Convenient location, good service
Great location, friendly staff and comfortable room. This is a hotel with just the basic amenities but close to the cathedral, dining and other tourist attractions. Works great for a visit.
I wouldn’t recommend to anybody.
A very convenient place to stay for visiting Granada. The single room and bathroom was very clean and tidy. The staff were very helpful and efficient too!
Was nice to stay here is beautiful, clean, staff very friendly,
Friendly and informative staff. Area is safe and within walking distance to notable landmarks, monuments and an easy 30 minutes to Alhambra main entrance.
Manuel at the check in was very nice and helpful.
Excellent hotel. The front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable (we had the family room). The hotel is well situated in the older section of town, walking distance to charming restaurants and historic sites like the cathedral. We took a taxi to and from the Alhambra, though you could probably walk there in 20 minutes to a half hour.
Super central hotel
Great friendly city hotel. Perfect for my needs.
Parking was several blocks away which doesn’t seem far except when you are pulling large pieces of luggage thru a very busy intersection/neighborhood. Bathroom light never turned off
Great staff, very professional, and accommodating. Hotel is off the main avenue of Granada so ALL is close and accessible. Bathroom is BIG compared to other European hotels I have stayed in. However, the décor of the room is extremely outdated, as if your great grandma was living there. But we all love our great grandmother. So if your on a budget... I would highly recommend, specially because of the AMAZING staff.
Nice hotel, just a couple of minutes away from the cathedral, less than half an hour walk to the Alhambra. Staff was very friendly too.
Great location. Within walking distance to everything we wanted to see. Clean and spacious room. Lovely host.
Very good hotel in the historical center of the city with good staff ready to help you
The hotel was nice, clean and welcoming. The staff helpful What was a big negative was that when I arrived on 12/05/2021 around 11pm there was a pungent marihuana odor in the hallway and inside my room. It disipated, and at 4:22am I woke up due to the same smell and was difficult to get back to sleep. Given that the hotel claims to be smoke-free I imagine the source could be from the street. This should inceitive the hotel to check the "insulation" on the windows to avoid these kind of situations
Good location and good price i recommend it .Breakfast is served in different location .
Nice hotel in Granada.
The hotel is clean and near activities. It has a parking although the streets at the historic center are kind of difficult. The hotel offers breakfast at a near cafeteria.
Very good hotel close to everything. Very convenient.
Very good stay at Granada Centro
Nice and clean hotel room. Good breakfast included at nearby bar restaurant Ugarit. Very helpful young lady at the reception.
great place good service
Great stay to see Granada ,and we were right in the heart of it by staying here , excellent service from reception ,nice clean rooms and very central to the sights
Centrally located with easy access to transport and very friendly and helpful staff Thank you
Everything OK except complicated way to reach hotel. More information ahead will be very useful moreover due to the lack of the names of streets in Spain.
A very good hotel. The room and bathroom were cleaned daily. A room with a window onto the street is a very good choice for the summer. A fully equipped room. Towels, cleaning products, private bathroom. There is air conditioning. There is even a TV, although I do not know why to come to Granada and watch TV. It is close to all city attractions. I recommend this place.
The room was fair. The beds were good but there were not towel racks to hang you towels and the tile in the bath room needed repair as well as the shower glass.
Very nice stay in Granada
EXCELLENT STAFF- very helpful and very pleasant. Very clean. Good heating and ventilation. No English TV channels :( Good central arean
Great find
Great location and easy to access all sites on foot. Hotel easy to find and fabulous welcome on check in. Room on third floor spacious and had everything and more expected from a 2* hotel. Lovely hot powerful shower too. Only negative point ... fairly noisy outside during our second night from street revellers as they went past ( would have been remedied with earplugs!) On saying that would definitely stay here again
Easy from airport bus. Easy to local bars easy to walk to churches easy to catch the bus to any where in granada. BUT no info in the hotel they can improve with local time tables. TAKE CARE THE TRAINS ARE NOT RUNNING MAJOR CONTRUCTION.
Great Location. Very Clean. Good price and value. We liked the breakfast place opposite.
Just off Gran Via de Colon. Highly walkable area. Within blocks of the Granada Cathedral and Basilica de San Juan de Dios.
Good Price, Good Location
Front desk (Pedro and Juanma) were very welcoming. Has a lift which is bigger than that of most European hotesl. Nice enclosed shower with very strong water pressure. When you exit the hotel and turn right there's a grocery store (supermercado) named Coviran (we bought 1.5L of bottled water there for only 59 cents.. There's no breakfast, but they will give you voucher to take to nearby Ugarit Café which will give you discount for staying at the hotel. For the price and location, I would stay there again if I were to go back in Granada.
Great place
easy to find, close to airport bus stop. on quiet street, very basic but we were very happy
The location was very quiet. The bed was comfortable. The air-conditioning kept a consistent temperature and was quiet! There was a top-sheet and a blanket and a comforter, not a duvet, so it was perfect. There was only one chair in the room and only a small lobby for sitting in the evening. Bus stops were a 7-minute walk. Plaza Nueva was a 15-minute walk.
Excellent value hotel.
I've used this hotel several times, it's always clean & the staff are friendly & helpful. It's pretty basic but suits my needs perfectly. Already looking forward to another visit next year.
Breakfast Coupon and Slow Internet.
Hotel is on a side street 1 block off the Grand via. It is st the opposite end of the Grand Via from where the “action” is but within a 20 minute walk. Internet is slow and sketchy. The ‘breakfast’ is a coupon to a local restaurant good for coffee and a pastry. Eggs and ham cost 1.50 euros extra. Staff was very friendly, spoke fluent english and were helpful. You basically get what you pay for. I’m doing Spain on the cheap, but I believe I could have got significantly better accommodations for about 20% more money.
Granada
We enjoyed our stay. The hotel is next to the main street that leads you anywhere in the city. Front desk personnel went out of their way to make sure you had the needed information to have good stay.
location of the hotel bit further away to centre
hotel is ok but its bit further out. can walk but probably need a bus to get to to the centre as it ca be bit of a walk going and coming from the centre. however on the plus side location is great to get to albacin area
Excelente customers service, we found Lot of hair in the room floor,
Good location and convenient.helpful staff members at the hotel
A hotel closed to your heart
The hotel is very good for your money. It is 15 minutes from the city most famous attraction, the alHambra and also to other attractions. That is why the name is hotel granada CENTRO. If you are not in a hurry, the train station is also walkable. We only took the taxi to the station because we took a very early train. The restaurants are near by. I highly recommended people to come abd stay at this place.
Hotel is a bit old but clean and good value
Spring Vacation
Very good visit in Granada. They offer a very good breakfast at a nearby restaurant. Very nice nice Hotel in a very nice area. Near transportation, restaurants, shopping and market and to the main Road, Gran Via.
Great stay, Great location, friendly staff. Beautiful City
Central and close to cathedral
Hotel was good and value for money.. not the hotel we thought we ha booked. Only 100 meters to gran via.
Close to city centre
The hotel was good for its closeness to the centre of Granada without being overly busy. Breakfast was taken at a nearby restaurant which was a nice way of feeling part of everyday life in Granada
Very handy for most sights
Basic hotel perfect for a quick city break. Just go room only as breakfast is at a local cafe & the menu is limited. Friendly staff, comfy bed, good shower, quiet area & handy for most sights. Be prepared to do lots of walking.
Good enough for travelers on budget for a couple of nights. For longer stay look at some apartment hotels closer to Pl. Nueva. Service was good and people at reception were very helpful speaking good English.
The hotel is one block from the main street. The buildings around it have some graffiti. The hotel is fine and safe. Our rooms were quiet even though we were on the ground floor.
Hotel is close to many attractions
Unfortunately the Hotel is situated in a run down street so the view from our window wasn't nice we could only see the old neglected and graffitied buildings opposite. However, the hotel is situated near where all the best attractions are in Granada such as mirador San Miguel, San Nicholas, cathedral, plaza nueva, albazin area and the Alhambra palace which the staff will give you maps and advice on how to get there using public transport. The staff are amazing they are so helpful and friendly including the cleaning staff. Staff made excellent recommendations on things to do such as watch flamenco dancing which is a must see! They also booked tickets to Alhambra palace for us online which can be a hassle if you try and buy yourself at the palace directly as tickets run out quickly each day. They can also arrange taxi bookings to the airport. Also if your departure flight is after the check out time they can keep your luggage in their own hold area until your taxi comes so you don't have to walk around with them on you for the remainder of your day. The hotel room doesn't offer any foot slippers, complimentary jug of tap water or a water kettle with tea/coffee satchets, cups and spoons or a lock away safe to put away valuables within your own room. To be the best they need to offer some basic complementaries also the room was cleaned thoroughly each day apart from the actual small bathroom sink which was left grimy on some occasions.
Great budget hotel in central location. Room clean and comfortable. Staff pleasant and helpful.
Convenient area, close to the bus terminal. Offers airport taxi service, staff understands english and able to give you the information you need.
Nice stay in Granada
The room is big, clean and tidy.
Economic choice for short stays
Staff was kind and friendly. They helped us for early check in and gave priority for our room cleaning. Room was clean and comfy. Better to stay on upper floors since ground floor can be noisy.
useful position
My single room was very small on the ground floor with no useable windows , no problem for me , fan for air conditioning runs all night unless you turn off the electric and outside light shines through bathroom window , however I enjoyed my stay , very clean and very helpful staff , would use it again
Don't be put off by surroundings
Convenient location once you've found it, helpful staff, room small but adequate. Fairly noisy but as it's a city centre location probably to be expected. Could do with tea/coffee facilities in room. Overall good value.
Excellent location
A very well situated hotel, just at the back of the main avenue leading to the cathedral. The surroundings are not particularly pleasing, with lots of graffiti (as others have noted), but the hotel itself is fine & not noisy, despite its central location. The staff are helpful & friendly. The rooms are fairly small & mine had nowhere to sit other than the bed or a hard chair - this did matter as I spent some time in the hotel during the afternoons because it was so hot. However, there is a lounge downstairs & I could have used that. There is no car park, but the hotel has an arrangement with one nearby which is very useful.
Great value, good location
We had a family room, and I was very surprised to find out it was actually a two room suite, and there were 2 bathrooms (2 sinks, 2 toilets, and 1 shower). The hotel is 1 block off of Gran Via. So very convenient but quite. There is a balcony overlooks narrow lanes of Granada. It's about 5 min walk to Albayzin and 15 min walk to San Nicholas Point. It's about 8 min walk to Plaza Isabel la Catolica where one catches the C3 minibus to Alhambra. All in all, a great stay and exceptional value.
Centrlly located hotel, inexpensive.
Ideal for a short stay, (1-2 days at most) with friendly staff. Hotel room was dark and window was in close and direct proximity to another hotel.
Excellent value for Price!
A good hotel within walking distance to everything you could need. Buses, laundry, food, attractions, historical sites, shopping. The hotel is not modern however, neither is the area where hotel is located. A non-smoking establishment with 24 hr. reception staffing who do speak other languages. Very helpful if you're struggling with Spanish. Would rate this hotel very good and reasonably priced for the location. Airport bus less than 5 minute walk and currently €2.90 - a Barton.
Did the trick just right
The hotel had everything we needed. Great location.
Decent budget hotel not to far from pl. Nueva
Decent budget hotel with clean rooms. On quiet street, 10 min. walk to plaza Nueva, 25 min from Alhambra. Friendly front desk people.
Very central to Granada Alhambra. Reception very helpful and rooms kept very clean daily.
Good central hotel
Nice quiet hotel, seven minutes walk from the Cathedral. Breakfast is at a cafe nearby.
Great hotel, great location
a really good hotel in a very central location, walking distance from everything, parking available at a reasonable rate which was ideal. Would recommend and will visit again
Hotel itself was okay but dull & basic. Area around it was dirty & covered in graffiti
Not as lovely as the photos...
The staff here is genuinely kind and supportive many speak English as well, I'm currently studying Spanish in classes here so that was helpful for me! Will say the room was not at as I depicted in the photos the quality of everything is aged. The wifi is a poor connection (I was on the first floor with the room closest to the front desk so I don't feel the router was too far). In the evening, I had no connection at all. I feel the price was a little too high for what they provided but for a backpacker who does not require strong wifi for researching the area, it's not a shabby place and the staffs kindness goes a long way in my book!
Value for money
Good location, and it is good price.
Excellent value for money
Good location easy walking to centre. Has good value single rooms
most agreeable 2 star hotel
It was very clean. the staff was pleasant and tried to help.
Good budget hotel
We stayed here for 3 nights in a Standard Double Room at the front of the hotel. We arrived at the Granada Bus Station and took the SN1 Bus from the bus station (1.20€). The bus goes down Gran Colon, but only makes two stops. The first is very close to the hotel, but we missed it and got off at the Cathedral. We walked the approximately 600 m to the hotel. The room was a reasonable size with a double bed. The bathroom was clean and had a shower over a bath tub. The room was very well maintained, and had an individually controlled air-conditioner. The Wi Fi at the room worked well. The water pressure was good with hot water when required. Although it was close to the main road, the hotel was very quiet, provided the windows were kept closed. and was clean and well maintained. The reception staff were quite friendly and helpful. The hotel is well located for walking to many of the main tourist sites, and public transport is available on the Gran Colon if required. Many cafes and restaurants are located nearby. .
Good hotel
The graffiti on the walls across from the hotel was a disturbing first sight but the hotel was fine & safe, and the busy Main Street was just around the corner. The staff was very helpful and spoke some English.
Convinient and friendly hotel
We arrived to Granada as stsrt point for tecking around. As we were there only for 2 nights were preffered clean, cozy and freindly hotel before the treck. We found this hotel as perfecr for that. It is nica small hotel in good area. Very clean and very nice staff.
For the price you couldn't do better
Great staff very helpful, nice room very quiet. Would love to stay there again
No comfortable sleeping in a small bed
Too small room with limited space even it's hard to open two luggages. Bed is small either, not suitable for a couple. Really poor experience for the sleeping. Worthless for recommendation.
Can be noisy
I stayed two nights, but had to switch rooms on the second night. The 1st night I was on the back side and there was another hotel directly across in the alley.., and it got quite noisy. The second night I was on the street side and it was quiet. All together it's a nice no frills hotel and you get the value you expect
Trip to Granada
I like the hotel which was perfect for our budget. The Front Desk Personnel made sure we knew how to get to places and informed of everything to do in Granada. Lovely experience.
Good overnight stay
We had a connecting family room. One room didn't have much of a window but fine for a one night stay. Seemed a quiet street. A bit further out but walkable to the main areas. Nice to be able to access a private garage (for a fee) but small parking spaces like much of Spain. Hotel looks a bit dodgy from the outside and overall a bit old but rooms are clean and comfortable.
Delightful room, nice location, occasional smells
Delightful, pretty room with a narrow balcony just off the Gran Via, the main commercial street in Granada, within easy walking distance of many nice restaurants and the Albaizin, the Islamic market district. The staff was friendly and very helpful, for example there was a bus to the Alhambra for only 1.20 EU, instead of a taxi. And there was a breakfast place around the corner that had nice discounted deals for the hotel patrons. The only problem was an occasional sewer smell in the room during the day that seemed to come through the ventilation system. We were ok with opening the balcony doors and turning off the AC.
Hotel Granada Centro
Hotel reception was friendly and very helpful. Room was comfortable and perfect for my needs.
Nice hotel with an amazing location
Why visit Cordoba? Many would say to visit the Mezquita and if this is the case then I would agree. This hotel is as close as it gets. The service is very good, my room was clean and quiet. the only time I was in it was for a siesta when it was 40C outside or for sleeping at night. Most major sites are close by. Great value for money.
Awful experience!
Horrible experience!! I arrived at 11:30 pm Sat night, hot, tired, traveling for 6 hours only to discover they did not have my reservation. Turned out while using hotels website the date got changed! I ran out of minutes while on the phone w/ hotels trying to cancel and rebook. Have had problems reaching hotels for 5 days now. Never did stay here but got charged even though I cancelled the reservation, very frustrating!
Great location within walking distance of the old city and the station. lots if cafés and bars nearby.
Suitable location
Good location but noisy neighbourhood. Room clean and room service good. Towels were in poor condition. Walking distance of city centre and tourist attractions
Short break in granada
A lovely hotel within walking distance of all the sights. Very friendly and informative staff, who made us feel at home. The hotel has no eating facilities but you know this when you book and we enjoyed our stroll for breakfast nearby. After an amazing week in the mountains we returned to granada and treated our selves to a luxurious hotel and if we return we shall definitely be booking in at Hotel Granada Centro!
Good for the price and location
Not bad. Receptionist could be friendlier.
Good small hotel
Granada is an old city and this hotel is a welol done rebuild with medius to small rooms. It was clean and the people were very helpful. The location is outstanding as it about 50 feet from the main street making the opportunity to enjoy the cities ambience and sights extremely easy.
Great central location
Great that it has 24hr front desk as we arrived very late. Very helpful front desk staff. Fairly basic, fairly small room but it was all we needed and it was clean. Nice small bathroom with hair dryer. Quiet surroundings, on a small road off the main road.
Highly recommended
Great for midweek break. Helpful efficient service in every respect.
Central Location, Poor Service
The location is convenient to the train station and to the Alhambra bus. We were not impressed with the customer service. The room was small but adequate.
A very good location and comfortable, clean hotel
It was an amazing stay with proximity to every major attraction in Granada and alot of nice restaurants and cafes, also hotel is very stylish and clean.
Short walk to all must-see sights
Close enough to walk to all Granada's sights, yet tucked away from the noise of the city. Enjoyed our 2 night stay in Oct. 2013 and appreciated the friendliness of staff and the excellent service. Parking was easy as the hotel had a garage which was 13 euros/day, the cheapest we found in Granada. Would stay again and highly recommend the hotel.
Good value in a central location.”
I stayed in a single room at the back of the ground floor, which in spite of being small was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The staff were weloming and helpful, giving me advice on where to go and what to see. It's centrally located (but not in the most busy areas) with good bars and restaurants nearby. It's very good value and a good place to stay.
Great mid price hotel
Set in the heart of Granada. Nothing bad to say about this place. Rooms clean and comfortable. Pet friendly. Great value breakfast served in partnership with restaurant aroun the corner. Will be staying again. If we can find it using the car - too many one way streets.
Nice hotel
very good hotel near the bus statations and all the attractions.
Good location..... Sketchy street
In a very sketchy neighbourhood. Boarded up shops covered in graffiti. The room was clean and we were walking distance to everything but I probably wouldn't stay there again unless I was desperate and still budget travelling.
Great hotel
Don't let the appearance of Calle Navarrete, on which street the hotel is situated, put you off. It is parallel to the main road leading to the cathedral area and city centre (10 mins walk away) but is shielded from all but occasional traffic noise. The hotel is clean, the room well appointed and comfortable, and the manager is most helpful. Excellent value and highly recommended.
Hard to find, but a great place to stay. Hotel had parking available. Very convent to city center and transportation to the Alhambra.
Great little hotel
While the room was small, it was overall good value for money. The hotel is situated within close proximity to everything; Plaza Nueva, the Alhambra, the Cathedral, Calle Elvira, Cuesta Beteta and Calle Zenete and just 5 mins walk from the Plaza del Triunfo, where you catch the airport bus for 3 euros!!! And if you feel adventurous and have the time; in a 10 min bus ride to Estación de autobuses, you can grab a bus to Sierra Nevada and/or La Alpujarra...and so much more!!
Cheap deal with very nice rooms
We stayed 4 nights and the hotel was clearly over the level of our expectations. The room was big and looks nicer than on the advertisement. The bathroom was very fresh. We had TV in the room. The beds were a bit hard, but it could have been worse. The street where the hotel was situated was a bit rough, but it was only 10 minutes of walk to the very city centre and it was a quiet neighbourhood. For this price you can not complain.
Basic, Clean, Convenient
What can I say? This hotel is basic but it's clean, has a killer hot shower, AC and free wifi, and is located in a very convenient spot in the center of Granada. It's easy to take trips back to the hotel in the middle of the day if you get tired and need a break (and Granada is hot in the summer, so you do get tired). Best of all, the price is VERY reasonable. It is just off the main road, so you have the convenience of that without the noise. Highly recommended.

A good stay. Hotel was great and in a good location.
