Modern nice room - the value here was phenomenal - Amazing for the price - nice lobby kitchen area - I Didn’t use the gym - lots of nice baked goods bagels/croissants for continental breakfast - My only complaint is I did hear doors opening and closing in the morning - I find this with most hotels however

Super easy check in, beautiful hotel, very modern. Big spacious rooms. Hotel is close to everything and I’m walking distance from a few restaurants. Over all 10/10 stay. I would recommend and would book with them again!!

The only thing we would have add, is maybe a bottle of water in the fridge, and the soap in the shower smells weird. ahah

Kind staff, clean room and property, loved our room.

Our room was clean and was ready for early check-in. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The location is great, as it’s just steps away from the Convention centre. It’s close to the Notre Dame Basilica, as well as the Eaton Centre. The intercontinental breakfast was good too.

The hotel experience was great. The rooms were very clean and modern. The value to dollars spent is fantastic. The continental breakfast had a nice variety of options and was tasty. The only "downside" - and I'm nitpicking here - was a lack of restaurants in the immediate area open for lunch. There are a few places nearby that do open later in the afternoon. I don't think that is the responsibility of the hotel, just be aware you'll have to walk 10 minutes or so up to Rue Sainte-Catherine for a meal. I'm in Montreal a few times a year, I'm going to be a regular at this hotel.

Great place to stay

Check in was quick friendly and easy. The suggested parking is under the congress centre very easy and I believe it was 30 dollars per day. The hotel itself is bright and clean and the rooms are modern and nice with a good shower stall sitting area and beds and pillows were comfortable. Staff were always smiling and approachable so it is a great place to stay. Close enough to everything Bell Centre St. Catherines St and old Montreal. The only other thing that would have made it better (but not a deal breaker for sure) would be a lounge/bar on the premises although lots of places within walking distance.

Convenient location

I've stayed in hotels an awful lot over the past 30 years and I cannot exaggerate how much I loved this hotel. At every turn, I was pleasantly surprised: superfast check-in, reasonably priced snacks, Fitness Centre open until 11, elevators only work with room keys for security, every part of the building I visited was absolutely immaculate: everything looks and feels new, I only stayed one night but the hotel was DEAD quiet which is extremely hard to find (including the HVAC which is whisper quiet and is placed over the door so it does not blow right on you while operating), ULTRA comfy bed with beautiful pillow menu, very nicely styled room, excellent TV, no WiFi portal, just Open network, simple but nice breakfast, soft soothing music in the dining room; the vibe made me want to just hang out there for a while. Location is obviously fantastic, just a few blocks' walk to the heart of Old Montreal and Metro (subway) right nearby. I wish so much I would've discovered this place many visits ago, but better late than never. Totally Impressive!

Fantastic property. The rooms are clean and quite spacious. The walking distance to the notre Dame Cathedral is about 10 minutes, close to shopping and dining, breakfast was simple yet effective with many options to choose from for a quick eat. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for affordability in the city.

Loved this hotel. From the moment we arrived check in was super easy and smooth, the room was beautiful and comfy! Dyson hair dryer and the Mac desktop was a nice fancy touch! Shower was spacious with very good water pressure and heat. Hotel is close to old Montreal with lots of pretty places to walk and eat and is a 2 minute walk from the subway so very easy to get around deeper into the city !

This hotel is sneaky great. It doesn’t seem impressive when you walk into the lobby. But the rooms are modern and very large and well designed. The shower is nice and big. The free continental breakfast is generous with a lot of options and espresso machine. Location is central to walk 10 minutes to Old Montreal or Downtown or St. Catherine Street. Would recommend for couples or families.

The room was very spacious and modern. We loved the washroom and large shower. Plenty of light and windows. The hardwood floor were a welcomed change from regular dirty carpets. Continental breakfast was one of the best by far. We know where to stay next time.

Would definitely stay again

Overall a very good experience. The staff was great, the room was clean and quiet with nice finishes and amenities (although no hand lotion in the bathroom?). The only ding on the room was the view, which was the wall of the building next door. The continental breakfast had some of the best croissants we had in Montreal. One really nice detail: the hot drink dispenser is always available, so when you come in late and it’s freezing, you can grab a hot chocolate or some coffee. It was lovely!

This was our 2nd stay at Hotel Le Dauphin and will definitely back when we return to Montreal! Easy access to the metro and short walk to St. Catherines. Staff is always accommodating and very pleasant.

Highly recommend this accommodation! It is worth for the money you spend on. It is closer to so many sightseeing and restaurants. So many things to see in walkable distance. The breakfast is included and it was delicious too!

Nice hotel but no parking

Very friendly service, free breakfast and free internet. The hotel is just around the corner from the Place-d'Armes metro stop (which may also be accessed from the convention center literally steps from the hotel). Rooms are nicely furnished with thoughtful and functional furniture

The hotel was in a nice area, and honestly my review is at 2-star because front desk staff were nice. The breakfast isn’t big for those looking for a content breakfast. Our room was not cleaned up, the crew came late in the evening only to ask if we wanted new towels. The air conditioning/heating system was very stuffy, there’s no humidifier to make the room better. The room we got was small and most the space of the room was taken up by the bathroom. It seemed the bathroom space would be ideal for a accessibility user, but not the room space. So it kind of contrasted. The phone and Mac were not working. And tv had issues with connecting as a wireless display.

Located in the heart of downtown near the convention center and a short walk from the Old Port. Very quiet, clean, with a nice breakfast.

The two best parts about this property are the location and the vibe at breakfast. The dining hall is spacious with a healthy selection to get your day started off right. Ofc the bathroom, TV and other amenities are solid too but the location and breaky are what stands out. Staff is courteous and the 12pm checkout is a treat. Bed is super comfy. All in all we’ve stayed here more than once and will be back again.

I always enjoy my stay at this property! Everything is so clean and well maintained. I noticed my in room fridge was off when I checked in but was able to turn it on and give it time to cool so that I could store my temperature sensitive items in it. I'm assuming the previous guest shut it off by mistake. I wasn't too bothered by this and overall it was a great stay!

If you ever come to Montreal, seriously consider coming to this hotel. Not only the contemporary look of the lobby and breakfast lounge area which by the way includes an amazing breakfast selection with unlimited coffee, cappuccino, latte all day, but the sleek look of the rooms which are spacious, incredibly comfortable and a shower that needs a class to be used, but once you figure it out is a dream come true. In one word, absolutely fantastic. (Actually two words). Don’t miss out!

Good for one night.

The initial entry was not impressive. The front desk people were efficient and friendly enough. The view was a cement wall. The bed was very comfy and the room overall was nice enough, minus no fan in the bathroom or any sound blocking between bathroom and bed. Breakfast was very bread and pastry heavy.

Enjoyed our stay - very comfortable room - great breakfast - only downside was hard to see our things in the room as most furnishings were black. I also found the shower fitting awkward to operate. Staff very helpful. I would stay again.

There is iMac for guests to use in the room. Really impressed. Also, the parking at conventional Centre near the hotel about 2 minutes walk is safe and convenient.

Small and comfortable

I’ve often travelled to Montreal for both work and family and I’ve stayed at a number of different hotels. This one is very good value for the money - clean, comfortable bed, nice shower, decent sized rooms. The location was easily walkable from the train station and we found it easy to walk to different parts of the city and to also Uber farther out. We’ll definitely come back.

Wonderful property. The rooms were modern and comfy. The location was perfect. Within 5 minutes of the old city and chinatown, 10 minutes to Centre Eaton. Very walkable. Parking was at the convention center. No in and out but very safe and covered. Good daily rate. Not a single bad thing to say.

Great hotel!

Fatal flaw: the doors to rooms are not soundproofed so you're going to hear everything happening in the corridors. Pity because otherwise, hotel good. Sidenotes: too bad if you want tea in your room, there's only a coffee maker. Why no kettle? And breakfast is basic. Beware the "yoghurts" are not yoghurt but some kind of Frankenstein ultra processed food from Danone which I noted contained, and I copy and paste: Ingredients: Skim milk, trafitered skim mik and/or milk protein concentrate, Water, Sugars sugar, cranberry and blak carrot juice (for colour), Cream, Modified corn starch, Natural favour, Agar, Active bacterial cultures, Lemon juice concentrate, Vitamin D3. Made with vitamin D fortified skim milk. I didn't try it though.

I absolutely enjoyed my stay in Hotel Le Dauphin. The room condition was excellent, very modern and equipped with all the amenities you need. Additionally, I really enjoyed the free breakfast with delicious pastries and fresh fruit everyday. The cherry on top was the cozy throw blanket for just laying in the bed and watch tv while taking break before heading back to enjoy Montreal.

Great experience. Nice breakfast even it’s not that many options but it’s enough for a family with kid. Very convenient to walk around all the spots for a tourist. Would like stay here again next time.

What an unexpected treat! This boutique hotel is quite lovely - modern with all that one would expect plus a Dyson hairdryer (hardwired into the bathroom, of course). The front desk checkin, the breakfast, the rooms, the hotel location… all great and at a very affordable rate. We’d definitely stay here again
