Wonderful!

Wonderful! Charming hotel with warm and inviting front desk help. The rooms had so much character. Breakfast was amazing. I look forward to coming again.

We were very satisfied with our staying the hotel. The staff was very friendly and very supportive. I really liked thatvthe hotel was offering coffees and teas throught the day. The location is great very close to all must see venues in Budapest. The only negative is the absence of an elevator

Nice hotel, large rooms , great breakfast

Stayed only one night here but enjoyed this hotel. It’s in a traditional Budapest house with an interior courtyard. Our room was quite large and nicely decorated. As we arrived late we checked in ourselves (the management left clear guidance). Breakfast is buffet style and generous.

Excellent stay in the city centre. Hotel is clean with a great breakfast. The staff was super helpful. Highly recommended

Great place to stay

We were really happy with our visit. Staff were great and helpful, room and overall hotel conditions were great as well. Breakfast was perfect for all of us, we never even had an idea to grab breakfast outside. Location is good, close to a lot of public transportation

Lovely old private home turned into quaint boutique type hotel. Very attentive staff on every shift. Worked with us past checkout by keeping our luggage while we had a private tour and allowed us to return and stay in lobby/restaurant area to relax & enjoy coffee/tea and mulled wine while we waited for transport for a river cruise to arrive for us.

Great hotel, great service, for reasonable fair

Very nice option

The hotel pictures match the room, great property, great breakfast, nice bed, TV worked, great bathroom,over all pretty good. A little far to walk from and to the property, most of the sight seeing is a little far but we got great advice from Nikki on booking the hop on bus and using Bolt for quick transportation. The only negative is I requested a service to be picked up at the airport, the service was not there when we arrive and I had to pay premium from the airport service shuttle to the hotel.

Booked this hotel for my husbands birthday, it was a great choice. If we were to go back to Budapest, we would definitely stop here.

Nice little hotel, well located

This is very nice little hotel and in general we were very happy with it. It is very quiet, well located (not in the very centre but very close to it and near tram/bus stations). I just want to say that I was expected something larger, it was rated as 4-star hotel and I thought that it may be missing some of the attributes of what is expecting from that rating (or maybe those are just my expectations...).

Located on a very quiet street, with some buildings around needing renovation. Very modest-looking from the outside, but inside very simple and beautiful. Staff were happy, friendly and helpful from first to last - lovely welcome on arrival, always happy to help, and very helpful with arranging transport to the airport when we left. Our room was simply furnished and immaculately clean, lots of space and very very quiet - we didn't hear any traffic noise and were barely aware of other guests. Breakfast was fantastic - a wide selection of foods to suit every taste, beautifully laid out and fresh every morning. Coffee machine is switched on for breakfast every morning and only switched off at 9pm - and it's a Jura! Nice touch is the 'Honesty Bar' in the breakfast room - saves going out for a bottle of wine. We loved the hotel, had a wonderful stay, and wouldn't hesitate to stay at House Beletage again.

This property was very clean and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. It was in a good position for seeing and getting to the sites. Breakfast had a good choice.

Loved this hotel. If you want to stay somewhere nice but not the big "chain" hotels choose this one. Personalized service! On a quiet street in the old town of Budapest. Close to the very easy to use public transportation and many restaurants. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. The room adorable, uniquely decorated and clean. These are traditional European spaces with high ceilings, wood floors and moldings. You have 24hr access to a lovely private courtyard to relax. I highly recommend this hotel.

Wonderful time

We had a wonderful 3 days in Budapest, I visited with my 84 year old mother and the hotel was lovely and location was perfect for us being so near the metro and the trams meaning getting about was convenient and simple. The city is great for relaxed city break and not too crowded even for July (not by we Londoners standards anyway)

Coffee machine unavailable in the Afternoon. No Sangria at 4:30 otherwise great place

Amazing staff, beautifull and homy

The staff was incredibly friendly and willing to help. It was such a nice and homy place, not a super fancy- unpersonal hotel, but a friendly, approachable and super homy feeling hotel. We were absolutely well received and taken care of. Even if the reception only works till 22.00, they DO CARE about what happens with you as a guest at EVERY moment, they sent me all the information to arrive at the hotel in the night and left us a few handwritten messages to arrive to find our keys and walk to our room. As I previously said, even if this is not the "fancy style luxury" type of hotel, it is super comfortable, has incredibly nice decorated areas (common areas that are actually usable and inviting), and the staff is not only amazingly friendly and willing to help but also totally helpful and really informed on everything you can ask them. In the "not so great part", the bed was not super comfortable, I guess it could be improved, but nothing terrible. I would say the location might not be the best, even though is still not a bad one. Considering this, the hotel is so great that is still definitively worth it, we would go back without even thinking.

Fantastic Hotel

What a wonderful hotel. The style and decor was beautiful. Breakfast was great, so much choice. Staff spoke excellent English friendly and so helpful. Great surroundings and location, easy for walking to the main areas around the river.

Lovely decor, thoughtfully done. Spotless throughout. Service and attention to guests was noticeable and staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were great and constantly topped up. Would highly recommend.

Excellent

Wonderful experience from staff to service. I just hope they don't get egotistical and over charge for bookings due too their popularity because the best thing about this place is the unconscious idea of its star quality. It exceeds all expectations. Anyone who has the slightest complaint needs to love life.

Wonderful place!

The hotel was beautiful and the staff were amazing. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and help us find fun things to do. They even got us some sandwiches when they found out we had to check out super early because our flight left very early and we would miss breakfast. Highly recommended!!

Incredibly clean rooms with little touches added eg- water and cookies on arrival. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable on the area and the places to go, The location of the hotel is brilliant, very close to transport links as well as close to local cafes and bars. I would 100% recommend staying at House Beletage.

Beletage September 2017

We stayed here in September 2017 and found the hotel to be lovely and clean and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The down side to our stay was the breakfast. It did stipulate in the hotel advert Continental breakfast and there was a lot of it but usually there is a bit of a mix including bacon or sausages??.Whilst I got by on the breakfast my husband didn't and had to have a daily morning kebab.Also when we was leaving it was an early morning flight which meant leaving the hotel at 3.30am.There was no-one around as all the reception staff had gone home !!!! In saying that as we wouldn't have made breakfast they did leave baguettes in our fridge in place of that,which I thought was a nice thoughtful touch. All in all it is a nice hotel and it's not far from all the local amenities

Fabulous accommodation, which has high ceilings and is extremely spacious. The courtyard is really lovely, breakfast is delicious and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The only small issue is that sometimes the wifi disconnects but this is only minor.

Good, but...

Room was large and clean but parquetry flooring was in need of repair. Large comfortable bed. Breakfast was below standard.

Pleasant B&B w/ helpful staff

Comfy, safe, and clean B&B within walking distance to many sites & restaurants. But what made it special was Nikki, at the desk..She had great advice on food, sites, etc extremely competent, knowledgeable and friendly... A real jewel for the Hotel! neighborhood was safe and quiet. Good tip- Excellent wine bar around the corner!

A Boutique Experience at a Great Price

If you're going to Budapest, stay here. It's like a boutique hotel in the States, at a fraction of the price. They want you to get to know their city and will go out of their way to be helpful. The rooms are large, with high ceilings, tall windows, and comfortable beds. It's close to public transportation and good restaurants.

Mysigt litet hotell med personlig service och vänlig personal. Mycket bra frukost och har ett bra läge med fina restauranger och barer i närheten. Lungt läge.

Rent och fint. Hjälpsam personal. Vi behövde äta tidig frukost och personalen gjorde allt de kunde för att vi skulle kunna starta med frukosten så snabbt de kunde. Frukosten var klar minst 10 min före utsatt tid. Väl fungerande AC. Det var över 30 grader under vår vistelse. En trevlig innergård där man kunde sätta sig och fika eller äta frukost. En väl fungerande taxi service fanns också. Nära till olika restauranger, kafeer, närbutik tvärs över gatan och nära till kollektivtrafik. Hotellet kan verkligen rekommenderas.

10 dagers opphold

Rent og pent hotell. Rommet var dog veldig lite, men det funket greit. Vi hadde et opphold på 10 dager og var veldig glad det var aircondition på rommet. Budapest er varmt i juni/Julia😊 Personalet var veldig serviceinnstilt og hyggelig og de hjalp oss med alt vi hadde spørsmål om. Frokosten var bra med stort utvalg av pålegg. Utvalget for glutenfritt var allikevel ikke så innholdsrikt. Kun vakumpakket brød og en form for cornflakes. Hadde ønske om et noe større utvalg. Ca.7-10 min å gå til nærmeste holdeplass for buss/trikk/metro. Noen hyggelige kafeer og barer rett i nærheten. Liten butikk rett ovenfor hotellet.

El personal de trato excelente y el hotel muy bien comunicado. Zona muy tranquila. Instalaciones un poco antiguas. El baño muy pequeño.

Hotel mit Selbstbedienung

Das Hotel ist ab 21 Uhr ohne Rezeption nur mehr mit zwei Codes betretbar.Eigener Koffertransport ohne Lift über eine Wendeltreppe. Die Zimmer sind gut, geräumig und schön eingerichtet, das Frühstück in Ordnung. Ansonsten gibt es außer Kaffee nichts, man kann sich aber im Büdchen gegenüber bedienen und in einem schönen Innenhof sitzen. Das Hotel begrüßt einem mit alten Keksen, einem Apfel und einem kleinen Wasser nur einmal und möchte glatt für dieses "gift" gelobt werden.

L'endroit est vraiment top! Avec un personnel très accueillant. Rien a redire, hôtel très sécurisé, propreté impeccable, confort au top, petit déj' excellent.

établissement pas loin de l aéroport(25 euros)bien placé dans le centre ville,à 10 mn de l arrêt de bus de touristes (numéro 3 ) coût 57 euros pour 4j ,comprenant transport, visite du château et petite croisière sur le Danube,donc pas besoin de louer une voiture,au calme et petit commerce juste en face, le personnel est très disponible , l hôtel est très propre , le petit déjeuner est très copieux , la literie est parfaite,avec petit frigo et coffre fort , petit plus , une court intérieur pour le soir ( par contre, parler l anglais est fortement conseiller pour cette ville) alors , personnellement , je conseille a tout le monde de choisir cet hôtel car excellent compromis entre , prix,qualité et commodité

Pieni perhehotelli loistavalla sijainnilla. Hieman sokkeloinen, rappusia paljon, ei hissiä. Upeat korkeat huoneet, kodikkaasti sisustetut isot huoneet ja aula, sekä ihana aamiaishuone. Aamiaisvalikoima runsas, varsinkin paikallisten leikkeleiden osalta. Iloinen ja aina auttava henkilökunta. Vastapäätä hotellia yökauppa ja pub, eli Sörözö. 10 minuutin kävelymatka ratikalle ja busseille. Myös ravintoloita lähistöllä.

Grosser Genuss in Budapest

Sehr schönes, kleines Hotel. Das Personal ist ausserordentlich hilfsbereit, sympathisch und freundlich. Die Lage ist nicht allzu touristisch und sehr gut. Es hat viele feine Restaurants in der Umgebung. Tram, Bus und U-Bahn sind in der Nähe.

Très satisfait Accueil très attentif Merci

Litet mysigt hotell med Centralt men lugnt läge. Inga ljud från gatan hördes till vårt rum som låg mot innergården. Stilfulla, rena rum med roliga små detaljer. Ex bestod foten av sänglampa av en kaffekanna. Frukosten var helt ok med möjlighet att sitta ute på en mysig innergård. Personalen var väldigt hjälpsam med kartor, turer och taxibokning. Skulle helt klart boka detta hotell igen och kan absolut rekommendera det vidare.

Besonders gefallen hat die liebevolle Einrichtung, das sehr sehr freundliche, jederzeit hilfsbereite und aufmerksame Personal. Die gute, zentrale aber dennoch ruhige Lage. Ideal für einen Städtetrip mit sehr gutem Preis / Leistungsverhältnis. Klein aber sehr fein.

Sehr schönes, gepflegtes B&B. Die Einrichtung ist sehr gelungen, alles sehr sehr sauber. Perfekt gelegen, um schnell in der Stadt zu sein aber dennoch ruhig um sich nach einem Tag in Budapest zu erholen. Personal ist äußerst hilfsbereit und nett. Frühstück auch super!
