Went in the off season but can tell the workers have a tough job, but are doing great.

Resort stay

Interesting stay. A big resort with recreational activities. It is a bit dated but clean and neat. Easy to reach and travel to surrounding attractions.

Stay here continuously for two years. Love it.

Comfortable and good value but free the deer!

Slightly faded and worn but still very comfortable and clean. Helpful and friendly staff and both the swimming pool and private beach are highlights. The only major negative is the deer enclosure, which is cruel to the animals and severely damages the hotel’s eco and sustainability credentials

The property is very tired and not maintained well. It's clean and tidy and the staff are lovely but it needs renovation.

Our stay was a mixed experience. The highlight was definitely the room, which was perfect for families with kids. The children's themes and ocean images created a fun and engaging atmosphere that our little ones absolutely loved. However, the breakfast was a bit disappointing. There were not many options available, and the quality of the food was not up to par with what we expected from a hotel of this caliber. Additionally, I would recommend the hotel consider catering more to non-Chinese clientele. Specifically, it would be great if they could offer more Muslim-friendly food options to accommodate guests with dietary restrictions. This would make the stay more enjoyable and inclusive for a wider range of visitors. Overall, while the room was fantastic for families, there is definitely room for improvement in terms of breakfast variety and inclusivity in the food options.

Convenient location. However, the place is quite dated. There is an amazing mall in the basement and nobody goes there. We went on a weekday so it was amazing value

3.5 star resort, ok but not great

Howard Beach Resort cannot be deemed a 5 Star resort, it's closer to 3.5 stars in western terms. The decor is outdated throughout the complex and in need of a revamp but overall it's comfortable enough. The games room is good but the table tennis and snooker tables are worn but just about useable. The "Gym" equipment need updating with weights that are rusty and seen better days. The pizzas on offer aren't worth the money you pay they are frozen variety and better off getting the burger option if your inclined for food. The shopping complex is good but very little in the way of vendors you'd actually visit. The games and arcade is probably the only thing that is top notch as well as the beach. Overall the resort would is ok but I wouldn't recommend it if you're thinking 5 Star resort.

Nice Place

Very clean. Excellent amenities and beach access. Great for kids. The only negative comment is that the western style breakfast was lacking - No proper toaster and the bacon and sausages were soaking in water or brine. Other than that our 5 night stay was fantastic.

The positives are the staff, room service, breakfast, pool and beach access. The property is well worn and is in need of renovating. I suspect the best times were in the 70s and 80s.

It is not a 5 star hotel. Overall space is generous. Lots of fun there, places to go, lots of parking space and starbuck is conveniently located!

We had a great stay here. Room was enormous and very clean. Little beach by the hotel is lovely, very peaceful and clean. Hotel is walking distance to the night market and restaurants. Kids loved the pool and game room.

Great location and great staff.

Renovation needed

Excellent Chinese-style breakfast. However, the facility needs renovation. The KT One mall was empty like a ghost town on Sunday evening. We stayed at Cesar Park Hotel for two days and Howard Beach Resort for one day and feel downgraded.

We are very disappointed with the hotel considered it's rated 5 star. It was our family vacation with grandparents. One family member had food poisoning from their complimentary beverage and was sent to the hospital the next day. One of the reasons we decided to stay in this hotel is their swimming pool. But the pool was full of dead bugs on the bottom. Overall, the hotel is not as nice as it depicted.

Great place to stay especially with young children. Everything is so convenient. They have many things to keep kids entertained that you never have to leave the property during the day if you don’t want to. There is also a night market close by. Staff are all polite and courteous and the place is kept very clean.

The resort is okay. Breakfast was fine. Our room had a musty/mildewy smell, but was clean overall. If you like to hang out by the pool with a pool bar, this is not for you. It is a huge property, and we weren't keen on the deer "farm".

Great location but dark and dated.

We had a nice stay. The location of the hotel is very nice, lots of things to do with the kids, very near the beach with its own tunnel going there, and there’s a direct access to the new mall built beside it. In the B2 of the hotel is a foodcourt and various entertainment for all ages. Even if the weather was not nice we didn’t have a problem at all. We just wished the rooms could be updated, it’s pretty old. We had a suite and the couch was already very soggy. I hope the management has plans of updating the rooms soon because this hotel has very good potential.

Good service, staff are attentive and friendly. Housekeeping does a good job. Overall the hotel is spacious and clean.

Family trip

Friendly service, clean, and quiet. Room was huge and very comfortable. Beds were a little hard. Couldn't find the Wifi info until we turned on the tv. There was an ice bucket in the room, but we couldn't find an ice machine on our floor. As the hotel was full, breakfast was crowded. However, the staff was very efficient and the line and the food service was very smooth.

Honest stay

Big pool, easy access to the beach. Hôtel a bit outdated, but nice aboriginal decoration.

Its really a pleasant experience. The service was good and very passionate.

Location ok, limited nightlife, lower expectations

Dated and could do with an upgrade. Breakfast is disappointing quality for the star rating it gets. There is choice but, processed ham and cheese slices, fruit selection very poor. The room we had was on 4th floor, bright and airy unlike the ones below. It could do with a decent child’s play area outside. Note that “water space” has height restriction so younger children unable to use. Locations is okay if you like street food, not so much shopping. There’s very limited nightlife around and the hotel bar/lounge is big but no atmosphere, no entertainment and closes at 10pm.

Great resort for families with young children

We booked a double for 2 adults and 3 kids (9, 5, 3). Upon checking in, I inquired if the two beds would be king sized. Apparently, the size of the beds in the doubles are different according to the rooms. Luckily I asked and was given a room with two king beds! The room itself was very spacious and fairly clean. The age of the hotel is starting to show but overall it's still a great place to stay. The showers by the beach were perfect for rinsing off the sand. We all LOVED the pool. It's sized for babies and up so that was key. We had dinner and breakfast at the buffet but thought it wasn't worth it. Overall, we would go again but maybe eat elsewhere.

The hotel is close to the beach. The pool is wonderful. Overall, it was a wonderful experience as a foreign tourist.

Our stay was OK, the (quadruple) room humongous, bathroom was renovated, carpet bit worn out, king sized beds (although advertised only as queen size), I did not sleep very well on the mattress, restaurant OK, welcome drink super basic, rental bikes not very well maintained but they did the job. Overall our stay was OK but wouldn't consider this a 5 star hotel, system needs calibration.

grear family hotel!

Great family hotel with a beach across the road which was excellent

Hotel is old but has a great breakfast and big swimming pool. It also has a trail to small bay beach, I think it’s very convenient for family trip.

Great value for price

A hotel that has everything you need --ocean view rooms, close to beach, near night market, huge pool, things to do inside when it rains, spacious rooms, great service. Great for families.

The queen bed is actually combined by two single beds. There is a gap at the middle so make me uncomfortable that I literally can not fall asleep.

The room condition is not so good. It says queen beds. But it’s not! It’s a full size bed. The concierge people are really impolite

When I made the reservation for my stay, I did it as a package included the breakfast, but the result turn out it’s not included, the information on the website was so messy and unclear. Anyway, when I checked in and found out the fact, I called hotels. Com, and they asked me to deal this problem with the front desk in Howard resort, because they said I had already check in. ( Well, if I haven’t check in, how I could find out the problem?!) ...After the manager in the front desk heard what my conversation with the Hotels.com, she helped me with a very flexible solution which I not only got 3 breakfasts but also no being charged for the very expensive extra fee for our family staying in Howard. It’s a very good, and happy experience with the hotel during our staying there.

Great family vacation

Very good accomodation for the price we paid.Staff friendly. We were up graded to lovely sea view rooms instead of mountain view.

The room was advertised as a queen bed. It was actually two singles out together with a bedsheet pulled over. Also, picked the place because of their water world pool. But I wasn’t notified that it was actually going under renovations so the entire shopping and water pool(indoor) was closed. Also there was really loud construction Noise

Everything are ok, except for: 1. Share same beach with Caesar, but comparing Caesar, no free towel, bench and umbrella is provided. 2. Remember to ask the staff for the short cut to go outside, otherwise it’s very far away to walk from the hotel lobby to the street 3. Some areas are under construction for building a shopping mall (cannot find the big waterpark introduced by the YouTuber, I’m not sure if it has been rebuilt to the shopping mall). 4. The gym room and game room is old, not many facilities provided for children. But of course, its price is much cheaper than the price of Caesar, and I stayed in Caesar before, so you may need to decide what you want from the hotel before booking.

Good to stay with

Minutes to night market. Airport Bus Stop is at the hotel gate. The staff is helpful. A bit smelly from the room toilet. Nice breakfast provides

A bit "tired" but still enjoyable

We have been staying at the Howard in Kenting off and on since 1998. The hotel is definitely showing it's age, but still an enjoyable place to stay. Check in and check out took WAY longer than it should have because there was insufficient staff. There was mold in the ceiling of our bathroom, and not enough toasters for the number of people who wanted to toast their bread. I was VERY happy to see an RO water machine at the end of our hall so we could re-fill water bottles, and we enjoyed using the tunnel right to the beach without having to cross the busy street. In spite of the few negatives, we would still choose to stay at the Howard in the future.

2 Stars resort.

Very old hotel, not well maintained, black mold in the corridors and bedroom sealing, room wasn't very clean. Took 30 minutes to get a tequila sunrise, code and hot cocoa were tasting like water. The pool was. Listed due to the rain, not sure I understand why. Recreation center smell musky... Some bar staff had very dirty, teared off sneakers.

It was a nice location, they are working on the hotel which should be done in Winter. To many people !!

The location of the hotel was good but it was old. The rug in the room was dirty. The bathroom smelt ammonia. When I check the shower wall, it was covered with mould. Even the tap was covered with water stain. Fortunately, the towels were clean.

Ok for young families.Average hotel

Hotel mainly suitable for young families.Great pool Beach not easy to get through at present but may improve when building work completed.Beach small and swimming area limited. Breakfast was noisy, busy and not of good quality.Other food options limited to a buffet meal or pizza.

This property was so extensive that it had everything - from pool to workout room to restaurants to Starbucks to a water park to a convenience store to a shop with authentic Taiwan beef noodles.

Only one thing I like about this hotel. Location. It's very convenient as the beach is right outside of the hotel as well as the bus station. I booked this hotel because of the location. It is a very old hotel and everything is very outdated inside. Room is old and the hotel provides very cheap shower/shampoo/conditioner stuff. I had breakfast and also dinner in the hotel which was not good. Limited food choice and the quality is not very good. In addition, I could hear the baby crying who stays in the next room. Next time when I go to Kenting, I will try another hotel for similar price.

遊樂設施太早關閉，（撞球⋯⋯等等）早上不需要這麼早就開，應該晚上可以延後一兩個小時。

房間乾淨 連建築外圍的花園都整理得很好 服務人員親切會主動打招呼

海岸向きの部屋からは美しい景色が挑める。が、反面、あまり海岸寄りだと、館内廊下が室外となり、強風による夜間の隙間風が入口から入るほか、それに伴うドアの音も気になる。

상세한 후기가 별로 없어서 걱정했는데 결론은 너무 만족하는 숙소였어요 가족들이랑 같이 여행했는데 가오슝 시내까지 셔틀버스도 다니고 무엇보다 직원분들이 너무 친절하셔서 기분좋게 묵고 왔어요👍 조식먹는 공간은 깔끔하고 맛은 쏘쏘였어요 바닷가가 숙소와 바로 연결되어 편하게 이동할수 있어요 전반적으로 시설도 괜찮아요!

今年第三次入住，整體而言是不錯，但這次只有一人用餐，且不是很有胃口，在二樓餐廳想點炒飯外帶卻被告知：除了比薩外不能外帶，關於這點覺得有改善空間。

正直なところ施設の古さは否めませんが、スタッフが親切で過ごしやすかったです。

每一年我們必到呢間酒店住，超級大泳池，雖然比較舊，但乾淨企理，設備齊全，服務周到，員工有禮貌

離大街近逛街方便 飯店不新但設施該有的都有 其實在大街飯店算是不錯的選擇

きれいなホテルって設備もいいし、プライベートピーチもあるし、プールもあるし、朝食もとってもおいしかったです。また泊まりたいと思っています。

Kenting National Forrest Nah

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstücksbuffet war in Ordnung. Das Abendbuffet ist soweit auch in Ordnung, eben en Resort. Insgesamt könnte das Resort eine Renovierung vertragen. Das beste ist due Lage mit der Nähe zum National Forrest.

住墾丁福華感想

住墾丁首選~ 雖然設備比較老舊, 但是就整體服務跟環境還是很棒, 有小孩可以游泳的大泳池, 有沙灘可以讓小孩遊玩,飯店旁邊還有經營美食街,整體很完善

棉被的毛屑粉塵多了點 冷氣的風量溫度有點不好控制 其他都很滿意

Very old hotel with great facilities

The room is way too old. Kind of dusty everywhere. Very nice pool for the kid. Direct access to the beach is very convenient

飯店很大，環境很好，唯一的缺點就是隔音非常不好，可以聽到外面關門聽音，上面蹦蹦跳跳，隔壁講話聲音

房間很大，該有的設施都有，早餐也很多樣。

飯店老舊，但服務好與遊樂設施都很完善

入住之前已經有預期福華很老舊，所以不意外，但還是在第一天晚上遇到有小強，向他們反應後處理很快也非常洽當，主管也有致歉。 除此外遊樂設施非常不錯 泳池舒服寬敞 ，去沙灘方便，樓下遊戲室也可以給小朋友放電，離墾丁大街也不遠。

Groot gedateerd resort. Lekker groot zwembad en tunneltje naar het strand waar bedjes worden verhuurd. Onder het hotel een soort van spook winkelcentrum. Allemaal winkels, restaurants en barretjes maar geen mensen! Ontbijt veel keuze (Aziatische) maar het is het net niet. Was het minste ontbijt van onze rondreis door Taiwan.

노후화된 시설 침대 밑 먼지 많음. 조명 어두움. 흡사 제주도 신라호텔 느낌. 직원들은 친절했음.

三人住房，飯店卻只提供二人的器具。經反應後即時改善。 唯飯店內的餐廳，主廚先生，有很差的用餐經驗，需要改進。

游泳池小朋友玩的很開心！離小灣跟墾丁大街也很近

尊爵海景四人房風景絕佳，泳池很大又乾淨，離海灘很近且飲食方便，很棒的住宿體驗！

令人失望的五星級飯店

房間老舊，門鎖居然還壞掉。 早餐尤其讓人失望透頂. 唯一可以加分的是他的小灣沙灘 通道以及小灣沙灘。

房間蠻大的、雖然陳設與裝修老了一點、但是乾乾淨淨的、泳池不錯、離墾丁大街不遠、步行可到、停車免費而且自由進出還是可以的

從大門口的接待人員到裡面所有的服務人員態度親切有禮，隨時注意房客的需求，早餐豐富好吃，下次渡假首選的飯店

設備太老舊 霉味非常重應該是和地毯有關 飯店人員不足相對的服務態度就會令人不舒服 建議把全區的地毯換掉 要不然那種氣味真的會令人很不愉悅 容易影響旅遊心情
