Central, convenient, decent room

Beautiful location on Augusta. Close to amazing food, cultural sites, Paulista Ave is close, clubs, bakeries etc. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable if you have questions about your stay or the area. I will be back.

The safe didn't work in my room. The front desk said they'd send somebody by to fix it (room 2204) and they never did. The doors don't close properly, there are clearly marks on the room doors off people trying to break in. This hotel does not take security seriously.

Air conditioning mouldy, shower leading, sheets smelt of mould. Drilling at 12 midnight. Fridge not working, mirror falling off the wall. Wifi not allowing login. What’s not a great experience. The only positive was the friendly check in staff member. He was great. But the hotel is tired and in need of a refurb.

I had hoped a big hotel like this would get me in early. Nope Crappy room assignment too. Safe didnt work. Key card rarely worked in elevator. Not sound proof. Dirty towels. Thin pillows. Basic room. 70 years old. Slats over windows. Homeless all over. Sadly, this may be the best hotel in the area.

Get what you pay for

Water leaking from bathroom ceiling on electrical. Staff said it’s safe and never changed our room. Beds were horrible have a back ache now.

The property is older. Windows are not clean. The bathroom sink was cracked. There was a water leak from the bathroom wall. The best aspect was breakfast- lots of choices and very good service.

TERRIBLE STAY. NO AIR CONDITIONING

This hotel shouldnt be recommended for now. Huge issues with air condtioning, maintenenace, etc. Mildew on the ceilings of my suite, hot as hell. Cant charge anything to your room. You have tobwalk with your credit card or cash within the hotel. Ridiculous!. Ive never experienced this before. Even room service you have to pay upon delivery. It has seen better days. Great history behind it, queens, presidents, mivie stars stayed here back in the 1950s. But now its not a place i would go back to or recommend. The location is very dangerous. Cant just walk out for a stroll.

Old Hotel

The hotel is very old and needs upgrades. The personnel in Front Desk is extremely slow.

The reception staff was very cold and refused to serve me because I did not speak Portuguese. I thought that was unprofessional as he did not offer to get me sorted. This is the first of many visits for me to get underserved this way. Otherwise, it is my go-to place in SP. I will return again.

Nice Hotel, Good Location

Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. The hotel restaurant was open late and the quality of food was all right. the location is walking distance to the old town.

CONS: Air Conditioning (AC) did not work for 2 days. Bed is very uncomfortable and feels like cheap quality mattress. Horrible Guest Policy - No visitors (Friends, Families or people you meet) allowed unless they register and pay a fee right then and there. No power outlets near the bed, and all are only 220V (Most US items are 120V). Exterior windows are extremely dirty and have shutters so you have a limited view. PROS: Junior Suite is very cute and spacious. Best Breakfast out of all the hotels I stayed at in Sao Paulo. Excellent Internet (Was the only hotel I stayed in Sao Paulo that had great consistent internet). Most of the Staff was extremely kind and polite (Manager Vanessa was extremely professional, understanding and polite!) Bathroom's are nice, Shower has excellent water pressure, and great quality shampoo and conditioner.

GREAT HOTEL IN SAO PAULO

We have stayed in this property several times. It is close to many restaurants and walkable. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Hotel is safe and staff is very friendly.

I’ve been staying at this hotel for years and love the downtown São Paulo area. It is still possible to walk around and feel the city.

Good safe location close to the center but so-so

The best about the Jaragua is its location, which is close to the center of Sao Paulo, and is in a relatively safe residential neighborhood. Nearby there is a really attractive street with nice decorative lighting with fabulous Italian restaurants. (For less pricey places take a short cab ride to 13 de Maio street.) Even closer is a convenient supermarket. The design of the Jaragua hotel is a bit complicated as to go to the restaurant for meals you have to go down to the lobby and then go by escalator to the second floor (third floor for US people). I wish they had explained that at check-in. The breakfast was fabulous with a rich assortment of cold and hot dishes and things that you can order a la carte like tapioca, a healthy omelet type food (not pudding nor eggs). But again, we were not explained this and found by asking. The hot water in the shower was plentiful which was great. The faucet in the facebowl squirted a bit, and was not that plentiful. The air conditioning temperature could not be controlled and we had to turn it on and off. The internet was very good at times but sometimes got cut off. The lights went out for a brief period once during our two-night stay. The restaurant would not deliver drinks to our room and it took a long time to get them at the restaurant. Brazilian time, I guess... Overall, I would stay again for the location and the price. It's fairly good but not a highly luxurious hotel.

Bad receptionists.

Stay for two days, one night no hot water /no internet at all. So went to receiption to request a free breakfast as compensation, so we got free breakfast

Yes: size of the room, clean. Breakfast: outstanding, everything NO: pressure of the tap water . Regulation of water in the shower. But it worked

Nice hotel for the price. Good location in downtown. Staff is excellent very helpful especially Victor. Breakfast is also very good. Outside the hotel there are homeless people and some petty criminals so you have to be careful but its nothing to bad. All in all I would recommend this hotel.

I have stayed at the Novotel before and it never disappoints. The rooms are spacious, the staff is very friendly and the maids are helpful. The room is always clean and the beds comfortable. They also offer breakfast (at a cost) and have on site restaurant. There are also restaurants nearby.

It's an okay hotel, often long lines in the reception lobby, but very friendly staff. They do their best. Hotel internet is awful though. I would not rely on it if you need to be online to work.

Overall it was a good stay, only thing I wasn't too keen on was the surrounding area since it was located in downtown Sao Paulo once you're out of the hotel it's not such a nice area.

Bed was ok, pretty much everything was ok. Room size was large which was nice. Most important thing to me is a soft comfortable bed. So if you like firm beds you’ll love it

Very accommodating especially regarding my last minute request to stay into the afternoon, rather than the scheduled 1200h check-out. Bilingual staff was extremely helpful. Constant security staff was reassuring as well. Obrigado.

O bigodinho na recepção foi muito atencioso. Porem o Hotel pecou na limpeza do quarto e principalmente nas trocas de toalhas. Um dia a tolaha chegou manchada, e no outro dia deixaram so uma toalha num quarto onde estava hospedado um casal.

Maravilhosa. Todos atendentes super educados e atenciosos. Principalmente o Piero e a Diane da recepção. Nós quarto o ar condicionado não resfriou e gentilmente eles nos trocaramde quarto. Do começo ao fim todos foram gentis. Ótimo café da manhã. Limpeza excelente. Restaurante com ótima qualidade de buffet.

Hotel fantástico no centro histórico. Recepcionistas super atenciosos. Hall lindíssimo! O quarto é super espaçoso, tem guarda-roupas e uma vista incrível. Quando chegamos o quarto já estava climatizado. Ficamos em 3 (casal com 1 filho). Quando chegamos o sofá-cama estava arrumadinho, com tudo separado para a criança. Roupas de banho e de cama excepcionais. Ducha perfeita com banheira. Café da manhã fartíssimo! Só fiquei triste porque queriam cobrar para irmos até à cobertura. Localização excepcional. O estacionamento podia ser um pouco mais barato, mas, enfim, nós amamos! Só falta uma piscina…

O hotel é excelente e não tenho nada de ruim a relatar. Única coisa negativa foi o valor do estacionamento, o mais caro que já peguei.

NAO PODE OFERECER UMA CAMA TAO RUIM

Esse hotel é histórico, atrae pessoas para além de uma visita, que querem caminhar no outro dia. No entanto a cama é horrível. o meu quarto foi o 622, nao sei se todos estao na mesma condição. No outro dia tive que ir embora, estava andando torto por conta de uma cama e travesseiros sem a menor condição de descanso e ainda incomodos.

O Hotel é muito bom, mas notei um cheiro desagradável na porta do meu quarto. Poderiam colocar o mesmo aroma da recepção nos corredores dos quartos. O quarto estava limpo, mas com cheiro de umidade (não chegava a ser cheiro de mofo, mas estava quase lá).

Hotel de grande porte da antiga rede novotel. Otimo cafe da manha. Boa infraestrutura. Sempre cheio. Localizacao no centro um pouco perigosa p se deslocar a pé, especialmente a noite.

O Hotel Nacional Inn Jaraguá costuma ser minha preferência em São Paulo por vários motivos: Localização central, Estrutura com conforto, Restaurante privilegiado, Atendimento Profissional, Cordialidade, enfim, se mantiver a política de preços atual será ainda excelente opção.

Foi excelente ótimo em todos os sentidos

A reserva era quarto familia, porém foi nos dado quarto duplo. Ao retornar para a recepção o problema foi rapidamente resolvido.

Gostei muito do hotel , o que deixa a desejar é no quesito limpeza . A banheira de hidromassagem com fios de cabelos de hóspedes anteriores, uma nojeira.

Minha observação vai para duas coisas: Achei o hotel muito cheio ( muitos hóspedes) E tivemos um dia problema com água.
