This hotel was a great location! Lots of places to walk to. Hotel was cute. Beds and bathroom were very small. One thing that was a little frustrating was the elevator was very small and floor 3 the floor we stayed on..was broken so we had to take the elevator to the 4th floor and walk down the stairs to the 3rd floor. Not super convenient when traveling with heavy luggage.

Good location. Ok amenities- no lotion or shampoo. There is a fridge. The room appears to have been updated by Paul just painting over the rust/bad spots. But, sufficient for the one night we spent here.

AC doesnt work 5 nights. First day complained. Told to leave key in during the day and close curtains. Second day told someone would fix the next day. Third day told it was cold outside in the morning so couldnt fix. 4th day they offered a free bottle of wine. We slept with the windows open for 5 days. Apparently this is the last room on central system and doesn't get cool. You can tell by reception response this is an ongoing problem not likely to be fixed anytime soon. Was no able to get a dofferrnt room. It was 90 degrees for 5 days. Asked for partial refund no response. Basically you are taking a huge risk renting from them. I dont think it will be fixed anytime soon.

The room was spacious and very well located but it has some items in Bad condition like the kitchen outlet and in general the kitchen was in Bad condition. I consider this property overpriced.

Just be really careful in the hotel since the security is not tight. I understand we should have paid more attention on our things but unexpectedly, my handbag got stolen while checking-in and when we asked about the security cameras, one is not working and the other one only records every 10 seconds of movement so the time the bag was stolen wasn’t recorded.

Absolutely excellent location! Super helpful staff who gave great recommendations on where to eat. The room was comfortable for a family of four. Shower is one of those small corner showers that you see through Europe…that was unfortunate. Beds were very comfy and air conditioner worked great and was very refreshing after a day of sightseeing in the hot sun.

It’s a beautiful local hotel. Clean cute and very safe. Luv the interiors. Close to everything and if ur into shopping u will definitely like the area.

Hotel room was supposed to have two bathrooms as per booking but only had one, which made our stay very inconvenient, stressful and resulted in loss of time. The room was extremely small, and did not have a closet. Air conditioning didn’t work well. Shower drain was clogged. Don’t recommend this hotel.

This hotel was very cute and perfectly located by main tourist areas like la pedrera and casa batlo. Very clean and modern hotel.

The stay was perfect. From our patio we could see Casa Mila. The place was perfectly located to get all around Barcelona and would definitely start again.

We were fortunate to get the attic room which was top floor and had views of the Pedrera. Unbelievable value for what we paid. Room was massive and clean. It’s central to everything as well. I would be careful with young children as the windows in our room opened completely and there’s no flyscreen or fall protection. Also it was pretty warm in our room which was fine for winter but I would be nervous staying there in the warmer months. We will return to Barcelona and will definitely stay there again.

This hotel is pretty close to major tourist attractions, has great staff (such as Marcelo) who give recommendations if you need help getting around or finding places to eat, and is close to many high-end stores and local boutiques.

The air conditioning did not work. We noticed the front staff immediately after checking in. They said they would have someone look at it, however it never got fixed. It was a hot, muggy night and my family was uncomfortable.

air conditioner broke, no phone to contact the recepcion. No Closet, very very small room. They didn’t make the room and when we asked why, they said we have a sign, do not disturb, IT WAS NOT TRUE. The Staf didn’t care about our complain about the aire conditioner WASN’T WORKING.

Really great hotel. Very nice nice rooms. The entrance from the street is very unassuming. Unfortunately the reception desk area was being renovated whilst we were there so we didn't really see the true hotel. Note that the elevator is very small - too small for four people and four cases, not a big deal though, we just did two trips. The hotel is in a REALLY great location, easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and the main sights.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The room was as described and was perfect for our family with 2 children (6 and 9). It is in a great location and is walking distances to shops and restaurants and also close to the hop on and hop off bus tour stop. Staff was friendly and made sure our stay was enjoyable. We did not spend a lot of time in the room as we were only in the city for 2 nights and spent the majority of our time touring.

Baking in Barcelona

This was my first visit to Barcelona but our trip turned sour after baking all night without any air circulation. It was unbearable and we repeatedly told the front desk and they did nothing. The following morning they called the AC technician to fix it and he stayed in our room all day when we were out and still couldn't fix it. He blew all the dust from the vent all around the room, and a lot got on our opened luggage. We booked a family room that sleeps 4. The second day they offered a room which was warm and they said it will cool down later(the same thing they had told us about our existing room) but we had no energy or trust in them because of all of the back and forth we already had went through. We had flown 15hrs before reaching this hotel and our stay was absolutely miserable.We deserve to be compensated for this horrible stay.

The A/C did not work! We told the staff and he just gave us a fan. He said maintenance would go fix it, but they never did. He said he didn't have any other rooms available, but wouldn't say why. It was the middle of July and we had young kids with us. Very hot and inconvenient. We slept with the windows open, but didn't get much sleep because the traffic outside was loud and mosquitoes came inside. WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN!

Great location… but AC didn’t work well, fridge not cold, table leg broke

Our family stayed in the hotel 2 nights in June.The hotel is located at one of the most convinient locations. The room condition is fair. One thing bothers us is the A/C in the room, it was not working at all. We were told they fixed it but still same condition before we checked out. Not recommended in summer.

Kudos to the staff for switching our room when a water leak to the below floor was discovered. The substitute room was spacious and clean. Broken bathroom door had been wrapped in adhesive but definitely in need of replacement

Hotel Limonaia - Barcelona - Work and Play - Feb.

They hotel was very helpful with our stay. The hotel did a great job communicating with use prior to our stay. Great location. Was able to do some general shopping in the area for small things we needed during our stay. Close enough but not too close for the touristy stuff. I booked two rooms for the week. My room had the enclosed balcony which was cool. Nice private outdoor area on the second floor to enjoy reading and enjoying goodies from the local bakeries. If you are used to city adventures on a reasonable budget, you should enjoy your stay here.

Very clean , simple room. Excellent location just off main road near shopping and restaurants. Staff helpful and friendly. The room is simple just beds but there is a common space for sitting and a outside balcony for lounging. Would stay again and recommend to others. Nice and clean , tile floors. Very good.

This place is less of a boutique hotel and more of a glorified hostel. The best thing it has going for it is the location. Staff was fine but barely spoke to us or even looked up when we passed them. One morning there was no hot water. The staff didn’t really apologize but said they’d call a technician. It was clean but fairly run-down.

We enjoyed our two night stay. The front desk was helpful with securing our belongings for our early arrival. Safia was exceptional with always being courteous and providing any information needed. We were a group of ten and the rooms were comfortable but rooms of had issues with the television not working and one room AC not working properly . We got 60 bucks back for the inconvenience which not sure if my group was content with that considering we spent a lot for our two night stay .

You could see Casa Mila From Your Window

We got a room overlooking the rear side of Casa Milla. It is quite nice view from the hotel room, looking at the small terrace outside. There won't be any staff available overnight or early morning. So if you have to check out early, you need to call a number to make sure you have check out. The hotel is closer to the Diagonal subway station. The hop off hop on tour bus also has a stop closer to the hotel. There are quite a number of cafes and restaurants in the area.

Excellent small hotel for a short Barcelona break, great location at the top of Passeg Di Gracia, walkable to all the attractions and out of the night time noise of Las Ramblas.

We really enjoyed our stay! Our room had 4 single beds and a balcony. They also provide a nespresso machine ! The area was great, one block away from their “5th avenue” equivalent haha. Walking distance to la sagrada familia as well.

Nice hotel in excellent location. Metro is 100 yards away. All the high end stores are around the corner along with 2 of Gaudi’s famous buildings. My only complaint is that the room (#33) was much smaller than advertised.

It worked out great for us. Conveniently for us they have extended hours and are located extremely close to metro lines L3 and L4 which take you everywhere in the city. We could see the Pedrera Chimneys from our 4th floor window. Buffet is good for the price. Clean, comfortable, friendly staff. I will stay here again and highly recommended it.

Great location. Amenities were good. I had a room with ample space that looked onto the street with a small balcony which I always like. Facilities were minimal but I wasn’t in Barcelona to be in my room! I didn’t have breakfast at the attached cafe, I went around the corner to an amazing bakery.

Didn’t like the setup of wash basin in apt bathroom! Too small with faucet the length of sink & can’t lower face in sink to wash up😌 however, excellent location!!
