I do like this hotel for 25 USD ! i had some beef with the staff, but somehow they needed it + x eventually ;) Some rooms are well equipped (with fridge, microwave, sofa, etc) and big bathroom. Air condition is working, there is parking. The hotel kitchen offers decent food !

The people working at hotel have all desires to make u feel good..they ask u for opinions , they are renovating all the place and they are friendly and take care of the guest..love to be there.

The room I was offered smell like mold. Nice hot water supply. Friendly staff. But the rooms needed repairs. There was a huge spot on the ceiling which indicated water leak. Someone tried to access my room the second day I was there. The key to enter my room deactivated every night. I had to go to the reception nightly to get access to my prepaid room. SMH.😪😪😪😪😪😪

Terrible hotel. The online pictures show a simple yet clean room. I was shown 2 different rooms and the furniture was run down, beds were stained and with hairs, walls had humidity stains and the smell was stale. They offer free shuttle to and from the Airport but, when I arrived to Tocumen, the staff of the transportation company that provides the shuttle service told me that they were not working with this hotel anymore and had to pay for a taxi to the hotel. I asked for my money back and was told that I'd have to speak to the supervisor, who was not present and allegedly would not arrive until "later" in the day. Since I was on Panama for only a day, I did not have time to return to demand my money back or go to the police or any other authority. AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS

Overnight Stay

The location of the hotel was in a part of town that is not extremely safe. There was ample parking in a lot nearby. Staff were friendly & check-in was a breeze. The size of the room was decent; hot water & water pressure was great. Wifi speed worked really well. Would not recommend for families or extended stay.

Budget hotel, fairly convenient

The hotel is not too far from the city center. Nothing special but a reasonable budget option. The staff are helpful and friendly. At least one of the staffers speaks English. There is a small restaurant next to the hotel, rather than inside it.

Needs upgrade in the rooms and persons speaking English

The elevator didn’t work the whole time so was there. I was also dismayed with tiny ants walking on the dresser surface.

The property is close to a Delta gas station and convenience store. There is a bus stop steps from the door. Santo Tomás metro station is around three blocks away. There are several places to grab a quick bite to eat along Vía España.

Pleasant and comfortable stay

A clean and comfortable hotel situated near to a main road. The staff are quite friendly & helpful although they only speak Spanish which at times caused a little bit of confusion when trying to ask questions. Good size room and comfortable bed.

Reserved two beds, was giving room with one, changed room and ac did not work, third time was good. Knew it was a cheap room really did not expect much, just a place to sleep.

Easy access to Corridors(Toll high ways)

For the commute of my trip was very convenient easy access to all doesn't matter what time of the day rush hour whatsoever, nerver got stuck on traffic jams.

Not a fancy place but excellent for the price. I had a 20 hour layover and PTY airport is freezing cold. The city center is far but free shuttle + inexpensive room = worth it.

Airport shuttle pickup

If you book this hotel expecting reliable for real airport shuttle pickup, DO NOT. It's a joke. A shuttle bus and driver was found, but had to take someone somewhere stating he'd be back in 10 minutes. The airport is 18 KM from town, more or less depending on which part of town you are heading to. Why not take both people waiting so you don't have to come back to the airport, IF indeed he was planning on returning. I took a cab paying the normal $15 rate instead of waiting to see if he'd return. I don't think he wanted to go to town with just one person.

Toilet wasn't working,there was urine on the bathroom floor from the previous guess,the room was full of waterbug & other insects,no frige,tv with limited channels..staff don't give a damm,parking lots is unsafe,AC is not power full..don't waste your time and pay a few extra dollars and stay at Veneto or Hotel Panama..

It's really bad. I don't recommend it. The air is horrible quality.

Bad experience

I not enjoy my stay in the hotel , hotel conditions were very poor, the breakfast offering was a shame.

Totally unclean and unsecured

Pleasant exterior and staff but rooms were unsanitized, toilet seat urine stained, towels dinge/discolor, comforter over previously slept on sheets. Door lock seems unsecured. Had to spend one night out four reserved due to late night.

Via Espana Is a Bad Choice

The stay was horrible. I reserved over Expeida and paid at the time I reserved. I got there and they couldn't find the reservation at first, then said that it wasn't paid for. They tied to charge me $80 when I had paid $50 through Expedia already. They finally gave me a room. It was unclean. There was hair in the shower drain. The toilet was dirty as well. There were no towels. I went and asked for towels and they said they'd bring them up. Three hours later I had to go ask again. They said that they were being washed and would bring them later. An hour later I had to go ask again and finally got one. They didn't give me any soap to use. The TV was static and didn't catch any channels. The bed frame was broken on one side. I could hear a couple in the next room all night long. The staff was rude and didn't try to help at all.

NOT WHAT THEY SAY

Hotel staff was very nice, and the location is good but I would NEVER stay there ever!!! The free shuttle is not free,a and only runs at certain times. And the hotel smells. I had a early flight so I asked for coffee since I could not get my free breakfast that was included. They said no, that I had to pay for the coffee, niiiiice... Not worth it!!! Go somewhere else. I did it for the free shuttle and that was not that free and they made me go 3 1/2 hours early for my flight for no reason, other than that there would be traffic on a Sunday, there was no traffic. Gross , don't go there...

Old hotel and airport shuttle not convenient

When I booked with my tablet the hotel was rated as 5 stars by the users, however the hotel is very old. The room that was assigned was without light in the bathroom, we couldn't close the window, the AC was old and a strong smell of humidity. When we complain at the desk the lady was very nice and upgrade our room to a suit. It was a bigger room, as well the bed and more clean than the other one. However, the new bed was full of long hair and the jacuzzi was falling apart. The airport shuttle is not available all day long from hotel to airport, it is only 4 times per day and they charge 2 dollars per person, we had to wake up very early to find the only time that fit to our flight departure time.

BUYER BEWARE

It is all misleading. I booked because it said free shuittle, haha. You can't find it at the airport and the info desk there didn't speak english to help me find it (I know I am in their connttry but it's an infoformation desk) bilingual maybe.... So I had to pay for a cab. Then the hotel staff was very nice, but they do not speak english but we made it work. They took me to my room and the hotel smells like bug spray, and doors are ripped off of some rooms. The area is good but I went into a better hotel a block away Euro Hotel and it smelled like flowers & was so pretty. Then I went to book my free shuttle to the airport and there was a slight charge hummm again wheres the free, and only had certain times, so I had to get up at 4:00 to get to an 8 am flight. They are NOT wat they disclose. The area is nice but find a better hotel, this one seems like a love me 1 time kind of place. Oh and I left early so I was not able to enjoy the free breakfast so I asked if I could I get a cup of coffee, no food, for when I got up at 4 am , and they said no I had to pay for it. Niiiice!!!!! Don't do it!!!

DON'T DO IT!!!

Although the staff was very nice, if you speak english, the website on hotels.com is misleading. The "free" airport shuttle shows if you know how to call in spanish. Then I asked to have them take me to the airport in the am which again the "free" shuttle cost me $2. I had to wake up 3 hours before my flight because they have set times, so I did not have a choice. And then I asked if I could get a cup of coffee since I would not be able to enjoy my "free" breakfast and they said NO, so they charged me for my "free" coffee. They area was near everything and the staff was as nice as they could be w/o speaking english, but the hotel was gross... I felt like it was a love me long time place. I walked down the street and walked into Euro Hotel and just the smell and look was beautiful, compared to my bug spray, doors off hindges, Hotel Espana I was in. Thank gosh it was an overnight, and I lived!!! I am surprised hotels.com would allow this type of false advertisement... Don't do it!

Esta bien, pero te venden algo que no es . Las imágenes tienen hasta bañera, pero cuando llegas allá la ducha no tiene ni puerta. En el cuarto alimañas y poca comodidad para poner el equipaje

El desayuno me gusto En.la habitacion las llaves tenian fugas, la puerta del baño no cerraba. No habia mesa auxiliar solo las dos de noche. No habia telefono interno.

Debo felicitarlos porque las remodelaciones son excepcionales; sin embargo en la habitación 408 que me fue asignada hay un muro de cemento que sobresale de camino hacia el baño y mi esposo tuvo un accidente con el. Deben tener en cuenta eso porque es peligroso. De resto agradable todo

Información incorrecta

Pregunté inicialmente sobre el funcionamiento del ascensor y me dijeron que estaba en uso. Al siguiente día ya no funcionaba, tuvimos que llevar con mucho cuidado por las escaleras a una adulta mayor con limitaciones visuales y de movilidad.

No tenían disponible la habitación que compré por medio de la habitación, se me brindó una de menor categoría sin ningún tipo de retribución, el aire acondicionado no estaba en buen estado, por lo que fue muy incómodo durante la noche con el calor Panameño.

Desastre.

Fue un desastre....la.habitacion super precaria y además las cosas muy viejas, la.ducha en mal estado y casi ni agua caliente, la atención de los empleados muy muy mala. Super antipáticos, no los recomiendo.

Fue una estadía larga y nos resultó muy bien hospedarnos aquí. Nos gustó el trato, la atención, la colaboración, el servicio de limpieza, la ubicación, el servicio de transporte de cortesía ida y regreso del hotel a Albrook Mall, y que teníamos acceso al ascensor. Sin embargo, solo tuvimos acceso a internet en la habitación los últimos dos días.

Sucio, dejaron de hacer limpieza de mi habitación 1 día, el elevador estaba descompuesto, no había wi-fi en las habitaciones, tuve que cambiarme de hotel, y olvide el cargador de mi teléfono celular en la habitación, cuando regrese por el me atendieron de mala gana y no me lo devolvieron argumentando que no habían encontrado nada, definitivamente NO LO RECOMIENDO AUNQUE TENGA UN COSTO BAJO, existen mejores opciones en la misma zona y con precios similares
