The breakfast was excellent. That made me eat dinner one night at the hotel restaurant and it too was excellent.
Ok
Stayed 3 nights for skiing trip with sons, very friendly staff could not be more helpful, ski storage was helpful. Will stay again.
Nice older hotel near train station. Great place for dinner. Bed wasnt too comfortable and walls are thin
Great hotel, lovely room and perfect location. Room new and clean. Breakfast great. Staff helpful
Property was fine. Room massive, clean and comfortable. Thought the vegetarian options on the menu were a bit limited and overpriced.
Hotel was great. Really happy with the quality and service. One thing to note is that the front door has 3 steps and no ramp.
Ok, no light in the 1st room though
Only one night stay before skiing. In the 1st room we couldn’t switch the light on, neither the reception lady. Expensive for the location but it was fairly closeting the airport.
Es war sehr gastfreundlich
great property with wonderful restaurant. they should really have the sauna and spa area open more than a few hours a day. I would have appreciated being able to use that space more for both saunaing and being able to stretch.
I recently stayed at [Hotel sailer ] and had a mixed experience. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of delicious options to start the day. The hotel’s location is convenient, situated close to key attractions and public transport. The staff were friendly and attentive, contributing positively to the stay. However, several aspects were disappointing. The beds were notably small, and the mattresses were too soft for comfort. Additionally, only one pillow was provided, which was also too soft, leading to an uncomfortable night’s sleep. The building itself is quite old, with dated refurbishments and a musty odor throughout. Considering these drawbacks, I found the hotel to offer poor value for money. In summary, while the service, breakfast, and location are commendable, the outdated facilities and lack of comfort in the rooms significantly detract from the overall experience.
Very good location and comfortable rooms. Excellent service, will stay again
Hitel is in a good position. Very close to the city center 5 min walk. Structure clean and elegant. Unfortunately in this period are built a new building just in front of it.
Small room. No kettle. Asked for a kettle. Received kettle but they didn’t give me any cups. Shower was ridiculous and small. Worst hotel of our trip.
Over all the staff were great but the breakfast was lackluster. The location was good but the hotel felt rather dated. No usb ports in the room might seem trivial but it was an old building and felt it. Not terrible but for the price I'd have liked a little more. I would stay again because of the location if the price is good.
Great location . Welcoming bar and high standards restaurant
G
This hotel was super convenient as we were coming from the train station with lots of luggage. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful- they helped us call in an order for dinner from a local restaurant as we arrived very late and the hotel restaurant had closed. They have ski storage in the lobby, which we appreciated. The breakfast was very good and covered all the needs and the hotel restaurant is incredibly beautiful. Our room was clean and comfortable.
The bar service could be better long wait at times and a bit more friendly
Super stay at the Sailer Hotel
Super friendly and sparkling clean hotel with excellent friendly staff. Have stayed several times before and will do so again in the future. Excellent location for Town centre [5 min walk] train and bus station [5 mins] - so very easy to get from airport to hotel via F line bus route. Recommended
Very nice hotel
A fantastic hotel. Staff was great and very professionnal. Clean, close to the train station and restaurants. The Sailer restaurant has a great menu. It was dining at its best. Would love to go back.
Very convenient hotel
A beautifully renovated hotel. The rooms were large. The bed is comfortable. Very near the train station. Walking distance to the Christmas market. The hotel restaurant has excellent wait staff and serves really good food. The front desk personnel are fabulous. They are very courteous and helpful. They will give you directions on how to get to the Christmas market. Overall, a great experience.
Good location
Hotel Sailer is conveniently located between the train station and old town, 5 and 10 minutes respectively. The 20 euro breakfast was very good and a good value.
I really enjoyed my stay! Great staff, excellent breakfast, and easy location to walk places!
The front desk staff was very pleasant. The restaurant was a 2 out of 10 at best. This is coming from restaurant owners of multiple properties. We sat down and were told immediately to order as the kitchen staff is leaving soon. We ordered duck, lamb and roast beef. All three were so overcooked they were inedible. We sent them all back having taken just a bite. The manager did come by however basically just told us he's stands behind his staff. Unfortunately the restaurant made what was a pleasant stay a disappointment
The rooms are not soundproof, and I heart a constant ticking noise coming from outside of my room. Other than the noise problems, my stay was quite pleasant.
One block from train station, many restaurants and old town within walking distance. Staff is friendly and we received a city card since we stayed more than 3 days for discounts and free tram and buses. Only wished they had hot water pot for coffee or tea in the room
Likes: clean room and bathroom; hardwood floor in the room; conveniently located near the central trainstation; walkable to the old town and Inns river; good quality of breakfast; courteous and friendly staffs
We like the property as it was centrally located for us. The restaurant in the hotel was good and the team was very nice and accommodating.
Very nice stay. nice location and restaurant/bar. Only small complaint is that the parking garage was very small and difficult to park a car in.
Good value and location
This hotel aroused me with us high level of service and comfort given its relative price.
Very nice clean hotel, with parking, great location next to old
Pillows were crinkling sound so hard to sleep!
Near train station.
A great boutique hotel
We had a fabulous 4 nights here. The room was modern, large and clean. The mattress was super comfortable and checkin staff lovely. The coffee and drinks are good and well priced in the bar. The location of the hotel is perfect, near the station and not far from the main street. Definitely request a mountain facing room.
The dining restaurant, it’s amazing tasty list and variety of recipes
In general, Hotel Sailer is an excellent hotel. I like it. The room is very clean. It would be better if a ventilation fan was build in the bathroom.
HORRIBLE. No ac or heat, room was 82 degrees and I didn’t sleep all night. Place is bad!
Amazing location especially if traveling by train. Even with luggage it’s an easy walk from the main train station. Great staff.
4 star hotel looks and acts like a 1 star
Very beautiful and cozy. Beside the noise of the major construction across the street I have no complaints.
The view was only a huge construction site from my room
The Hotel Sailer is a gem in the central district of Innsbruck. I'm glad we happened to find it. It's small and well-run. There are several great climbing shops within a short walk and dining opportunities are plentiful. Love the hotel, we'll stay there again!
Room was not at all as advertised. Awful carpet ( or wood as in photo). Shower leaked water everywhere. Front desk was informed and when e returned the lady told us that she ‘cleaned it up’ while we were out. It didn’t not solve the problem of water still leaking and making the whole floor unsafe. We didn’t have enough towels or pillows. It does not look at all as the Expedia photos and is not by any means a 4 star or luxury hotel. Maybe a weak 2.5.
Convenient location.
Nadie limpió nuestro cuarto cuando que estuvimos dos noches en el. Solo cuando reclamé en la recepción nos cambiaron, al menos las toallas. Literalmente las camas estaban deshechas y nadie pasó ni un trapo. Recepcionistas no amables.
What you see in the picture of the room does not correspond to what you get in the room I got, it is not possible to make coffee. was recommended to paid parking when most days the hotel's parking was free
Location of the property is central and convenient. However, the restaurant near the hotel is very loud and can be heard all night. Bring ear plugs.
Close and quality
Quality old hotel with new appointments
The hotel and the restaurant were both very good. The staff were all friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. The old town and the other places that we wanted to visit are all within the walking distance.
Would stay here again
The breakfast is amazing.staff friendly & helpful. Free use of sauna was welcomed. Only thing we were disappointed with were the pillows. They appeared to be small bed quilts rolled & turned/folded in on themselves to resemble some sort of very soft cushion. We asked for replacements which were promptly delivered. One other annoying thing is they only supply squeeze bottles of some sort of body wash in the shower & wash basin. To be fair this seems to be the go with many other hotels, and it wouldn'y prevent staying here again. All in all a great place to stay
Mainly a good stay at this property. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable, good breakfast, staff friendly, helpful and multilingual. Two negative points; the room was supposed to be non-smoking but a definite smell of cigarette smoke most of the time. Also I had to be very careful not to slip over in the shower; no mat provided and no grip whatsoever on the floor.
Excellent Choice
Excellent choice for a single or couple travelers. Within walking distance to train station and old town. There are grocery stores and eateries nearby. Would stay again.
Property was clean in a great location to walk to downtown Innsbruck.
Beautiful room. Very clean and comfortable. Service is great. They have nice breakfast variety and the location is great. Walking distance from all attractions. Definitely recommend
Great location-clean and comfortable. We loved the pillows and the bed
Hotel was within minutes of the main rail station as well as Old Town, shopping and restaurants. The front reception staff was very, very helpful and extremely pleasant and professional. We ate a dinner in the well-appointed, on site restaurant; the food was good as was the service. One negative aspect was that the housekeeping service did not clean our room one day in spite of the proper sign left on the door. This was a disappointment for an otherwise lovely hotel. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.
Good location
Innsbruck Sailor
Very nice, updated accommodations. Beautiful property. A/C worked great for the weary traveler. Bedding was nice and comfortable. Spacious rooms for European standards!
Loved the location which was walkable between the train stop and the old city. The room was quite nice..I actually liked the glass bathroom. It was unique and made the room more spacious .. but also hard to find in the middle of night in dark! Staff was very attentive. My electronic door lock broke and they quickly fixed it. Loved the fact they gave me a transportation pass and also sold tickets to sites at a discount. Only down side was the construction going on across the street. But I would def. Stay here again
Lovely stay
The location of this hotel is excellent, they have upgraded their rooms and they are very clean. Front desk staff was pleasant and professional. Enjoyed a delicious dinner in the dining room the first evening. Breakfast was a good selection, servers were friendly and kept buffet well stocked while also clearing tables. As a solo traveler I recommend this hotel and would stay there again.
Spacious room with good breakfast. Parking available and an easy walk to main attractions
Its near to the hbf and town centre. Also has smart tv!
Great location. Service good. Beds are very hard. Difficult to sleep
Some other gueast from hotel had a key of my room! The guy just entered my room. No one cared at the reception, and literarly tired to normalized this, like its OK.
Friendly staff, comfortable room in a beautiful setting.
Great hotel! Extremely close to the train station! Easy walking distance to the old town! There is currently some construction going on across the street so that detracts slightly from the area!
Great place to stay for train connections, and still within walking distance to popular areas in Innsbruck. Excellent room, good AC, friendly staff.
Good stay
3 nightmstay. Sadly there is a very large building construction across the road, which is obviously not to do with the hotel, but it certainly impacts the view from the window, and being visible to construction workers, which is not ideal. The first room I was given had some plumbing (basin leaking) issues and has an awful damp smell. The second room I was moved to also had also had a damp smell, but was better than the original room. What the hotel itself lacks, the staff certainly make up for. Everyone that I spoke with was extremely helpful and very pleasant.
Great hotel
- Room was clean and comfortable. - location is central to Innsbruck. There are quite a few decent restaurants within 15 minutes walk. - Biggest weak point was the WiFi, which was pretty poor (frequent disconnects and poor signal quality overall).
Family trip
Very nice, welcoming! Breakfast was sufficient
Family trip
Very nice, welcoming!
Very convenient to train station, very friendly staff!
The balcony view was awesome!
Hotel Sailer was the perfect hotel. It was extremely clean, the rooms were modern and bright, and quiet! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and it is located extremely close to Innsbruck HBF, which made travel days easy. The main shopping square was only a 5 minute walk away, and we felt very safe walking back to the hotel late at night. We dined at the hotel restaurant the first night and the food was delicious and the service was exceptional.
We spent two nights at this hotel, which is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from Innsbruck train station. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was quiet, clean, and comfortable, although a bit on the small side. Initially, we noticed a smoky smell when we entered the room, but it dissipated quickly. While the hotel is a bit pricey, we were overall satisfied with our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
Walkable to train station. Close to everything
Great staff
Wonderful!!! Stay here if you love a luxurious hotel near transportation, shopping and sightseeing in Innsbruck. We loved our time here.
I could walk from the airport.
Great parking for 4 motorcycles on tour, very good food and helpful staff - perfect for our tour needs
This is a beautiful hotel. Excellent in every way. Thank you for a great stay!
Excellent location for viewing this wonderful city only a short walk from the station and easy access to public transport.
Nice place near Old Town Innsbruck and train
Nice hotel in convenient location near the train station. We walked everywhere we went with no issues. The bathroom configuration wasn’t ideal (all glass walls)but we managed. Great breakfast. We’d stay here again
Convenient stay near the main train station
Everything was perfect!
Short and sharp, very friendly staff and clean room.
Nice hotel well maintained and very central
Close to the train station walkable to town center Or access to the trolley system. Amazing restaurant
Near main train station; just that right opp there's a construction site - abit noisy.
Overnight stay pre flight back home.
Very nice hotel with very comfortable rooms and a memory foam mattress. Great service, lovely restaurant with very nice food. 15 minutes from airport and located on the Old Town area.
Amazing staff when the room above us flooded and water came into our room they moved all our stuff for us and transferred us to a bigger room for our final night at no extra cost 5/5stars
Stayed a few nights and was overall happy with the hotel and location (close enough to the main train station to walk, and can also walk to all main sites of Innsbruck). Only thing was that the hotel turned off the ability to control the temperature in the room as it was winter, and so was only on 'heating'. Understandable as it was winter, but as someone who is a hot sleeper it made things a little uncomfortable and so opened the window. But this is a small thing as mainly wasn't in the room, and apart from this a nice hotel choice and friendly staff - plus a good breakfast.
Room was recently renovated and the reception area was being renovated. Staff were very attentive and helpful. Location very convenient to main train station and the old city with shops and restaurants was less than a 10 minute walk away. Plus, stay at least two nights and you get the Innsbruck Welcome pass giving you free access to city buses and trolleys.
Great location
Location! Location! Location! The hotel is walking distance to the central station in Innsbruck but far enough to avoid the hustle and bustle of the terminal. So whether you want a trip around town or a day trip to neighboring cities like Munich, and Salzburg, the location of the hotel is terrific. It is also walking distance to Innsbruck's main highlight: Maria-Theresien Street. Employees were welcoming and very knowledgeable about the town so they can provide you tips on how to spend your day in Innsbruck. Breakfast is terrific! You get to eat like a local from Tirol with options of traditional breakfast. The breakfast got me full everyday that i only needed a small snack at lunchtime. So thats a money saver! The structure of the hotel is old fashioned style (i.e. a lot of it was wooden surface and wooden furnitures) so it's easy to hear noises outside and on other rooms. However, they keep it clean and thats more important to me. Would definitely stay here again.
Lovely Hotel Sailer
Excellent stay. I liked everything about Hotel Sailer- the location, the friendly & helpful staff, my room, the Austrian atmosphere/culture, amenities etc.
they turned off the air conditioning saying it isn't used when it is that cool outdoors but in our room the temperature was 80, opening the windows cooled it down but then the street noise with all the drunks was bad

It would have been an excellent stay only someone used a key and walked into my room at 0700hrs in the morning without knocking. I did not see the individual but it extremely suspicious/frightening and nothing was done when reported to reception, sadly this ruined the stay.
