Amazing hotel, amazing staff, would certainly come back!

This botique hotel is a great place to stay - it's convenient to both the train station and the sights of Innsbruck, staff are friendly and the rooms are spacious and light, with nice decor and coffee/tea making facilities. The only thing missing that didnt affect us too much was a fridge. Our family suite was in the eves - 2brm, 2 bathrooms with separate toilets and a lovely view. Would highly recommend.

Loved the hotel. Very friendly staff, great breakfast, room was super clean, wonderful view to the mountains, confortable beds. Room is dark and quiet at night. All good, I would stay there if I go back to Innsbruck.

Absolutely fantastic accommodation, heaps of room for a family of 4 with adjoining rooms. On arrival we were given a city card to use on transportation around Innsbruck at no extra charge. Breakfast was included and beautiful meals. Staff very friendly. The only downside is it was advertised with Laundry on WOTIF but it only has Laundry facilities such as staff will clean for a fee per item.

The property is at a good location close to the station.

Great hotel with good facilities

From start to finish this hotel was excellent. The check in prior to arrival saved loads of time. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful during our whole visit. The room was lovely and roomy enough for 2 people. The bathroom was spotless. The shower was great with a choice of shower heads. Tea and coffee making equipment was available. The safe was FOC. Beds were made daily and the room was kept very clean. We needed a hairdryer and this was brought to us immediately. The only thing I could say about the room was it was a bit hot and with the window open was a bit noisy as it backed on to the main road - but we didn’t find it too much of a problem. The hotel supplied complimentary team passes for the duration of our stay which was great as the tram stop was just outside the hotel. Although we didn’t use the spa area this looked fab and was very new, clean and the views were to die for. The breakfasts were lovely with loads to choose from. Omelettes, eggs and other hot food was cooked fresh. If I went to Innsbruck again I would definitely stay in this hotel.

Great stay

Nice and clean hotel. Overall stay was fantastic. Only feedback is on the very narrow entrances into the hotel carpark.

Great room, and easy parking.

Pleasantly surprised with this hotel. It appears to be old and rustic but that is not the case. The rooms are clean and comfortable and bathroom was very clean. Staff were extremely helpful as well. Breakfast was above average and had everything that we required to start our day

Innsbruck is a small town that is very cute. This hotel is conveniently located.

Best breakfast

This hotel is in a lovely location on the border of Rapoldi Park which is one of the loveliest little parks I've seen. Also sits on the tramroute which is a mere three stops to the main station. 15 minute walk if you're feeling inergetic. Even though the trams were running outside, you could barely hear them due to the great windows. Breakfasts in Germany and Austria are very different to what those from GB, US or Australia are used to however the Leipziger offered numerous a la carte options, including bacon, eggs, pancakes etc as well as the bountiful buffet. A great surprise.

This was one of my favorite hotels. Cozy, staff was amazing, spa area fantastic, room was spacious, no carpet, wood floors the best and sanitary.

Best Hotel in Innsbruck

I really don’t know where to begin on my review of this amazing hotel. We stayed for 5 nights in December, hoping to experience the Christmas Markets and some snow. The weather wasn’t kind to us but this didn’t ruin our trip. The hotel was a short walk from the Main Train Station and a welcome sight to end our journey. Check in was easy and quick. The hotel reception was beautiful. A Typical Tyrollean feel to it. Our room was wonderful. Just on the first floor, we took the handy lift with our luggage. It was a spacious beautifully decorated room, with air con and a lovely big window which we preferred to have open a little for fresh air - even though it was freezing outside! The bathroom was amazing- massive shower, very modern. All in all, everything we needed - including tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was included in our booking. To be honest it was one of the loveliest breakfasts we have had in Europe. A great selection of hot and cold food, hot drinks and an amazing fresh orange juice machine. We could have stayed in the breakfast room all day. The service was really quick, all the staff were really attentive and the food was delicious. All in all this hotel was amazing. Well managed, well maintained and it had a ‘family run’ feel about it, which is lost on most of the larger hotels around. We would not hesitate to stay here again. We were sorry to leave. Excellence in Innsbruck

Our stay in Innsbruck was part of an extended road trip throughout Austria and I'll go as far as to say this was by far our favourite hotel. Exceptional service from Joseph and the entire team. Amazing corner room with A/C and modern bathroom facilities. Excellent breakfast with extensive options and warm friendly service. A short walk from town and lots of advice on where to go and what to do. Absolutely spot on in all regards.

We stayed for 4 nights with a 7 month old baby in the family room. Great facilities, great breakfast and friendly, helpful staff! Would definitely recommend and come back here whenever we're back in Innsbruck

Nice place with extras

Nice hotel, spacious rooms, good location. Actually had a refrigerator, which is different for Europe. And Actually had air conditioning witch is also unusual.

This is the best place you can stay. I have stayed many places all over the world. This place gives you first class service. I have never had better service. They set a hole new standard. They are located across from a beautiful park. A quick walk to the bus and tram. If you don’t want to take the bus you can walk quickly to the shopping areas.

A brief but wonderful stay. Hotel is a mid-size, picture postcard South Tyrolean exterior and interior, so perfect atmosphere for a stay in Innsbruck. Check in was welcoming, professional and quick. Room was spacious, clean, quiet and modern. Hotel just a 10 minute walk from center of town. Breakfast included, with high quality meats, cheeses, jams, yogurt, and bread (including a delicious gluten free bread!), and a truly extensive series of hot dish options. Would definitely stay again.

A very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Hotel staff are very friendly and approachable and very willing to assist. Nice selection of hot and cold offerings at breakfast. Hotel is located in a quiet part of the city however, only 5 mins walk from the city centre and approx 15 mins walk to the old town. Transportation links are also very good.

Easy walk to the Christmas markets

One of our 2 rooms was ready when we arrived early and we were allowed access without any hesitation by the friendly front desk gentleman. The double room was larger than the twin but this did not effect our stay as we spent most of the time out and about. Breakfast was served till 11 (12 at weekends) and was very good with the usual continental fayre but with eggs cooked to order - can highly recommend the omelette with chilli and tomato The orange juice was freshly squeezed in a machine and the Prosecco added a festive start to the day! The hotel was an easy stroll into town and the numerous Christmas markets or the no 2 tram stopped just outside. The hotel was clean and welcoming and we would definitely return. We also had a tasty filling and reasonably priced evening meal in the evening

Very satisfactory breakfast with made-to-order hot food items. Reception and restaurant staff is friendly and helpful. Housekeeping need to be more attentive though. They changed the bin bag, but left old bin bag (with trash inside) on the luggage rack. Also, the carpet behind the table and chairs by the windows dosen't seem to be vacuum-cleaned...

3 night city break

Stayed for 3 nights. Hotel room was very clean & spacious. Hotel staff were all very friendly and efficient. Buffet breakfast was well prepared and had plenty of choice. Evening meal was outstanding and very good value. Was in easy walking distance of the town centre and overlooked a park.

Great hotel with huge family room!

Lovely hotel - had massive adjoining rooms on top floor. Great views and very comfortable. Nice little Sauna and a good breakfast. About 10 mins walk to centre of Innsbruck. My only small grumble was that the €14 a night parking charge was hidden in the small print when the front page said free parking (but this apparently refers to the street). We only stayed 2 nights so not a major issue for us but could be for others.

Having paid in advance it was disappointing to be told on arrival the restaurant was closed for repairs all week. Staff were however very friendly and helpful

Lovely hotel with adequate sized rooms and spacious clean bathroom. No frig, but has a safe. Wonderful hotel restaurant with great food. Breakfast is cold buffet and made to order hot items. Something for everyone. Good location, away from busy area. About a 15 min walk to old town on a flat surface or you can take the tram which passes by the hotel.

I stayed in Leipziger Hof with my family for 4 nights in Innsbruck in June 2019. The hotel location is superb -- it is at a 2-minute walk from the public transport and has a huge park next to it. Also, it is very close to the city center and the railway station. The rooms were clean, though the toilets don't have exhaust and they're mostly smelly. The biggest problem with this hotel is air conditioning. I had two rooms in the hotel -- and I could make out that the hotel controls the air conditioning temperature from the back-end -- it really doesn't matter what setting you choose in your remote. Also, as a cost saving tactic, the hotel turns off air conditioners after every 2-3 hours. This is very irritating during the night time, since you'll always wake up in the middle of the night sweating under the covers. Also, the hotel remotely switches all the air conditioners to fan-only mode during the night (around 0100 HRS) and finally turns them off remotely around 0300 HRS. Due to this reason alone, I'd recommend not booking this hotel in summers.

Very nice

Stayed for three nights, cannot complain about anything. Service excellent, breakfast really good. Sauna also very pleasant and clean.

A nice hotel...........................................

The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood about 15 minutes from Innsbruck Hbf on foot. The room was clean but very basic with a typical European tiny shower stall in the bathroom. The breakfast buffet was adequate but not outstanding.

Large comfortable room and fabulous breakfast. Be sure to make plans to enjoy the restaurant, they do a terrific job.

PERFECT IN EVERY WAY!

The location was excellent, less than a 5 minute walk across the park to the Tram #3 that takes you to the train station with only one stop between. Tram #3 also takes you to the old town. We stayed 3 nights and we had dinner at the restaurant each night. Excellent food at a good price. The hotel was super clean. Our Room #314 was a double room with lots of space, a large desk, very comfortable bed and pillows. Large safe. Loved the large bathroom, glass shelf over double sinks, large shelf in window, large fluffy towels. Excellent breakfast starts at 6:30 am for continental, 7:00 am for cooked menu items. Fresh squeezed oj, sliced cantelope, grapes, yogurt, ham, assorted cheeses, breads & Danish. This would be my first choice if staying in Innsbruck again.

Hotel was great location and nice sized room. Had to pay to park in hotel car park but knew that when booked. Breakfast was good and plenty of choice. Great city to visit and would like to go back in the winter :)

Very good hotel

We stayed for two nights and wish we could have stayed longer . The breakfast was very good and the evening meal we had was first class made even better with Natalie our waitress. Easy short walk into Innsbruck centre and station

Clean and comfortable

Stayed just the one night, it was clean and comfortable and met my expectations. I did feel the staff could have perhaps been a little more welcoming. I kind of felt like I was being a hinderance checking in and asking them questions. I also made use of the sauna on the 5th floor - the hotel was very quiet so I felt like I had it to myself which was great. my only comment here is that I think the hotel should provide free water, instead there is a fridge that you can buy bottled water from. It's important to stay hydrated when using a sauna and I think charging for water is a bit cheeky.

Lovely breakfast

We stayed here for 2 nights, but would definitely recommend staying longer. The hotel staff were all friendly and many spoke good English. The reception staff were particularly helpful and friendly. The information in the room also had an English translation which was very helpful and thoughtful. We had a room with a table. It was a spacious room with a large, comfortable bed, a TV, en suite and most importantly air conditioning which we highly appreciated. Breakfast was amazing, with lots of choice of breads, cheese, meat, yoghurt, fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice, cakes etc. Plus you can order something freshly cooked. The hotel is only a 10/15 minute walk from the centre of Innsbruck and has a small park at the front. We would recommend anyone staying in this hotel.

A perfect hotel and only 10 minutes from old town Innsbruck. Reasonably priced without having to pay for a hotel in the old quarter. Would definitely recommend

Loved it!

Great hotel to stay at that exceeded my expectations! We got the triple room and it was everything we wanted and more! My friends even complimented what a good choice in hotel I made for them. Very friendly staff and clean hotel! The entrance to the parking lot was very narrow, but we had no problems! We had breakfast in the morning which included prosecco and hard boiled eggs! Much more than I expected for a continental type breakfast! I would definitely stay here again! It’s a very short walk to the city and shockingly we had the craziest night out in Innsbruck and even saw the reveptionist out after his shift! Great city and hotel! :) Stay here!

Excellent hotel at good location

Fantastic Hotel

Best hotel I have stayed at for years. Close enough to the old town but away from the noise. Opposite a park and very quiet. Breakfast was so good, freshly squeezed orange juice and eggs to order plus rolls, pastries, muesli, fresh fruit everything. Hotel staff could not do more for us and were so nice.

Excellent room for families

The triple room ended up with it being two separate rooms. Large, clean, comfortable.

Good location, good room for 4. Really wonderful breakfast, fresh eggs prepared any style, fresh orange juice. The only thing that I did not like was the parking entrance. I would not say that it is a 4 star hotel but I would definitely come back.

Difficult to access

Major roadworks in the block around the hotel at the moment make access very difficult- particularly if you are arriving by car. Apart from this, stay was pleasant enough. Lady at breakfast was a delight.

Good hotel, excellent staff, wonderful breakfast!

Really wonderful breakfast with fresh orange juice! Just put the oranges in the machine and press the button! Good room, excellent staff! The only thing that has to be improved is the air conditioning. Even in maximum speed wasn't enough to cool the room. If it wasn't for this, I would rate it at 5!

Only an overnight stay, but we will definitely visit again. The staff went above and beyond when my daughter had an "issue". The restaurant and bar were great too. Thanks to all the staff.

Ski Tyrol with the family

Our first time to Innsbruck, and we loved Hotel Liepzinger Hoff. The staff was courteous and helpful. Breakfast was a highlight featuring fresh fruits, grains, made-to-order eggs, and a juicing machine which the kids loved! Location was an easy 10 minute walk to the historic city center and train station. The front desk ensured that we connected with the ski shuttles on our first day by providing a last-minute ride to the rental shop, and requesting a quick turn-around for us. The attached restaurant was very good, rooms were clean and comfortable.

Like being home

This the second time I have stayed at this hotel and it has been a excellent again. From the location to the friendly and helpful staff, to the comfortable bed, and the sumptuous breakfast it maintained a very high standard. Wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else.

Good overnight

The hotel seems recently renovated and the room was nice, big enough with table and desk area Problem was noise and was partly our fault. It was hot so we wanted cool mountain air, but the room was on the street We eventually used the AC and closed windows which cooled the room and control the sounds. Hotel breakfast was quite nice All one hope for in central Europe but additional offer several cooked items Parking is available directly in the rear for a fee but a narrow car is best We felt walk to center was quite easy

Costs you a parking ticket.

Parking is limited. We got a parking ticket parking in an area (near the park) with no indication that we were parked illegally. The hotel has to know this but didn't warn us.

Best night sleep of our trip

What a beautiful hotel! Super nice bed linens, quiet room, restaurant was fabulous for supper and breakfast. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Convenient & Very Accommodating

The staff was extremely helpful and attentive. The location was great. Breakfast wonderful. We parked right across the street by the parked and walked around to the Train Station and to old downtown. Couldn't ask for better. Great price and value!

It was an excellent stay

This hotel was excellent value for the money. It is a 10 minute or so walk to the main downtown area, the included breakfast buffet was great, and the hotel has free wifi.

Nice hotel but on the wrong side of the railway.

Overall very good hotel with clean comfortable rooms and good breakfast. The hotel restaurant food is great. It's within walking distance of the railway station even with suitcases to drag. A bit too far too walk to the tourist attractions in the old town and the funicular station though as it is on the wrong side of the railway station which one has to walk around to get to the attractions. Fortunately there is a bus and tram stop just a short walk from the hotel with buses that will bring you in to town.

Nice hotel in the heart of Innsbruck

II was lucky to find the Leipziger Hof hotel through Expedia. It was my first business trip to Innsbruck and I spent 6 wonderful days in this hotel. Situated in very quite street, yet close to City center and convenient transportation and spectacular view of the Alps. The hotel personnel are very professional , friendly and helpful. The menu in the restaurant is excellent and the hotel offer a delicious variety on the breakfast menu.

Extremely recommended!!!

It was extremely homely and the warm, efficient service provided was essential for the icy cold weather. Although a little far away from the train station, it is very convenient for ski travelers.

One night in Innsbruck

We spent a night here to break a journey from Munich to Kitzbuhel. Consequently we looked for a hotel that was central and handy for the rail station. We found the hotel comfortable and perhaps a 10-15 min walk to the Old Town. Reception and other staff were helpful. Unfortunately we were unable to stay longer but would use again if visiting the city.

It was nice hotel and the stuff are very polite . The only thing is that the room needed an air conditioner. The tram is 2 min walking.

Innsbruck family holiday.

We had 5 very comfortable nights' Hotel is ideally situated close enough to the centre but away from central noise. If your not able to walk the 10 mins into the centre, the tram stop is adjacent to hotel. If travelling by train the hotel is only 2 minutes walk from station, if flying the airport is the the other side of Innsbruck so would need motor vehicle to transport to and from. The Hotel charge 12 euros a night to park car via a very tight entry to secure car park. For us the cable car moutain walk was excellent and reasonable price, the Ski jump was also an interesting visit with excellent food at the view restaurant. We loved it with the final compliment to the hotel in providng the perfect family room as our boys are now 12 and 14, we had a central lobby before spliting into two same sized bedrooms both with own ensuites. Its a shame many other hotels around the world do not offer the same privacy and size instaed of just adding spare beds into the same room usually already cramped, for u this was a major + and other holiday families would benefit from all ages using these 8 - 10 rooms they had like this.

Nice hotel

The hotel is at a walking distance from the main station and the old city. It was a comfortable stay. Great buffet breakfast. And a sauna you are free to use in the evenings. The only minus was that our room faced the main road and since it was hot we had to keep the windows open, so the noise from the trams and early morning cleaning trucks was a constant disturbance.

Very good hotel with great service

very good room and great service with a convenient location. Tram and bus stations are close by. Golden Dachi is a just a 15 min walk. Hotel serves a hot breakfast which is excellent. Sillpark mall is a 5 minute walk and has some great deals.

Excellent Hotel

This is a great hotel in a great location, just a 20 minute walk to the city centre and 15 to the train station. There is a very nice park across the street from the hotel and just beyond that over the canal is a fare size shopping centre. The breakfast was excellent with not only buffet items but also a menu with approx 10 items which you can order from the kitchen. The friendly staff provided us with as much info as you would get from the tourist info centre. There is also free tea and coffee available after breakfast is over. Rooms are modern and spacious. Would definitely stay here again.
