Beautiful historic property right in the center of Karlovy Vary. Very helpful staff. Great value.

Absolutely lovely hotel. Location was perfect, right next to the main shopping area. Attached restaurant was delicious and a decent price. We took the bus up from Prague (about 2 hours) and walked to the hotel (about 15 minutes) all flat and easy to navigate. Fully recommended!!

Very nice hotel

We had one of the best experiences while staying at the Romance hotel! Excellent hospitality! Housekeeping provided exceptional service. The location was great and within the close proximity to various restaurants and shopping options. Highly recommend this place!

Good breakfast included in the room rate. Hotel was in good condition and there were no defects or issues with the room. Temperature control very good. Parking arrangements worked well. Check-in and check-out very efficient. Very helpful reception staff.

An IDEAL location!!! I could walk anywhere and felt like i was in the middle of it all, yet my room was perfectly quiet. The bed was super comfortable, very nice bathroom with a great soaking tub and fantastic view from my window. The breakfast was substantial. We had a wonderful stay!

What a beautiful place to stay! We absolutely LOVED Karlovy Vary and this hotel just made the experience even better! The hotel is located just above the Market Colonnade and the view from our room was amazing! The room was very clean and comfortable with a King size bed and a seating area. We were able to organize our time at the Thermal Spa directly with the hotel (would highly recommend), they offer a couple packages that are very worthwhile. The breakfast was amazing in their lovely dinning room, very good coffee and selection. The staff were all very kind and helpful with transport questions and anything else we needed.

We tried to take shower around 8:00 PM after great and delicious dinner at the same hotel but no hot water. Just warm water. We told front desk and manager came and told us that it is normal. That is how it is. He said we may be sensitive. But later at night and next morning, it was hot as we expected. Their water tank must be not enough. And at night I can hear noise of sex from room above.

We had an amazing stay at Romance hotel, started by the warm welcoming at front desk by Blanka, then with the beautiful room we had. During our stay all staff were very helpful with a lovely smile always, and of course the location is excellent. Highly recommended and would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic Hotel. Location was perfect! Staff was beyond comparison. The breakfast is buffet style but there was so much offered. Enough choices for even the pickiest of palates. The lunch/dinner menu was the best we had seen. Local specialties on the menu. We were very impressed. We can’t say enough about the staff. From the desk clerks to the servers at the restaurant. Location of hotel gives you easy access to all of the city.

The hotel is very nice and comfortable. We liked it a lot!!! The breakfast was also very good! It was a great disappointment for us to discover that, despite offering Spa service, the hotel did not have any tuned facilities to that service. But they offer a discount to access a spa nearby, which we didn't find anything comfortable or practical Anyway, I recommend the hotel to anyone wishing to spend a few days in Karlovy Vary

Absolutely wonderful staff, exceptionally courteous and friendly. You would be hard pushed to find any fault, that is the reason I will continue my visits to Karlovy Vary.

Nice hotel in the middle of all the springs. The room was clean and spacious, breakfast was included in the price. It had everything and was delicious. We had a car and I requested hotel’s help with the parking ahead of time. They reserved us a spot very close to the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This was a very nice hotel, and it had a great free breakfast. I went during the slow season and felt like I got a great deal on a very comfortable stay in this beautifuI city. I highly reccomend it!

Amazing breakfast, comfortable beds but slow Wi-Fi

Amazing breakfast - vast variety of foods (fruits, vegetables, desserts/pastry, fish and meat, pates, delicious bakery products, variations of eggs, etc.), everything very tasty; cozy room with very comfortable beds; very good location just off the Vřídelní kolonáda. On the other hand, the rooms are a little worn out and the restaurant is way too overpriced. Importantly, the Wi-Fi is very slow - it is advertised to be free but in order to get a normal speed, you need to upgrade for surcharge.

The room was big and comfortable. Balcony view was great. Big bad , mattress was not comfortable for me. Clean, quiet , close to center. No treatmens, spa or massage in the hotel. Breakfast was o.k, but, as a vegeterian I had difficulty knowing what is suitable for me, wish they wrote on every dish what its made of. Staff were nice.

Great location and price.

This is a perfectly situated hotel. It is within easy walking distance of many great restaurants - their own is very good - try the goulash! The strong suit is the people- every contact with staff was good . Barbara and Alexander particularly went out of their way to help with local day trip arrangements . When I had difficulty in communicating with my driver Barbara was only a call away and solved everything. I felt as if I were with family. The food is good with plenty of choices and with enough daily variations in the breakfast buffet to keep it interesting . . We were there 7 days so this was enough time to evaluate fully - warts and all. I would definitely go back .

You’ll Enjoy a Few Days Here

A comfortable historic hotel. The rooms are a little dated but large. We were upgraded to a great view over the beautiful town. Ideal location close to town center but on a little side road that gave the hotel just the right amount of quiet privacy. Service was terrific and the restaurant food and included breakfast very good. Overall a highly recommended stay.

Lovely hotel and friendly staff.

Lovely old hotel with the most friendly staff. We arrived by car but had forgotten to reserve a parking place. The very charming young man at reception spoke perfect English and called a car and driver to show us the way to a private garage and then drive us back to hotel with our luggage - thank you for the superb service. The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The bed was huge and amazingly comfortable. The room had a mini bar, the contents of which were very reasonably priced. We also had a kettle and tea/coffee. The breakfast was outstanding with an unbelievable choice of food. The hotel is in the centre of everything but was also quiet.

Lovely hotel located next to Castle Spa

We had a lovely and comfortable one-night stay here. The style of the hotel feels like it's from another era (think Wes Anderson meets Agatha Christie), so it doesn't have the most modern amenities, but if you are looking for quaint historical character, this is the place for you. The rooms are perfectly clean and classy with comfortable beds. The breakfast was amazing--a huge spread with great selection and friendly staff. Perfect for a romantic getaway.

Charming central hotel

Thouroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel, very convenient location.

all was almost ok, until i asked about some spa packages, they recommended Zamecké Láznē which is situated right next to Romance Puskin hotel. I dont recommend that spa center to anyone. the people are very rude, it is not clean, the package is not appealing at all. it was not a pleasant 4 hour package at all. the receptionist gives completely a fake recommendation. it is not worth the money at all.

The best of the best places in the whole world - Karlovy Vary and amazing hotel Romance Pushkin. Excellent, prime location, superb professional stuff, ambiance, nostalgic atmosphere with 19 century flair, spacious, comfortable room, wonderful bed and linen breathtaking vistas - make you feel royal. Delicious breakfast with wide selection of home made dishes, juices and hot beverages, secure parking.

AMAZING HOTEL!

AMAZING!!! worth every penny. The rooms are huge, clean and the beds are great. The reception staff is wonderful and very kind - they helped me with everything I needed (include Spa services, train/bus tickets and even tourist attractions). The Hotel Location is great - in the center of the hotels/spa area (the most interesting area in Karlovy Vary).The Hotel is 4 minutes walk from Mill Colonnade hot springs. The hotel has a great deal on Spa treatments nearby (Castle Spa), which is very clean and nice. The Breakfast is reach and tasty! Seriously, don't even think about another hotel at Karlovy Vary! this is the best place!

Nice hotel in the middle of tourist zone

Very difficult to get to hotel by car. When using GPS, make sure you have updated maps. We needed to leave our car on paid parking, walk to hotel, and get directions how to get there. After that, everything was excellent. we got parking spot. We were offered to upgrade our room to a much better one just for $10/night. Breakfast was excellent. Receptionist helped us to book service in the nearby spa center, just across from the hotel. Stuff allowed us to stay few hours later in our room, for free. Very accommodating people work there.

Nice Hotel in City Center

Enjoyed the convenience of having a hotel directly across from one of the spa centers. Everything in the city of located within a short walk from the hotel. The only negative is for those who are driving. It is nearly impossible to drive to the hotel and parking is non-existent. We hired a taxi and following him to the hotel.

Hotel in the perfect location

Hotel Romance is just next to the 'Kolonada' in Karlovy Vary. Perfect location and the view from the front rooms is great. The rooms have a lot of space, beds are comfortable. Bathrooms could be designed bit better - we had a bathtub with curtain positioned in such a way that there was only a very narrow space left for taking shower.The other thing that surprised me where the ugly doors to the rooms - absolutely not matching the hotel style. It must be a relic of the socialistic times. Breakfasts were absolutely spectacular - great diversity of choices and all very fresh.

Beautiful hotel in great location

The hotel was in a great location and the staff were extremely helpful. At times there was a small language barrier, but overall there was great service. The room was beautiful and quite large, although the bathroom was very small in comparison. The breakfast buffet had a nice range of food and the room service was delicious. The hotel concierge booked two spa treatments for me - including a facial nearby - as well as transport to and from the train station; all of this was done via email and they were very prompt and helpful.

Very comfortable and spacious room in traditional style. Superb location with everything within walking distance. Staff was very friendly and helpful too.

Breakfast quality is not ideal and disappointed, and varieties are little to choose. However, the quality of the Restaurant of the Hotel is good and price is reasonable.

Rooms on the top floors offer a splendid panorama over the resort. Romance Puskin Hotel offers a copious breakfast (included in the price of the room), with a great selection of local and international specialties. The a la carte menu is to be tested also. The staff is friendly and welcoming.

Nice hotel near river

The hotel located near the river whicj is very beautiful. The room is vlean and tidy. Bed is comfortable. Breakfast is fantastic with lots of choice. Good to have a walk nearby with beautiful scenery.

Hidden grandeur

This town is like is hidden jewel. Every direction you look there is more stunning art nouveau architecture. The hotel has older style decor, but is beautiful and clean and comfortable. Breakfast is very well catered.

Fantastic location

Lovely & well maintained older hotel that has everything, very friendly & helpful staff, beautiful breakfast. I booked 5 rooms for all our big family from all over the world taht came for our sons wedding and we all had a great stay. A lovely way to wind down after all the excitement and preparations of wonderful wedding. Picturesque city and spa across the hotel, what more can one asked? Thank you & will definitely come back & stay there again!

Very well located hotel in the middle of town.

We were positively impressed by Karlovy Vary. It is a beautiful town with a lot of history, beautiful surroundings, and relaxing cafes. One of the highlights was a one hour long ride in a horse drawn carriage, which took us around town, and from which we learned that it is much larger than originally thought. There was much activity everywhere as the city was preparing for its 51st International Film Festival, which was taking place July 1-9. I visited Karlovy Vary with my sons, and had a splendid time. One recommended activity is to have a coffee made with spring water from the springs in town. A good place is across the street from the hotel, at the Cafe Respiron, or alternatively, in the courtyard in front of the Grand Hotel Pupp, where you will also find some nice ice cream concoctions.

Best breakfast

The receptionist has excellent customer service and very helpful when l asked for directions on how to go to Karlov Vary Bus Terminal by the local city bus. The location of the hotel is great for shopping on luxury goods if anyone fancy. And also great for a nice stroll to the city centre on foot within 30 min if anyone fancy. Also easy to get back to the hotel by the local city bus at the last stop.

Hotel is close to everything in town

Stayed at hotel for 3 days.... Very comfortable, great helpful staff and close to everything...was not that impressed with the spa in front of the hotel but perhaps it was the weekend package that Zi chose that was not good... Beer spa is right around the corner and so are many of the recommended restaurants. All in all a great place to stay!

Incredible stay! Sweet beautiful room with a great view, wonderful comfy bed and pillows, helpful staff, AMAZING breakfast, perfect location. We loved staying here! Perfect honeymoon spot. Beautiful spa just across the street, one of the thermals across the street and a few springs right outside, really just a perfect spot. Highly recommended!!

Wonderful spa town

The hotel is very centrally located right across from the Castle Spa which is the nicest one in Karlovy Vary. We had a wonderful room looking out to the Castle Spa and the Columnade area where you can drink the mineral spring water. Staff was also very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast too!

Quiet, Comfortable, Great Location

Very courteous and welcoming staff. Large, comfortable, and QUIET room which was quite nice for our neighbors, too, I am sure, as we were traveling with a jet-lagged infant. Breakfast was delicious - more choices than I have seen anywhere! Excellent location in center of tourist district.

Ahhh Karlovy Vary

We loved the Hotel Romance Puskin. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was great. We had a sweet little balcony to extend our view into the outside area. We also enjoyed our massages there in the hotel.

OLD Karloff Vary

This hotel located right in the middle of town, great location. The parking is a bit tricky since hotel situated on steep narrow street and GPS takes you to it via "wrong way" via "..for special vehicles.." sign.Local police were considered and let me pass. The parking is in walking distance from hotel, but they let you to unload first before to park the car. Overall the service is excellent, but the room interior reminded well preserved 70-s (unless it is intentionally furnished). The bathrooms are circa 70-s with tub and shower in it. It sure reminded me old East German hotels of that period. If you can overlook all of that - you will enjoy your stay and the restaurant on premises. This is old town with old preserved buildings, so I assume most of them are similar. Still will recommend!

Family vacation

We enjoyed our stay very much. Hotel staff were courteous and helpful. We had a very nice dinner in the restaurant.

Too short of a stay for Karlovy Vary

We needed to make a stop on the way from Paris to a wedding in the Czech Republic, so I found this inexpensive hotel in the heart of Karlovy Vary. Traffic delayed our arrival until after 9 pm, so we did not have much time to see the city. The parking was a little confusing. We did not know until we got there that we needed to park in the street in front of the hotel to register move into our room. Then we were directed to where we could park our car in a street space reserved for the hotel. That cost extra but not too much.

A comfortable, clean and well appointed hotel with friendly staff. BOOK CAR PARKING. The town is a must see.

Great hotel in Karlovy Vary!

Went to Karlovy Vary for a quick getaway from Prague. Hotel Romance Pushkin was lovely, service was great, breakfast was excellent, location right off of the pedestrian walking area was perfect!

What a lovely hotel! Very centrally located, convenient to everything. Very helpful staff who speak many languages. Nicely decorated with everything one needs without being fussy. The breakfasts are phenomenal and the restaurant for dinner was elegant and delicious, the best food I had in Czech Republic. Highly recommend!

Right in the center of everything.

The hotel Pushkin is right in the center of everything. The bus is nearby to take you out to the Moser glass factory. Room and bed were comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and a lot of variety. Right next to the main Colonade. I would stay here again. We loved Karlov Vary, such a quaint town and I hope to get back there. As you walk into the room, you feel like your in a hostel, but the bed was comfy and it was quiet. We were there in off season.

Charming hotel in great location

Karlovy Vary is all about old style, class and charm and this hotel definitely brought all of that in the outside of the hotel, the rooms, and the restaurant. Very helpful staff who directed us to numerous activities to do in Karlovy Vary and would also book some activities for us. The breakfast was simply amazing. So much delicious food, western and typical Czech, with great service. The room had high ceilings and had classy decorations. The bed was super comfortable and with thick drapes to block out the light, you will have a superb sleep after a day of exploring. The location is right behind the wooden Colonade and the biggest spring fountain. Perfect location and a gorgeous view. There was some parking from the hotel, which was nice as parking in this area is hard to come by. Overall, this hotel is beautiful and comfortable!
