They need extra cleaning bathrooms

Pictures provided in the app is not accurate,we had to change our room due to being old and nasty ,bathroom and shower was on a poor condition,the second room was alot better but still can use a remodel for sure

We were able to bring our pet with us. Very nice & clean.

Needs improvement

Facility still working on updating the rooms which will be a huge impact for the experience, but overall the property it’s in good shape. Definitely the service was exceptionally amazing.

When we got to the facilities the picture on the add did not match the room they provided and when we got their they advised that their WiFi was down. The tv wasn’t working as well and the room felt super hot

All the staff were really nice and attentive to us, can’t wait to comeback again.

Beautiful hotel

I love the way I get treated here. I feel like royalty. It’s safe. People are really nice and helpful. Walking in the plaza is safe.

Gorgeous

The room was really old, We were relocated three different times. One night was raining really heavy that the water got into the room thought the window. There weren’t hand towels neither hair dryer nor iron machine/iron board. If you need some of them, you have to request them at the front desk and take them back as soon as you use them. Also you have to request the shower towels everyday to the cleaning staff

Nothing wrong with the hotel. Very simple rooms, clean enough. Mattress could be improved, it was an old spring mattress that you would usually find in a cheaper hotel. The parking is very limited if you are driving. A small parkade below the hotel and not much available on the street.

Booked room for (4) people, there were only 2 bath towels. No hand Towels and no Bath Rug/Foot Towel. Had to beg for (2) additional towels. 1st one hand towel and foot towel was brought and we had to explain to the lady again that we needed (4) bath towels total for the (4) adults staying in the room. She said, let me see what I can do at that point and did finally come back with the (2) bath towels so that each person could have their own.

The staff was very nice, the breakfast included was very poor, no eggs, no fruit No iron board No refrigerator:/ Everything else was ok

Location is great, staff friendly, ok cleaningless this hotel needs an urgent reno, for the price not having WiFi, a tiny parking and the offering of a very frugal "continental" breakfast is not good value for your money, I won't come back get better options within this area.

I made a reservation as a Double Room. But they gave me a single and it was very small for me and my girlfriend. When i check-in, received a remote for TV. But ANY channel cannot see...only i can see a blue screen and "ninguna señal". it is not the cheaper hotel in this area, but very very disappointed. ahh...and i don't know how to explain about this smell of room and dirty feeling air conditioner. because after i turned on the airconditioner, cannot stop coughing. AND THE WATER...HAS YELLOW COLOR!!!

Not so good, bad service

Very limited parking space, had to pay extra for parking. The room I received did not have a/c at all. Service is very poor and do not care about you. Area is the beautiful downtown of Tampico but it is a bad hotel to stay at. Floor was not that clean at all.

The bed was hard and I did not get to choose the view so I didn’t get to have a good view

Overall experience - Good ! The tables outside the hotel, excellent to have a drink or two every night, and after too many years without visiting Tampico and family even better !! Wishing the bar stays open after 11 pm at night, Understand if insecurity is up to the roof in Mexico.

Loved the hotel but was told by front desk that having over 3 people in a two bedroom rental would constitute paying for another room

The service and employees were very accommodating and attentive. Rooms were very clean.

Won't go back

Difficult to navigate the narrow, one way streets in the old part of Tampico. Only four parking spots on the street beside the hotel are dedicated for guest parking. Hotel was clean and well kept but you immediately notice a mildew/mould smell. The restaurant evening food was very good and service excellent. Receptionist Adriana was exceptional. The Hotels.com site states free breakfast but they seemed unaware of this. When I pointed it out, the manager said 'oh yes but that is a continental breakfast....coffee, fruit, sweet roll of some kind (which wasn't very good). We ordered from the menu, guessing at the Spanish. It was very good. Initially, a little worried about location as it is in the old town, but it was well lit and okay. We walked around the town square area near the big cathedral with no problem. Everything shut down at 8pm. The room was very mouldy smelling presumably from the central AC (not a wall unit). It seemed to improve some after running all night. People with allergies would be in trouble I think. The staff tried so hard to please and were very helpful but we would not stay here again. We seemed to be the only guests there.

The hotel smells so bad of mold. The only good thing was the shopping nearby and the staff were amazing and friendly

Hotel Iglaterra is near the historical plaza of Arms also we enjoy eating at Ristorante Carleone located on the first floor of the hotel, good food good personal service and entertainment on Friday and Saturday, outside every Thursday and Friday a Tropical orchestra plays and people dance and enjoy the free access to it. Near by the Plaza we took a tour trolley that show you some attractions of the city of Tampico. We love very much the Miramar beach that is about few miles from our hotel. We enjoy the typical places near our hotel, to drink delicious juices, ice cream, and all kinds of typical food around the area.

Hotel seems to have been remodeled recently but the first thing you notice when you get out of the elevator is the smell of an old building. Inside the room you had an additional fragrance...urine. It seems that the drains need work. The water had to run for a little bit so that it would clear of and the as for the faucets, only the hot water side worked. Luckily the water was warm and not hot. A/C suppose to have several speeds but in reality only had hi and off.On a plus side, as for its location, you could have not asked for anything better.

El hotel lindo, súper limpio, la habitación excelente, acogedora y agradable, en esta ocasión no le pongo ni un pero, la vez pasada no tuve internet pero en esta ocasión todo excelente. Agradezco a todos su apoyo y a Yareth en recepción q siempre se ha portado muy amable en las ocasiones q me he hospedado, muchas gracias a todos y espero volver pronto

El estacionamiento está limitado y me dejaron bloqueada, tuve que cambiar mis planes y pagar Uber. El restaurante muy lento el servicio de desayuno

NO ME RESPETARON EL PRECIO QUE ME MANEJO EXPEDIA, ME DIERON UNA TARIFA MAS ALTA Y APARTE ES HORA DE QUE TODAVIA NO RECIBO EL DINERO QUE ME COBRARON DE MAS.

1.- Pedimos hielo y nos lo cobraron en $25 la cubetita de hielo que estaba solo llena a la mitad. 2.- No tienen cremora para el café ni tampoco manejan cereales para el desayuno, y los desayunos no estaban muy ricos y la salsa olía un poco agria y el ultimo día tardaron casi 25 min en traerme mi bisquet con mantequilla del desayuno y eso que estaba todo solo el restaurant. 3.- El desayuno americano solo es 1 café y 1 jugo (sin refill) y 1 pieza de pan que estaba dura, parecía de días. 4.- Un día nos hablaron a las 5:00 de la mañana para preguntarnos si no teníamos un carro gris (no llevábamos carro) pasada una hora o un poco mas le marcaron a mi esposo al celular para hacer la misma pregunta afortunadamente ya estábamos despiertos si ni que molesto que te llamen a las 5:00 y luego que te vuelvan a llamar a las 6:00 para preguntar lo mismo que ya les dijiste. Bajamos a las 7:00 a recepción y el cliente al que le estaban bloqueando su carro seguía ahi, desde las 5:00 no podian encontrar de quien era ese carro y eso que nos dijeron que el estacionamiento del hotel era solo para 10 vehículos, no tienen buen control de eso. Aunque el personal de recepción y ama de llaves fueron muy amables, nuestra experiencia no fué la mejor y la verdad no regresariamos.

Vieja descuidada sé que como hace 35 años que fui nada moderno lástima de la ubicación que esté en sitio muy turístico de Tampico hasta con las misma televisiones de caja antigua

Muy buena opción de hospedaje. La habitación era cómoda, el hotel muy limpio; lo unico malo era el estacionamiento pequeño pero no hubo problema en encontrar lugar durante mi estancia.

Esta muy bien ubicado ya que está en el centro para salir a ver tiendas, museos y las diferentes atracciones, la limpieza y servicio excelentes todo el personal es muy amable, punto negativo es que el baño está muy pequeño y cuenta con bañera pero no se puede usar haciendo incómodo tomar una ducha, otro punto malo es el estacionamiento que tiene muy poca capacidad de autos y antes de reservar si lo haces por la alberca pregunta antes si está en servicio ya que me tocó mantenimiento y puedes encontrar otras opciones

Bien lugar, céntrico hotel.

En general bien. El estacionamiento del hotel muy pequeño, la camioneta la tuvimos que dejar sobre al calle, frente al hotel. Nos tocaron habitaciones con vista a la calle y en la noche se escuchaba mucho la música de algún bar o antro cercano.

Pues le falta detalles por terminar y un poco de mas atencion en habitacion

Espectacular lo recomiendo al 100, limpieza de la habitación, camas y almohadas de lujo, hotel en frente de la estatua de mauricio Garcés, buen precio volvería a regresar

Le hace falta limpieza a los recamaras, tv no se ven los canales bien, la alberca estuvo fuera de servicio. Tenía reservado hasta el día domingo y en recepción me comentaron que ya había entregado habitación el día sábado. Nos tuvieron esperando para revisar la estancia

Un hotel clásico muy bonito ubicado en el corazón te Tampico, está muy bien conservado y muy limpio pero tiene varios detalles a considerar, sin embargo volvería ya que vale la pena quedarse en la propiedad. ASPECTOS A CONSIDERAR - Nunca pude tener señal de wifi en la habitación, a pesar de que me dieron red y contraseña jamás nos pudimos conectar -la puerta del baño rechina horrible, es la Habitación 412, les recomiendo aceitar un poco para que no rechine porque en la noche es incomodo al abrir y cerrar para ir al baño De ahí no hubo ningún Oruro inconveniente, por el contrario todos siempre muy amables

La alberca muy fría

No me gustó el estacionamiento que es muy chico y tienes que dejar el carro en la calle, el restaurante mal servicio y baja d calidad.

La cama y almohadas son muuuu cómodas… no habia toallas de ningún tipo, todo se tiene que pedir… la habitación ya con luces prendidas era algo oscura.. en general está bien, solo pequeños detalles.. el estacionamiento es muy pequeño, si alcanzas adentro hay que saber maniobrar

No se hospeden aquí! Son malas personas, desconsiderados y negligentes. Me pidieron mi ine al llegar y no me lo regresaron, cuando entregue el cuarto no me dijeron nada, en el aeropuerto casi pierdo el vuelo por no tenerla, les hablé y me dijeron que la tenían, tuve que regresar por ella y ni se disculparon. Además, nos pusieron en un piso en donde estaban haciendo reparaciones sin avisarnos y con mucho ruido. Su desayuno es un fraude, el más caro y pésimo que dan. Afuera hay excelentes restaurantes con comida local. Nunca regresaré a ese lugar. Pésimo

Es un hotel antiguo, no es como se muestra en las fotos. Lo bueno es la ubicación ya que se encuentra en el centro de Tampico. El restaurante Carleone si esta rico.

Excelente servicio

Olor de los baños a cañerías, los pisos sucios, el aire se apaga cada 3 horas y tienes que volver a prenderlo.

Es una propiedad con muchos años de experiencia, tienen un nombre, pero han descuidado mucho las instalaciones y el servicio al cliente. El costo en relación con lo que ofrecen es alto.

El hotel esta bonito pero la habitacion es pequeña, el baño esta muy chiquito y quisieron meter a la fuerza una tina y la tina es pequeña por lo mismo la regadera es pequeña y las toallas estan pero que parecen lija

Me comentaron que no pueden hacer la factura por el monto que pague en Expedia más que por su ganancia muy mala experiencia con expedia

Habitacion amplia, colchon y almohadas muy comodas, lo recomiendo ampliamente.

La habitación reservada con expedia era oara una cama kingsize, pero el hotel y sus sistema nos reservo habitación con cama matrimonial. Asi que lo que me mostraron como reservacion en expedia no coincidia con la habitación del hotel.

Excelente lugar en todos los aspectos

Nos cambiamos aqui despues de estar la primer noche en un hotel cercano pero que no nos agrado, aquí todo muy bien, desde la manera de recibirnos, la respuesta casi inmediata, en general nos ga gustado tanto que esta fue nuestra tercer noche

Está muy bien ubicado pero el estacionamiento es muy complicado, es súper pequeño y si no alcanzas tienes q quedarte en la calle, las instalaciones huelen demasiado a humedad.

El personal, es muy atento en recepción pero no terminan lo solicitado y el area de comida estar revasado le falta capacitación al personal
