To suggest that a queen room is suitable for 2 people is ridiculous. There is nowhere to put one suitcase, let alone 2. The bed has a dip in the middle, so both people just fall into the centre of the bed. The bathroom door has a gap all the way around, so there's no privacy. Luckily, we are a long standing couple and comfortable with each other's ablutions, but imagine if you were a new couple or just friends in a twin! The shower is a disaster. It's impossible to keep the bathroom floor dry, so the only solution to drying after a shower is to step out into the bedroom! Again, a disaster if you're not a couple. Other issues include the bar fridge being so tiny that it can't accommodate a 6 pack and a bottle of wine - not unreasonable for a two night stay. The ironing board is miniature, so no chance of ironing clothes properly, not that that is probably an issue because there's isn't sufficient space to erect a full size ironing board! Also, where are you supposed to hang dresses? Even men's shirts hang down into the tea and coffee making area. Oddly however, you need a step ladder to get into the bed, it's so high off the floor! I'd also like to highlight transport issues with the light rail, although this isn't the hotel's fault. If you're not familiar with Sydney, the light rail stations are impossible to find without local direction. There is literally NO directional signage in the streets and Google doesn't seem overly au fait.
Good value for money considering location, easy walk to Darling harbour and main shopping areas. Good transport links to circular quay also. Rooms quite small but not an issue as it’s a hotel room, not like you’ll be moving in! Would stay again for sure.
Thanks, lovely stay!!
Very friendly and helpful receptionist, easy check-in and great room.
A lovely property and well situated for access to Star Casino and Darling Harbour. Parking is very close but make sure you get good directions from the staff about how to get their special parking deal as it can be hard to find the Parking office. Highly recommend.
Totally destroyed my faith in humanity. Charged me for my room key which as I couldn't sleep I kept with me in case I re-entered room b4 checkout Rang me and chased me for approx 10c room key. Put fear into me for not returning room key
Nice mid budget for me, rooms are tight but just fine as as there is everything there and bath rooms are fine. Shame about having to put a $100 bond down but as long as that comes back in good time I’m happy.
Non existent hot water for shower. Was unhappy.
Rooms were small but efficient for our stay. They were uptodate with decor. Shower screens a little strange lol. You could see into bed. Shower screens could do with being blacked.out Staff really lovely. Enjoyed our stay. So close.to Datling harbour.
Location was good.
Great hotel in a convenient location to the convention centre.
I had such an awesome stay at Kith Hotel in Sydney! The room and bathroom were stocked with everything you could possibly need, which made the experience so easy and comfortable. My stay was a bit too short, unfortunately, but I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m in Sydney. The staff were so kind and friendly, which really made a difference, it felt like they genuinely cared about making my stay enjoyable. Everything about the hotel was just a pleasure, and I couldn’t have asked for more. Even though the hotel doesn’t have its own restaurant, the location is absolutely perfect. There are various great cafes and restaurants nearby, so it’s super easy to find something delicious.
Kith Hotel is great location, centrally located near Darling Harbor area, walking distance from many food, transportation and other attractions. Walking distance for the Sydney transportation wharf with easy access to anywhere in Sydney
Great
We booked this hotel for its accessible rooms & proximity to the International Convention Centre. Room was a decent size with a large bathroom & balcony. The bed was probably the comfiest hotel bed we’ve ever stayed in!! Very quiet area for Sydney CBD & easy walk to Darling Harbour & Light rail stop.
Clean and comfortable room, hotel is close to light rail and Darling Harbour.Staff friendly and very helpful, Good overnight stay but room too small for a vacation.
front desk lady was very nice
The room was exceptionally clean, check in was smooth and the staff were friendly and efficient. The room was small but perfectly adequate for an overnight stay. Sadly the bathroom provided very little privacy.
Wonderful little gem of a hotel for my business trip.
While the room is small it was spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed. And all the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The glass washroom walls do not Allow for too much privacy, room was small but bed very comfortable and AC worked great , highly recommend.
The place seems to have dodgy clientele based on the way I was treated - like a physical inspection of my room before I was allowed to check out. Thin walls but not a lot of street noise. Sink in the room is weird. Would not go back, but not horrible either.
great stay clean quiet
Great location to CBD, easy walk into the city. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would stay again
Small boutique hotel near ICC
Good location to the ICC for conventions and concerts. Had to a attend a conference and this hotel was at the perfect spot! Safe and neighbourhood had some food and cafes nearby. The staff should let the guest know going over to the multi storey carpark and take lift to level 1 ,for easier access to ICC and darling harbour. I like tv screen at the reception area where nearby cafes and eateries are featured. Room is small but expected due to high property costs . Rooms are spotless, neat. I do not like the glass to be placed where the clothes are. Breakage can happen. Also note that reception desk ends at 11 pm
Great location. Staff friendly and room was nice and clean.
Great statue. Thx
One of the main things to do is pay for parking on line before you book into the KITH HOTEL !! We got ripped off big time. $A120.00 for 36 hrs !( If we had known it was going to be that,as we were told , it was $60.00 for the $48 hours) we would have parked elsewhere !! Other than that it was enjoyable
Great and very comfortable stay. Would recommend
City stay
Small room and bathroom, but enough for one person. Balcony was lovely and big. Room serviced daily and all amenities refreshed.
So quiet and close To everything without being in the heart of the city. Worth it
Gigi was extremely helpful. She had a wonderful personality and a sense of humor. Anything we needed was attended to promptly. Other staff as well, but Gigi was our favorite!
It is a lovely small hotel, highly efficient, and very convenient to Darling Harbour and the light rail system (to the airport) Recommended
Lovely boutique hotel in a great location.
Great stay in the right place
Quite comfortable clean and convenient to ICC. Paid parking just across the road. Quite small room space, but very well set up.
Poor value for money
Poor service as silver member booking should come with wine, had to ask for it. First room toilet leaking would not flush, tv would not turn on, could not set the AC unit to heat mode. Reception decided to move me to a new room at 830pm not ideal when fly in at 6am and next day checking out at 530am
Space was small but enough, place is clean, convenient location. I did not rent a car and area very walkable. Near to L train station.
Good hotel
Great little hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Bed very very tall. i am 165cm and it was too tall to sit on. No where to put suitcase. Room not serviced after first night. When advised no compensation offered. Reported loose toilet seat that slid sideways when you sat down and pinched back of leg, enough to leave a bruise and it was not fixed during stay. Someone with poor reflexes would have ended up on the floor.
great position, short walk to local eateries
good....
Ticks all the boxes for the essentials. Small rooms but definitely sufficient. Beds a bit soft. Location is very convenient with convenience stores and breakfast cafes around
Very clean hotel with friendly staff. Rooms are small but very well designed. Great location.
Very close to Darling Harbour. Easy walk. Easy parking across the street under the Novotel. Very modern and lovely room. Comfortable bed
Well appointed, clean rooms with a very comfortable bed. Kith had friendly, helpful staff and was great value close to the City.
Cute little room that is suitable for business travel that requires just a room to freshen up and have a good rest. The beds were comfortable and the room was super clean.
The size was great for what we needed along with price. Staff were amazing and it was super close to concert venue.
This hotel was way better than I expected, based on the reviews I read before booking. I can’t speak for the other rooms, but I booked a single queen with a balcony for a very reasonable price, and it was perfect for my 9-day stay. The room design was rather compact, compared to what I am used to in the USA, but VERY efficient. It was very conceptual with mirror border lights, plenty of outlets on every wall (get an adapter if your devices have the American plugs), very modern European-style bathroom design, and plenty of space under the bed to place your luggage, shoes, etc. As for the staff, I cannot think of a single place where I’ve met a more kind and helpful team. Every person I met at the front desk was very attentive and always willing to offer advice on where to find things I needed (laundry service, local markets, transportation, etc.). All things considered, I felt like I got way more than what I paid for. I would absolutely recommend this place, whether you’re visiting for a couple of days or an extended time.
Perfect for an overnight stay
This was a last minute find for us, within walking distance of the Lyric theatre. The room was tiny but had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, the shower hard and hot and the front desk service was wonderful.
The property is well located & staff were lovely.
Place and room was very clean and cosy and was perfect for my needs to just sleep and rest.
Really enjoyed my stay
Great value. Great location.
Travelled solo. Stayed for 4 nights. Hotel was absolutely perfect. It's in a great location, walking distance to Darling Harbour, the city, restaurants, bars and public transport. Very clean, comfortable room with all mod cons. Staff were friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be staying again.
Great location, modern, clean, comfortable room
Hotel didn't appear to have a lot of staff (which is probably why their overall cost is low); however, because of this it wasn't possible to have an early check-in. Not even an hour earlier.
Great location, good price, nice staff. Would happily come back here to stay!
Very small, minimal room, but for someone who just wants a place to shower and sleep, it's perfect, and the price is very reasonale. Great convenient location too.
We really enjoyed our stay at Kith Hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel is modern and comfortable, and it’s in a great location. The reason I gave 4 stars is because my room wasn’t cleaned after our first night. After our second night, the room was cleaned, but the bed covers were just thrown over the bed. The bed wasn’t made properly, and the ‘fitted’ sheet (which was just a flat sheet covering the mattress) had come off the bed and was all crumpled. There was no effort to make the bed. I didn’t raise this with the hotel - I’m sure they would have gotten it fixed up straight away if I’d said something. Other than the housekeeping, the hotel was excellent and we would definitely stay here again!
Excellent hotel, great rooms.
Compact but modern, was fine for one nights stay, close to Darling Harbour a bonus and grocery store/bottle shop nearby
The staff was just so helpful an the rooms were so lovely also the location perfect thankyou
Nice but small room, quiet area but an unnecessary policy of exacting a security deposit and being unable to contact them over charging my card.
Friendly and helpful staff. I would highly recommend.
Great compact space, everything you need for a short-term stay. Nice little desk for working too
Room was clean and presentable, close to Darling Harbor
Space to limited in room The main lift was not working, had to use service lift. notices not clear
The room is a little smaller than I had thought. But was clean and tidy. The team service level was very good. Location is amazing, if you need to be near the ICC or Darling Harbour
I was totally satisfied , the staff was very polite and eager to please . I have already praised them to my friends and family
Really small room
The room was really small and could have used the space better. Nowhere to put a suitcase except on the bed. Air con was too hot and couldn’t adjust it. Told reception but no better the second night. Windows don’t open. Would have been nice to have a balcony room. Very convenient location to ICC where I was working for the weekend
Sorry that they had problems with hot water & electricity. The staff was fabulous.
3 days in Sydney
The location of the hotel is great. Easy walking distance to great areas. The service was great—we left an item in the room and the staff were very helpful in sending it forward to us. The room we had was small and the bathroom is pretty tight. I had no problem with the bed but my partner found it soso.
.
Close vicinity to Star Casino & Darling Harbour. Walk through multi storey carpark for light rail. Rooms are on the small side but comfortable
Great location
I love the vibe of the place. It’s a great place to stay for the price.
Great and good pricing for being in close to everything
The Kith Hotel is an excellent lodging option for those wanting to be close to the Sydney CBD and the Darling Harbour neighbourhood. You can easily walk to the Pyrmont Bridge that will take you across to the Sydney CBD and the Darling Harbour is within easy walking distance as well with it's shops. restaurants, and other attractions. The Light Rail is also within walking distance (via going through the car park across the street) that can also take you to the Sydney CBD, Chinatown, and other connecting transit lines, including the Central Station. The rooms itself are quite "cozy", but they are very clean and it's good if you're only looking for a place to rest and sleep from your Sydney adventure. Highly recommended for those needing a place to stay in Sydney.
Staff were really friendly, check in was simple and place was clean/tidy.
Quiet hotel in perfect proximity to Darling Harbour where I was attending a work function. small rooms but perfectly designed.
Room was tiny with a closet for a bathroom, and was fairly pricey. The only place to put luggage was under the bed. There was no one at the front desk even at times where it was supposed to be staffed. There was no assistance available to call taxis for the airport etc.
Comfortable, good area, close to pub, shops.
Affordable, conventionally located & a safe neighborhood
Small but convenient, clean and comfortable.
Convenient location, close to the exhibition/convention centre. Rooms are small but perfectly fine.
Thanks for a lovely stay. Only a few minutes walk from the International Convention Centre and open late for check in. Staff members were very helpful. Mini queen room with toilet and shower partitioned off from the rest of the room, and only one sink in main area for washing hands and filling kettle etc. Bed was very comfortable, and iron, hairdryer in room. Small space but had everything I needed for a one person stay and overall it was very comfortable. I would stay here again :)
Close to Darling Harbour
Great location
great location, easy access to conference at ICC, Sydney
Excellent stay with a short walk to ICC, easy and conventient parking.
Check in with the property was smooth and front desk agent was cheerful , helpful and friendly. Location was great. Those are my positive comments. The hotel room is very tiny and not very clean, shower overflowed to bathroom floor and soaked bath mat every time which was an issue since toilet is right there. There is no switch controlling bathroom light except on far side of bed , very dangerous in the middle of night. The ac in the room was not functioning correctly and evening front desk attendant did not know it was controlled from downstairs or fix the issue. The next day the first front attendant fixed the issue. I would say if you are looking for something on a budget in safe area this is the place to stay.
Good bang for buck and very clean
Hotel is great value for money. Rooms are small but functional and clean. The small balcony was a nice touch. My only complaint was the TV was faulty.
Highly recommend Kith Hotel. Great location especially if you are attending the ICC, you can take a short cut through the car park and be there in just a few minutes.
Booked wrong room by mistake expedia tried to call and cancel to change rooms hotel refused and wanted to charge more then booking was to upgrade rooms. Ended up giving the room away free to someone else. 1/10 for service.
Excellent accomodation
Great staff who didn’t hesitate to offer assistance, very small rooms with the only storage for bags under the beds which were quite high. Bathroom door didn’t fully close. You’d need to be pretty good friends to share a room as every sound was heard. The property itself was quiet with only minimal outside noises heard. Very convenient to light rail stop and Darling Harbour. I would probably stay here again if required
I was down in Sydney for a conference at the International Convention Centre, Darling Harbour. I brought my husband with me. We wanted cheap and convenient accommodation. The Kith Hotel fit the bill. A few callouts for those booking The room was tiny. We had to turn sideways to shuffle past the foot of the bed and the clothes rack. The worst thing was the overpowering smell of the air freshener in the room Apart from a bit of build-up in a corner of the bathroom the room was clean The small balcony looks down to the street and the Novotel front. It was nice to get some fresh air into the room
Just like it
Hello friend! what I liked about the stay, they have good staff. The property is good for a petite person, but is a bit too small.
Lovely and clean with all being good.
Very clean
Good experience
Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Room was clean and tidy. Only complaint was that the aircon bathroom was noisy when switched on.
I was't expecting the rooms to be so tiny. You could barely move. The glass ensuite was very odd, I had to leave the room every time my daughter wanted to shower for her to feel comfortable
