Great location

Just a short walk from the train station and then you are right in the middle of the city. Close to plenty of restaurants, shopping, and attractions. Room was clean with plenty of space. Staff was really friendly and I appreciated the free coffee anytime. Would definitely stay again.

We had the pleasure of being greeted by Massi, who was managing the front desk when we arrived. He quickly gave us recommendations for the area and we also got to exchange some good conversation, learning about each others' background and experiences, which added a pleasant perainal touch to our stay. We appreciated the coffee and water on demand in the lobby and the room was very comfortable.

Great central location

Great hotel, staff are wonderful. We had family suite 404 which kids loved the bed up stairs set up. Little balcony was nice for an evening drink too. Easy to find and in great location for exploring the city on foot.

ok for a night, good location

The staff at Hotel Kaijoo were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was spacious and had a balcony. The hotel is well located to walk to the Little France area and local restaurants and patisseries. Great hotel!

Hugo at the front desk was very helpful. We arrived early and our room wasn’t ready. He checked our bags so we could walk around and gave us good suggestions of what to go and see. He looked up a place nearby where we could do our laundry. Thank you, Hugo!

Very convenient location, walking distance from Strasbourg train station, plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Staff was not well trained, charged us for room upon check-in but did not check that we had prepaid our rooms in full. Insufficient heating, room was cold in evening, luckily showers were hot, hotel called themselves 'eco hotel' but this did not come across clear on their website, sinks clogged. TV did not work, single burnt out lightbulb at entrance, room felt dark. Otherwise, experienced staff quickly resolved billing issues and was kind. Dining room is pleasant and breakfast buffet is delicious. Lots of potential to be a very good hotel but I would not recommend if you're looking for comfort.

I loved this property. It was quirky, but so cute, and located in a really great spot in Strasbourg. It was walkable to Petite France, but also to the Cathedral area. I wish we had booked to stay longer!

Cool hôtel in Strasbourg

Great hotel. Fantastic location. Highly recommend the breakfast option. Public water fountain a nice touch. One issue common to many hotels: guests and culprit included shutting room door by letting it go and BHAMMM, you wake up your neighbors at 0715. At this juncture of engineering marvel, could we move to a magnetic door without latch?

The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was well stocked and appreciated. The location makes it an excellent walking hotel to all the sites in Strasbourg. The building is an older building and the walls tend to be a bit thin, this results in hearing a lot of noise from other rooms and especially hallway noise.

Great location to explore a superb city

This is a great, smaller hotel in an ideal location to explore this wonderful city. The room I had was spacious with an unusual location for the large bed - it is in the middle of the room with a headboard that acts as your desk on the other side. The bathroom was clean and a good size. The staff are friendly, multi-lingual and efficient. I very much enjoyed my stay. My only quibble is the inflated pricing of the room when the European Parliament is in session!! So annoying for us folk with no business accounts!

7min from the train station, 10min from all attractions. The added bonus is the size of the room! One thing I will complain about is the AC not working. Good thing it wasn’t hot but otherwise it’s an 8.5/10

Nice layout for a family room that fits 8. It only has 1 bathroom and a separate toilet but no sink area outside. So you have to wait for someone to come out of the bathroom to wash your hands after using the toilet. For a big group, that is very inconvenient and gross.

Room condition was average, a tad old & rickety but excellent location a trade-off. On site parking was not available due to Christmas as roads into the old town area was closed. For Christmas Markets, think again...

The hotel, service, location were all great. The only issue was with parking; we were there for the Christmas Markets, but couldn’t park OR EVEN DRIVE UP TO the hotel. This was a major inconvenience and additional cost.

Poor acoustic insulation, from the bedroom we could hear every single neighbours, and people in the corridor. Room service starts cleaning at 8h30 hoovering the corridor. Poor finish for furniture

Modern hotel with nice staff in a great location

Poor service.

Three night stay, starting on a Friday. No air conditioning in the family room that had block out blinds. Room only had one door onto the verandah so their was no air flow. Kids in bunk beds with a side panel on each bed. We tried one night- no sleep due to the heat. Front desk said they could only give us an extra fan-totalling three fans in our room or to speak to the manager on monday. Monday we were due to check out. All three fans were not safe to use as stands broken, and had to be lent up against wall/bench or stabilised with objects underneath. -One had a loose wire and wouldn’t work unless you held it together. -The cover protecting the fan blades on one fan would fall off whilst fan blades still running. Enquired about another room -no air conditioning in all family rooms and only a three bedded air conditioned room was available, fully booked out. No refund available. Needless to say would not recommend for families due to a lack of air conditioning/service.

Air conditioning was busted during the 3 days we stayed here. Hottest 3 days on record, but they offered us 5 complimentary bottles of water. Classy.

not a 4 star hotel, rather 2

The room was very spacious as was the bathroom. I liked the plants at the entryway as it gave a natural, noncommercial feeling to the place. It was the most spacious room I've had in Europe.

Unfortunately the AC was not working. But the city was quiet and we slept well

L'établissement est idéalement situé à proximité de la gare et dans le centre de Strasbourg. les chambres sont spatieuses, les enfants on adoré le concept des lits qui sont dans l'esprit cabane. Nous n'avons pas testé le petit dej et les prestations de repas. Bon point, un corner est disponible avec café, thé, etc...ainsi qu'un distributeur d'eau plate et gazeuse et quelques viennoiseries, ouvert 24h/24h

Hotel carino nel centro di Strasburgo, una volta arrivati in hotel si può girare tutto il centro a piedi. Intorno all'albergo ci sono diversi posti per mangiare di vario tipo, compreso un buon forno dove si può fare colazione se non si vuole fare in hotel. Unica nota negativa è la gestione dell'auto, se non si individua subito il parcheggio poi si deve fare un giro assurdo per tornare indietro, consiglio vivamente di contattare prima la struttura per farsi dare informazioni a riguardo. Personale cortese e disponibile.

Great location. We parked at Place Kleber just a few minutes away. The room was huge. Our family of four had 7 beds to choose from. It was a little dusty in the room, but not really bad. They had glutenfree toast at the breakfast buffet (not dedicated toaster). Complimentaly beverages at the lobby were nice at +32C outside. We will stay here again.

Hotellet ligger perfekt i gå afstand til alt. Familieværelset var rigtig fint og levede fuldt ud op til forventningerne. Sødt & imødekommende personale & fin morgenmad med lidt til en hver smag. Minus var elevatoreren der lød gammel, så vi tog trappen til 4.sal.

Overall nice, renovated hotel. Renovation tho felt like it was just glued on, not done with much craftsmanship. Partly unfinished things, like doorframes. Hooks in toilets were on the other side of the bathroom, than where would one need them. Our toilet room had air quality issues. Air conditioning control was hidden behind an useless door. These are small things (apart from the moldy smell), but they do add up. On the second breakfast it was obvious that the staff was either too few or way over their head. It was messy everywhere, no free tables and many products were out. Not a nice experience. The staff was overall nice, special thanks to the night watch - very charming guy.

Es ist ein altes Haus, das aber mit viel Mühe renoviert wurde. Insgesamt war alles super. Schöne Zimmer, super empfang, einzig die Parkmöglichkeiten sind nicht so gut. Man bekommt einen Gutschein für das Parkhaus (300m entfernt), das den Preis bei uns von 45€ auf 30€ reduzierte.

El hotel está muy bien situado, en pleno centro. Las habitaciones son muy amplias y cómodas, con una terraza con vistas a la ciudad. Destaca la limpieza de las habitaciones y zonas comunes. El desayuno espectacular.

Hotel ben posizionato, a pochi passi dal centro. Camera ampia, arredo essenziale. Comodissimo il parcheggio (da prenotare in anticipo). Colazione con ampia scelta di dolce e salato, ottima qualità. Il personale è gentilissimo.

Hôtel loin du standard habituel d’un 4 étoiles. Propreté à revoir (poussières, tartre dans les toilettes, moisissure sur les joints, etc.). Hôtel soi-disant refait à neuf, mais des finitions complètement ratées (j’ai vu encore du ruban de masquage encore collé, des traces de peintures mal faites, des débouchages de trous hasardeux, etc.). Enfin, bruits du radiateur qui empêche de dormir correctement. En bref je n’ai vraiment pas bien dormi. Point fort : la localisation en cœur de ville, près de la gare, le petit déjeuner ainsi que la gentillesse du personnel. Je n’y retournerai plus pour un voyage à Strasbourg.

Simplement convenable, pas de changement des draps et serviettes tout le jour les mêmes depuis le 4 jours, la main courante de l’ascenseur et vétuste le gel et vide rempli le dernier jour, le resto pour 4 étoiles 0, la poubelle dans sous sol jamais vider depuis notre arrivée, si vous volez plus envoyé moi un mail et vous aurez plus

L'hôtel est propre, un vrai petit dej et du personnel agréable. Pour un hôtel 4 etoiles et a ce niveau de prix je trouve qu'il manque quand même quelques attentions. La TV est juste ridiculement petite. Les finitions de peinture ont du être faites par des enfants en cours d art plastique. La porte de la salle de bain ne ferment plus car les montant avaient travaillé. Les fenêtres en bois idem. Les lumières a mon arrivée ne s'allumaient pas car ampoules défectueuses. Par contre il est a noter que la literie était de très bonne qualité

À conseiller … hôtel bien situé

Très bien situé à la fois proche de la gare et de la petite France. Un manque d'entretien cependant, les fenêtres nécessitent une révision (chambre 106) tout comme les joints dans la sdb et le système de fixation de la douche. Déco sympa. Petit déjeuner à 12€ si pris à l'enregistrement 16€ dans le cas contraire : 4€ d'écart qui sont injustifiés.

I don‘t know how this hotel got his 4 star rating! It’s more like a hostel. The rooms are very small and they are poorly decorated and renovated. In our bathroom was mold and everything seems like it could fall apart in a second. TV and AC works good. The cleaning staff didn’t do their job very good, there were no new towels. The hotel hands out free water but there is no minibar in the room. Our first room was even worse so we complained at the reception. The staff was friendly and gave us the opportunity to change rooms. The location is very good. It’s a short walk to all main attractions in Straßburg. That’s basically the only positive thing. Would not recommend!

Einfach Super!!!!!

Das vom Hotel vorgeschlagene Parkhaus (Indigo Kleber) ist unter keinen Umständen empfehlenswert. Es ist zum einem kaum mit Mittelklasse PKW befahrbar, da die zuwege sehr eng sind. Zudem ist es sehr dreckig und dunkel. Bei unserer Reise nach Straßburg wurde uns dort das Auto aufgebrochen. Insgesamt waren es 15 Einbrüche in PKW an dem Wochenende in diesem Parkhaus.

Greenwashing

-Ne pas laver systématiquement les serviettes de toilette se fait à peu près dans tous les hôtels et depuis longtemps, ce n'est pas une révolution écologique ! -Proposer de ne pas faire le ménage sans contrepartie financière pour le client, ce n'est pas de l'écologie, c'est de l'arnaque ! -La réduction du parking qui devait être de 50% s'est avérée n'être que de 36% . Bref, cet hôtel ne mérite selon moi ni ses 4 étoiles ni son label écolo.

Tout simplement HORRIBLE Photos non conformes à la réalité Hotel à fuir de par son standing sorti de l’ascenseur couloir tapis crade, câbles du plafond qui pendent, 1ere chambre supérieure qui n’a rien de supérieur micro cage en guise d’armoires dont le portant à cintres était inexistant donc changement pour une chambre à mobilité réduite dont la salle de bain est muni d’une marche pour y accéder !!! Gels douche ect … a hauteur trop haute bref un vrai sketch cet hôtel mais pas le prix et quand au personnel incompétent et irrespectueux vraiment très très déçue… quand on arrive à 16h30 pour se reposer et que notre chambre n’est pas encore nettoyée et quon demande en bas à l’accueil gentiment « à quel heure sont faites les chambres et que la responsable des femmes de ménage vous réponds sur un ton très hautaine « si la chambre n’est pas encore faite c’est qu’elle va être faite !!’ De là je réponds qu’on peut répondre plus poliment et surtout sans être hautaine et qu’on vous tienne Tete devant la responsable de l’hôtel qui vous propose une boisson et s’excuse au nom de l’établissement tout en vous disant que vous interpréter mal les choses donc total manque de respect pour moi. Résultat on a annuler les jours de réservations d’après pour partir dans un Hotel à côté le kaijjoo dernière fois. Je précise c’est la première fois que je note un établissement de la sorte et pourtant on a voyager dans le monde entier. Ilham Moudnib

Très confortable, silencieux, bien décoré, bien situé. Mention spéciale pour le petit déjeuné. Un bémol le parking malgré la réduction le parking reste hors de prix.

Idéalement situé pour visiter la ville Hôtel proposant un parking (25€) la nuit ou des tarifs préférentiels dans d’autre parking ( non négligeable vu le prix des parkings à Strasbourg) Nous avions pris une suite ( pour 3 personnes ) la chambre est super grande avec un balcon Salle de bain au top , literie parfaite ! Chambre propre !! Rien a dire on a super bien dormi !! Un grand merci au staff ,d’une grande gentillesse , très arrangeant et qui a réellement envie que notre séjour se déroule au mieux .merci à eux L’hôtel est très bien décoré. Des bouteilles d’eau en verre , et eau plate et gazeuse en libre service ( c’est top ). Bref on valide

Perfect distance to everything and would recommend wodli parking for easy access plus price. Did not include breakfast because there were other options that we wanted to try. Do recommend checking if the rooms have working airconditioning. Staff notified us ahead and it was not a big problem for us. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Maravilloso lugar impecable buen, buena atención

Die Einrichtung steht mitten im Herzen von Straßburg, sehr zentral und gut erreichbar. Es ist ein älteres Gebäude mit Renovierungsbedarf, allerdings völlig ausreichend für einen kurztrip . Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Hochbetten gebucht. Diese waren sehr toll in eine Art Schrankwand eingelassen. Zur Sicherheit konnte man zwei Wände zuschieben. Leider waren die Wände an zwei Betten defekt. An einem konnte mein Mann selbst reparieren notdürftig, beim anderen fehlte eine Schiebewand. Im Bad an der Decke gab es wohl mal einen sichtbaren Wasserschaden. Die Einrichtung ist sehr modern und stylisch. Das Frühstück war hervorragend. Es steht ein Wasserspender bereit.

Décevant pour un "4*" - à éviter

La chambre était sombre - avec des interrupteurs (3) qui n'allument ni n'éteignent RIEN. La lampe à côté de la porte doit être branchée dans la prise et débranchée - super pratique quand on rentre dans le noir. Le fil de la mini bouilloire est trop court et n'arrive pas à la prise. Chauffage réglé sur 16 degrés - et pas 19 comme indiqué sur le petit papier au dessus du thermostat (charmant avec les températures négatives à l'extérieur) - qui revient sur 16 degrés au bout de quelques minutes à peine. J'ai du complètement enlever tous les réglages pour obtenir un peu de chaud. La moquette est vieille et douteuse, et la nouvelle couche de peinture sur les murs ne fait qu'illusion. La salle de bain est petite et mal éclairée. Le seul point positive doit être le balcon par beau temps. J'ai séjourné dans des hôtels avec moins d'étoiles qui étaient plus accueillants, plus confortables et dans lesquels on a au moins le plaisir de revenir dans sa chambre surtout après une longue journée de travail.

Hôtel confortable et chambre équipée avec goût. Malheureusement l'insonorisation est mauvaise. J'entendais la conversation téléphonique et la TV d'une chambre à côté, probablement par la bouche d'aération de la salle de bain !

Super Lage, man kann alles Sehenswürdigkeiten bequem zu Fuß erreichen. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Beim leckeren Frühstück kann der perfekte Tag in Straßburg gut beginnen.

Lage top! Perfekt zu Fuß vom Bahnhof aus zu erreichen und quasi schon mittendrin im wunderschönen Zentrum! Ich hatte ein Zimmer zum Innenhof; daher leider keine besonders schöne Aussicht. Aber das Zimmer an sich war sehr ansprechend und sauber! Das Frühstück war sehr gut; zu den Stoßzeiten fand ich es allerdings recht voll/eng. Immerhin haben wir immer noch corona.
