Great place to stay.

Better options for a little more money.

Let's start with check in. They flexed as we arrived early. Thank you. Hotel is a bit dated, but bed was comfortable.2nd night ac stopped working. They offered fan. Eventually they were able.to get us a room with newer AC after we refused fan. No elevator, so first day lugged luggage up three flights of stairs. Request room end floor. Avoid all rooms that face cathedral, as the bells drove us nuts first two days. No sound proofing on 2nd and third floor rooms..street noice was also loud. Avoid rooms 300, through 304thqt includes 2nd floor. We're were transferred to 1st floor facing dinning hall. Bad idea. You'll hear and see everyone, as rooms don't have curtains, just light shading cloth. So 2nd floor facing interior is best options. Parking was horrific. They don't tell you they have it. Three spots in front and 6 spots down back alley way. We had to keep asking till they allowed us to park back there. Do not park on street unless you pay at booth meters. The fine is 50 pesos and a 10 minute drive to police station to get your.front plate. Do not pay for breakfast, was not pleasant. There are several breakfast spots in town center with better food. They did turn room every night, and did leave one bottled water, two would have been nice. Overall not bad for price. Service could be better, as we caught front desk asleep at 4am on couch and you g lady at desk was always talking to her boyfriend who always visited her. Short Latino male with buzz cut was not friendly.

It was smack in the middle of the City. The problem it is old the AC did not work and it needs a major remodeling as the beds are old. If they would remodel it would be a great Hotel there is also verry limitted parking.

Great Hotel

It was a great hotel, so close to the main attractions of the city. Nice rooms and clean. The only thing is that the bathroom is a little bit tiny.

El hotel esta muy bien ubicado en el centro de la ciudad. Esta limpio y bien atendido. Sin embargo las habitaciones no estan aisadas de ruido y se escucha todo.

No AC during summer is a big difference on different rooms

Nice hotel and pleasant people! Breakfast was quite simple but cooked with heart. I liked everything.

Not a bad hotel if you must stay the night in Tula

Check in was really easy and parking was available directly in front of the hotel, but the windows in the room didn't close properly and the only solution offered was a mosquito repellant which was placed in our room: only problem? We had nothing to light the incense coil with! The lobby and dining area was pretty, but the rooms were rather run down. The nearby ruins are worth 1/2 day visit, but not really worth staying the night in Tula. It was rather unattractive and run down. The worst though was the reception staff who could not make a recommendation (regardless of the topic) that was understandable and they looked at us as if we were from Mars for asking! Really odd.

Inattentive and noisy

The reception staff test us standing at the desk with no one to attend us for five minutes. There was so much noise at night because of the Day of the Dead celebration and neighbors who wanted to talk in the area in front of our room. The building and location could be charming but not equipped to block noise if you want rest.

Not the best. Room was super small and stuffy. Clean enough, but the bed was super uncomfortable. Pretty noisy as room looks over an indoor courtyard dining area.

1 night stop in Tulla

we stopped 1 night in this hotel in Tulla. This hotel is very correct for the price. You can't expect a lot more. One night is enough...

Limited options in Tula but it was decent choice

I was given the wrong size room. The regular size rooms are very small, but for this price it's good. Similar to New York City sizes. However, the deluxe room offers a decent amount of space. The hotel staff was very friendly and responsive to me being in the wrong room. I did notice hair under the sheets which shows that the beds were not cleaned. I arrived later for breakfast, but they were nice and made me a special meal. Very nice staff. Room's good use some help. Located in the Centro of Tula. There are several places to eat, within walking distance. Tula had a very clean Zocalo area of the Centro. Hotel just a few minutes ride from the Tula ruins.

Overnight in Tula

Hotel Real Catedral is a pleasant and convenient place to stay in Tula where accommodation is fairly limited. It is in a central location and easy to find. Rooms and public areas are spotlessly clean. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Free wireless internet is reliable. The breakfast included in the room price was simple but adequate. If I go back to Tula, I would stay there again.

Only thing good is the location!

Staff had no idea of what to do with the Expedia proof I had paid and insisted on charging me again! I speak spanish and so it was not a language issue! DO NOT PAY IN ADVANCE IF YOU BOOK THIS HOTEL! TWO OTHER GUEST HAD THE SAME ISSUE. Also I needed a room with two beds and was given a room very small with very low ceilings and thank God it was only for a couple of nights. There are other hotels to choose from so try to select another or don't pay in advance.

Very nice experience, got in too early and they did their best to accomodate me and check me in asap. Good food. Great location.

The room is pretty nice but it's so hot (no air-con).... We came there in December, and I can't imagine how it would be like in summer lol

Quaint and comfortable

Modern and up to date and very quaint typical Mexican. Room was tiny but very well thought out and nicely appointed. We had two double beds for the three of us. Tula is a very small town and this is right in the middle. They have good parking. My only negative is that their breakfast is expensive. The pyramids in town are worth seeing.

The pictures of this hotel were from when it opened 30 yrs ago and so are the amenities look the same.

A room with no window!!!

I selected this hotel because in the pictures large windows were present. I was quite disapointed when I got to my room and found out it had no window and also no air conditioning. I felt very uncomfortable. Lighting was not available on the nightstand so it was either fluorescent lighting or nothing. I will not return there next time I visit Tula and if you do, make sure you ask for a "room with a view".

Tiny room, no air and indifferent staff

Our room was incredibly small, even though it was meant for 4 people. Besides this, the bedding had stains, the sink had mold, and the TV had horrible reception. I asked for a different room, because the tiny room seemed dirty and had no window and more importantly, because the air conditioner didn't work. The front desk told me they were booked and couldn't give me another room (the parking lot and number of people we saw in the hotel suggested this was definitely not true). He added that this was the specific room that Expedia had reserved for us. But he said he would send someone up to fix the air. He never did, and we spent the night in a hot room. We complained the next day, but he was indifferent at best. He did not have an excuse or an apology, and told us we could complain to Expedia.

Stuffy but comfortable

Honestly, I only have one complaint: no fresh air nor air conditioning. The place is cute in this little town and you can walk to just about everything. The room was plain and simple, clean and cozy. But with only a ceiling fan it felt warm and stuffy.

Yo diría que mi estancia en el hotel fue buena. El personal fue amable e inclusive me ofrecieron darme la habitación hora y media antes de lo normal. Sin embargo, me incomodó que las habitaciones fueran tan pequeñas.

No facturan si pagas por la aplicación, cuando en el check in es un contrato de prestación de hospedaje entre tú huesped y el hotel. Le dejan la responsabilidad a Expedia, cuando solo es un intermediario de reserva y pago. Que el SAT sea quien determine que es lo que aplica.

Basico para pasar la noche.

El hotel es muy básico, son habitaciones muy pequeñas (habitación 108), también su estacionamiento, por lo que, si llevas vehiculo se quedaría en la calle. El desayuno que ofrece, también es básico (huevos con jamón, frijoles, pan blanco de caja para que tu te lo tostes, cafe americano, fruta y agua para té), lamentablemente en los frijoles me tocaron varias piedras, el personal es amable y atento a las necesidades. Esta muy limpio, cuentan con agua las 24 horas del día (no desperdicien el agua). Sí, solo vas de paso, este hotel es recomendable, es sencillo, esta en el centro de Tula Hidalgo, cumple con su función. Los precios también son accesibles.

Buena opción para pasar la noche. Es pequeño, pero en general está limpio. ¡El personal sumamente amable!

Las fotografías que ponen son muy engañosas, las recamaras son mini, la ropa de cama ya muy vieja se ve transparente y sucia. El baño olía muy mal La habitación que nos dieron fue a lado de un baño comunitario. Termine por no quedarme aun y cuando ya había pagado 1900 por dos habitaciones

Hotel frente a la Catedral.

El personal que labora allí es sumamente amable, Mi auto fue estacionado en la calle pero directamente en la entrada del hotel, la habitación grande pero el baño un poco reducido, funciono bien para nuestro propósito de llegar solo a dormir y retirarnos después del desayuno, agua caliente, TV y Aire acondicionado todo funciono bien. La habitación no tiene ninguna vista a ningún lado.

No me respetaron la reservacion que tenia en hoteles.com me comentaron que ya no habia mas que 1 habitacion disponible y tenia reservada 2. Me mandaron al hotel best western tula.

En General Mi estancia Hasta el Dia de Hoy fue Satisfactoria y Buena, Definitivo Si Regresaría Encantado a Hospedarme Aqui De ahi Deriva Mi pregunta, En un Principio Realicé Mi Reserva, por 6 Dias La cual La Cumpli en Tiempo Y forma, por motivos De Trabajo se Alargo Es DEcir Hasta el dia De hoy Sigo Hospeddo en el mismo lugar, es decir 15 dias ya. ¿ Agradezco las Ofertas, Descuentos, et, etc, que ,e notifican, Al querer Aplicarlas me indican que no hay disponibilidad, para aplicarlas en su portal, Checo con La Gerencia del Hotel, y Medicen que por supuesto si hay Disponibilidad que se desconoce porque me arroje esa respuesta su portal, Obvio por Operativida yo segui pagando pero ya aqui en el Hotel, es decir 15 dias y pretendo quedarme otros 4 dias No aplican ?? Algun Problemas Um procedimiento Mal..!!! En verdad Agradezco me Comenten para poder dar Un Comentario De verdad, Lo mas Preciso a lo que ofrecen, Ustedes, y El hotel... Quedo atento sds

El único pero es el estacionamiento, tuvimos que dejarlo afuera porque si lo dejábamos dentro del estacionamiento la puerta no cerraba, además nos dijeron que estaba a disponibilidad y eso no dicen

Buena atención aunque el hotel ya se ve viejo

Un hotel pequeño pero muy bonito, el personal es muy amable, aunque agradecería un poco más de información en general al momento de ingresar, ya que la hora de entrega de habitación es un poco diferente a la que marca la página entre otros detalles. Fuera de eso, excelente servicio e instalaciones.
