Bad view &
It’s close to Termini. It’s in a good location. It’s older with character but needs updating.
No sound proof and no air conditioner
Traditional hotel Breakfast average staff lovely Room clean
Great hotel!
Love the hotel. Staff was great and so was service. No a/c and fairly loud due to city noise but great location.
Charming historical hotel
A charming historical hotel, great breakfast in a central location. Needs some TLC
Check in staff was very nice and helpful. Made you feel comfortable.
This hotel was excellent. Staff very helpful and an absolute great location ! We will be back!
Great location and walking distance to all the landmarks
The hotel is very well located close to historic landmarks. It’s an Art & Deco style and very unique. Very good service and friendly staff.
Hotel Quirinale is conveniently located. We would stay here again.
the noise went through the walls, hard to sleep.
Location.
They were wonderful enjoyed staying there so much would stay in the future when I get to get to Rome was just great !
Very old building without insulated walls. We could hear the next door snoring...
Friendly staff. Breakfast with many choices. Close to many attractions
Their breakfast was phenomenal.
It was close to shopping and transportation. They also arranged transportation for us to airport. Staff was very friendly and their breakfast is so great. We loved this hotel and will be back.
Great location, Large rooms.
Overall good. Relatively close to a metro station and the train station.
Very good location.
Excellent location and staff amazing
Fantastic Hotel in Rome
Absolutely beautiful hotel in a great location! Staff is amazing at all levels. Will definitely stay there again! Wish I could give them 10 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Bathroom products very average Entrance bit faded and breakfast average
I rarely write reviews, but my experience at Hotel Quirinale was so upsetting, I felt the need to warn others. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with cold indifference by the front desk staff. There was no greeting, no warmth – nothing. It was clear I was being treated differently because I’m Asian. Their tone was dismissive and borderline hostile, it was blatant and deeply uncomfortable. The porter was no better. As I struggled to move my luggage out to my transport, they stood around at the entrance smoking and laughing, not even offering a hand or a simple gesture of help. They watched me struggle without lifting a finger. It was downright unprofessional. Inside the hotel, the experience didn’t improve. The entire building feels old and worn down – far from the “classic charm” they advertise. The decor is outdated, the furnishings are tired, and the whole place is in desperate need of a serious upgrade. To make matters worse, there is zero soundproofing. You can hear everything – conversations from the rooms above and below, people walking in the halls at all hours, and doors slamming shut like gunshots. It’s impossible to get any rest, and it makes you feel constantly on edge. This was hands-down one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Between the discriminatory attitude, the lack of basic service, the shabby facilities, and the constant noise, I would strongly advise anyone considering.
Hotel Quirinale is excellently located to almost all the must see sights. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was lovely with a large modern bathroom.
Staff friendly and helpful. Great location. Interesting building.
Location was great and property was clean and convenient. The room over looking the street are quite load at night. Staff was friendly.
Great location. Friendly staff. Not far to attractions and restaurants everywhere.
We always like the old-fashioned flavor of a hotel.
We had a really nice stay. Staff was great, facilities were quite nice - not a new building or renovated but classic facade was kept up. Breakfast was good, better than expected. Location is really good, just about 10 min walk from Termini and 5 min to the metro. Its safe but plenty of good options around for eating. The one semi complaint was the noise. Street noise can go on till midnight-ish and we had a noisy neighbor for a few nights but it didnt go on too long. Id definitely recommend and stay there again given the opprotunity.
Beautiful property close to train station and metros. Great breakfasts. Very quiet for being on such a lively street. Ambience is definitely old world. Would stay here again.
Wonderful stay in rome. Very easy to walk to largest train station or other metro lines, bus stop right in front of hotel, but area was right in the heart of Rome and it's main sites.
Excellent stay at this beautiful and interesting hotel. Staff were welcoming and extremely helpful. Breakfast could be had in a lovely space - just a shame it was not warm enough to sit outside! - and we explored the bar and its drinks. The hotel had a relaxing atmosphere. The hotel is within 15mins walkign distance of many of the major sites - Colosseum, Forum, Trevi Fountain - and there was great shopping and dining options nearby. For getting to/from airport, Termini station was 7min walk away, and local bus and Metro stations were a couple of minutes away too. One of the best stays in Rome. I am planning on coming back with my husband!
Great Location+Great Breakfast+Great Room!
Been to Roma two dozen times and normally don't stay at a 4 star. Worth the extra money! Huge room. Amazing bathroom. Fantastic breakfast. And a great place to smoke my pipe after breakfast in the garden courtyard. I've stayed in that area before - most convenient. Staff was pleasant and rooms were well cleaned everyday. (My only complaint is the ubiquitous European hard pillows and mattresses.)
Great location. Super close to the metro and main train station plus also walkable distance to many of Rome’s major attractions. The staff was super friendly and helpful ! Very good room service. The room was clean and nice. I would recommend to everyone.
Overall, very nice great location, very convenient walkable distance to shopping and dining. Lots of sightseeing close to the Colosseum. Only negative thing would be construction noise.
Very friendly and professional
Convenient, Clean, and Excellent Service!
My husband and I stayed for 6 nights at Hotel Quirinale and we absolutely loved it! We were on our honeymoon and warmly received with a complimentary bottle of wine. We really enjoyed the free hotel breakfast! It was one of the highlights of our stay! It offers a lot of variety and satisfied us well to take on our days in Rome! We also enjoyed the onsite restaurant the very first night we arrived since we were very tired from traveling. The bedroom service was timely each day, everything was very clean, and we had no issue with the safety of our personal items. It was also very conveniently located so my husband and I often took off walking to our destination from the hotel. They even assisted in arranging us a taxi to the airport when we left, which relieved us of one more aspect to plan. Overall, our stay was great and my husband and I agreed we would return to stay here the next time we visit Rome!
I loved the hotel! Very beautiful and great location!
Location is great. Very nice stay for the price. Free breakfast was a nice extra to get. Will likely stay here again.
Beautiful hotel, in great location
Very good choice, convenient location
Convenient location, walk to Termini station and A & B Metros. Staff very helpful, especially front Desk Staff, Hotel Porters, and staff running the breakfast. The breakfast was outstanding every morning, very large variety of selections. Hard to see what anyone would find lacking. We enjoyed our stay.
Great location, 15 minute walk to Roma Termini train station and about 25 minute walk to the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain.
Was close to the attraction, easy to get Roma places
Outstanding hotel and great value. The room was spacious and bedding very comfortable. Shower and bathroom excellent. Bkft was amazing and included in room price. Highly recommend this hotel for all Americans visiting Rome.
Very h
We found bed bugs in our bed and also we were told there was air conditioning. There absolutely was not. They brought in a fan and that was it. We would have never stayed here if the description was truthful of this property.
Historical, but run down hotel. Old chipping paint. There are no drawers or shelves in the room. The room was big but no space to put clothes. Blankets are thin.
Convenient location, plenty of choices for buffet breakfast. Staffs are friendly. Rooms are antique but roomy, clean and comfortable.
Easy access to all the shops
This hotel is just old and dirty. The Receptionists are cold and unfriendly even if I mentioned that this must be the third time I’m staying at this hotel. It didn’t used to be rundown but now it’s just so unkept. The breakfast was bad too that we tried it once and never had breakfast again. Never staying at this hotel again.
Very nice
Had everything we wanted
Me and my husband LOVED our stay in this hotel. We got the room with a patio and it was so nice and big. TV was huge and the bed as well. You can go walking to all the tourist attractions. The bellboy was so nice and helpful. I didn’t get his name but he was tall skinny and white. He was on top of everything and he remembered us. He was so busy but still took the time to help us. Will be back to this hotel when we come back to Rome.
Staff were very efficient and friendly. Check in easy. Restaurant good and reasonably priced.
Close to everything! Amazing affordable shops and restaurants everywhere. Waking distance to a beautiful Catholic basilica. One block to the subway which takes you to the Vatican in 20 minutes for 2 euros or less. A few stops to the Coliseum. Very close to the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish steps. Nice breakfast. Very pretty and charming ambience. People at the desk are very friendly and helpful. I would go back definitely.
Excellent location and is in the heart of the city. Most attractions are within 20 to 30 mins walking distance.
Check in was 2:30, no room available, they said they were busy, not my problem. We finally got a room at 4:00 but when we went in it was not what we booked. When I went and questioned the room category they said that’s all they had available and if I wanted what I booked I would have to wait. Why didn’t they tell me that the room they gave me was a downgrade from what I ordered. I asked the question and the response was it was because I needed a room quickly. I was told my room would be ready in 30 minutes, after much pushing and attitude from the front desk we finally got the room we booked at 6:00 pm, 3-1/2 hours after getting there. Disgusting service.
Excellent service and food in the hotel restaurant and breakfast filled us up too! Will definitely rebook when visiting again
Amazing
We enjoyed the stay! Air conditioning was a put off. I doubt if it was working as there was no air coming out from the AC. Otherwise the property was amazing especially the breakfast and it’s very close to the train station.
VERY GOOD
Very good stay with you
It was all around very good. They had everything that they said they would and it was all to a pretty good standard too. Room was very nice and clean. Staff were very helpful whenever we needed any assistance. The area around the hotel was lovely too, perfect for anyone looking to see Rome for the first time.
I have been to Rome 3 times and stayed here every time . It is so convenient to the train station and walking to sites .
The hotel was very easy and within walking distance of the train station and the main attractions we wanted to see.
This is a fantastic hotel, beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, the best breakfast buffet we’ve ever seen, and the staff were really great. There is an issue with noise from very thin walls but it just depends how noisy people are each night - the rest outweighs this inconvenience.
The air conditioning was not working. I was sweating profusely every night. Called the front desk to fix it and they said that the air only blows heat. Unbelievable!
The location is great as it’s walking distance to everything, however the rooms are terrible. The lobby is beautiful but everything is super outdated. We booked a Junior suite and the bed is super uncomfortable. It’s not even a king bed, it’s two twin mattresses combined together so the beds slide apart and there’s a huge crack in between them. The rooms are super hot. It says AC but each night we “passed out” from heat exhaustion and woke up in a puddle of sweat. The breakfast at the hotel was the worst throughout our entire stay in Italy. Just bland. For the price you’re paying, you can find a better hotel.
Reception team were amazing, very knowledgeable especially the man with the long hair. Couldn’t do enough to help us with directions and helpful advice.
Great location
Unlike many alternatives, this stylish hotel has a distinctive, original Roman character and great charm throughout. Spacious, spotless rooms have high ceilings, chandeliers, panelled walls and parquet wood floors. The staff are warm and friendly, and nothing too much trouble. Equidistant between the train station and the Colosseum with easy walking and transport connections.
Great stay with free breakfast! Friendly staff and we would return.
Lovely hotel, close to Metro, very comfortable stay.
Loved it very nice staff was wonderful I would definitely stay there again
Great hotel, great price and staff service is excellent
nice
everything a bit old but their staffs are all nice and friendly , 👍
Great stay - recommended
Absolutely perfect stay - check-in was great, room large and well appointed, beds comfortable, breakfast decent and varied (side note - how is coffee out of a machine in Italy SO much better than fresh coffee in the UK...). Hotel is in a great location for easy walking, acess to the metro and taxis. We had a great stay and highly recommend.
Lovely atmosphere; beautiful public spaces and excellent breakfast. So ideally located with its proximity to Termini
We enjoyed staying here. The staff was always helpful and kind. The room was clean and comfortable. The only downside were the room doors. You could hear people slamming them and trying to get them to latch. Not something a person can sleep through. Everything else was wonderful.
Charming hotel with comfortable bed and everything I needed. I’m coming back and staying again .
We checked in at 11:00 and were advised our room would be ready at 2:30. We paid d for a double superior; we were finally offered a room at 15:30. This was not a double superior. We were given another room, double but not a superior. Staff were very rude when I explained. Dirty paintwork and very shabby. My husband came out in hives/bites every time he showered. On our last day we realised that we had a red ant infestation. They were in the shower tray and in the towels. They were also in the bed! I advised reception who just shrugged. Awful hotel would not recommend.
Great location and nice clean hotel
Nice, clean hotel. Great buffet breakfast. Excellent location close to major attractions.
Hotel needs a complete makeover.
Very convenient location as 10 min walk to Roma Termini and close access to many beautiful places e.g.Colosseum ,Pantheon ,Roman Forum and more
Well located hotel within a beautiful historic building. Rooms are simple but comfortable enough.
We have stayed many times in this old beautiful hotel. The rooms are amazing and so are the staff.
Elegant old world hotel, with good restaurant (especially summer garden courtyard), and superb breakfast. Near station, next to A-line metro (Reppublica) and Opera house. 5 minute walk to Santa Maria Maggiore and several important churches.
Reception staff inefficient.
Great hotel with friendly staff, great rooms, breakfast and location.
We really enjoyed our stay! Friendly staff, great rooms, breakfast and location. I highly recommend this hotel.
Convenient location and clean room.
The hotel is beautiful and comfortable. The proximity to the train station and many sights was excellent. However, the street noise was very loud, making sleep difficult. Also, the quality of food in the restaurant was terrible.
This property need to be upgraded on every ends.
A lovely hotel in a convenient location with just an 8 minute walk to the train station. It’s just about 15-20 mins on foot to Trevi fountain, the Colloseum and the Pantheon. It’s also an hour’s walk from Vatican City and I chose to walk so I could take in all the sites. The hotel was a bit dated, but comfortable and the breakfast was just lovely with lots of options. The only reason I gave the hotel an average rating was because there were ants in my room. I noticed an ant trail in the bathroom on the first morning but didn’t think too much of it, as I couldn’t find where the trail lead to. On departure day however, I found my personal food items that had been in sealed ziplock bags inside my zipped up luggage had been infested with ants. These buildings are quite old and so I just informed the front desk to give that room a thorough cleaning. But apart from that, it was a great stay and I may just stay again sans my health snacks!
Exelent place
It’s not what i expected being a 4 star hotel. The room was small and the ambience is kind of depressing. The mattress was so uncomfortable that my back hurts waking up in the morning. The only person who greeted me to say “good morning” was a cleaning lady. Not a single person in the concierge greeted me. They just looked at you as if i am being gauged. Overall, I’ll give it a 3 stars just because the location was convenient.
