They have just breakfast and convenience store with liqueors, whiskeys, wines and beers. You have to look around for launch and dinner.
Essentially I liked this budget hotel in downtown Quito. The staff were very friendly and engaged me in conversation often. The complimentary water bottle at check-in was delightful. The location is great--you're close to Parque La Alameda which is beautiful, safe, relaxing, and even contains a small planetarium museum! There were two things I didn't like about the room that made it a bit disagreeable, but which can both be easily remedied. The first was that there was no reading lamp. The best light in the room for relaxing with a good book was the bathroom light, so one evening I put a chair in the bathroom and read a full chapter of my current book. The other was that there were some sort of bugs in the bed. Each night I was awakened with itchy spots on my arms, and each morning noticed numerous red spots. So, a simple reading light and a new mattress and it would be perfect.
The room was very cold throughout the day and worse at night. There was no proper hot water coming in shower.
Well located to many attractions with plenty of cuisine nearby and the inhouse restaurant is a plus. My room exactly as pictured with a beautiful view of Cruz Loma. Please take below comments for information, fir the price and features here its definitely a return for me. Poor internet in my room A coup of coffee is expensive considering continental breakfast is $3.50 Not hot but warm water Bed is good. View is good. Can be noisy from outside. Beautiful deck with view. Polite and very friendly staff.
Ok
Great stay.
Great value for money. Amazing service, we had such an easy check in and we’re given a welcome drink and chocolates which was a nice surprise! Room was comfortable, good hot shower, nice view of city.
Nice place in the old town. The room has no heater and they produced me a small portable heater.
FINE , GREAT LOCATION CLOSE TO DOWNTOWN ALAMEDA PARK PLAZA FOCH LA FLORESTA AREA.
Slow service, great bed and view
Nice little hotel not too far from the historic centre with a great view of the basilica. Bed was super comfortable with nice crisp sheets - when you've been traveling a long time you really start to appreciate a comfortable bed with quality sheets. Good strong hot shower. Super noisy room on the street front but I was able to sleep through it ok - guess its a consistent noise. No breakfast included but there's a handy shop downstairs to buy snacks. Check in took way too long - they clearly couldnt find my booking but when I asked, they insisted they had it. Waiting a long time when you arrive late isn't ideal. In fact any time I asked anything I was left waiting a long time. Would recommend this hotel but they need to work on their service time.
Dangerous neighborhood/clean & cheap hotel
The hotel is clean and close to main attractions but many locals said not to walk at night. The staff was rude and rarely engaged with us but the hotel was clean and a bargain deal for the price. It has a nice terrace at the top.
Reasonable hotel, bad wifi
Good little hotel, decent facilities in room, comfortable, area doesn't seem to be dangerous. I was I in a room where the wifi didn't work. I suspect that would be the case with any room far away from the router. I just don't get why they don't put another router closer to those rooms.
Close to old town
Close enough to walk to old town and short bus ride to New town. Grocery store very close and there are kitchen facilities to use in lobby of hotel.
Inexpensive close to old town
Nicely renovated lobby, communal kitchen to use and good grocery store nearby. Ask For a room with outside window cause not all rooms have them. Area was a bit rundown with homeless about. Public transit very close by.
Great budget hotel!
This is a great budget hotel to bed down at while exploring Quito and surrounding areas. Double room with ensuite for $16 a night, very clean and comfortable. The staff were attentive and very helpful. Great location, very easy to access by public transport and a short walk to the historic district. Great local "hole in the wall" eateries nearby. The lobby is quite small, but this would only be an issue if lots of people are socialising in the lobby, and there is a cafe/call centre/store connected to the lobby where you can also sit and access hotel Wi-Fi.
location not bad
Stayed 3 nights and had to upgrade 1st night, no hot water for 3 days and no water at all for 1 day.
Great place in Quito!
This hotel is on the outskirts of the old city, so is well situated in Quito - walking distance to the Basilica, the Central Market, the Plaza del Teatro, even the Plaza Grande. Also close to restaurants, a supermarket, and bus lines. We booked the suite, which is up 4 flights of stairs - great because it was roomy and we had a kitchen; the flights of stairs were rough because we definitely felt the altitude of Quito! The top floor is an outdoor terrace with a fabulous view of Quito, even in the rain! We liked it so much, we stayed 3 weeks!
Good Location
Internet is not available in all rooms as advertised. Cable TV is in Spanish only, and unable to change laguages or add subtitles. Staff are friendly. Can be noisy at night.
Close to the city
Nice hotel for the price - close enough to walk to the downtown area. No breakfast provided but a basic cafe is attached.
Muy bonito el hotel , muy hospitalarios los chicos que trabajan en el hotel.
