Nice hotel for summer, very coled in winter

Nice location, clean Recommended in the summer, but I was there in the winter and it was very cold in the room.

Great stay in Varna

We enjoyed our weekend stay at Hotel Panorama. The location is great for the beach, and within walking distance of most of the sights. The room was large and clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was great. Would recommend!

Terrible

There was no parking. They charged me money and suggested that I use paid parking at the part a cross the street. AC was not working in the room at all.

Friendly efficient staff prepared to go above and beyond to accommodate guests

I had a room with a full view of the Black Sea, it was lovely. The boardwalk in front of the hotel will lead to many restaurants, the zoo, and a few museums. Though my stay was in mid-May, several of the beach restaurants were already opening. The staff was exceptionally nice and the morning breakfast was convenient and tasty. If I find myself back in Varna I will be staying at the Hotel Panorma.

The hotel in general is good, with nice location and a view of the sea. Unfortunately I didn’t get a room with a view but the hotel was full so I guess its okay. The stuff is really nice and friendly

Lovely hotel/perfect location for beach/city visit

located 10mins walk from bus and train station, this is a very nice, well decorated hotel just across the street from the Beach/Sea Garden.. the main park in Varna where EVERYONE converge at all times of day and night.. with lots to do and see for all ages.. its like an open air history and leisure museum! Hotel is fresh and spotless with all covid restriction guidelines followed. Reception staff were friendly and professional. Breakfast was good (no buffet so pre ordered) with no shortage of coffee/juice and very friendly waiting staff. Room was perfect for single traveller with good comfy bed, tv with extensive selection of channels in all languages, good bathroom etc.

This Hotel is across the street from the South Beach and steps away from the Black Sea waters and two olympic hot mineral water swimming pools.

I stayed a week as a solo traveller March 2020. I picked this hotel, as close to Primorski pool complex, and I am a keen swimmer. The hotel was better than expected. Views from rooms on the front of the beach and sea are great. The maids are friendly and efficient. The reception/porter staff all helpful and keen to see you enjoy your stay. The breakfast was a good hot breakfast selection always stocked well. They arranged a transfer for 10 Euros from the airport and someone was waiting for me when my flight landed, very easy. (You pay the hotel as part of the bill, not the driver) I booked a single room, which tend to be at the back of the hotel, but on Day 2 upgraded to a seafront room, once I saw how wonderful the views were. It was well worth the upgrade and I was keen to support the hotel too, in a time where bookings are likely to drop due to the CV fearmongering around the world. For some people, the traffic noise at the front might be offputting. I found it quietened down a lot from around 8pm to 7am, and often sat with my window open watching the view and listening to the waves break on the beach a little way away. You do have to be inventive in the area, if you dont know any Bulgarian, as many people dont speak much English. The hotel was always a great place to come back too, as the receptionists spoke some English and always tried to help. I hardly ever give top marks, but I have to this hotel, as it deserves it! Would stay again if I re-visit Varna.

Fabulous stay

Nice hotel with a great view over public swimming pools and beach. Room was large and well laid out. Beachfront restaurants just a short stroll. Very clean. Everything worked. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was OK but not inspiring.

We got there on a friday afternoon. Did not have any help comming in on 6 steep steps. A very useless receptionist was there for the weekend all by herself. The hotel did mislead us on the advertisement. Would not recomend it.

Hotel Panorama Varna

This hotel has a wonderful location on the coast and near the train station. It is about a 15 minute walk to the Cathedral and Archaeological museum which is a must. It is 2 minutes from the naval museum where most of the exhibits are outside for any passersby to check out from the fence, Amazing to see a plane, boat and sub just sitting there with artillery pieces, bombs etc.The reception desk people, especially Maya, could not do enough to help you with maps, taxis and ideas for places to visit and eat at. The rooms were fantastic, large and clean. Breakfast was anything you wanted.

The room was large, very clean, great location, quiet, very useful and kind staff. Breakfast plentiful , fresh food, tasty, very good coffee. Hotel is within walking distance of beautiful park, shopping area, sea shore and good restaurants. Perfect in every way.

I did not like : - the prize who was much to high for such a hotel - the fact that the foto wih the pool was misleading, becaus it is no pool from the hotel - in the bathroom there was no electric contact to shave - the breakfast was ready very very poor Positive - location - frendly staff - clean room

Varna business trip

The hotel is in a nice location, both close to the town with lots of nice restaurants and also the sea gardens which have a great selection of restaurants, the hotel is comfortable enough with pleasant staff and I would certainly use again for future business trips.

Get a room with a view of the sea!! The property is a short walk from the train.. and not long of a walk to the gardens and town center.

Superb!

I've stayed at the Panorama many times and continue to return, that alone tells you something. Great views over the Black Sea and the thermal swimming pool with great views of the port. Everyone very friendly and helpful, good breakfast every morning. Only a short walk to the port and a good selection of restaurants. Directly opposite the excellent BM Restaurant. Also opposite an excellent sandy beach. If I had one very small observation it would be that the hotel needs to update it's wifi system, it is very slow. Apart from that, excellent.

The price of garage is too high. No espresso at the breakfast.

Hotel ok, although its located near the beach the area is very depressing. Looks like London in 1945 ....

Nice hotel close to beach and bus station. Close to shopping streets 10 minutes by walk or by bus just cost BUR 1. 15 minutes bus schedule is very convenience. Hotel facility is prefer and breakfast is awesome.

Great location

The Panorama hotel is a nice place to stay. Car park underneath hotel for a charge of about $9 a day. The swimming pool in the picture is misleading. That does not belong to the hotel but it's a public pool across the street from the hotel. Beach is also across the street only a few minutes walk. The hotel is in a nice area where you can walk to numerous restaurants and pedestrian walking mall with even more restaurants. Your room does look out over the Black Sea.

Hotel is good. Service should be improved.

The hotel is old fashioned but well maintained. What is sad is that day receptionists never smile, we stayed 3 days/2 nights. Bar: I will distegard the fact that in order to make a banana shake tbe barman had to actually open a book, but to serve WARM milkshake???? Towels weren't changed during the stay. The location is good, close to the beach and harbor restaurants.

Nice location, but room was not what we booked

We booked a double bed with a sea view, but the room only had 2 single beds, we were told there were no free sea views with double beds, so were forced to accept a room without a view, which was very disappointing.

Average experience in a good location

The room didn't have a balcony as the information stated. Overall a good experience, although some missing items in the room when we arrived, one pair of slippers and one water. The A/C didn't work very well also. The location is really nice however, and the staff is friendly.

It was clean and the good value for the money.

Weekend away in Varna

We've spent the end of August bank holiday in Varna, on the beach. Panorama hotel was just opposite side of the beach, crossing the street. We have had a hotel facing the sea where we've enjoyed the sunrise after many years. The hotel room was large, the bed very comfortable, the bathroom was ok with the bath tube silicon around a bit tired. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices to accommodate all tastes, but the taste of vegetables (especially tomatoes) and fruits (melon and water melon) was amazing. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. It is not a 5 start type of service, but a very warm welcome. May be something to consider is the TV channels available. Far too many Bulgarian doubled channels that for foreign people are not very easy and friendly. Primorski park and all restaurants on the beach are near by. A walk in the park every evening it was a good way of ending a day. A great experience, a nice short break that I'm recommending to everyone.

Great location and great breakfast

Great location! In front of the beach. I recommend this hotel if you want to be near the beach and about 10-15 minutes walking from some of the main streets, sites, and shopping. Right next to the Varna Port as well. Service wasn't too friendly. Something to improve on. The receptionists were usually grouchy and didn't seem happy to be there, compared to other hotels I've been to. Breakfast was amazing! Highly recommended. Great choices. Free WiFi was convenient as well.

Was great experiense, would definatly come back! The balcony in appartment room was very big with great sea view Not very comfortable parking,was dificult to park the car.

Outdated hotel

Old hotel that needs renovation. The night staff weren't too friendly and wifi is not secured. Rooms were spacious but beds were small. Lot of moths in my room. Also, they gave me a low floor so no redeeming view of the beach that the higher floors received.

Great hotel for the price!

Other than the mattress being a bit hard, the whole hotel was amazing. Clean, friendly staff and well located. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Varna!

Varna stay

Hotel was very nice, in a great location, close to the beaches, bars and town. Varna is a beautiful place and would recommend to family and friends. We would also return for another visit. The only thing that let the experience and score to a 4 for comfort was the bed was not comfortable at all, may need to upgrade to new mattresses.

A bit soviet style

Hotel is nicely located close to the beach. Rooms are at the standard of a 3 star, but quite gloomy and sad. I had a room with view on the back, with little light, and an empty terrace shared with other rooms (so sleeping with open window means that in principle other hotel guest can come in). Let's put it in this way, you can find better accommodations in Varna.

Good value for money

Good value for money right at the beach, easy to get to with a car or a bike and has convenient carage. Staff not too helpful or welcoming.

Nice location, further Customer service trainings

Lovely location. Room is a decent size. However, Krasimira (reception staff) is very rude and has a lot of attitude. She has shown me that the hotel doesn't have regular customer service trainings for her to think she can be so rude to me. She demanded I must show her my passport for her to keep in order for them to check my details. I had given her my driving licence and bank card which I have paid from and told her I'm following the instructions I have been given by Expedia for my stay ( which doesn't even mention passport or I.D) . I have stayed in some of the best 5 star hotels and have never had to show my passport or have been given this type of attitude.

Exceptional price/services ratio. The room is big, staff is very kind, breakfast was fair and tastefull. The only drawback is the absence of balcony in most of the rooms. But the view is perfect...

Clean room, tolerable but basic breakfast, but no room service or restaurant to speak of, and hotel staff were generally keen to get back to using their phones.

Fantastic view overlooking the sea

This hotel, by far, was my favorite part of our trip to Bulgaria. We could have stayed at one of the resort locations 20 min out of town but chose this hotel. We arrived late and had arranged for the hotel airport pick up. Staff were extremely courteous and helpful. We upgraded to a larger room for a relatively small amount. The public beach is right across the street and the main area for shopping and restaurants is about a 10 min walk. I felt safe in this area although we didn't venture out late. The public beach access is right across the street. The beach has numerous beach bars where you can drink or eat. They have great seating, umbrellas and views of the sea. This hotel is a great value for what you get.

Nice hotel, hotel details are misleading

This is a nice hotel and seems to fit a 4-star rating. Rooms are spacious and clean. Hotel is in a good modern condition. Breakfast had several hot items (such as fried eggs, sausages), meat cuts and crepes. I enjoyed my stay, and my main disappointments are: * There is no swimming pool! The main picture mislead me that there is one (my bad for not reading other reviews). There is a public swimming pool with its own price and opening hours across the street. From what I could see, there may by a swim cap requirement. * The hotel is not located directly at the beach, as claimed. You need to cross a moderately busy road and walk about 100m (300ft) down the street.

Good breakfast!

We were very disappointed with the hotel, the location was on a very busy main road which you had to cross to get to the beach!!The area around the hotel was very poor and dirty! Also there was NO pool and was told that we could use the communial swimming pool across the road, which was always too busy and was in use by local clubs practicing! I had a receipt from you saying that there was nothing to pay at the hotel and yet we were charged for our stay AGAIN!!! Totally disappointed! Never again to return!

Great beach

The hotel was very well located and is situated on one of the better beaches that I have been to in Bulgaria - Black Sea!!!

VIEW OF THE SEA

OUR STAY WAS OK, 2 NIGHTS, HOWEVER RESTAURTANT VERY SMALL AND BASIC, ONLY BAR SNACKS IN THE EVENING, WE FEEL THE HOTEL IS MORE SUITED FOR BUSINESS. THE STAFF WERE VERY OBLIGING, GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE, GOOD ENGLISH. UNDER GROUND CAR PARKING HELPFUL. TAXI RIDE TO CENTER 6 LEV. HELPFUL DRIVER, BIG SHOPPING MALL, GOOD TO GO WHETHER IS RAINING OR NOT.

Nice breakfast and good location.

The rooms were clean and in good condition. Also, the breakfast was very good and diversified. The hotel is located near the beginning of the Primorsko park and the beach. It has a beautiful view of the sea if you get a room on the east side. On the negative side, I would have liked to be able to prepay my stay by credit card on reservation. Since this option was not available, I had to carry cash with me. In a country like Bulgaria, this is not such a good idea.

Ticked all the boxes. We were very happy with the hotel.

great hotel in a great location

Both my room and the hotel as a whole were very clean and comfortable. the staff was attentive. The hotel is across the street from a lovely beach and an easy walk from the other attractions.

Good hotel...shame about the staff

Not as advertised, there was a pool but it was only available for one hour a day (between 7 and 8 am.) The hotel itself was generally nice and clean and the breakfast was okay. The reception staff let it down as they were quite rude and unhelpful. Would still recommend a stay at this hotel as it was close to the local amenities and bars, also good value- just as long as you don't arrive expecting your own pool as we did.

Schönes Hotel in Strand und Zentrum Nähe, freundliches Personal, reichhaltiges Büffet, Zimmer und Ausstattung leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen

Das Hotel und die Möbel der Zimmer sind schon in die Jahre gekommen aber sehr sauber. Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Am Frühstücksbüffet fanden wir am Toastbrot Schimmelbildung. Nach dem Hinweis an das Personal wurden jedoch nur die zwei befallenen Toast statt aller Toastbrote am Buffet Teller entfernt. Das war für uns ein absolutes No Go und wir gingen dann jeden Tag in ein Café oder Bäckerei in der Nähe frühstücken.

Kleines, sympathisches Hotel mit top Anbindung (zu Fuß) an die Bucht von Varna.

Sehr gute Lage mit schönen Ausblick - aber leider direkt an stark befahrenen Strasse - sehr laut bei offenen Fenster
