor carpet was dirty. We didnt have a choice but accept for that day. Staffs were really great. No questions on that. For that area, it's pricey but with minimum amenities. Sound proof could have made it better.

It makes sense the only images you see of this property are inside rooms it’s a very old facility even though they make it look a little more modern than it should look

The man checking us in was rude

This hotel is a bit old and dated. Needs a good renovation. Breakfast was very limited in choice. The bed was fairly comfortable.

Check in staff was nice. Hotel has a musty odour and is very much in need of a renovation but sheets and bathroom looked clean.

The bathroom has a lot of mildew on the ceilings. The fridge was not clean. I understand that Gravenhurst is really busy in the summer, so it would be hard to keep rooms perfectly clean, but some major cleaning during the winter would help. One good thing: The A/C worked well and was quiet.

The staff was good and welcoming. We had an issue with our tv on the second night and the staff came up and fixed it. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was simple and light. What was not good - the internet was terrible and our iPad would not connect. We had to keep putting the password in our phones many times. The building itself looks old and worn, as does the carpet on the stairs and in the room. We had ants on 2 occasions on top of the TV unit and also in our cooler with the lid on.

Property has ample parking even for smaller commercial vehicles quiet stay clean rooms I will say breakfast is not great if you are diabetic or health conscious at all bread ,cereal ,bagels and or a banana is all that is offered

The rooms were clean. The service desk was very good. Disappointed with the complementary breakfast. Very limited with only cereal, bagels, toast, coffee and juice.

Easy check in and check out. I did have to put a security deposit down after i paid for the room. Breakfast was simple; bagels, toast, juices, cereal, oatmeal and fruit. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was terrible.

The room was relatively clean, and some updating had occurred, but much of the space needed further improvement. The breakfast had absolutely no protein, so it should be noted that it is a continental breakfast, rather than breakfast. The lobby was strange with a weird rock style decoration and pots of flowers all over it.

It's location was most convenient to all the places I had go and meet up with the all the family members and there activities.

Hotel reception staff was pleasant and efficient. The hotel itself was worn and the rooms were dated. The beds were very soft from over use. The breakfast room was clean but breakfast was limited to toast/bagels and cold cereal. All together, nothing memorable in a good way.

Heroic Efforts - Above & Beyond

The room was lovely, carpet on both floors (1st & 2nd) looked and smelled brand new. Hotel was very close to and accessible from Hwy. 11. Everything was clean in the room, hallways, lobby & breakfast room. The staff were exceptional - great service finding the lost Teddy Bear before I even knew it was missing! They reached out by text message and saved the day even before I had left town. You have no idea how much that meant. Well done guys!!!

Pretty much what others have said. Front desk staff friendly and helpful. The room wasn't very clean. We wiped the headboard down, cloth came out black. Disgusting. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast? Nothing to be excited about for sure. The room is overpriced. I would consuder returning if the rate was between 99 and 109.

Nicely furnished rooms. Washrooms are another story. Door wouldn’t even open without hitting the toilet, shower wouldn’t drain, so had to run water 30 seconds at a time. Staff were wonderful. Breakfast could have used more options.

The bathroom is quite outdated and not thoroughly cleaned. The room itself is average but the property and amenities could use an update. Decent location with food and grocery nearby.

Was here for 1 night while attending a skating competition. Rooms were spacious, clean and the beds were soooo comfy. Pillows too big for my liking but maybe others like that. A very small breakfast is available but I didn't have time. appeared to be very basic but a start to the day. Would stay again.

I did not like the lack of choices for breakfast. No decaf coffee, only a couple of cereal choices, no comforters on the bed in the cold weather.

In spite of a special request and a phone call they didn’t have a ground floor room with a queen bed, they only had a ground floor double beds. I'm disabled and had to sleep on an angle. The room had black mold. Thehfan was filthy. We couldn't use the AC. The bathroom sink stopper wouldn't open so we had to prop it open with toiletries. This was their only room and we had no reservations elsewhere.

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed it. Check-in was fast and friendly and the room was very well renovated. The bed was excellent; soft and comfortable so we slept well. The complimentary continental breakfast suited us since we don't eat big cooked breakfasts. We would stay here again if Gravenhurst is on our itinerary.

Location is very easy to find.

Room was dirty. There were dead and live bugs throughout the room. Bathroom walls and toilet were very dirty. Beds were extremely uncomfortable. Breakfast choices were bagels or 2 types of ceral. Only juice was apple, orange juice was out of service. Terrible experience and will never stay again.
