This hotel was adequate for a 1 night stay on our holiday where we were trying to save money where we could, especially after staying in Switzerland for 4 nights. In that sense this hotel did its job for us however I wouldn’t choose this hotel for longer than 1 night. Our room was comfortable but basic, breakfast was nice, the lift didn’t seem very safe so we didn’t use it more than once. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful.

My time in Milan

I was made very welcome, lovely clean room but I had to ask for tea & coffee as the tray was empty. The TV was exceptionally small and only had a limited choice and all in Italian.

We were thankful for air conditioning on our last night. The breakfast was worth it for the extra 20., cappuccinos and espressos made to order.

I just stayed for 3 nights at Hotel Montecarlo and it was great. I booked the economy so it it was small, but perfect for my budget. It was very clean and close to plenty of shops and restaurants and the Centrale train station. The staff was very nice and the shower water got hot. If I'm ever able to make it back to Milano I'll go back to Montecarlo for sure.

The hotel was clean and was in a nice location. The staff were amazing and really helpful whenever we had questions. The breakfast was also good. The rooms were clean but the halls were a bit noisy 7am on first floor. Overall a great stay and wonderful staff!

This hotel was extremely comfortable and clean, and tremendous value for money. The staff couldn't do enough to help us, and were very friendly. I would recommend this gem of a hotel to anyone. It was a genuine pleasure to stay here.

We stayed in a room with 2 beds. These were next to the reception of the hotel. We heard a lot of noise during the night with the phone ringing and an alarm going off. For the rest, a good bed and clean bathroom!

Ok hotel, but car was broken into

The area is run down, the Hotel was average, but not an area for people to park their car as mine was broken into overnight, despite the hotel warning me that this is a regular occurrence in the streets

We really enjoyed our stay at hotel montecarlo! The rooms were spacious and had a comfortable bed. The hotel is located in a quieter area and was about a 10 minute walk to loreto station which took us straight to the duomo.

It’s not far from Milano Centrale location about 2 km walk. Very quiet area. Small boutique hotel. Decent for this price staying in Milan.

The stay was good with clean room but heard the noise next door opening and closing given it’s too small of a hotel. Otherwise it’s good!

The managers/owners are very hands on and dedicated to their hotel. The breakfast at 4euros is cheap. The room is clean and the internet is fast. If not for the surrounding buildings looking untidy with trash and graffiti, this hotel would rate higher. Recommend to those on a budget.

This is a very good hotel as it has a great staff with an excellent location (about 5 minutes from the M2 metro line and 10 minutes from the M1). The breakfast was an excellent way to start the day! Great place to stay i Milan

Upon arrival, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the reception area was bright and welcoming. There was a lift to our room which was great appreciated with our big bags, our room was lovely and clean, the bed was so comfortable and warm. The toilet was lovely and had everything we needed. During our checkout we were able to wait in reception with our luggage until we went for our train. Brilliant stay would definitely recommend.

Fantastic hotel , perfect location , plenty of things to see

Loved our room! The only downside was that one of the glass shower doors leaked water onto the floor. The front reception staff is superb & helpful!

We stayed one night here and it was ideal for our stay. It was close to a supermarket and not too far from the central station. The room had everything we needed and was a decent size and clean too. Would recommend if looking for a hotel on a budget and don’t mind the walk or public transport to the main area of Milan (near the cathedral). We would stay here again.

The only thing I didn’t like was the fact that you was not able to see light from the window as they had Barriers it made the room feel a little trapped

Very nice little hotel with good breakfast. Rooms on the front were very noisy in the week. Good location in Loreto and lots of interesting restaurants around there too. Thank you for everything!

Helpful and informative staff. Simple and no fuss hotel.

I really liked the location, it is in Loreto which is quiet and close to a lot of main shops. The room was clean, had everything I needed and the staff were friendly. The only negatives were the air conditioning wasn't great and it lacked certain touches like proper shower gel/shampoo or a bar of soap etc.

Nice room and staff. The cleanliness is excellent and the bed is comfortable. There could be better lighting as the room is not well lit by natural light. Apart from that there's nothing to complain about especially that the price is competitive.

Very good budget hotel

Good visit. Super comfy bed - I mean, seriously excellent. Clean and nice bathroom. Air-con didn't seem to function, nor did the fridge (which was bunging out heat despite not making the fridge cold!). Helpful staff on the desk. Really convenient for Metro and the Polytechnic.

3 star hotel with 5 star service. Amazingly friendly staff, so eager to please. When I return to Milan, I will stay here. Don't miss this one!

Good value for money, about 10 mins walk from Central St. Friendly staff and a good shower. Darker curtains would be nice to block out the light. Continental breakfast was quite simple, but fair given the price. I would stay again.

Very clean and recently renovated/refurbished 3-star hotel. A short 10~12 minute walk from Loreto Station. A couple of metro stops to downtown, easily walkable even to Duomo (45mins on foot). Quiet, residential area with beautiful old apartment low-rise buildings in traditional architecture. Overall, a superb value.

Exactly what I expected at these prices. Nothing fancy, but clean comfortable rooms, friendly staff and a great supermarket extremely close by. Easy walk to the railway station. Would stay here again.

The room was a good size the shower was great , it was further to walk to metro then others had said in reviews When I booked I asked for breakfast but the hotel said not payed for so had pay extra it was ok , Need a new toaster it’s so old only allowed one cup of coffee what staff made , milk for cereals you had find a member of staff to get it as behind the bar area the boiled eggs where so cold you think be in the fridge

Check in was fabulous, the young man was more than helpful. However, once the shift changed, the night attendee shut off the air conditioner, that I asked for to be on all night. Room was hot and noisy. Close proximity to central train station and a couple of markets, which is convenient. Major sights are quite far.

It was fairly hot, being from North America where I'm used to strong AC, I'm not used to 30 degrees with windows open vs using AC.

Montecarlo is a cute little hotel tucked in the street of Via vallazze , Milan. The hotel rooms were cute n cozy but well maintained. The Gentleman named Nicko was very helpful, we checked in late n i wanted some hot water to make my tea n i asked him n he said to me to go ahead in my room n he will bring it to our room n voilla !!! In next 2 minutes he was at the door with 2 cups n saucers with spoons in a tray n an electric kettle. Also the electrical ports were different n inspite of taking the converters it wasn't working so we asked Nicko n he got us 2 different converters throughout our stay n it made our stay more comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, who would want a cute cozy room to sleep in with a cute little balcony to sip your morning coffee/ tea after a long day of exploring Milan..

Great budget hotel

Very good stay at the Montecarlo. Shared a twin room with a friend - although small it had everything we needed. Staff were welcoming and helpful, even took our bags up to our room while we were at lunch before we could check in. Breakfast was simple but good, considering included in price of the room. Metro stops (M1 and M2) within short walking distance, very convenient for getting to all the main places. Overall a really good stay 😊

Good small hotel in Milan, easy reach from Linate and close to metro to access the rest of Milan. Friendly english speaking staff, rooms were good for this star of hotel.

It's a pretty nice place not too far away from the centre. Budget hotel but it has everything you need, spacious rooms, comfortable bed.

Like: staff cery gentle and helpful. Espresso coffee durkng breakfast. Dialike: elevator very small and slow. Limited breakfast for those who seek gluten free options.

i reserved a room described in your site as comfort single room , i choose it because it is larger in size 151 ft. than single economy room which is 108 ft. but actually they give me the smallest room and when i describe for them the difference that written in expedia site between comfort and economy single room size they said we have only this type of room this should not occur , because we trust expedia another thing the breakfast was poor and not fresh eggs on and off

We stayed for 2 nights - hotel very clean - staff very friendly and helpful - delicious pastries for breakfast and great coffees - hotel staff happy to store our luggage after checkout until time for airport - 2 metro stops near by - air conditioning could be a bit cooler but we stayed during heatwave

Clean hotel and friendly staff. Excellent location. Ask the guys at reception to help you park. They have a few cones out but that’s not obvious when you arrive. All in all basic but functional.

Lovely balcony - made me feel I was in a Graham Greene novel. One stop from Centrale station and about a 20 min walk into downtown. V friendly and helpful staff. Very basic amenities (fridge, safe, tiny tv. No coffee/tea or kettle). Clean, crisp linen. No elevator so if that's a problem for you bear it in mind.

No Aircondition or fan , guy at the front desk said they will turn on Aircondition only after June, Bath stall (If I can call that a stall ) it is only half covered with flimsy plastic it is a joke with no room to shower without water coming out. Noise from road during night , no fan . Room is not clean

The property was exactly as expected from other reviews we had read before booking. Hotel Montecarlo suited our needs perfectly. Very polite and helpful staff, very clean property, great location with easy access to public transport, supermarkets, shops and restaurants. Room was small (but we knew that prior to booking), but very clean, comfortable and surprisingly very quiet despite being next to a busy road. Breakfast was simple but perfectly adequate with freshly made coffee on request.

Nice property and the staff/owners were nice and attentive. March in Milan maybe isn’t supposed to be warm. The AC was not on and the open window did not allow the cooler air to come in but we got all the street noise.

Friendly Day staff. Clean on the inside. Didn't realize breakfast was extra until I checked out; otherwise, may have skipped it.

The beds were surprisingly comfortable and made for a great sleep. The staff were all very friendly and went above and beyond to help us (printed our boarding passes, helped us find a power converter, etc.). The only thing I didn't enjoy was how hot the room was, and the lack of blackout curtains. The room was too warm but we weren't supposed to adjust the thermostat, so we were very uncomfortable at night. There was also a lot of light coming into the room, so that was not ideal. The hotel is really close to great restaurants and is walking distance to the centre, so we really appreciated that.

Clean modern hotel near metro station and central of Milan in a quiet area. The room was not prepared as we requested but the receptionist listened to our requests and organised it to be done.

Great hotel in a charming neighborhood

Very new, modern hotel in a beautiful neighborhood of Milan. Short walk to the metro station or streetcar that delivers you straight to the Duomo. Safe, low traffic area. Carrefour grocery store very close also. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Given given the price level, i.e. it not a luxury hotel, it couldn't be much better.

Personale molto cortese. L'albergo è un buone condizioni e nella stanza c'è tutto il necessario, anche un balconcino. Un po' rumorosa, sia da fuori, sia dall'interno. La posizione non è centralissima, ma ci sono fermate di autobus e metro nelle vicinanze.
