A liittle outdated. some guests were really loud like at 2-3 AM, not the hotels fault. Staff were extremely friendly, suggested and helped secure Uber to Jerez instead of taxi due to the higher taxi rates.

Lovee this Hotel. Great location, right in the center of the Historic Center. Staff was super friendly and nice! Also has its own underground parking, located behind the hotel… Lourdes was such a helpful lady and was also super nice. The room we got was decent and had a good view of the street through the balcony.

The staff was awesome. The location was perfect and centered in a prime location. The room was a dated. Overall this hotel worked out well for our 4day stay.

Great hotel and close to shopping and restaurants.

This hotel is older and our room was pretty basic. We had a dog friendly room. The hotel is very central and walkable to many sights, restaurants and shopping. Staff were friendly and helpful. Quite a noisy location, lots of loud celebrations going on until the wee hours.

Room was small ,but bed was comfortable. We upgraded to room with a balcony and view of city was absolutely beautiful. However come 10 o'clock there was so much noise coming from what I think was a night club across the way. Sleepless night for sure as music was blasting until 3 am. We are in our 40's so I must say that environment wasn't for us but i think if you are young and like to party this is definitely a hotel to consider. :)

The place was clean and their food was delicious.

Horrible place. Started out in the wrong room. I got a king size and it was two full size. When we brought it up they said they would change it but it would take 2 days. When we changed it the heater didn’t work or the blow dryer. Just a horrible experience all around. Also one of the nights there were kids out in the hallway yelling and running until 3am and not once did they stop when we told the front desk. The front desk did nothing to help so I got no sleep because we had to be up at 7am. Thanks for nothing. I will never go to another hotel. Airbnb is so much better! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

I always like staying at mission whenever i vacation in zacatecas. The front desk customer service is great and i appreciate all there help touring around downtown zacatecas

If you are looking for a very affordable place this is the one … it’s quite and clean and the location is prime , registration was easy … I have a couple comments you guys can have an improvement , I would like help desk would be a little bit different… you guys shouldn’t be able to do check in not only via whatsup due that I’m one of the only of the very few people in Mexico or in the world of not have social media by choice, and it was a little bit hard for me to do a check in , second - it’s no phones in the rooms, the place was a little bit outdated, but for the money I paid I’m not complaining at all , I only stayed one night and it was very convenient for me because it was very centric and walking distance from cathedral Church , I will recommend this place if you are a little bit tight on your budget, Thank You.

The location was great! The hotel staff was wonderfully friendly and helpful. The hotel room itself wasnt the best. All in all, I might stay there again ONLY because of the location.

Cool place and in downtown Zacatecas!

The property is in the heart of the city; it’s very convenient for walking to the points of interest in this historic city. The only problem was that the check in time was at 3 pm, and it was past 6 pm, and no rooms ready.

We found the first room assigned to us dark as the window faced a dark elevator lobby. The room itself was spacious and clean. They kindly assigned us to another room fronting the street and warned us it would be noisy. It was! And we loved it! There were a lot of festivities going on! Made us feel like we were in Europe somewhere. This hotel is in the heart of the historical district. A wonderful place. Fun!

Stay in Zacatecas

Initially they gave us a very small twin bed room. We had reserved a king, we went back to let them know and they changed the room. The hotel is nice and right in the middle of town close to the main church. They have a nice breakfast buffet for a very reasonable price. I would stay there again. The price is right.

This place gets 5 stars for location, it literally cannot be better. Staff was friendly and helpful. The main thing for me was that there is no AC only a ceiling fan, which is enough since weather is perfect. No iron in the room and no phone to contact main desk. We used our cellphone to call main desk and they made us come down and sign a document for borrowing the iron, which did not work and had to come down to get another one. I ended up staying 5 nights here. I WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN SINCE THE PRICE IS GOOD, and STAFF IS GREAT.

Good Location in Zacatecas

Good location just a short walk from the cathedral. The rooms were comfy and clean. Not all the rooms had a view to the outside. Our room had a window to the hallway. Parking was free but spaces were small requiring some maneuvering to get into a parking spot. Overall a good place. I would stay here again

We like that it is pet friendly and right downtown

Location is great

Room was not cleaned, sheets were old, door key was not working, had to get someone from stuff every time we need to enter to door to open the door for us.

The toilet was not working took over an hr to get another room. Then someone blocked our car inside the hotel parking structure twice! And the hotel staff was like “ whatever “

Nice place. As other reviewers have noted. It’s dated…but isn’t that the charm of the city? The WR code checkin is a pain in the butt and takes forever.

Excellent stay, room was very nice. They were so accepting of our dog. Even brought a large bed, bowls and a play toy. Thought this was super nice. Bellman, incredibly nice and helpful. Front desk was very helpful as well especially the head of reception, Sari. If ever in zacatecas again this is where i will stay. Centrally located to all.

Nice hotel but beware the hotel has NO A/C!!! Only a CEILING FAN that didn’t work half the time! We had some brutally hot nights! I can’t imagine how hot it must be in July/August. Also, the parking gets full quick so if you come back to the hotel a little late expect the parking lot to be full.

Great hotel located in central Zacatecas... Friendly staff

There is nothing unique except the location, rooms are a bit dated and the room services may like to take your personal items, my mother shoes went missing and when reported to the staff nothing was done not an apology given, from the entrance to the parking lot there is a notice of “not responsible for items lost” on the door to the elevator already in premises.Stayed two nights and left thinking is a shame we may not return to this hotel or any of the Misión chain.

Great place and great value

This hotel is right in downtown and very convenient. The staff was courteous and friendly. The parking lot is in the back of the hotel and I was able to get in without any problems.

I like that is near a lot of restaurants. I did not like that the hotel has a lot of noise a 3am and the staff did not do anything about it.

Please don’t stay here! Location is great but not worth the price! These hotel rooms are in a really bad condition! Super old

Room was just okay, arrived at 6:30 a.m. had to pay for 1 extra day and room was so small. they said my room was going to be ready at 2:00, went back to from desk at 3:30 they were trying to give a room with 2 beds and I said, no I only need 1 bed. There was a few other issues that I rather not discuss. The only good thing about the hotel it was in downtown Zacatecas and good view from our room.

The room they advertised was not the one they gave me. Old towels and bed sheets with stains. Door knob was not closing properly. Elevator was not working. AC unit not working. Hot tub hydro massage was not working. TERRIBLE place. The only good thing was that it’s next to Downtown.

Phone didnt work, elevator out of service for full day. Their food was ok but paid too much

Hotel is under renovation, unfortunately our room had not yet been renovated. Furniture was very old and worn but the beds were comfortable and that was important. Great location in center of town, easy walking.

And it’s a Lotta improvement and it needs to be updated I would’ve called it a drive-through hotel or motel

From the moment we checked into this so called hotel (because is more like a Motel 6) we were disappointed. We had booked two rooms and we had several issues: 1. We were given a room without A/C or a ceiling fan. When I tried to call the front desk from the the room’s phone, the phone’s buttons where not working. When I finally got a hold of someone at the front desk she told me the hotel was going under renovations and they did not have any rooms with A/C or ceiling fans. The other room they gave us did have an A/C unit, she basically lied to me. The only way she switched us to another room was after the bellman talked to her and I’m not sure what he said to her but they then put us in a different room with a wobbling ceiling fan, no A/C, but that was better. 2. The bathroom towels were supposed to be white, but they were gray and very old, seemed like rags one uses to clean your car with. The towels also had holes in them. (Pics available) 3. The shower curtain had black mold throughout. (Pics available) 4. The room door keys where continuously not working. We had to go down to the registration desk at least twice a day (for three days) to get new keys. Worst than that was that the staff did not seemed to care. No apology was given only a new set of keys to try. One of those times a staff member came up to the room with us, I guess they were checking that we were not making this huge inconvenience up. The staff member was not able to open the door either

The ubication is good because is Zacatecas Downtown

The tub area to get in is very dangerous . There are no safety bars plus there toilet is a low boy . They need a chair height toilet . For a 6 ft plus person it is very low.

Something that I did not like was the carpet in my opinion you need to chance for title it will be more clean the room.

Over all I didn’t not like it there was people coming all through the night drunk and loud very noise. The only thing I like it was in the center of the city. Other thzn that it was terrible don’t recommend. I will not stay again. I can wait for the night to end terrible hotel

Unfortunate experience - I found past guest underwear on the closet floor. =( Meaning housekeeping wasn't thorough when cleaning. PRO - Great location, right down city center - Near nice restaurants and coffee shops. - Service and front desk were very kind CONS - Old rooms and bathroom - Dirty and humid rugs - Hot water would go on and off as I took a shower - Pillow shams were dirty and had fungus (I had to place towels on top of the pillows) - Curtains didn't close, so I got light from the hallway all night

Not what I expected

The street was under construction so it was hard to get to the hotel. The rooms are really old and had a weird smell. The location seems ok for tourism but overall was really uncomfortable and it felt kind of unsafe. The hotel has a beautiful facade but needs a remodelation ASAP. And to top it all it was not cheap at all.

The room was very dirty, the carpet very used and dirt raised when stepped on it, under the bed an inch of dirt all around

Great place to visit Zacatecas, location is perfect to visit museums, bars, restaurants or just walk on these beautiful city.

Regular hotel in great location

The hotel is in a great location. Nevertheless, the rooms need some rehab (faucet was broken, bathtub got clogged and is old, carpets are old), it is very noisy (from street and other rooms). I reserved a tour through them for the next day, which they forgot to reserve it and we missed it. Also I reserved a taxi early morning and the lobby guy was not aware of the reservation when in fact it was done (miscommunication). If you don’t mind these things it’s an ok hotel to stay in, because it’s close to everything.

Nice Place for the Cost and Location!

Enjoyed a weekend get away. So many things are in walking distance.

The inside does not represent the outside

We stayed there and the room smelled like dirty feet (carpet), the little sofa was super dirty as well, the decor and furniture are aged and the tv never worked (they switched TVs and they could not make it work) , when I brought that up to the front desk they gave me a candy and told me they were sorry. Expedia could never get a hold of someone that could do something about a change in my reservation for over a week now. The good thing is that is in the best location and walking distance to everything.

Perfect location

This city is beautiful! Good food, excellent customer service, and what a wonderful city full of great history. The hotel was perfect for our stay and everything was in walking distance.

It can use a mayor overhaul.

I picked this hotel for the review but it did not match to what we got. The room had but two very little windows that open to the indoor corridor and one was rusted shut. The outside is beautiful but I can not recommend staying in this property since I couldn't even stay the nights I booked because of the room condition.

Cheap and Great Location

Let me start off by saying the location of this hotel is awesome! You're literally close to all sorts of things. There are a couple of hipster like bars to right, as well as a small museum. Behind you it you have your cantinas. And in the front you have your small shops. Parking is located behind the main entrance (on a one way street). The hotel staff was great. They allowed for an early check in at no extra cost. Once we were checked in, the person in charge of cleaning that room checked in with us to make sure everything was clean (which it was). The room was pretty basic, bed, tv, desk, mirror, bed side table and lamp. Water pressure in the shower could be better. The only negative thing I can say about this place is how thin the walls are. We were able to hear people talking right outside, banging through the walls of the upstairs room. Aside from that, great inexpensive place.

The room was too small, nothing like what shown in the pictures for a standard room. No air conditioning, just a fan and you could hear everything through the walls. The staff was not helpful at all , expect for one of the girls who works at night.

Terrible rooms great location

The room looked nothing like the pictures. It had a bad smell and the beds were very uncomfortable. Someone came into my room with a key from another room. I reported it to the desk they said they "would look into it." Another day I accidently went to wrong floor but corresponding room and my key opened another person room. I was very embarrassed but more than anything thought how unsafe for myself and my belongings. The only that was great was the location.

It could be great!

First the good, great location your in the middle of everything on the main street in front of the park by the basilica. The bad room had a few roches and is very noise since I got a Balcony and like I said is in the middle of everything.

Dissapointed

Zacatecas is a great place to vacation. Alot of history, great people, wonderful sights, etc. We go back every few years and we have always stayed at the Mision Argento. (Named Changed); This time our stayed at the hotel was not the greatest. Service was lousy from the front desk to being very loud at night and very hot in the rooms. The restaurant staff were the only ones that I can compliment. Although we plan on returning to Zacatecas we will not be staying at the Mision Argento. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone at this time.
