I spent a night on a trip to Shirakawago, and I was satisfied with the service, room condition, public bath, etc.

Amazing experience, staff was extremely kind and helpful especially with my little to no Japanese. Food service was a rush but arriving minutes, maybe 20-30mins before your time will benefit you. Especially at breakfast, that long line was no joke so be the first one there. Dinner was easy, almost no wait. Onsen was perfect, amenities was full. Ocean Wing was great, classic tatami room, and sleeping to the sound of the ocean was amazing. Beautiful views from the room. Shuttle bus was easy access, across Atami station. The hotel may not be new but no big deal, embrace the Showa era feel.

The hotel has weak wifi security. Anyone who walked into the lobby could log onto the network as the password was visibly displayed.

The Wave seemed a little tired and a wee bit out of date but the staff were very welcoming and the breakfast was good. Good value for money.

Room size and breakfast

Limited private parking space, need to make reservation in advance, otherwise, nearest public parking is about 3 minutes walk.

The hotel is kept really clean with very attentive front desk service people. The breakfast spread is good as well. The only minor negative is that the room is a bit small but average for a Japanese Hotel.

We stayed for two nights. The stay felt convenient and relaxing. Breakfast is rather asian breakfast. I likes it a lot. The spa with the hot spring is small but nice.

Very “cozy” room , everything was clean and service was excellent. The breakfast was pretty good also but coffee wasn’t that great.

The staff and facility were great; the breakfast was also good. I especially liked that they included four nice pillows with the queen sized bed.

The last who checked us in was very helpful and kind The freebies the hotel advertised did not exist, they were all UNAVAILABILE.

Very convenient location, walkable to the main Takayama tourist area and with lots of food available. The hotel’s hot spring is good and clean.

Overall great cost-performance. Located about 11 min walk from the old town away from the crowds but still walkable. Also about 9 min walk from Takayama station. The public bath in the hotel was awesome. Amenities were generous - drinks bar (non-alcoholic) in the cosy lounge, free coffee, face care etc. The room was modern and super clean too. Would stay here again when next in Takayama.

The staff is very helpful. I really love the breakfast which offers a variety of tasty food. The hotel is definitely worth staying and the experience is excellent. Highly recommended

Great stay in Takayama

Very nice hotel, friendly staff, convenient to train station and to local sites. Rooms are small, typical for Japan though. Breakfast was not included, but reasonably priced and excellent variety and quality.

Everything works well except for the rooms, they feel small for 2 people. If you have a big luggage , there is not enough space to open it and walk in the room at the same time. Besides that everything is clean and good service.

部屋もベッドも清潔で快適でした。 大浴場は少し小さかったですが、問題はありません。 慣れていない者には高山の街角はよく似て見えるので、目印になる施設との位置関係を示したり、看板を分かりやすくするなどお願いします。夜は少し迷いました。

館内はとてもきれいでした。 駅からのアクセスも良く静かで、ホテル周辺には飲食店も多く助かりました。 高山市に行く時は利用したい。

風呂、立地、設備など満足でした。

コンパクトなホテルですが、広めのベッドで寝泊まりは快適でした。室内のお風呂はいわゆるユニット。浴場があるので、湯船には疲れます。周辺に遅くまでやってるご飯屋さんもあれば、朝早くからやってるご飯屋さん（しかも安い！）もあるので食事は外で取るのがいいと思います。

リーズナブルな料金ですが館内は清潔で大浴場もあり気持ち良く宿泊することができました

駐車場は事前に電話予約とあり、電話したところホテル敷地内の駐車場を予約でき、車を置いて朝市を見てからチェックアウトしました。フロントやレストランの方も感じの良い対応でした。また飛騨高山に来ることがあれば泊まりたいです。

朝食は高い割には大したことがなかった

大浴場がありゆっくりできた。近くに美味しいお店があり高山の郷土料理を楽しめた。

部屋も温泉も綺麗で快適

スタッフの対応も暖かく気持ち良く滞在出来ました。部屋とトイレの段差が無くてつまずく恐れも無く安心できました。次回滞在の機会がありましたら間違いなくここを利用させてもらいます。

この度は、お世話になりました。宿泊料金、スタッフの対応、清潔感は良かったのですが、総合評価で⭐️4にさせて貰ったのは、駐車場の数が少ない為、市営の駐車場を案内されたがホテルとの提携をされてないので駐車料金が掛かってしまう点が気になりました。 市営の駐車場との提携がされていれば⭐️5を付けさせてもらっていたんですけどね！

特に不具合もなく快適に過ごさせて頂きました

お風呂はもっと広くないと宿泊者からキャパオーバー感ありました。

大浴場もあり静かで落ち着けました
