The rooms are cramped and very plain. If we need hot water we have to get kettle from front desk.

Nice hotel, good price-value for location. The bathroom smelled of cooked food.

The staff were lovely and helpful, but the location was very intense and crowded. The noise and sirens from the street kept me up every night, and when i asked to change rooms I was told that I could be given a very small room on the interior which was 'much smaller' than my already very small room. There was a strong smell from the bathroom. The hotel was inflexible with my requests to cancel for a refund, or even a partial refund.

They don't care about clients, they don't do anything to help new clients, they have the worst customer service ... in my opinion

Muy centrico

The rooms are too old, the spaces are too noisy, you can hear everything happening around your room And I was in 5th floor, could hear people walking in their rooms, their alarms and sometimes conversations, the breakfast is pretty poor and it was everyday the same food, staff is very friendly Marina and Pablo they’re fantastic the shame is the property needs a refresh also the elevator it is even scary to be on it feels like if your are gonna fall

The hotel is positioned at center of Madrid near more important place of the city Sol ,Plaza Mayor , Parlament Prado museum Thyssen museum and has metro station in front it line 1

El servicio de lavanderia es una basura. Mande a lavar una camisa nueva de zara. Con etiqueta y me la mancharon y dijeron que yo la habia entregado manchada. Puse una reclamacion oficial. Espero me den respuesta.

The property is old, the windows don’t close properly, you can hear the noise from outside and it’s very hot inside, we needed to leave the window open in order to get some breeze. The heater couldn’t be turned off and it was very hot inside. The bathroom smelled really bad every time we would flush the toilet. The room was extremely small. Could be way better for the price.

Breakfast was good, lots of options. Not the most clean place, but rooms are what you see in the pictures

Noisy neighbors

Very loud neighbors. Staff took over an hour to come up and tell them to be quiet at midnight. We were all awake for hours and very tired.

The rooms are very small and outdated. The hotel has a central heater that can't be controlled in the rooms effectively. Therefore get ready for warm uncomfortable nights.

Elevators too slow. Bathroom was split in two and the toilet area did not have a bidet. You had to go across the hall to complete the clean up process

I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The room was much smaller than what the photos on the platform show. It was a struggle to even get in with our luggage. There was no air conditioning, and the bed was extremely hard. Even opening the windows didn’t help—no cold air came in. The bathroom was tiny; when sitting on the toilet, my knees were literally touching the wall. The only good things about this hotel were its location and the €10 breakfast buffet. Other than that, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Convenient location but rooms are too small, the room is too hot, AC doesn't work and the venue is too noisy

I think an upgrade to its rooms and bathrooms would be nice, specially since its almost $200 a night for a stardar room.

They told that they shutdown air conditioning because it was cold outside because of that everyone had to open their windows and that let the noises in, the elevator make a noise that it can be heard all over the place. The bead sheets were tear down also. The only good thing was the location.

The hotel is in a perfect location for everything including a great metro station. It is an older hotel and it does show. The breakfast is good and the staff are very friendly. Not bad overall. For the price point I think there are likely better options.

We only spent 1 night, and I have to say the service was amazing! Pablo, Lydia and Felipe were great, assisted in everything we needed! Very nice staff!! The only thing is that the property doesn’t have parking (in hotel.com if you filter property with parking this hotel shows up) they are affiliated with a parking and they give you 30% discount, but the parking is like 800 meters. The location is perfect because you are in Gran Vía, but is hard to access if you are going with to much luggage which was my case that I was traveling with a baby. Overall we had a good time and one again, the staff was incredibly!! Thank you

Great location and staff were helpful and wonderful

The staff of the hotel was very kind and friendly, Jorge , Felipe and Osvaldo they help us a lot and make our stay better. The conditions of the hotel is below average, the rooms needs maintenance, the toilets moves, the outlets covers are broken, etc, It’s not kids safe, outlets and windows are unsafe for kids. The elevators are not enough for the capacity of the hotel, multiple time I’ve to wait between 15 to 25 minutes to catch it. The bathtub is extremely slippery. As a young people, we often slip. I can't imagine how dangerous it must be for an elderly or disabled person. During the weekends there are many activities on the Gran Ave so sleeping is difficult between the police and ambulance sirens. Honestly I don’t recommend this hotel specially if you are traveling with kids.

Excelente ubicación, se encuentra a la par de una estación de metro y varias cercanas. La habitación es comoda y amplia, uno de los pocos hoteles que cuentan con habitaciones familiares. La limpieza siempre excelente, algunas partes necesitan remodelación pero no causa inconvenientes. El staff del restaurante es muy amable y atento, asi como en recepción.

Mi estancia en este hotel fue extremadamente decepcionante. Los problemas con el aire acondicionado, la falta de mantenimiento y el servicio al cliente deficiente hicieron que mi visita a Madrid fuera incómoda y estresante. **Aire acondicionado defectuoso**: - No funcionaba en la habitación original - Tampoco funcionaba en la segunda habitación asignada - Tuve que conformarme con dos ventiladores, lo cual fue insuficiente **Servicio al cliente pobre** - La recepcionista fue antipática - No se ofrecieron disculpas por los inconvenientes - No hubo intento de compensación o solución adecuada **Instalaciones en mal estado** - Mantenimiento precario en general - Instalaciones muy antiguas y descuidadas No recomiendo este hotel a nadie que planee pasar varios días en Madrid. La falta de comodidades básicas como aire acondicionado funcional, combinada con un servicio al cliente deficiente, hace que la estancia sea desagradable. Hay mejores opciones disponibles en la ciudad para los viajeros.

The location is excellent on the Gran Via: Metro is right outside as well as the hop-on hop-off bus stop (across the street. Lots of outdoor dining options next to the hotel. Hotel room amenities were minimal: only hotel that did not have a coffeemaker or mini fridge in the room. The breakfast was very good at a good price. Staff was very good.

I loved my stay. The Hotel is located right at the center of the City of Madrid, making it super easy to walk around to local restaurants and shops. I would definitely recommend staying here. I would stay here again.

This is a good hotel, but I was expecting more of it. I don't know if is the way they did, but the room floor have the impression that is always dirty. There's no rug. And the other thing is that the washbasin has a mirror door that has the water faucet inside and when you open it to wash your hands or mouth you need to hold it with one hand because doesn't stay open. I did a mess with the open water faucet twice. Apart from that, it is a great hotel, specially the breakfast buffet.

Excelente ubicacion pero demasiado ruido de la calle más por una construcción al lado.

La entrada no es segura porque no requiere la llave para subir a las habitaciones. La habitación y la cama son muy pequeñas y cuando van con el carro de limpieza en el pasillo es muy ruidoso porque no tiene alfombra y te despierta a las 7:00 AM El personal del desayuno es amable y el desayuno es variado.

Great location on Gran Via. Right next to metro station Gran Via. Walkable distance to Plaza Sol, Callao en other attractions. Breakfast menu good; fruits, juices, coffee, yogurt, meats, bread variety, cheeses, and scrambled eggs.
