False advertisement
The facilities available as posted online is nothing compared to reality on the ground. I booked and paid for a standard room with AC, bathtub, LED Tv, a good size room etc. but the tiny room I was given had none of the above, not even an AC. So I asked if this was their standard room and the answer was no. The explanation was that the price on hotels.com is too low so they can’t offer me the standard room even though that’s what is posted online. So basically this is a bait to fill the most basic room at the facility. Don’t expect to be given what you book on here - Faldo advertisement
Ver calm quiet area peaceful and serene
I was charged twice the hotel rates by Expedia. There was no breakfast. The bar did not operate. The front desk never picked up calls. The TV had no functioning channels.
worse hotel experience ever.
It was very bad, Room rate was too high compared to what I was offered, I wouldn’t pay 10$ for such a place
Staff was very friendly. And addressed all my concerns
Average hotrl
Average in all ramifications. The hotel is under staffed. Same Idrisu working 24hrs in reception, room service and security.
Terrible service from owners
I didn't know this hotel was so far from the beach. The front-of-desk staff, security, cleaners and cooks do an amazing job. It's the owners of this hotel who are just rude and don't explain things properly.
get what you pay for. nice for the price
Well kept, but small room and no air conditioning. The staff is a bit unorganized, but overall a bargain for the price.
Cape Coast Hotel
The hotel is away but close to the hustle and bustle of the town. The staff was very helpful We need a cab and the young man working that morning called a very reliable cab driver. He drove us all around the different sights. The breakfast was good and it came quickly.
OK hotel.
Value for money. Outside of the hotel was nice but the room was very basic. It needs redecorating.
Relaxing place.
Nice and quiet place to stay, away from the traffic noise. Staff was very attentive and helpful, food was great. I definitely would book again!!!
Nice quiet place, out of the way.
Nice place all around. Quiet and clean and basically helpful
Change of bedding
The room was cleaned on a daily basis, but the bedding was not changed during our stay. I did not and should not have needed to ask for this to be done.
Hotel was kept well and everything seemed to be in good order. I had minor problems as in getting a message saying they had no room for me after I booked through expedia, which I was able to correct. Also when I showed up for check in, my room was still occupied. Other than these things, it was a pleasant experience.
Family run and friendly!
This family owned and run establishment is set atop a hill in a lush green forested area. It's a bit out of the way from the touristy areas (10 minute drive) which is a BIG PLUS for me. Jojo (the eldest son) spent much of the evening sharing insights with us about the area and the history of the hotel. It was a really lovely and relaxing stay. Special thanks to the other staff who made the trip so pleasant - Charles and Lucy (and the rest!). It's well sign-posted from the main Cape Coast Road, so despite its off-the-main-track location, an easy find. Breakfasts were simple and delicious. Wifi isn't an amenity in the district at all, so they provide small routers for each guest. If you're hoping for lightening fast downloads, you won't get that here (or anywhere else in the region until you reach Accra or Kumasi). Highly recommended!
Etwas außerhalb, aber dafür sehr ruhig gelegen. Ich habe im Restaurant sehr gut ghanaisch gegessen .
